Eastgate is an awesome complex in a great location with fun amenities. The apartments are spacious and clean with ample storage. The management team, especially Tyler, is willing to go above and beyond to help their tenants. Maintenance is also very responsive to requests and respectful. The management team is usually the worst part of any apartment community, but this is definitely not the case at Eastgate! I would recommend this complex to anyone. -

I have been living at Eastgate for almost 5 years and I have to say, I love it. In my 5 years, the staff has changed a bit but all maintenance requests or issues I have had have always been addressed promptly. I originally lived in a one bedroom and transferred to a two bedroom. Both have been great living spaces and have been very comfortable. I appreciate the 24 hour access to the gym, pool, and laundry facilities. Eastgate has also fixed the fences and created a secure system allowing us to use an app to gain access to the facilities so it feels much safer with this renovation! -

The service at this apartment complex is fantastic. The staff is GREAT from the front office staff with Mr. Tyler, Miss Kristen, and Miss Chelsey. Also, they have a super responsive maintenance service. Mr. Johnny is always ready to help fix anything well and promptly. -

Ive been a resident at Eastgate apartments since it was The Oaks & Regency Square. Great location near Baylor University and walking distance to campus events. Affordable pricing, updated amenities, and cordial staff. Would recommend to anyone! -

The office and maintenance staff truly care about the residents and the property in general. I have seen the dramatic changes take place over the last 8 months and I know that these will continue. Ive noticed a lot of negative reviews that seem to have the same theme of receiving lease violations. This is the office trying desperately to keep the residents responsible for following the rules, and keeping the property clean. And please, if you ever have concerns or questions, the office team is very approachable and want to help!I am not only the regional manager but I am also a temporary resident. These properties are not new so there are many maintenance issues that arise unexpectedly. We do our best to address each one timely and with as little disruption as possible. My husband and I have met so many nice residents and we have had no issues since weve been here. The community is very quiet and very conveniently located. The price is extremely reasonable especially for the size of the apartments and the central location. There are many new features in the works and Im excited to get those going!! -

I have really enjoyed living here so far, other than a few kinks, which isn’t there fault because the new management needs time. The proximity to campus is great. Work orders are carried out in a timely fashion and the office calls to make sure the issue was properly resolved. I also have really loved the fitness center I workout there 4 times a week with the exception of two days where I workout on campus. All I’m asking for is a SQUAT RACK and all my needs would be met! Keep up the good work! -

I truly loved living at Eastgate. My apartment was clean, with an open layout and a great location right next to my school. I especially loved the yard area, right outside my front door, where my dog could run around with her friends daily. The recently renovated office, pool, & gym were incredibly cool & convenient to hang out with my friends! The staff was wicked friendly, always got things done in a timely manner, especially the maintenance staff when there were emergencies! -

I have enjoyed living here at Eastgate thus far Management has even hinted at getting more equipment in the gym. It’s definitely a nice gym for an “apartment gym” but if there was a bit more equipment I would totally renew my lease. With what I’m paying per month, I expected my apartment to be a tad bit nicer. Some of my cabinets had holes in them and some were sagging. My ceiling fan had not been installed. However, I do understand that the property is a bit older and they’re trying to add new and updated features. (But they may want to hire a new contractor because the work they did in my apartment was terrible) However, maintenance was timely is getting all my work requests done. -

Honestly, the staff at Eastgate are the absolute best people. The entire time I lived there, they made sure every tenant felt valued and they were always prompt to answer any questions or address any issues. I moved out a couple months ago and just had an issue with corporate, but the staff at Eastgate went above and beyond to help me figure out the situation and were just as perfectly courteous and helpful as they always were when I was a tenant there. The complex is also in a really convenient location, and the townhouse setup is wonderful and incredibly affordable for the amount of space you get! -

I am a graduate student, and so far I have had a wonderful experience. The management is so kind and helpful, and while there have been lots of billing problems through SimpleBills, the management works very hard to make sure the residents are taken care of. Whenever I have a maintenance request, it is promptly fixed, and the maintenance crew is delightful. My apartment is beautiful with the renovations from the summer, parking is great, and its a very peaceful and quiet area. Love it here! -

Tyler is an absolute professional and always makes sure his tenants are well taken care of. The entire staff work extremely hard and can have a lot on their plate, so if youre respectful and courteous youll enjoy living here. Been living here for about 5 years then moved to dallas after graduation. Decided to move back to waco and the transition was very smooth. Its a great place to live with close proximity to campus. -

Great apartment complex! Only a 5 minute walk from campus. Interiors are a bit older but new appliances and cheap rent are great! Super nice workout center. The maintenance team is awesome and very quick to respond. All the people in the office are friendly and helpful, Taylor especially has been great about answering questions about my lease! -

Eastgate has been such a pleasant place to live. The amenities are beautiful. The laundry is easy to use. If I ever have issues with anything, the staff is prompt in responding to and fixing my needs. I love living here and will continue to recommend friends and family to Eastgate! -

I am very impressed with the management, and the way they handled a problem we encountered. Our sons apartment had an unforeseen issue, that was going to delay his ability to move in. Hes from out of state, and only had a car with all his belongings. After talking to management, they promptly found a great solution in minimal time that allowed him to stay until the issue with his unit was taken care of. They were gracious, prompt and very helpful. He has only been there a day or so, so we cant speak to how it will be once he has been a resident for a bit, but if they handle issues the way they handled ours, I have full confidence things will be fine! Thank you Eastgate Management! We are very, very grateful! -

Great place to live, nice and well maintained facilities and the staff is amazing. Gym, laundry, pool and more are provided and it’s a good place to live whether you are a student or not. The apartments are also much nicer than other places that I have lived at or toured in the same area, and the prices are fair.Bottom line, I would definitely recommend checking Eastgate out if you are looking for an apartment in the Waco area! -

I love it here! The gates need some fixing to help prevent theft that goes on around campus and the signs out front need to be all changed from regency to eastgate so there is no more confusion. I always have to try and explain to the confused pizza guy that I am at eastgate but it has a regency sign out front. The staff is super friendly and my apartment is super nice. We havent had any issues with roaches inside our apartment and we keep it clean and spray often. I recommend some chairs or seating in the courtyard by the A building like there is in the other buildings across 5th street. Such a nice courtyard it just needs some more seating and a grill. Love it here Anthony and the nice maintenance man that is always working are awesome! -

Great place!!! Wonderful staff, & even more excellent maintenance team! My issue was fixed almost immediately. They’re all fantastic, but the younger especially! He was thorough with his work, quick & efficient, personable, & I could just tell he wanted to make sure the job was done correctly. 5 stars on his end, would definitely recommend living here!! -

Eastgate is pretty awesome. They always have fun events going on at the clubhouse and the staff is accommodating. My apartment has hardwood floors and lots of storage space. The gym is large and useful. Its close to campus so no need to pay for a parking permit. -

Honestly these are one of the best apartments I have lived in. The maintence crew fix’s your problems in a timely manner and the staff in the office are always super friendly. The apartment themselves are very nice for the price and offer plenty of storage closets. I think the only downside is the extreme cost for pets which is 25 a month after you already pay 500 for a deposit but other than that this place has most apartment complexes beat in Waco. Would definitely recommend. -

The management staff are super friendly and they always hear what I have to say. When we do have maintenance problems the maintenance team are pretty fast getting to us. Plus the gym is a really good plus for them. Definitely would recommend to others. -

The space is great, for the price I love it. Kitchen is small but it big enough that I don’t feel cramped. The only problem I have is the cigarette smell. When we first got here it was extreme and very unpleasant. Now it’s mostly gone but when you first walk into the apartment you can still smell it. -

I love Eastgate Waco! The staff is super friendly(yay go Anthony) and they truly care about their residents. The maintence guy is sweet as well he always waives at me when he drives by and is super welcoming. The only thing I would fix is getting the gates working properly to help protect from autotheft and to change the sign on the A apartments to say Eastgate instead of Regency. Its really confusing to give directions to my apartment with the two different signs. And the courtyard in the A Apartments could use some additonal seating outside and some upkeep.The apartment is great, newly renovated. They are adding more gym equipment and I am super stoked. Keep up the good work! -

Ive lived at East Gate, formerly known as Bear Grounds, for 2 years. I have to say, never has a management team treated me and my roommate with such hospitably and help. I love the renovations CrestMarc is making to former Bear Grounds: they are re-painting, installing new cabinets and appliances, adding hard-wood floors and better lighting. Its going to look great! -

I meant to write this sooner but a lot has happened in these past few weeks. I have lived here at Eastgate for 3 years now. This place used to be called The Oaks. Ive been through many owners and management in that time. There have been ups and downs with this place but what stayed consistent, at least with my experience, is the staff. I have always had a great experience when talking with them or asking questions. These people deal with DAILY disgruntled calls and complaints and still have always managed a smile and sincere hello when I come in. In particular I want to mention a situation that happened last week. Most of my family is from Rockport Tx. They were greatly affected by Hurricane Harvey. To add insult to injury, I fell extremely ill at that same time. Due to a computing error I had a couple work orders closed out for my apt that actually didnt get done that same week. I was LIVID. I emailed and called leaving a message ready to argue up a storm. I was immediately contacted the next day by Katherine that morning. I was hot and voiced my reasons as well as my personal situations that made my problems even more upsetting. Without even a stutter Katherines first response was her condolences and genuine concern for my personal health. COMPLETELY knocked me off my feet. I was not prepared for such kindness. She immediately corrected my work orders and even has done a follow up since then. I just wanted thank her and the entire staff at Eastgate. These amazing people are what made my 5 star review firm. They care. I can personally attest to that... -

The renovated apartments, and fitness center are nice. It does seem a bit unorganized sometimes with communication and systems. If you can work with Anthony, he has his stuff together and is always extremely helpful. -

Great place! I have a parking spot infront of my apartment for me to keep a classic truck! Also they are classic car friendly as long as it has tires that are aired up. Love the staff they are all neighbors especially taylor he is a good friend and very helpful in the office! -

The staff is really nice and understanding, you just have to get to know them. The maintance people are also try to get the situation handled as soon as possible. From my understanding they’re trying really hard to get a better reputation with new people in place. My only issue is that sometimes things randomly will breakdown but it’s also an older building so I’m not too upset. -

The only thing I hate about living here is people and there dog or dogs!! I work 12 hours a day from 6pm to 6am so when I come home at 6:30 I want to sleep not having to listen to dogs barking or clawing on the walls. -
