    Young new guy Mario showed up quickly after my call in, was polite, courteous, very competent as it took him only a few minutes to replace a part - one of the best things about him he always seems to have a big smile on his face, seems very eager to help and very happy to be here doing this job. Great employee! Hope he is with us for a long time - a great hand for Julio too. Thanks much!

    The maintenance people are outstanding. They quickly examined the problem with the A/C and promptly fixed the problem. Kudos to Mario and the other team members, your professional and courteous description of what he was going to do and within 10 - 15 minutes my A/C was working perfectly. The staff at Woodside Manor makes this a great community to live in.

    My husband and I have been looking at Senior Communities and scheduled an appointment at Woodside Manor with Laura. We were treated great, all our questions were answered and even some we did not think about. Laura was very friendly and helpful. Liked the fact that the community is one story and parking is by residence, very helpful for seniors. If you are looking at senior living definitely check them out. I never stated in this review that we moved here. We do not live here.

    Mario came yesterday and changed our AC filter. Took the extra step to take the grill outside and brush accumulated dust off. Very much appreciated. Great mtnce service!!

    Desperately needs more parking that is easily accessible to your apartment unit.Landscaping definitely needs improvement. So many dead bushes and a few trees that have been left in the ground for well over a year.Maintenance crew is great.problems dealt with in a timely manner.Office personnel Very helpful.

    Maintenance men always do a good job. Mario had the problem fixed quickly. He was very polite and friendly. He was in and out in less than 2 minutes.

    Julio is the man! The night before major surgery, my AC went out - and of course, it was after hours. Julio was there in record breaking time to get this place cooled down. Coming home from the hospital, it was the same problem. AC went out 88 degrees inside and now Im not able to walk around.....so called again. Julio put in a window unit to get me cool until a new unit can be ordered and installed. Thank you Julio!!!Gracias mi amigo!!

    I dont live here yet ~ but I hope to soon. Laura was so sweet and informative. Answered all my questions. Gave me a tour of the property and a vacant apt. It is a very peaceful community. Very well kept grounds and apts. As a senior I feel this will be a safe, quiet community with tons of amenities for me. Easy access to HEB and everything I need.

    Maintenance checked the microwave and found that I only had the popcorn function working, they worked on it and it is working better than it was when I moved in last year. Thank you so much for the quick response and the fix!

    I used to live in Conroe for 24 years but recently I moved in with my son and family. Only The weather is Treacherous Always freezing And Snowing. And I Need To Move Back To Conroe, Unfortunately Everywhere I Call There’s A Waiting List. I’m Now On The Wait List At Woodside And I Just Hope When It’s My Turn I Get Accepted. I Have Never Seen The Inside, I Looked On Line. I Love the wooden floors, and the kitchen. I also Love All The Amenities They Have and how clean the grounds are kept. I Thank You Ms. Laura Ms. Tonya And Mr. Herman. For All Your Help

    Nicest apartment and best staff of any Ive ever lived in my 59 years. The ladies in the office are friendly & always have a smile on their face and the maintenance men stay on top of it...the few times Ive had to call in over 4 years, they were here the same day & only the next day if you reported your problem late in the day, and even then, theyd try their best to get to you the same day. As for the post below about bugs...I think these people who wrote that post have Woodside Manor confused with another complex. Ive never seen one bug in over 4 years.

    This looked like a peaceful place to live. The grounds looked clean and cared for. I am on the waiting list and am looking forward to living there in future. Sadly the waiting list for the 2 bedroom/2 bath is long.

    I moved to Conroe Texas from Ohio two years ago after a near fatal car accident which left me unable to walk when I first arrived to Conroe. I moved into Woodside Manor in April of 2014, I moved into a most beautiful, clean, well kept apartment and surrounding property. In the two years I have been here recovering I have used the beautiful pool area every day, twice a day to rebuild my hip and leg strength, I am now able to walk ( I often still use a walker) however the pool being here was a big part of my recovery. The area is lovely to walk through, dotted with creative gardens, tree lined drives, and surrounding woods.I have since married, my husband and I are extremely happy here. The apartment is comfortable and well designed. Every need from changing air filters, checking air conditioning unit, to help changing bulbs to high for us to reach is met immediately and courteously by the maintance staff.There have been opportunities for bible studies, creative writing classes which I was approved to teach. I am also starting a book club this fall.One is encouraged to share their individual skills in offering courses to other seniors.The office is staffed with courteous individuals always willing to listen and help solve problems.The property is well kept, the apartments well kept as well as the pool area and community room where monthly pot lucks are enjoyed. Neighbors are friendly, my husband and I feel completely safe here and often take late night, early morning walks or swims or time in the hot tub without fear. Having a front door opening to our own garden, front porch and lawn as well as a back door opening to a deck large enough for a large grill we use a lot, two rocking chairs, we also have an umbrella and picnic table to enjoy outside dining in the cooler part of the day. Having a front and back door opening to our own separate patios really makes us feel we are in our own home.What else can I say: We are home!I am not sure why there have been others writing more negative reviews of Woodside Manor. Remember where ever you move you take yourself with you so maybe that has been the problem.

    I am a senior citizen looking for an apartment that I can afford. I went to Woodside Manor in Conroe Texas which is for 55 years and up.Laura helped me with all of the paperwork, showed me around the project with all the awesome amenities, and showed me a vacant apartment. She was amazing and the complex is beautiful and I will be moving in the middle of July. Thank you for all of your help Laura! This post should be from Karol Conley not my grandson Kole

    I am very happy to be living in a place that is awesome and caring for the people that live here at Woodside Manor . I gave a work order one day and the next day it was taken care of. The workers and staff are irreplaceable. Thank you 😊 Woodside Manor.

    Very well kept grounds and building, has staff garbage pickup up and repaors,lawn service. Apartments very spacious for the monthly fee. Allows pets under 30 pds.,monthly fee. Has some organized events. Garages for rental and good parking for all a gated communited.i would live here if I moved back to Houston.
