Just stopped in to ask a few question about possibly staying there. The few minutes that I was there the staff was extremely nice to me and answered all questions and potential questions. Seems like an awesome place to live and not worry

The moving in process was smooth and there were no big problems other than the German roaches, which are being taken care of right now. The communal laundry rooms are a bit dirty and the machines are old. However, Catalina always helps with all my questions and issues whenever I visit the main office. The neighbors are nice and I have had no issues with them.

I love my apartment I have no complaints besides the roach infestation. I have requested 3 times now to be sprayed for roaches, they have said they will come every Thursday and have not been taken care of once. There are baby German roaches covering my house and no one has come to take care of it. I wouldn’t be writing a complaint if it was a small amount or anything like that, but if i pick up anything in my house, I have to immediately be prepared to vacuum any amount of roaches or/mainly baby roaches that have been hiding underneath or within our furniture. We are not messy people we clean up our house on the daily, after multiple complaints of the issue still no one has come.

I would like to thank the maintenance personnel at this place for doing amazing job of get the property up to standard for summer. Please give the new management a change to improve things, if it took awhile to get this or that way before they got here. Good blessed all the new office help, Beck.

Affordable housing 2 blocks from the beach. The people in the front office are very kind and helpful. The maintenance personnel are always on top of any issue that might arise. And, the best part, all of the units have been recently renovated and look awesome.

Absolutely love living here Catalina in the office and Catherine are awesome! I love my apartment and it is way better than where I used to live! I’m so happy to be here and thankful!

We moved out of Carelton Courtyard two years ago. At the time, I left a 1 star review because the management was so poor. We had constant problems with them and couldnt flee this place fast enough.Fast forward to now. Weve had to reconnect with Carelton to sort out some account discrepancies and there is new management and they have been wonderful. Cathy went out of her way to help us despite our not being current tenants. She was incredibly kind and helpful.Though we dont live here anymore, I can tell that the new management is doing a much better job and would recommend checking it out now. The proximity to UTMB is fantastic. Its a 10 minute walk or 3 minute bike ride, and youre within walking distance of the field house gym.

I have lived at Carelton Courtyard Apartments going on 7-8 years. There is a reason I’ve lived here for so long. I’ve owned 5 homes and lived in an abundance of apartments and condos over my 70 years of life and I can only relate what is important to me. Great personnel: No matter who’s in the office at any given time, they are always polite, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable with a good sense of humor. Service: The maintenance crew is always on top of their game. I’ve never put in a request that wasn’t answered promptly, and considering how many apartments are in residence, that’s a great thing. Cleanliness: The pools are always sparkling, the grounds are kept in great shape, and they even provide doggy bags for pet owners to pickup after their pets. Security: This is a gated community and is always locked down for residents. That feature alone makes me feel the safest I’ve ever felt in an apartment. One extra benefit—the office has a “delivery closet” for residents which you can walk into anytime the office is open and pick up packages yourself. Do yourself a favor and check out Carelton Courtyard Apartments. You’ll be pleasantly surprised.

I moved in in November and have had no issues. There are no bugs in my apartment. I feel safe here. The office staff is very professional and nice.

Been here for a few months! Staff is always friendly. My rent is very reasonable. When I have issues in my apartment, they come and fix it right away. No bugs in my unit. Very quiet. I like the security of having a gate. anyone just can’t get in unless you have a key or know someone with inside. Overall, the best place I’ve had on the island. I love it here

I feel very safe living here. Not just because it is gated, but because the people living around me are kind and helpful. Im much older than my close neighbors and they look out for me. The management is helpful and easy to work with and the maintenance people are kind and try to get it right the first time!

I lived here for about 4.5 months. The location is great if you like the beach or work at UTMB. There is adequate parking and a very convenient grocery store. The apartments are nice but not great.I liked the staff, but there is a great deal of knowledge difference between staff members. If one tells you something that doesnt sound right, come back another time and ask someone else. With time this problem may be corrected.Community is gated which I found very irritating, but that is typical around Galveston. Renters insurance is cheaper because of the gates.

You get what you are paying for here. The front office is great, other than maintenance request take a while to get done if you do not stay on top of them. They also never lost power during the burial winter snow storm in February of 2021, which I am greatly fortunate about.
