    Ive lived here for a year, I left a review previously explaining how AWESOME the staff and maintenance crew is at this location, and I will not stop complimenting them. They are quick to respond to any needs or concerns ive had (which is very little considering how neat they keep the property) and they always host parties for the community to get together and know each other, which has been nice to meet new neighbors and friends. The facilities at this location are wonderful, and the apartments are kept very secure, police patrol the area frequently. There is a starbucks, movie theater, salon, gelato place, and a steakhouse all within walking distance! A special shoutout to Gabriel for always making me smile and answering the phone so pleasantly! Avalon at Lakeside in Flower Mound sure does know how to keep a community happy!

    We love living at Avalon Lakeside! There is more of a community feel than most apartment complexes so it really feels more like a home. Being walkable to restaurants, trails, and the lake is amazing. The office and maintenance staff are super responsive (Jeffery, Ronnie and Lo). They really want you to be happy here! We haven’t gone through the lease renewal process yet but assuming that is handled as well as everything else we plan to be here for years! It is so much easier than when we owned a house:)

    We have lived here for the last 6 years and love it! Besides all the wonderful local retail offerings our favorite part of living at Avalon Lakeside is the amazing maintenance department. Jeff and his team do a fabulous job and are always immediately responsive and professional. The maintenance service is so good we cant see ourselves going back to the money-pit of owning a home.

    Avalon Lakeside has been a fantastic place to call home! The apartments are beautifully maintained and offer a comfortable, welcoming environment in the perfect location. The management team, especially Lo Schultz, goes above and beyond to ensure residents have the best experience. Any issues we’ve encountered were handled promptly and professionally, making our time here truly enjoyable. We’re so happy here that we plan to stay for a while longer—this place really feels like home!

    We love this property! The landscaping and amenities are well kept, and the location is perfect! The one thing that really sold us on the property was Abdul! Hes the kindest person I know! When we toured the property, he made sure that all of our needs were met and that we found a unit that was perfect for our lives! Hes kept in touch with us even after we moved in to make sure that we feel welcome and happy with our decision! On move in day, our apartment was spotless and even came with a few gifts to get us started! You use an app on your phone to access the buildings and amenities and I think thats really neat! We look forward to joining the community and taking advantage of the coffee shops, movie theater, and gelato that is close by! We know that if we ever need anything, Abdul and the amazing staff at Avalon Lakeside will meet our every need and exceed our expectations every time!

    I have been here almost 6 years and i LOVE it!!! The office staff is amazing and friendly ( thank you Lo for the great ideas :) ). The maintenance staff is AMAZING especially Ronnie McFarland. He went out of his way to make sure my maintenance issues were completed on a timely basis. And he followed up when I had an issue that couldn’t be fixed the same day. If you want to live in a great community with great neighbors, office staff and maintenance, then come here. There’s a reason a lot of people have lived here as long as they have!! ❤️

    Maintenance resolved an internet issue I had. Most importantly, maintenance is always timely in fixing issues unless they are at the mercy of other contractors which is no fault of theirs. I appreciate them so much and highly recommend Avalon! Their maintenance team is courteous, kind and always helpful, as well as their office staff!

    Literally the best apartment complex I have ever resided. The front leasing office is professional and takes time to address my questions or assist with submitting maintenance request every time I have visited.The maintenance crew lead by the lead Jeff is fantastic. Repairs have generally been either same day or next day at the latest.I couldn’t be more happier living here.

THIS IS THE ONLY REASON IM GIVING THIS 5 STARS BECAUSE OF YOU JEFF! BLESS!Please, Lakeside management, if you are reading this? PLEASE consider alternate unlocking methods for people trying to get in their apartments or else someone is going to freeze their butts off in your hallways.

    A great place to live! Great staff and the maintenance crew is the best! They are always prompt to address any issue and they even fixed an additional problem that they noticed without me having to request service! Jeff, Ronnie, Lo and the rest of the staff are the best.     I really love it here - I’m going on 1.5 years and planning to re-sign again this summer. Tons of positives - helpful and friendly front office (shoutout MaKinley!) that made my move in a breeze and always helps with any other issues that arise, very quick and efficient maintenance team (shoutout Ronnie!) that always respond to my requests within ~24 hours and keep the grounds looking great at all times, thick walls that prevent me from hearing my neighbors and provide peace of mind that I’m not bothering anyone else, and an incredible walkable neighborhood with retail, restaurants, nearby nature trails and outdoor recreation opportunities. I don’t have any negatives to speak of that are the fault of the complex. Problems will always arise when living in an apartment, and the difference is having a team that is well constructed and willing to help at all times. Thanks a million to all the people that make Avalon lakeside a great place to call home

    Love this place! Going on 3rd year now. The staff is so friendly and shout out to Lo, she was so helpful. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and concerts in the park. Dog parks, dog washing stations, bike trails, new appliances, clean. Would highly recommend.

    Great property, the team is very helpful. My dog locked me out of the apartment, jumping up and throwing the deadbolt from the inside. The maintenance team bent over backwards to get me back in ASAP and took care of everything. Highly recommend Avalon Lakeside!

    Even though we didnt get a chance to move into the apartment due to unforeseen circumstances on our end, Abdulai was always there for us and the whole touring and application process were very easy with him, and the complex looks so nice, and offers one of the best prices in the area for a complex of its quality tier, the lakeside shops are amazing too!

    So, I have lived here for 6 years. I moved in after going through a divorce and thought I would be here for 2 maybe 3 years at most. Now 6 years later I just gave me notice to move out and it is bittersweet, because I have loved living here so much. There really is a sense of “community” here and I have really loved living here. It will be hard to leave. I am so grateful to the Management, especially Melanie. She was so supportive while going through my divorce and flexible with my moving arrangements. The apartments are spacious and the décor was perfect for decorating my apartment in a cozy shabby chic theme. I can’t say enough about the Maintenance Department. Not once did I ever have any issues and I have always been impressed with how quickly they have responded. I have always felt safe here and the amenities are great. The surrounding area has pretty much everything you need and bonus that they have live music during the summer. You walk around at night and music is in the air and people are enjoying the various restaurants. There is a cute grocer store that has always been so convenient to run over to if I needed a grocery item. The neighbors have been great, quiet, no issues and I have even made some good friends. Nice gym/pool as well and the landscaping is always kept up. I have always gotten a ton of compliments on my apartment and so many of my friends loved coming over this way to hang-out socially. This is a place where I would want my mom to live if that need ever arose, which is saying a lot. If you are trying to decide to move between this place or another community I can tell you that you would be making a good choice if you chose to live here. Thanks Nexus Lakeside for the great experience and I will really miss it here.

    I have lived at Nexus for 4 years and love the location and amenities. My only complaint is the parking. All of the 1845 restaurant guests park in our reserved spots and I find myself having to walk from the back of the complex to find a spot.I spend a lot money here each month and feel like we should have spots solely reserved for the tenants of the building. Parking stickers would help & towing signs.Maintenance is always quick to respond and they are very friendly. Office staff is friendly and helpful as well.

    Awesome community! The move in was super easy, leasing agents are super nice, and might I mention the apartments are located in a beautiful area.Upon doing the move in checklist, I noted that my cold water handle in the bathroom was very loose and was coming off. They sent maintenance an hour later to fix it. I didnt even have to request them, they just came and fixed it. Very convenient and impressed. I highly recommend this community.

    So my AC control box was completely out at the end of a weekday and the maintenance came in and told me it needed to be replaced. We both definitely thought it would take days to find a new control box, but they found what they needed within 30 minutes and made it work! So thankful for this!

    I have lived at the Nexus Lakeside Apartments for 2 years. I love where I live! The locations is outstanding!!! The amenities are outstanding! My apartment has very high ceilings, wooden floors, lots and lots of windows, a wonderful large balcony, an elevator to the 2nd floor, stainless steal appliances, large counters in the kitchen and bathroom, large sink in the kitchen, double sinks in the bathroom, large garden tub, washer and dryer, ceiling fans, many lights, and carpeting in the bedroom. The hallways leading up to the apartment doors are temperature controlled. There is a nightly trash valet on the weekdays.What I dont like: Only 1 small closet in the entry and 1 walk-in closet in the bathroom. Parking on the weekends, especially Friday nights can be difficult to find close to the entry of the apartment building. This makes it challenging to carry groceries, etc.. The foyer and elevator are not cleaned very often. Neighbors often put their garbage out on days that are not trash days. Every night I can hear the next door neighbors dog barking. I believe the dog is in a kennel and barks for 6 to 7 hours non stop. The outside windows have never been cleaned. I live on the second floor and have lots of windows. The rent has jumped and I am hoping is not about to happen again when it is time to renew the lease again.Over all, the place is incredible. I hope to live here for a long time! You can not beat the movie theatre, restaurants, walking trails, lake, dog park, and access to just about everywhere. You will not be disappointed!

    The man who came up to fix the maintenance request was in and out in maybe 10-15 minutes. I was in the other room so I thought he maybe needed to get a part for what I thought was broken when he left. So I was waiting to see if he was coming back. But got a message saying my request was completed and was shocked to see that it actually was completed. Really quick service, barely noticed that he was even there.Really satisfied with the maintenance crew working here, I haven’t had any negative experiences so far.Really a great place to live and me and my partner have no complaints about anything over all and have enjoyed the time we’ve been renting here.

    I lived here for 4 years, renewing 3 times. BEST property manager and support and maintenance staff I have ever experienced. It starts with Melanie who is the most honest, accountable and friendly PM Ive encountered in 10+ years of renting. Its not even close. Any time I had a question, it got answered promptly. If the rare mistake happened, it got fixed with zero delays or excuses. I frequently shared suggestions and each was listened to; many were acted upon (adding a recycling bin in the mail room for example). This is a great location too! Walking distance to restaurants and nearby Grapevine lake trails. A short drive from all your essentials. Safe. Maintained well compared to most facilities. If youre comparing this property to a similar residence, I highly recommend opting for a team you can count on. Its not just one less thing to worry about. Its something to look forward to. Treat them with respect and they will take care of you. That said, should Melanie ever leave, all bets are off! I love my new place, but the management is nowhere near the caliber I grew accustomed to. Tell them Kyle sent you.

    The neighborhood is awesome. The location is awesome. But, the highlight is the office staff. They are so great. Whenever I call for maintenance, they are so quick to respond. They have set up so many events that enabled me to meet people in the apartments. Melanie is so down to earth and helpful. I have been very happy with this community so far.

    I had a short term lease here and only stayed here for five months. The apartment are clean, quiet, and updated. The community around lakeside is wonderful and full of fun things to do like free concerts. The only down side I noticed while living here is there a good amount of road noise coming off 2499. Other then that it was a fantastic place to live.

    I love living here so much. What I appreciate above all else is the quick and speedy response time if anything ever needs repair. It has always been within 12 hours of my request. I am currently in the market for a home, yet nothing seems to compare to this large and spacious apartment with big closets and 2 master bathrooms. I love being able to walk to restaurants, bars, the post office, and gym. I am spoiled!!! I dont ever want to leave!!

    So far move in has been amazing. From the first time I came to look at the apartments Abdul was wonderful. Never made me feel rushed when I looked the first time, let me look at the town home when it became open. And when we picked up keys- the simple “welcome home”- meant a lot!

    Well during this time of a pandemic, I thought moving would be a bad thing. But in the end it was a great experience. Kyle helped me through the whole process and it was seem less and smooth. I’m so glad I moved To the Nexus at Lakeside! Even my old neighbor is now my neighbor again! Told them about the community and it’s truly amazing! Lots of shopping in the area and food! Mail room is amazing ! Pool is beautiful!

    My husband and I have lived at the Nexus for 2 years I can say this is by far the best apartment we lived in. My only complaint is the parking or speeding on Long Prairie. We have parking spaces for Nexus residents, but 1845 restaurant guests park in our spot leaving residents to search for parking. Maintenance completes orders promptly which is a plus. Oh, just an FYI if youre staying in building 1 be prepared for car accidents and loud speeding or street racing at all hours of the night. Hate to leave, but we are moving to Addison.

Bills usually become available about 1.5 weeks before due date.Also, I do like that management is trying to keep this place clean and safe.Changing my initial score from 1 to 5 stars. Well done!=====================================They are sending bill 1-2 days before the due date! Im living here almost 1 year and Im very upset about billing system. This is disgusting!I was on vacation and wanted to pay my bill, but a bill was not available online on residence portal and I did not receive any paper bill or email, so I called the leasing office. I tried 3 times and left 3 voice messages, nobody called me back! Then I sent an email with a request to provide me with the amount that I have to pay because payment due day is today. They answered me (with rude manner), that if the bill is not available, I have to pay the approximate amount in advance.I tried to explain that according to the US Federal Law, billing statements must be sent at least fourteen days before the payment is due (Fair Credit Billing Act enacted in 1974), but they just ignored my email. And this his happens every month.I would not recommend this apartment. They do not care about customers.

    Really blown away of the staff here, I lived at a few apt before and the staff is usually rude and dont care to be there but Nexus is very different. My move in went extremely smooth and was welcomed by a couple of neighbors which was awesome! Very proud to be apart of the Nexus community!

    It’s so nice to be able to walk over to one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants! Breakfast or snack at Rush Bowl, Epic Gelato, or Egg Farm. Or lunch/dinner at Mena’s, Craft Pies, or 1845 Taste Texas. Then grab a cookie or banana pudding at AshJenn bakery. Not only is it convenient, but also enjoyable. The amenities are great, the staff are wonderful, and maintenance is “Johnny on the spot!” We love our apartment community!

    The maintenance guys have always been great & they respond so fast! They tried to remove the birds nest way up high on my balcony. We couldnt even sit outside because of all the bird poop and constant birds. Unfortunately even after the maintenance man scraped the nest, the birds came back b/c part of the nest was still there. So I had to do my best to clean it up myself, which was very hard since its very high up and I was trying really hard not to fall to my death from 3 floors up. I hope the birds stay away now. EEEK!

    My husband and I have lived at Nexus Lakeside since June 2016 and we absolutely love it! The management changed a couple of months ago and it has been a very positive occurance. Truly, we have only experienced honest and great communication from the management/staff. Of course, to live in a luxury apartment complex there are stricter income requirements so we are assuming those who have left negative reviews might not have been accepted therefor are frustrated.We are planning to renew our lease and continue raising our son here! Def recommend Nexus Lakeside to anyone looking for an amazing community to be a part of. We are VERY happy residents!

    We moved to Texas January 2016 and my spouse job relocated us here, it was a big adjustment having to leave our family and not knowing anyone. Whenever, we came to visit Elan Lakeside everyone seemed very nice but after a few weeks the staff seems too busy for the tenants. Thought it was just me who felt this way but we later learned some of the staff was aware of the companys changes and upcoming new management.Well, its unfortunate some people mayve been affected by the changes but I absolutely adore the manager name Melanie Sanders and all of her new staff. Whenever I have questions or any concerns regarding the apartment Melanie and her staff reply immediately. Ive never felt more welcome and appreciated at these apartment til Melanie and the new staff came on board.Melanie is very professional and she absolutely ROCKS!!! This place has been a lot more clean and management changed for the better.

    I like living here so far. It’s been 4 months ish and I have no real complaints. The only thing I didn’t like is that maintenance came in my apartment without my permission and it wasn’t a mandated inspection or emergency. That made me pretty upset, but other than that this has been one of the better areas I’ve lived in.

    This is a good apartment complex, great location and maintained very well. The office staff and Melanie are quick to resolve any issues and do their best to make sure your stay here is as positive as possible. I also have 2 friends that live here and they completely agree.

    Very nice environment ( the lake , the forest ) , quiet for rest and lively and interesting for going out . Everything you need is close by . The neighbors are also all some nice people. here you can find what is invaluable in Texas and that is car parking in the shade!

    The office management is incredibly helpful and nice. When our mail wasnt getting delivered the office manager helped us to find out where is was going. I would absolutely recommend based on the friendly staff on their own, not to mention the beautiful townhouses and apartments.
