This is my second time as a resident here. After relocating from Colorado, I didnt have much time to look for a place, so when I saw that Summerstone had availability, I quickly submitted my application. A little over a month ago, I began to experience some issues with the heat in my unit. After a few attempts to resolve the issue, the maintenance team was finally able to identify and fix the problem.I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the staff at Summerstone Apartments for their hard work and dedication in resolving my issue and addressing my concerns in a timely manner. I especially acknowledge Ms. Irenes willingness to go above and beyond. She is always sweet, kind, and professional. The maintenance crew is consistently quick to resolve any issues, whether it’s a running toilet or problems with the A/C and heat. While this is an older property and things may come up from time to time, I can confidently say that the staff here is amazing! For me, the positives definitely outweigh the negatives.P.S. I just wish we had a gas grill—I would be out there cooking steaks, burgers, and brauts all summer! 😂 -

Summerstone Apartments has become my new home and it seems to be a very nice place to live. After living at Summerstone Apartments for one month I can honestly say that it is the best apartment complex in the HEB area for me. I love the unique shape of the apartment, the dimensions, and probably the best part of the apartments are the screens on the windows. No one can see into the apartment even if the blinds are open. I have never seen window screens like this before, but I absolutely love the uniqueness of them. Kudos to the person who came up with these screens.If anyone is looking for a new home in the HEB area, stop by Summerstone Apartments on L. Don Dodson Drive and check them out. -

I came to this community after some poor experiences/communication with management at other apartment complexes and/or being quoted a rental amount higher than was listed online. Irene was very welcoming, provided all the information I needed regarding available apartments meeting my criteria, and gave me an impromptu tour of what ended up becoming my actual apartment! I love the peacefulness of the community, the trees and greenways, the huge patios, and the convenience to Hwys 183 and 121! Im also enjoying the upgraded features, large bedrooms, and multiple storage areas in my apartment. I feel I got a great apartment at a very reasonable rate, and I loved the move-in special too! -

Excellent Excellent Excellent, from the day of application to the moving day everything was smooth. The appartement is specious with new floor and new appliances, the complexe is clean and the location is excellent. The lady at the font desk is just an amazing professional so I recommend this place. -

My first impression of the community was calm, clean, and homey. Irene at the leasing office was very personable and eagered to help me find what I was looking for. She was able to answer all my questions and was willing to go above and beyond my specific needs. After my visit I just knew this is where I wanted to live and applied right away. -

Rosa (office manager) is great. She made the application process easy, as well as, the move-in process. It is a friendly and quiet community. As a new resident in Texas, Summerstone became our home for two years. We didnt have many issues, but when we did they were resolved pretty quickly. The complex is home to many different types of people, lots of families with children, but most times you wouldnt even know it.The school bus comes to the complex to pick up students which is a huge plus. The property was pretty well kept and the maintenance guys did a great job of keeping the place up. I really wished Summerstone had 3 bedroom units. We may have stayed longer. We didnt interact with leasing staff often so no real complaints thete. Overall, we liked our stay at the complex and ultimately moved because we outgrew the space. We havent turned in keys yet, but Ill update on the move out process. -

Weve lived here for a couple months now and we really love it here. We moved from a terrible apartment where the A/C never worked. It would break within days from them fixing it. So refreshing to actually have a place where everything works!! The floor plans are well designed, and the bathrooms are beautiful!! Our dog also very much enjoys the dog park here! There is everything you could ever need here! They even have a package hub which is super helpful!! -

My Daughter and I love these apartments! We have lived in 2 different apartments in this same complex . Before New management I was a little resilient due to issue with management being very disorganized , yet since new management has came in, all my work orders have been done very quickly and they have been very informative with any information residents need . The only downfall i would say is they are very hard to get in contact with unless you go into the office , but that is my only complaint. I would highly suggest theses apartments to anyone looking for a quite , safe apartment for your family. -

I have lived here for 12 years. New mgt within last 6 months, 5 stars now!Location: The location is great. Everything you need within walking distance, Police station next door, lots a ways to access freeways, centrally located in DFW, 10 minutes from airport.Maint: I have had a few major issues with water and electricity (squirrel). Martin is very responsive and will not hesitate to call in a 3rd party electrician, Plummer, etc. to fix the issue.Old Front office: Like I said, Ive been here for 12 years. Antenna bought this property several years ago. The ORIGINAL Mgt staff had a lot of room for improvement, I cant tell you how many different leasing assistants and Asst. Managers came thru here. Every time I went to the office it seemed like there was a new face. This combined with the condescending way the Manager would speak to you (always giving excuses; with broken, easily refutable logic), made it clear there was a problem.New Front Office: Antenna made a management change within the last 6 months. Rosa is our new property manager. During this time I have had a few issues and she went out of her way to promptly resolve them. She quickly responds to my emails. Im an Organizational Psychologist where one of my jobs is to evaluate and consult on customer service practices. As you know, not everyone in customer service positions are skilled at it. I can say her customer service is absolutely amazing. For example, I came home the other day and my door was cracked open. I had reported an issue the day before and thought that maintenance entered my apt and had not locked the door when they left. I contacted Rosa. Instead of being rude Rosa told me that they had not entered that day and then asked me if I wanted her to put in a ticket to make sure my door was adjusted so that it shut properly and the locking bolts were aligned. She had a solution ready, and let me decide what I wanted to do. She gets it, and is a much needed improvement.Thanks Rosa! -

Came in to tour the place after I seen a great virtual tour by Steph! By the way she’s amazing, super welcoming and very informative. I wish every leasing agent had the energy and motivation she does, it would make apartment hunting so much easier. -

Summerstone is a quiet place with friendly staff that is close to pretty much anything that you would want to do. A mall, bookstores, restaurants and walking trails, like the Boys Ranch. It is also in a great school district and is pet friendly. I have really enjoyed living here. -

I’ve been here two years and it is good place. Cozy and friendly people in the office. Clean environment and they our on time with listening to you. Also environment feels safe. The schools are close by with stores and Resturant. -

I highly recommend this apartment complex to everyone out there it’s very quiet and nice the management are great i scheduled a tour the other day with Stephanie Gutierrez ,she was very nice and professional she showed me all the options was available that was very helpful not like some other apartments complex when you go they barely talk to you I’ll definitely look forward to rent one here . -
