    We recently toured Edgewater Apartments with Willans Peralta, and he was absolutely the best! His energy was contagious, and itā€™s clear he genuinely loves his job. He was incredibly friendly, easy to talk to, and very transparent throughout the tour. The management team was also fantasticā€”super energetic and welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The apartment itself was great, and weā€™re definitely considering making Edgewater our new home!

    The whole Edgewater team is amazing minus Journey since heā€™s leaving :(. But all jokes aside I love this community. Darmary is the SWEETEST Assistant Manager Iā€™ve ever met. She will ensure to give top communication to residents. And maintenance is quick to respond SAME DAY to requests.

    Ive been here for almost a year and am planning on upgrading apartments and signing for another year here!Its so clean, quite, and safe.The office staff has always been so kind and helpful.I love the fact that what you see as the rent is exactly what you pay. Theres no weird hidden charges or extra fees. You get your own parking spot , so theres no stress of wondering if there is going to be a place to park after work.Im happy that I found a place to call home.

    The Edgewater has been my home for the last 5+ years.The community is very nice. I lived in building 2 with the lake front view. I loved all the wildlife and the ducks all year round.The property is well maintained, and the walking trail is a plus.I also loved the reserved covered parking spot and free pet rent.The Maintenace team was always very response to requests, friendly, and made time to answer and questions that I had about a problem.Move out was very easy with no crazy fees being owed etc. Deposit was refunded back within a responsible amount of time after moving out.The Stern Apartment is very spacious with large walk-in closets and front entry way closet.I am going to miss the lake front view. I would definitely recommend the Edgewater Apartments to anyone looking for an apartment.

    Here is the real story for the variation in reviews,When we first moved in it was fantastic and the managers were awesome. They had summer cookouts and they were second to none. Phenomenal group.Sadly the head manager left to manage other apartments. And they brought in a young woman, though eager and inexperienced, she lacked basic customer service skills and the rapport to build with people. During this time there was a high turnover rate in the office and tenants were leaving left and right.February of this year they brought Abby back and she has done a phenomenal job of turning things around. Plus the staff she has now is great too. The staff is happier, the tenants are happier and these are great apartments again. Thus the great reviews again.So here is an honest assessment from our experience there:Pros: Great maintenance team, they are second to none. Very clean parking lot. Friendly staff and beautiful lake views. Great area low crime. The staff cares and really looks out for the residents. (Again any negative review prior to February 26, 2024 is because of the lack of customer service skills and professionalism of the previous regime).Cons: after you move out do not expect the deposit back. I do not blame the staff, but the carpets are white and unless you have rugs or shampoo, the carpet will be replaced and you will be charged. But not only will you not get the deposit, but you will get a large bill and be sent to collections within two weeks. Unless you have the $800 or more you will be sent to collections fast. Literally a few weeks after move out.To be fair the collection company will give you a payment option but know the bill is in collections.With that said. Overall a great experience, but if you can get an option with no carpet take it.

    To those of whom this may concern- The Edgewater Apartment complex is hands down one of the most comfortable communities I have ever had the privilege of experiencing. From the moment the leasing staff greets you, there is an undeniable feeling of being welcome and valued. Brissa in the office ensured that I had all of the pertinent information to make an informed decision, and I could not be more thrilled about the opportunity to rent an apartment here!Pricing and information is thorough, fair, and upfront, the floor plans are phenomenal, and the amenities are FANTASTIC!     Loved everything about living here! Great views of the creek with the sunset was one of my favorites! Sadly I moved away for about 3/4 year but I plan on moving back and I couldnā€™t be more excited. Staff is always up to work and management is very professional in all aspects!!

    Iā€™m here to express my experiences so far in Edgewater apartments, there are many good things here, I am very satisfied with management team they are well responsive and the best thing is maintenance team takes very short time to complete the maintenance requests. I feel itā€™s very safe with gated system and lake side view is one of the best partšŸ˜Š, I like all the facilities they provide like gym, poolā€¦ and the timings for those are very comfortable to utilize them at full.     Iā€™ve lived at Edgewater for almost 2 years and had a great experience. The maintenance team is always fast and I feel like itā€™s a very safe place to live. The towing company is quick so you have to be careful about visitors registering their cars. Iā€™ve had no issues with the management team and overall had a nice experience. The apartments are nice and very spacious, mine even has a fireplace which is wonderful!

    I dont live here but my nephew does and I visit them all the time. A very friendly staff that helped me learn how to register my car. I was talking to a very nice young man named Elijah who cleaning the pool and I learned this one of the few places in Lewisville to pass the pool inspection! How cool. I loved seeing someone take so much pride in his work. If I was moving, Id move here in a heartbeat.

    The Edgewater apartments are great!! We have been here for over a year and we love it! The maintenance team is always quick and gets the job done! The management team is very responsive and always nice to residents. The apartments are beautiful and very spacious and affordable! The area is beautiful with a creek and lake near by! Great place to live and we love it here!

    I enjoy my apartment home at Edgewater. The things I like the most are the lovely clean calm decor of the interior, the large bathtub/shower, two big walk in closets, the nature trail surrounding the complex with walks along the creek and lake. I see a lot of herons and ducks on my walks. I like the secure package pickup and security gate. Abigail was extremely helpful in securing me a place on very short notice and then helping me get up to speed on the apps.

    Always look forward to seeing my maintenance men around the complex! Iā€™m alittle bit of a older gentleman and canā€™t get out of the complex much so I spent most of my time walking up and down the lots of the complex, and the young men down in the maintenance department, never hesitate to say hello to me, and inquire about how my days been! I canā€™t tell you how much joy that brings me on a daily basis, thank you guys for keepin our property clean, and keep up the good work

    I just moved out after living here about 4 years.All in all it is a nice safe place. Military friendly as I was able to get out of my lease for a deployment in 2016 hassle free. The maintenance has always been stellar!, however I did have one major maintenance issue that was not my fault, and I feel it could have been handled a little better. The office staff is generally accommodating. Parking isnt bad, and they have a decent system in place for visitors. The new smart package delivery system is kind of nice, and they are pet friendly although the new pet DNA sampling is a bit too strict for my tastes. Never had an issue with rent payments and all requirements were fairly clear and concise. Not a perfect, but definitely nice apartment complex. I recommend.

    Iā€™ve lived here for 8 months and I love these apartments!! Maintenance keeps the grounds clean and if I ever have any issues, maintenance is there the same day.     If youā€™re thinking about making Edgewater apartments your new home, itā€™s the best decision Iā€™ve made. The leasing agents were very warm and welcoming! They were knowledgeable and very efficient when it came to my situation. When I had a problem, maintenance was quick and efficient when responding! The apartments are well kept! And the grounds are always well kept! The gates are always locked so I feel safe being a single mom with younger kids.

    Super happy with Univesco. Like any apartment complex you may run into maintenance issues, but they will without a doubt do their best to resolve it quickly. The property manager Brandy is top notch. Shes fair and kind and a huge advocate for her residents. The apartments are great value for size and location. Ive never had any problems with parking. If youre looking for a affordable resident friendly property, this would be a good one!

    My wife and I have had a GREAT experience living at Edgewater for the past couple of years! The staff are so nice. Weve always felt safe here. Parking is somewhat limited, and they have a strict process for signing in visitors which keeps long-term guests from taking up resident parking spaces; its always made me feel safer, if Im being honest. The complex is very pet-friendly, if thats your thing, and they have a long sidewalk by a scenic creek with plenty of waste-bag-dispensers and trash cans for keeping the area clean while you walk your dog. This, plus the dog DNA requirement, has kept the grass and grounds clean. Their front office has consistently been attentive, courteous, and -- at least in our experience -- prompt to resolve issues. One time, our upstairs neighbors didnt follow move-out procedures for disconnecting their washer, and our apartment was flooded, including our ceiling, walls, floors, etc. Management and maintenance were very quick to resolve the issue, and things were handled very satisfactorily. Their maintenance staff is a hard-working group of guys who clearly care about the residents; they are prompt to handle issues, in our experience. A few of these reviews talk about the gates, and yes the gates are sometimes a little temperamental, but really its nothing abnormal for apartment complexes. Edgewater also recently added a Parcel Pending mail room with an automated locker system for receiving packages, and weve had no problems with it. Weve never had trouble with pests, bugs, or anything, and weve been on the first floor near a creek; thats saying something! Usually, most apartments by a body of water have bug issues after a storm, but we have NOT had that problem here, ever! All in all, 5-Stars review for Edgewater! Wed live here again in a heartbeat!

    I have lived here for 4 years now. Overall, this is a great place to live. For the area it is in, it is fairly affordable. Maintenance is always quick to respond and the office staff is friendly. My a/c went out a year after moving in but they worked hard to fix it fast. Personally I have not had a pest problem. They have a visitor parking system which is a bit annoying and I still sometimes worry about cars being towed. I understand why they have it though. I still recommend this community šŸ™‚

    Awesome complex!!!1st off I want to say this place is amazing, and the location is great. I went looking for something a little bigger than my one bedroom apartment in Frisco, and stumbled across this gem. I found this place in the middle of a pandemic, and management/ leasing agents were friendly and accessible for all my questions and concerns. Also. Maintenance is very very responsive and knowledgeable. Never did this team of people complain or question any of my concerns and handled me respectfully and quickly.     I have lived here over 10 years now! have enjoyed it. The management and maintenance have always been good to me. Even after I got flooded out of my apartment from the winter storm.     I lived at this apt complex for 3 years and I really enjoyed it! The apartments are well maintained and taken care of. The office staff and the maintenance guys are great. They really take care of you and make sure to fix any maintenance issues right away. The parking isnā€™t the best as their isnā€™t an over abundance of parking spots, and they do tow, so make sure to follow the parking guidelines. If you are a visitor, make sure to check in right away so you donā€™t get towed! They also have events throughout the year to get to know other neighbors and the staff. Overall, this is a great apt complex and I would definitely live here again!

    My boyfriend and I moved into the Edgewater Apartments back in 2011 and only moved recently because we bought a house. Susan was our leasing agent and was always fantastic the very few times we needed to contact the office. Maintenance was always super prompt when we needed them for AC issues that came up maybe 2 or 3 times. We feel so grateful to have been lucky to call such a nice, quiet place home for as long as we did. Our move out was totally painless and unlike some other people we know who have lived in other complexes the Edgewater didnā€™t ā€œnickel and dimeā€ us whatsoever! Weā€™re happy to finally have a house of our own but weā€™re definitely going to miss the Edgewater staff, thank you for a wonderful 9 years :)

    My Daughter and her boyfriend live here. They have made a very nice place for the two of them to live. The complex has a security gate to drive your vehicle through and a locked gate you will need a code to walk through.The apartment has wood floors and marble counter tops. The bathrooms are nicely appointed and a descent size.It is conveniently located close to highway 35 and shopping Strip malls and Music City mall.

    Dillion at the front office is amazing, hes so personable and considerate when speaking with you. Ive recently had a few maintenance requests needed at my apartment and he has been fantastic at staying in communication with me throughout the process and not getting frustrated when I call to ask for an ETA. This will be going into my third year at this apartment and the staff has always been so sweet and quick when Ive needed them. Thank you for all you do!

    My husband and I are looking to move into a new place once our lease is up at the end of the year. Me being a big planner like I am I wanted to feel my options. The leasing consultant, Dillion was such a huge help. He answered every question I had and already made me feel like this would be a perfect fit for us. He sent me photos of the property which looked very well kept and the inside looks spacious. I have definitely put these apartments on the top of our list to move into once our lease is up!

    I love living here! When I walk in to the Leasing Office, Susan and Anna know and call me by name, and always remember which unit I live in. They even comment if they havent seen me recently. The maintenance staff is fantastic and keeps trying until they find a solution to any problem in a unit. They also make it a priority to do preventative maintenance to catch issues before they become problem. As a resident, I feel known and valued.

    Great place to live!! The girls in the office are amazing, the maintenance guys are awesome and the other tenants are great too. The apartments are updated, pretty quiet and reasonably priced.     I have lived here for one and half years, and love it. The staff Christie, Susan, Hannah have always been friendly and professional. Maintenance is always done within 1 or 2 days at the most. Ive lived in a lot of different apts and the this is the best place to live as far as friendly staff and maintenance getting done quickly. I would recommend this apt complex to anyone.

    We just signed our 10th lease over here. Yes we would have lived here for a decade by the end of next year. This is our third apartment here so that explains how satisfied we are with them. We have seen many managers and managements come and go but they all worked with us whenever there was a need. We even had a fire incident once and they showed so much compassion in transferring to different unit quickly. Obviously there are rules and regulations that one needs to follow and the places that dont have them, would be chaotic for sure. We feel safe and comfy even after having two kids here. The location is great since pretty much everything is 5-10 mins away. Would definitely recommend living here.

    New move update, Mar 2021: Again, the people at edgewater apartments, Dillion especially, have made the moving process a breeze. Always checked to make sure everything was ready so we could avoid any headache. Kept the paperwork nice and simple, and have helped with any questions I had. Would recommend!I have lived here for a year and it has been good. Never any issue with management, any maintenance request was handled right away.     We just signed a lease with the Edgewater. The experience couldnt have been better! Marina was our contact and she was absolutely fabulous. She was accommodating, friendly and so helpful. We met a few of the residents last night and they seemed great! We are so excited to be here :)The security and deposits were completely reasonable and 100% refundable (we paid for two pets as well). This was by far the easiest and friendliest front office Ive ever been to!

    This apartment complex is by far the best I have ever been at. I just signed another 6 month lease and have currently been here for 2 years. The management is very helpful, they have gone way out of their way to help my family out. I highly recommend this complex to everyone. I do not understand the negative reviews, I have never experienced anything I have read about in these reviews. This complex has rules just like all apartment complexes do and if you follow them you will not have any problems. Please do not let these false reviews pursuade you to not try it as you will miss out on a wonderful place to live. I would like to personally thank Susan and Nicole for everything they have done for me and my family. I currently live in the same building as Susan and it has been a very good experience. Maintenance work orders are dealt with extremely fast and always correct the first time. My deposits have always been returned complete. This complex even changes your light bulbs and filters for you. To the edgewater team: Thank you very much for doing all that you do, it is very much appreciated.My son passed away this year at the age of 12 and they were very compassionate and helped me get through this difficult time.

    My family moved in here about 2 1/2 years now. The location is great .From the moment we walked in the leasing office we have been treated with respect and kindness . Ms. Susan has been soooo sweet and Randy as well. They treat my kids so well. When I had back surgery the office people where so supportive. Maintenance is on point! If I put a maintenance request in they take care of it in a timely manner. They are very respectful of you, your family, and your home. The ground are always maintained and they have a process to make sure residents and guests of residents are the only ones taking up the parking spaces. The apartment is layed put great, I have a 2 bed & 2 bath apartment. Love the school that the kids attend. Your so close to any and everything you could need but yet its always so quite you dont feel like youre in the middle of everything . All in all we love this place!!!

    The Edgewater is a pretty good apartment complex. The staff always remembers my name or at least who I am (were all human) even though I rarely stop by the leasing office. Staff is friendly and willing to go beyond the usual person to help resolve my concern or issue (hardly have any). When we have a maintenance request, it usually is fixed the next, if not, the same day. We understand there are other neighbors who may have more pressing needs so if it takes longer than a day, they will explain. Maintenance seems to always be at work & respectable guys when they interact with you. I havent had to request the same issue to be fixed multiple times. So I will say the maintenance team does know what they are doing. The community is relaxing. Hardly ever hear loud music at odd hours or see any unsavory characters roaming around. There are kids who play outside so at least the community proves you can trust your kids outside without a ton of supervision. Overall, Id recommend the Edgewater to people. Some may have better experiences than others but thats with anything. The staff will have events to bring people together & earn money or prizes so this further adds to a reason to pick the Edgewater. If I could give 4.5 stars I would, but that .5 would be because we live on the 3rd floor but that was all that was available for our family at the time. Other than that, Id gladly recommend the Edgewater.

    I called Edgewater Apartments in search of a new Apartment Home. I had the pleasure of speaking with Dillion whom was very knowledgeable and very respectful. I was able to go in person to view the property and a unit. Again had the pleasure of Dillion assisting me. This property is gorgeous and very well kept. The units are very spacious and very modern and up to date on renovations. I love the fact that the pool is open year round and the fitness center is open 24 hours. Dillion assisted me from start to finish. I viewed the property and completed my application late on a Friday and was approved the next morning. The customer service I received was amazing. Thank you Dillion for me and my girls new home!!!!

    After looking at a few apartments in the area we were super discouraged and were considering moving further outside of DFW and eating the commute time. My fiance asked me to look at one more apartment before we moved on to other areas. Im so glad that we did. Dillon was so great when he gave us an apartment tour. Hands down best tour weve been on in the four months weve been apartment hunting. This is the first community that I was excited to apply for. No pet rent, a reasonable pet deposit policy, grounds that are clean and well kept, plus a super responsive and attentive office staff. Even if we dont get an apartment here (waiting on our floorplan to become available), this experience completely changed my opinon and outlook on apartment hunting. If youre booking a tour ask for Dillon, hes seriously wonderful. Even post tour weve talked to Dillon twice and every interaction has been stellar.

    Ive lived here for 2 years now and in my 3rd apartment due to my living arrangements changing. Ive dealt with a few problems but management has always taken care of me. The ladies in the office have always been really nice to me and do a great job.I would reccomend these apartments to anyone looking for a place to live

    If you are going by the reviews here on Google I would say look at the recent ones. IT seems there was a change in the office team. We moved in August, 2014. We have had a great experience so far. Yes, you only get one parking spot (other places charged for a covered spot) and you have to park any other vehicles in the unassigned spaces, yes there are loud people (it is an apartment), but we have had no issues with the management. They have been helpful, the maintenance requests are taken care of usually within an hour, but certainly within the day, the staff is friendly, and the apartments are nice.I would be very comfortable suggesting this place to any of my friends. If you come tell them I sent you!

    This apartment complex is so amazing! Everything is up to date. The pool is nice and the community is pretty! The view from the balcony is just gorgeous. Dillion did an amazing job showing us around the complex and was super nice and funny! Iā€™m excited to be staying here!!!

    Solid apartment complex, it could be better but it also could be much worse. Im more of the solitary type, so Im definitely on the side of the spectrum thats more passive with regards to apartment ordeals. That aside Ive only had to make one maintenance request for a ceiling fan whos motor stopped functioning, and they came within a couple of days while I was at work and got it fixed.Overall the inside quality of the apartment units is more or less a 7/10, bug issues are what you make them, and if you live dirty you will have bugs. Ive been living on the first floor, and after putting down some glue-traps as well as some sweep weather rubber stripping onto the bottom of the outer doors Ive had no bug issues at all. Moreover Id imagine the second and third story apartment units having very little bug issues if any at all. The only big gripes Ive come across during my stay here is the diminishing of the counter-top furnish; throughout the kitchen and bathroom theres definitely an apparent wear of this furnish from past tenants, and its a lot harder to clean and maintain these counter-tops as a result. On the positive side I will definitely say that the wall baseboards are a nice touch to the overall apartment, they give it a nice clean look.Other than the counter-tops Im satisfied, just be prepared to invest in copious amounts of bug spray if you wanna use your patio, as there are mosquitoes everywhere given the humid environment and close body-of-water proximity.(10/08/20)EDIT: I wanted to add on a bit to my review after reading through some of the other reviews here. Some have complained about the occasional garbage smell, however this apartment complex among many others nearby are all less than a mile or two away from the Lewisville Dump. This doesnt mean that it always smells like garbage, however if it rains its definitely more than likely. If this sort of thing is problematic for you then Id look elsewhere, however theres a reason why these apartments are pretty decent looking and at an affordable price, the land is likely to be cheaper as well.Aside from this the only other griefs Ive had similar to other reviewers is the questionable safety of the area, and some unpleasant experiences with the disgruntled office admin Susan. My roommates car has been broken into 3 - 4 times over the past two years (although each time no windows were broken, which is odd), not helping the matter the apartments entry gates can often be found out of order and ajar. I dont reach out to the apartment very much except for work orders concerning appliances, but each time Ive had a run-in with the apartment it seems to involve their office admin Susan. It could just be her old age but it feels as if she has to put her own personal judgements and emotions into every encounter, a situation could be aimed at something entirely unrelated to her as a person and shed still find a way to inflict her judgement. Furthermore living in close proximity to her has been a pain, she doesnt beat around the bush in leaving notes on everyones doors detailing the smallest infractions regarding patio furnishings. My neighbors have received some ridiculous warnings, and Ive personally received a couple for just the most obscure items ranging anywhere from my patio table to some festive hanging lights I put up around the holidays. To top it all off a while back I was able to catch her in the process of putting up the notes, so I decided to walk over to other nearby apartment building units to check if this was something they were enforcing apartment-wide. It was no surprise that the only apartment building unit she seemed to be infatuated over was the one she lived in, so for all new tenants Id err on the side of caution when moving into an apartment unit in close proximity to Susan.

    MY husband and I moved here from Arlington in June 2013, without really having much experience or knowledge of Lewisville. We were warmly welcomed by Susan on our first visit. She was very kind, and very understanding of all of our concerns and issues weve had with past apartments. My husband and I have great credit, and a clean rental history, we were not denied like the other reviewer comments (Rahul Patil, sorry). We did NOT put down a full months rent as deposit. It was close to $200 but I dont recall the actual amount. It was REASONABLE. And the application fee was $50 because we were married, NOT unreasonable either.We signed a lease for 6 months in a 1/1 facing Lakeside Dr on the 2nd floor. We never had an issue with neighbors, they were all wonderful and very friendly. I also really loved having Susan live in the building with us, because if there was ever an issue then I could easily reach out to her without having to wait until she was in the office.We did deal with Colby, as the older posters mentioned, but he is no longer working there. I believe Nicole took his place and she is a delight! The entire Edgewater staff is just wonderful, even the maintenance workers, they are great, always on time, and quick with their work orders.After our 6mo lease, we decided to renew for another 6months because we had such a great experience. To be honest, the ONLY reason we moved out July 1 2014, was because we purchased a home. I will and have recommended these apartments to all of my friends in the area, and if we ever need to go back to an apartment in the future that is where we will be going back to.I honestly dont know what these negative reviews are about. Well, except for the bugs one. That lady isnt very bright. Pest control did come every Thursday, and yes of course shes going to have bug problems, the apartments back up to a pond without any type of fence to block bugs, spiders, snakes, ducks, herons, and other migratory beautiful birds. If you cant deal with that, then get an apartment not facing the pond, OR go up a flight of stairs. Do NOT discredit this apartment complex because of these negative reviews.Seriously! Go check it out! It is a WONDERFUL place to call home.

    I worked with Susan on getting me exactly what I wanted and she came through. Everything came together and not everyone will have a great out come. The negative remarks are never good but my experience was great and at my old place I had to give a 60 day notice so I really took a gamble. One thing I would say is DO NOT judge the complex on the websites pictures you have to come in and see for yourself. Susan, thank you again for everything you are a SUPER STAR!

    It has been a month since I moved in and I gotta tell you how much I LOVE this apartment!What brought me here is the location, so let me comment on that... I have two careers, both which take me all over the metroplex. As a Senior Accounts Representative for a major medical supply company, I have to check on hospitals in twelve counties, in ALL directions. This location is ideal: just two minutes away from I-35E, with easy connections to George Bush or Hwy 121, and just 10 minutes north of 635/LBJ. I can be on my way quickly, AND I miss all that traffic going north over the Lewisville bridge. Another one of my big considerations was that I wanted to live in a deregulated area so I could pick my own electric provider. Since my other career is Ambit Energy, I get a great low rate (FREE electricity every month!) which means I can afford an upgraded apartment and still not incur additional cost. That was doubly-cool!As far as the feel of it all, what drew me in was the water. The lakes around here are a nice touch because you dont feel like you are in the city. In fact, my ground-floor apartment is very close to the spray fountain, which I was delighted to discover even lights up at night! I love to entertain, and the fountain is the first thing my guests notice. Its nice to sip coffee off the back porch and just enjoy the soothing water fountain and the quiet green belt / grassy slope down to the lake. Many times I wake up to the sound of wildlife on the water.The amenities are great! There are so many, but these are noteworthy:* Covered parking: EVERY other place charges extra for that every month.* 9-foot ceilings: Great for hanging my bikes in the big walk-in closets. It makes the apartment seem much roomier too.* For a reasonable cost, I went ahead and splurged to get a couple of custom-color accent walls. This makes my apartment seem much more like a comfortable home.* Gardens in back: Anyone of ground level is allowed to plant their own flowers and plants off the back porch. THAT is really cool! Many neighbors make it very much like a regular neighborhood.* Ive used the jacuzzi once and also the gym. Its pretty decent although I wish you had a DVD player so I can do P90X there instead of in my living room.* Love having a real fireplace again. My son and I love burning real wood, especially as the holidays approach.* I can keep my big steel grill right on the back patio. That was important to me.* My dog, Chester, loves the dog-park just 10 minutes away, and the daily walks around the bike trail.* Built in shelves for books and nick-nacks. New countertops and garbage disposal (my last two places didnt). Even the tubs are extra big.What cemented the deal for me was the reasonable rate. Im not kidding when I tell you I checked out 22 other places in the Lewisville / Carrollton, Lake Dallas area. The Edgewater is less than 80% of the competition. For all this, I feel like Im getting a sweet deal! On moving day, they saved me $200 on my first months rent (THANK YOU!) which helped pay for the movers you recommended (who also, by the way, did a great job! Those guys were strong and quick!). My apartment was immaculate on move-in day. And the welcome gift basket was a very nice touch.To be fair, I wish my kitchen and laundry area were a little bigger, and the outside storage closet is pitifully small and shallow. But when I had a couple of minor maintenance issues, the guys were very quick and professional in touch-ups, and very courteous. All-in-all, VERY SATISFIED!Both before when I was single and now that I am sadly separated from my wife, I have had occasion to live in a number of apartments. But I gotta tell you, this is easily the nicest apartment I have ever lived in. And I have no intention of moving again until I buy my own house.
