I recently had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful apartment complex, and I couldn’t be more impressed. The property itself is stunning, with well-maintained grounds, clean common areas, and a peaceful atmosphere. The apartments are spacious, modern, and designed with comfort in mind. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the property manager, Aimee. She is incredibly friendly, and professional. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about the residents and the community. Overall, this is a fantastic place, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming, well-managed environment.

Living here has been a great experience! The management team is super friendly and always on top of things, which makes everything so much easier. I had a great tour at 4001 Midtown! The office team was welcoming and the community was clean. I toured two two-bedroom homes—the first was nice, but once the agent understood my need for more living room space, he showed me a larger layout, and I fell in love! The tall ceilings, standup shower, spacious closets, and big patios with amazing city views really stood out. Overall, a great experience, and I appreciate the team for being so helpful!

I have lived at this property since 2018 each year since then it was going downhill. I just hate moving, after this last year. I was convinced I would have to move .. since 2018 we had a poolside apt .. The last few years every summer, the pool was green.. we finally got a big name to manage the property/Greystar … so thus far with this current iteration of management things have been running much more effectively… and I’m hopeful they will turn things around here and keep it going !! I previously had given this property a poor review and listed my issues as they were at that point .. however, the current team seems much more responsive and effective within their positions ! Aimee, the manager actually answers the phones and deals with residents /doesn’t just hide in her office and leave the front desks to take the brunt -Which is what I saw with past iterations! Corina/Michelle - I think same person - has also been very friendly and efficient and I think that this group actually helps each other and communicates better.. cause they are happier -And the new guy, Julian I think his name is .. when I have been sitting in the lobby, waiting to speak, I have seen him handle and deal with everybody very professionally… Which is also something that was lacking in the previous teams.But anyways, finally, after being in our original unit since 2018.. And living through all of the previous rental “ trials and tribulations” we decided to move into an upgraded version of our exact apt - the Luxe version - Has everything I was looking for in other properties, and instead of moving out of the building I just had to move two doors down on the same floor!! Couldnt ask for an easier move or upgrade. I’ll post pictures once we are all unpacked and settled-If you get the chance to check out the Luxe models - It’s worth a look if they have one available- stainless steel kitchen appliances, good flooring/better and brighter lights / ceiling fans in every room / nice upgraded primary bathroom/ better counter tops in kitchen and bath - Because for this area, the size of the apts/the location/ the price it is all pretty good ! I know, cause I have been out there looking for the past few months trying to decide where I was gonna move.And every property has its issues unique to it! I just finally feel hopeful for the years to come with Greystar owning the property and The current management teams efforts! Also shout out to Juan in maintenance- He is also very nice and was very efficient in handling my recent move-in maintenance requests/issues.

When I moved into my unit, the washer and dryer were not in great working condition and made my life very difficult for the first couple of months despite the maintenance orders that I put in.New management has taken over, and after they attempted the first time to fix things through maintenance, realized that it was not an easy fix and replaced both the washer and dryer in my unit without a fuss. Very grateful to Chanel for her help, pleasant and helpful staff.

I lived in this building for 11 years and its had its ups and its downs, but this management staff is definitely an up. I stayed in this building because its a great location, the units are large with great storage and I never hear my neighbors through these cement walls.I have been very impressed with the responsiveness and professionalism of the current staff. They make me feel welcome and valued. Maintenance staff is also awesome and friendly.

I also want to give recognition to Juliani as he has been incredible with my move and makes the process incredibly smooth- he is on top of his game. The managers are top notch and truly sees you as apart of a real community here, especially with all the fun events they host here. They always tend to maintaince. And they are beyond awesome. Not only one of my favorite places to live, but also a place where I can truly thrive.

This is not our first experience with maintenance and Nerio always does a thorough job to ensure you are happy with the repairs. He explains what he is doing and why despite a language barrier. I have lived here since 2021. I know of other tenants who have lived here for over 15 years. I personally have no plans of moving, unless I win the lottery because you cannot beat the location. You can be in six different places in the city within five minutes and you do not ever have to get on the freeway. HEB AND RANDALLS are both 1.5 miles away. Costco is a bit farther. My unit has cathedral ceilings and a separate standalone shower in addition to having a tub shower combo And it came with a full-size washer and dryer at no additional charge. I have tons of closet space and a large balcony and I love the pool. Also, I suspect that this property is part of the hospital Power grid as I never lost power during one single natural disaster this year.The current management are kind and professional and do not tolerate violence or unsafe behavior by tenants or their guests. Air BNB is not tolerated here either. Any maintenance issues I have ever had were taken care of in a timely manner and that includes my AC.Hurricane Beryl caused damage all over the city. The pool pump, which has now been fixed , was a casualty of the storm and damage from a natural disaster as well as supply chain issues is not the management‘s fault. My neighbors and fellow reviewers don’t grasp the concept of the pump and seals had to be special ordered. It’s not fair to blame, try and convict the current management for the gross mismanagement of their predecessors and the cheap ass former owner who refused to let them spend money on anything.In closing, this property is almost 300 units and takes up and entire city blocks. Amy, Jessica, Michelle, and Olivia along with the maintenance crew work tirelessly every day to ensure that we people who live here have a safe , clean, well-maintained environment to live in. I can assure you that they along with the maintenance crew are doing the absolute best that they can. If you have excessively high expectations of nonstop red carpet perfection maybe Houston overall just isn’t right for you.

This community has seen the bad, the ugly, and the good. With that being said, the prior manager, Corinna P. and leasing agents we able to find a common ground. They also set the stage to changes that were greatly needed. As as one of the residents speaking for our community and management team advocating in updating the community. I appreciate your hard work and listening to our concerns. This team has been there for those that could not do certain things, Melissa, thank you! I do not give five stars, but the changes that have taken place, we are all a work in progress. Greater is coming!We have now in place: valet trash, fob entry to the building on all levels, remote entry, a package room, update gym, and updated lobby. They are waiting on approval for other things for the community from the owners.

I fell in love with these apartment while scrolling on Marketplace on Facebook. I reached out to Ms Sinnette R. And made an appointment to view the apartment. I went the next day and the staff & the property manager Aimee, Olivia, Jessica, and Michelle was all helpful . I had the pleasure to work with Michelle and she showed me the unit and it was exactly everything that I saw online. I ended up getting approval and signing my lease with a week. Since I have move here a month later I have experienced nothing but great customer service from the office staff … and even after I got into the apartment Ms Sinnette still reach out from time to time . I love when I have a maintaince issue it’s taking care of in a timely fashion. The apartments is quite and peaceful and I love the apartments overall….

With a building that is 20 years old, you can expect some things to go wrong, but the upgrades and responsiveness make all the difference. The brief walk to Greentown Labs and Ion make my work life convenient.Nerio is my favorite maintenance man. I have lived here at Lucciola Midtown for several years. While it has not been without its issues, there has been major improvements, not only with the building but staff as well.The maintenance staff has been quick to address our service requests. Although, I rarely have any issues but when I do, both Augustine and Miguel are professional and demonstrate a level of care I have never experienced before from any maintenance personnel. I submitted several requests just recently on a Sunday and Miguel arrived the very next day and fixed everything. He was polite, efficient, and very knowledgeable.The office staff has also greatly improved. Deziree, Isabel and Ruth are super friendly and accommodating. It certainly is refreshing to have staff that actually care about the residents and have a sense of urgency to help you.

Update 6/4: I had no idea my little old review would get so many views. All of the issues have been addressed, and in the process of being resolved with swiftness and genuine care, and concern. Couldn’t ask for more.I feel the need to preface my review. I’ve thought hard on it, because I’m not one to do reviews. Buuut my mom moved in, 2019, 73 year old, widowed woman. A young 73. There’s been 4 management companies. Honesty, Greystone is the best one yet. Yes! It’s an older building. 2001. One of the most reasonably priced. They are nice, minus the outdated, 1990s kitchen, and love the floor plans.I give Greystone 5 stars.I give the building and infrastructure zero stars. -635 stars.With all that being said, the toilet in the master bedroom hasn’t worked properly since she moved in. Persistent issues. Always fixed. But freaking annoying. And for the last month, randomly, the top of the toilet doesn’t fill up with water which is what allows you to flush the toilet. I JUST figured out that if you shake the entire toilet, and wiggle the water line connection, it’ll fill up. At least it did that time. I put 2 empty gallon jugs in there for her to fill from the shower, take that heavy porcelain lid off, and pour 2 whole gallons of water in it all thru out the freaking day- just to flush the toilet. Really? 2024. America. Third world country much on this plumbing??? She needs a plumber. A professional one. Not a maintenance man.And I’m the only child of a widowed-mother. Do you know who’s problem that becomes? ✋🏼 So not on my watch Beloveds.

My mom lives at Lucciola, and had gotten sick recently. The property manager came to check on her residence when she was late instead of just ignoring a resident. The way that the staff has been so open and communicative has been so much easier on me and less stressful for my mom. They checked on her and even worked with her to make sure that her return home is as comfortable as it needs to be. You come across a lot of apartments in Houston where the staff just wants get you in and get out, but the amount of care that Lucciola gives to their residents is beyond a standard. It’s truly like a community. I really do feel better knowing that she’s there and the staff is perfect.

Midtown is not the safest part of town so security issues were present but for the most part I did not have any bad experiences and was never in harms way.The leasing agent Isabel was awesome and helped me and made the experience that much better. Isabel is very approachable and willing to assist whenever she can and I would recommend her 10/10 and she is definitely a bright spot on the team there at Lucciola.

I am a new resident and am very impressed with the present staff at Lucciola. Jasbir has recently taken over; her work ethic is admirable and she is doing a fantastic job. The people at the leasing office, Ruth, Deziree and Isabel, are always accommodating and try to fix issues promptly. The maintenance people, especially Miguel, are very reliable and efficient. Overall, the new management is taking strides in the right direction to ensure that all the residents can live here peacefully and safely.

The transition to the new property owners had been a bit rough but they are working hard to get the property back in shape. The management has improved drastically over the last few months. The front desk personnel are professional and friendly and Michelle, the manager, and Ruth, the leasing manager have been very responsive. They both have gotten back to me when promised and are working with the property owners to address issues. While not perfect, I am hopeful that this will once again be a nice place to live once all the improvements are completed. The location is convenient and close to the rail system, Herman Park, several museums, and the zoo.

I am only sharing my five stars because every single time I have issues Miguel has been a great helper. There are alot of issues with this place and we recently had our garage fully collapse and the entrance. I had many reservations about my safety and about all the dirt (concrete and what not) Miguel was great about getting that stuff removed and worked really hard! he let me know it was safe and did hard work to make sure that things were picked up from the ground. hes great!

I’m a new resident here and I love my apartment and the location. I applied for my very first apartment while I was working in another state. I chose my unit without actually seeing it because I went off the pics on their website. I did not know all the units were not updated, I was mostly interested in the price point and the square footage of the unit for a two bedroom two bath in midtown. Upon arrival I was not happy with my unit but apartment manager Jasbir broke down the difference in price of an updated unit and I understood why the price point on my unit was so attractive. So going with updated appliances was a better option than going with the updated unit. Ms. Jasbir addressed my concerns and convinced me to stay and it has been a pleasure to work with her throughout my transition here. My guy Miguel that services the Apartment’ came in promptly and immediately to fix any issues that I had with my unit and I thank him as well. I’m sure that my time spent here will be a great and memorable experience.

I had some issues with old management but now there are new management so they have been serving extremely since they got the management, I am thankful their respect and service for the community specially manager Jasbir, and she handle everything by one by each of our requests and solve if anything occurred same day or following day by with her professional team members. Also I really appreciate assistance manager Ruth also she handle everything with Jasbir in coordinate so this help community to live in peace. Recently I had some issues with my apartment and the maintenance man Miguel was very professional and very polite he fixed my ice maker on my fridge and fixed my shower along with fixing the leak under my sink in the kitchen, he works very fast and very efficiently. The maintenance here since the new ownership has been outstanding I’m positive that if I have any future problems Miguel will handle it.

Ive lived here for about 3 months now and I really enjoy it. I love coming home to my apartment and I havent had any issues since move in. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The space is great, especially considering the price and location. The few blocks surrounding the building are a little sketchy, but as long as you dont walk around at night alone its really fine. Anything you could possibly need is probably only a 10 minute drive away (max). The only thing I dont like about living here is the gym. Its pretty small and it has limited equipment. If theres more than three people working out at a time, it feels cramped. Theres almost never any water available and there are no workout mats, so you have to workout on the bare floor if you want to stretch or do any floor exercises. The highest dumbbell weight is only 35 lbs. There are also no wipes to clean the equipment when youre done. Other than that, I really love living here.

Along with Issabel and Desiree their courtesy towards tenants accommodations of expectations are high!! So come live with us at Luccola.

I really enjoyed living at Ventana. The price is fantastic for the location. Parking is also super simple and doesnt cost extra. The apartments are super spacious for what you pay. The kitchen is a little dated, but you get what you pay for. The apartment manager, Johnny, and maintenance team are wonderful! Johnny always answered my e-mails quickly and resolved my problems immediately. The apartment is a few blocks away from a huge homeless population, but they rarely come near the apartment. I walked my dog multiple times a day for 2 years and I rarely ran into homeless. If youre looking to move into an apartment for the amenities, this definitely wouldnt be it as the gym has pretty old equipment and is small. The pool is decent, but its not heated so its super cold to swim in. One other small complaint was that the hallways do smell really bad and so does the elevator. Its probably just time they replace the carpet/flooring. Despite the problems, I still think the complex deserves 5-stars. I always felt safe and was happy to call Ventana my home. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here! It wasnt perfect but it was good.Update: We had some issues with our security deposit and it took over 2 months after out move out to hear from the complex. Not sure what that was all about. From my understanding, the complex really does care about you while youre a resident, but doesnt after youve moved out. From this experience, I changed my rating to 4-stars. It was still great living there while we did, but it was a hassle dealing with the complex post-move out.

I lived here for two years. From 2012-2014. This is definitely by far the best apartments I have ever lived in. The location was perfect. Staff was great - very responsive. Maintenance was always timely. My AC once did not work and they quickly put me in a guest suite that same day for two nights. I lived alone in a one bedroom - and never heard any noise. I was on second floor. The only reason I left was because I got a job offer in Seattle I couldnt turn down.I recommend this complex. :)

The maintenance staff here is prompt, and knows what they are doing. Previous ownership has done a lot of “band-aid” repair work in the past but not this time. Our A/C went out, for the 4th time since we’ve lived here. Miguel went above and beyond to make our issue a priority. He communicated first thing the following morning, and instead of putting a band-aid on it, he opened the A/C unit, diagnosed the problem, replaced the motor and blower, and had everything working again in 1 hour. I highly recommend Miguel for any handyman services!

I lived here for one year. Personally I think the location is great as it borders the medical center, Montrose, downtown, its in midtown. There is a rail stop walking distance from the apartment which is really handy if you work in the medical center or downtown, you can avoid those high monthly parking costs. While there are homeless in the area I never felt unsafe. I like my apartment because it was really big, I got a lot for what I was paying. The walls are of concrete so that really minimizes the noise from the neighbors. If your apartment is first or second floor and it faces fannin st be aware that there will be road noise, that was the biggest drawback. Office staff is okay, they always responded right away if there was something that needed to be fixed.
