Wow. The maintenance crew has been amazing. My last 3 requests were completed quickly and quietly. My medicine cabinet was replaced. My ceiling fan was repaired, a light was replaced and the blinds were fixed. Thank you! I arrived home and it was like the item had been magically fixed. I will also say that if I am ever unhappy with a fix, maintenance is quick to return and make adjustments. Thanks again.

Helen Calhoun and the entire staff are knowledgeable, caring, and understanding I have lived here in this apartment complex for 2.5 years and would not live anywhere else apartment wise. The location is top tier and in central location of everything, you can walk to the movies, Costco, HEB central market, and have one of the best apartment staffs I’ve known so please if you are considering looking for and apartment please look here

I lived here for just about two years before moving to live closer to my new job.The pros:-It felt safe to me. I have seen other reviews about people having their cars stolen, and I will not invalidate their experiences. But personally, I never felt unsafe personally, or wherever I parked my car. The area in general felt safe for me.-Theres not a lot of flash to the apartment complex, but thats what allowed it to be a relatively good value, especially for the area.-The apartment itself was cool, nothing spectacular. A standard apartment.-The area: I loved living in that part of town because it felt like easy access to get everywhere that I wanted to go. And like I said, at the relative value of rent that I got it at, I liked it.The cons:-Because the apartment is relatively inexpensive and no frills, you do miss out on some things that surrounding complexes do have. Not the worst thing to me, but not ideal.-There was a portion of time where my A/C stopped working and the apartment/maintenance team took a long time to respond, and not in a cool time of year. And once or twice, they came in and said they fixed it, but it never was fixed. Eventually it did get fixed, but it was a miserable time, and that is the majority of why I took a star off of this review.-The kitchen is small and it does not come with a microwave, which I would expect for an apartment with rent that high (I said relatively inexpensive, not actually).Honestly, its a regular ol good apartment. Nothing amazingly special, other than location. But there werent any glaring deficiencies other than what I mentioned. I would recommend this as an apartment to rent at.

Beautiful complex and very quiet! We’ve been here for over a year now. I feel safe having my kids here, it’s clean, the office staff is super friendly and maintenance guys are quick to get our work orders done! I see other reviews about roaches but we’ve never had any issues, the apartments offer the pest spray every week sooo…idk, maybe they should request it

Very nice staff and maintenance folks that go above and beyond. AC unit went out over memorial day weekend and they quickly got a portable unit in place while waiting for part to fix main unit. Always friendly.

It has been a pleasure living here. Everyone is really professional and nice. Especially Victor (the maintenance guy) and Juanita.Occasional roaches, though. I heard its just a widespread problem in Houston. We have been keeping our new home really clean, so I hear fewer screams compared to the first week. Surprisingly, all the neighbors are quiet at night even though its pretty close to college. The parking lots are lit up throughout the night, and it has been super safe so far. Great place for families with kids and college students who study at night.

I toured this apartment after being recommended it by the awesome Gily at Gables Waterford Square.I have to say, Karla Fulker is an absolute doll and helped make my new home search an excellent and engaging experience. Her down to earth personality and manner of communicating were so inviting and I’m looking forward to applying to this property after my awesome experience with her!More people need to be Karla Fulker !

We really enjoy it here. We were planning to move but Victoria has been so nice and helpful. You can tell she enjoys her job and is very welcoming. The office and maintenance staff care about the property and neighbors. We have seen improvements since Victoria has been here. The location of the property is also phenomenal.

My boyfriend and I enjoy living here! The communication is typically good through email and flyers, the property is clean and inviting. Minor little issues with the apartment itself but overall we love our apartment. Nice pool as well!

Since I have to move in the next few months, Ive been desperately researching a number of apartment communities lately... hoping to find a place as good as this one. Ive read numerous reviews on other places and felt that this property deserved a review from me. My roommate and I have been here for a few years, and we have been very pleased with our experience. The location is amazing. The staff is helpful and friendly. Most residents are courteous and quiet. And our 2 bedroom unit is reasonably priced (for the area). Its a little outdated, but not bad. Weve been notified of a few incidents dealing with crime, but Ive never had any issues. In my eyes, the only downfall is visitor parking. On the weekends, spots tend to fill up quickly. My fiancee almost had to leave one night because there were no spots available, and we didnt want to risk the chance of being towed. He managed to find one spot in front of the leasing office just as he was leaving. Other than that, I have no complaints. And Id say that one is pretty minor anyway. This is by far the BEST Houston complex Ive lived at. Im pretty bummed to be leaving. No place is perfect, but my experience here has been pretty darn close to that. Im just hoping for a smooth move-out process with no surprising fees. Ill keep you updated.

I have lived at Gables Cityscape for about one year and have recently renewed my lease. There are a few things I like and appreciate about living in this community.Gables is centrally located which means I can meet friends in Montrose, Midtown, Rice Village and Uptown pretty easily. It is only a short walk to Central Market and Costco as well.The staff at Gables is friendly and they seem to know everyone by name! I guess thats the benefit of living in a small community. They are flexible and always willing to help! Like the time they went out of their way to receive a very important package for me the day before I left for a trip to Taiwan, they made sure I got the package after office hours.The units are a little older but well kept. Grounds are neat and trimmed. The pool got a makeover recently and it looks great. Maintenance is quickly to respond to any request you may have.Overall I have had a positive experience here and recommend it for people who are looking for a smaller, quiet, centrally located spot.

I have only admittedly been a resident for the better part of a week, but I love it! The staff is great, the amenities are great (especially the pool), and the other residents are friendly. Its very kid friendly, in my opinion, and centrally located in the city, so nowhere is really that far away, even though were all pretty much in quarantine for the time being.

My daughter and I currently live here and we love it. Its a nice community. I havent had any issues with my neighbors. The office and maintenance staff are wonderful. I could write about some imperfections of the complexr but realistically those opinions of mine can be said about every complex in America. The peace of mind I have being a single father raising a 7 year girl is priceless! Love it here!!

My husband and I have lived here a year and a half. This is in a good location for us, and the best value that we could find in the area. The office staff are friendly and know us by name. The maintenance staff are timely, so when we have had issues, they are resolved in a reasonable amount of time. We also feel safe here.

Olivia is really nice and informative about the apartments! Seems like a quiet complex just the gyms are too small for me and they have a package delivery fee that’s mandatory every month which I don’t need. If this is no issue for you then you should talk to Olivia about leasing she’s awesome 👍🏼

Very happy with the staff here, particularly Ryan Smith and Erin. They are both very approachable, understanding, and easygoing. The price is good for the location. The reason for four stars (instead of five) is that I would like to see them hire more maintenance folks and beef up the security measures. I believe, though, that they are currently working on doing both of these things. Nice quiet community -- happy to be here.

My ac stopped working efficiently during the hot summer months. Maintenance, specifically Jorge, identified the problem and quickly resolved the issue. We are definitely happy and relaxed living at this complex. Moved here in November 2014 and to date no regrets. Must complement the office staff on their courtesy and efficiency. We would definitely recommend Gables Cityscape as an option for residence in this area, close to almost everything, including the highway.
