    I recently had the pleasure of meeting with Bill, the property manager at Echo, and I couldnt be more impressed. From the start, Bill provided exceptional customer service, making me feel welcome and valued. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and took the time to address all of my questions with genuine care. His professionalism and warm demeanor created a positive experience, and itā€™s clear that he is truly dedicated to the residents and community. I highly recommend Bill and the Echo property for anyone looking for a well-managed and welcoming place to live!

    The management team here is outstanding. They are always friendly, approachable, and ready to help with any questions or concerns I have. Bill and his team truly go above and beyond.The maintenance team deserves a special shoutout. Whenever Ive needed assistance, theyā€™ve been quick to respond and very efficient in resolving issues. Itā€™s such a relief to know that help is just a phone call away.Overall, the combination of great management and prompt maintenance makes living here a wonderful experience.

    I seemed to have deleted my previous review by accident so here is my (tweaked) original post:Its been some time since I have moved out but I cannot be more happy with the complex. Office staff Victoria, Bill, and Joshua were nothing but accommodating. The community is very strong and I looked forward to all the events hosted, specifically the thirsty thursdays!Maintenance was very quick in replacing faulty utilities or patching something up for us. My husband and I had to move here on short notice and we are so happy we made the decision to come. Well never forget the kindness exhibited by staff and the love from the community here. The reviews calling the complex ratchet is from an individual who clearly never leaves the house šŸ¤­Everything you need is within walking distance too. Great location for a great price, loved it here!

    So I am gonna go ahead and give this as fair a review as possible. Let me start off by saying that me and my bf moved here from California in the summer of 2023 and we both have never lived in TX so we had a lot of anxiety. For our first place, Echo was not bad at all and we toured with Victoria and moved in with the help of Joshua, who I do believe is not around anymore, but he was great and amazing. I see other reviews saying that Victoria was unhelpful, but when we got a tour with her she was always super nice to us and really helped us out. Let me get into the year we were here and the pros and cons for people who are looking to move here. Pros:So honestly if you have a choice, move onto the fourth floor. We never had any issues with pests on this floor and our neighbors were always quiet. We kept to ourselves and besides the occasional party, which we did not really mind, it was totally reasonable with the noise. We were never woken up by loud parties or music even once on the fourth floor. Layout was awesome and we liked the open concept kitchen and our bathroom was huge and our bedroom was a very nice size as well. We really liked the layout of our apartment so if that matters to you then keep this in mind. We did have a balcony but we never really used it because there was not much of a view besides seeing the pool so opt for more space in your apt if you can compromise on the balcony. Like I said we kept our apt clean and never had any problems with bugs. If you do like the nightlife then yes it is very close to Cedar Spring strip with all the gay clubs so that can be a lot of fun. A lot of other residents were not outright rude or anything but certainly a majority of people here seemed to keep to themselves, but there are weekly events to help you meet other residents so those can be fun. The maintenance team is pretty good here. If you do have an emergency then they will show up and they will help you out. If you have a maintenance problem that can be solved down the road, then they might take a week or more to help you out. Our microwave went out and it took almost 10 days to get it fixed, which was not the best, but they did help us in the end. Also, never really had an issue with the freight elevator.Cons:So the biggest con that right off the bat is true and other residents have mentioned it here. There are definitely hidden fees to be aware of going into this. We paid almost 150 more every month just because of extra stuff that we could not opt out of. You have to use spectrum internet here and you also MUST use spectrum cable. We never watch TV ever but we were still forced to get cable and we had no option to get out of it. In addition, if you use the online portal to pay and use a credit card or something, they will charge you a service fee. There are more costs for parking, valet trash, etc so yes be wary of the added costs because they definitely exist and they definitely suck. There was definitely an incident of a homeless person sleeping in the elevator at one point. I came home after work and went to use the elevator and there was a homeless person just passed out on the floor. I was definitely seriously taken aback by that and ended up using the stairs. I ran into the leasing agents in the stairwell and they were already taking care of the problem but ya there are homeless in the area and there was a few instances of car break-ins unfortunately. I do not have a car, but we did get emails about it from time to time about car windows being smashed. For being built in 2015, our AC went out like four times. Every now and then we would turn our AC on and the temperature would not drop at all. If it was 80 degrees in our apt we would try to drop the temp down to 73 and even after HOURS of waiting, the temp would actually increase. We had to call maintenance for this several times and it eventually broke so much that they had to replace everything. For a modern apartment, it does suck when stuff like the air does not work and during the summer it really was not fun.

    I have lived at the Echo going on 6 years and I really enjoy the community. My apartment layout is great and so is the location. You are close to everything in Oak Lawn and Uptown. Yes, there can be little hiccups here/there with the elevators, but every apartment community has them. The office staff also helps makes this place a home. They are always there to help/listen when you have an issue and normally solve it immediately. Also, the maintenance team is 100%! The Echo is really a great place to live!

    Reasonable rent and great location. Five stars is for the maintenance team. Iā€™ve had 3 or 4 maintenance emergencies where Iā€™ve had a major appliance or my AC fail, all outside of standard business hours. The requests were resolved in 2 hours or less (usually had initial contact with maintenance in less than an hour). Even if they didnā€™t have a permanent solution at the time, they found a temporary fix in the interim until it could be resolved.The building is starting to show its age - I think itā€™s coming up to the 8-10 year mark where things start showing a little wear and tear or start to break, but they really do seem to be trying to keep the property up. Overall a great place to live!

    From the moment I stepped into the leasing office, I was met with Joshuas exceptional service and positive energy. His warm welcome and thorough understanding of the property was extremely helpful and made the moving process seamless. His professionalism and genuine concern for tenants needs stand out. Joshua truly exemplifies what a leasing agent should be. Highly recommend engaging with him for any leasing inquiries!

    I am a little late on my review from my move in in Mid October. I first want to say that If Joshua was not there the day we did our first visit we would probably have not pursued our residence there. He is the reason we are there! he is attentive, and he knows the community extremely well. The customer service that he provides is by far better than any apt community i have ever lived in. And he out shines his colleagues.The community itself is nice and has a lot to offer on amenities. Just as the most recent reviewer Jason mentioned, yes, there are things that could be better, sure, but please tell me where you can find the perfect place! it doesnt exist. Elevators & gated doors stop working on one crazy weekend. it was the perfect storm of issues. it happens! My response is when there is NO RESPOSE, that is when a compliant is warranted, but the Echo Team sent out multiple emails to residence.The convenience of being able to walk to the grocery store, shops, bars and restaurants is great. it is a nice area to be in. I finally feel like I am part of my community.Lastly, the amount of different kind of floorplans Echo has is great! it is hard to decide. We found 4 we liked and due to the time we needed to move there was only 1 of the 4 available but it was truly the best one and I could not be happier with it.Now we are looking forward to the new year and spending time in the now NEW pool that i know was a very big touchpoint for residents this year, rightfully so, but i feel from what i have heard from residents so far is the Echo Team handled it as quickly as they could have.oh, and yes, I cannot say enough about the maintenance staff. excellent!!!i would recommend this community to any of my friends and family.

    I probably would have put my review at 2/3 stars if it wasnā€™t for Robert. Heā€™s the sweetest, very accommodating and at the happy hours is always so friendly and is always smiling! He definitely made my stay at Echo a better one and I hope he is recognized for how great he is and just a gem of a person. Heā€™s very knowledgeable and always handles every situation professionally and makes you, as a resident, feel valued and appreciated. Shine is super unfriendly and me and a lot of the other residents joke that her name definitely does not suit her.Iā€™ve lived at Echo for 2 years, however Iā€™m moving to a new place because it offers upgraded appliances and amenities for much less than I currently pay and itā€™s less than 4 minutes away.While living here, I havenā€™t had too many complaints. Anytime I needed something fixed, like the appliances, they were usually fixed quite promptly. The maintenance men are so friendly and amazing. My AC goes out all the time, but he taught me how to fix it so now I just do it myself. The elevators hardly ever work, but luckily I donā€™t have a disability so Iā€™m not affected and donā€™t mind taking the stairs.The parking situation is atrocious. You pay for parking spot, which is fine, and guests have to register their cars and you must register every 24 hours or you will be towed promptly. However, Iā€™ve been towed from my own spot twiceā€¦ so that isnā€™t fun and expensive. You do not get cell service on B2 and it can be quite scary at night. Iā€™ve had my car broken into twice and been approached by intimidating men, on numerous occasions. I usually try and park on the street, because I feel safer than in the garage.My apartmentā€™s layout is quite odd and there isnā€™t an island, has very limited storage and doesnā€™t have upgraded appliances. However there is concrete floors, granite counters, large patio, which I love, and the bathrooms are huge and modern. Some of the units do have upgraded appliances and islands, so just be sure to specify which one you are getting.I love the pool here, and the Thirsty Thursday happy hours are quite fun. Everyone seems to be generally happy, except for my neighbor, who you can hear scream at his dog through the wallsā€¦ so, hopefully you donā€™t have him as your neighbor.Overall, I would say the best thing about living here, was the fun community and how close it is to everything and Robert.

    Joshua is the best leasing agent ever! He was so incredibly kind, helpful, and understanding with all my needs at Echo. He is a recent hire and has really upgraded the complex in my opinion. He loves the property and wants to make sure itā€™s the best experience for all residents. He is the BEST!

    This is 100% one of the best apartments I have ever lived in. Itā€™s nice, clean, quiet and over all a great community. A huge thanks to the maintenance team who came to our rescue late last night because somehow my dog locked our deadbolt lock and we couldnā€™t get in. He came out in a timely manner and was able to help us get in with no hesitation. Couldnā€™t be anymore happier in the community and the team at Echo.

    I love my apartment space here at Echo as well as the complex as a whole. My apartment is very spacious, clean and looked brand new upon move in. Very big closets and bathrooms. The pool area is awesome and always in the sun. It has a great work out facility that is never too packed. I feel very safe here with the gated parking and such. Lastly, the management here is wonderful! They really go out of their way to help me with anything. Courtney has been awesome as well as everyone else. Perfect location off of the tollway and not loud either!!

    Joshua Clark was exceptional on all fronts. Moving time was complicated by movers, wifi setup, Amazon deliveries to a new address and overnight, juggling all tasks; he made it work. Timely response to questions and concerns made the moving process stress free.With a professional approach and contagious positive attitude he serviced our requests immediately as well as effectively. Joshua certainly established trust with choosing Echo apartments as our next home and I would highly recommend him as a leasing agent for a stress-free move!

    I moved into Echo about a month ago and it has been a great fit thus far! My apartment was perfect upon move in, including a special request to have a light raised before I even arrived. The unit is clean and spacious with excellent modern features. So far Ive enjoyed all the amenties the complex has to offer including the pool, fitness center, and proximity to shops and restaurants. The office staff has been especially helpful as Ive had packages delivered and in answering any questions Ive had. Both Victoria and Courtney have been amazing to work with. So far Echo has more than met my expectations!

    *** Awesome Amenities, feels very safe, and in an awesome location next to a ton of stuff! Very spacious bathrooms, huge walk in closets, amazing pool, tons of kitchen storage- Then Echo off Herschel is the Apartment for you. The staff is very friendly in this location. They learn your name and get to know you, as they should! Courtney was very friendly. She was more than accommodating. Courtney worked very well around my schedule for a tour of the property. We spoke 30 plus times on the phone. Each time, Courtney or Phil had a smile in their voice and seemed very motivated to answer the questions I had. My roommate was very hesitant about moving in. Now, she is beyond happy with our apartment. We are super close to the Toll way, close to a ton of restaurants and the night life of Dallas. We have two grocery stores to choose from- Kroger (within walking distance) and Whole foods.The best part would be the security at this location. I love the feeling that no one can get in without an opener. Furthermore, I love how the resident parking is gated separated from the guest parking.

    Ive been there a week and I love it. From the moment I walked in the door, Victoria was helpful and showed me multiple floor plans. She also helped me understand how the very complicated rent algorithm works in renting an apartment in Dallas. Victoria did a great job of investigating my needs to give me the best fit for my lifestyle. Courtney, the manager, was great on follow up and took the time to answer my millions of questions with concern and kindness. She expressed her understanding of moving to a new place and made me feel very comfortable. My move in went super smooth with no blips. Stephen addressed the very few issues I immediately had in my unit as well as continuing to be helpful as I need anything. Just this morning he helped me with the coffee machine (love the complimentary Starbucks in the morning!) I met Jesus in the elevator. He was super nice. I shared with him there was gum on the carpet in front of the elevator. I went down to my car and came back, and the gum was gone. The carpet was clean and smelled fresh. The staff has been extremely responsive to my needs and Ive definitely made a good decision to join the Echo Dallas family. What an amazing staff! Thank you!

    Christina Anderson is the woman for the job! Period! She was working alone today and managed to PROFESSIONALLY handle all tenants and future residents. I can tell this property is managed well because one tenant that was speaking to her when I walked in came back to check on her since she was working alone. He said he left his cell phone haha!! I would lease here if the floor plan worked for me. Super impressed by the customer service. 5 stars plus!!!

    My experience at the complex has been excellent thus far. The staff has always been helpful. The maintenance requests that have been submitted have been completed within 24 to 36 hours. On occasion the grounds get a little littered but are maintained regularly. Sometimes the distance to my apartment from parking can be a little trek but that is the design of the building and knew when moved in. The elevators can be slow at times but overall fine. Overall it has been a great location and responsive.

    Iā€™ve been living here at Echo for a little over 4 months now and Iā€™ve really enjoyed living here! I found the complex by chance when I was shopping around the Oak Lawn area for a rental and Courtney and Victoria have been wonderful since Iā€™ve first met them. They have always been so helpful and responsive. What few maintenance requests Iā€™ve opened since move in have all been taken care of promptly. I havenā€™t been here through a summer season yet, so canā€™t speak for how itā€™s like when the courtyard/pool gets busy. Regardless, Iā€™m glad I didnā€™t let the reviews from 2015/2016 deter me ā€“ if youā€™re looking for an apartment in this part of Dallas, definitely consider checking out a unit!

    Ive been here in Echo (and Dallas!) for about 2 months and I am very happy to have chosen this apartment complex.I love my apartment. Big areas, nice amenities, quiet neighbors, safety feeling, cleanness, and Echo events are some of the features that I appreciate here.At least, and for me one of the more important things here, I love the Staff. They are super helpful and friendly. Courtney has been amazing helping me staled down here in Dallas.Planning on staying for a long time ! :)

    I have been living at Echo since October 2017. So far, Im loving the experience! The building and amenities are kept clean, the location is great, and the office staff is professional. I have especially had a great experience with Courtney, the office manager. She has always been extremely friendly and attentive. If you want to visit here, I would highly suggest booking a tour with her if possible!

    This place is PHENOMENAL. The facilities are modern and clean, the apartments are affordably priced. Great amenities (I especially love the free daily Starbucks). More importantly, the people at Echo genuinely care about you and try to make your experience a great one. From Rene, Vanessa, Gary - everyone Ive encountered at Echo has been incredible. I would highly recommend living in Echo if youre looking for apartments in Dallas. I love it.

    I have lived at Echo since July of 2017. I was able to complete the process from application to move-in in a week. I love my apartment and the amenities are awesome. The office staff quickly learned my name and they greet you with a smile whenever you walk in.

    Love this complex. It has been my home for 2 years. The pricing is a bit expensive but it is expected because of the proximity to basically EVERYTHING! The apartments are beautiful, never had a single issue with anything. Maintenance is very responsive and the management is great. The building is well maintained.

    When Im visiting my friend, a current resident, something new grabs my attention. Does anyone take the time to look at how clean the parking garage is. Laugh if you must I sure am, but its true it is by far one of the cleanest that Ive ever seen. No garbage on ground or any trash bin with lol trash in it lol. It tickles me but its true. You must give credit where credit is due.

    Good apartments. Security is tight but that means the access systems cannot break down. When they do, its a royal pain in the a** like they did today. Space is tight when trying to get in and out.
