Taylor and Chelsea did an amazing job helping my wife and I find (and buy!) our home as first time homebuyers. Both Chelsea and Taylor are great at responding to questions and put a ton of energy, thought, and action in being on top of questions and dialogues with lending agents and other agents throughout the entire home buying process (before buying, while under contract, and even after the contract was completed). They advocated for us in ways that we never would have known without them, and I can’t recommend them enough as realtors for new and current homebuyers. We found them through the Home Town Heroes program and we loved having their support every step of the way.

Despite our unique set of circumstances, timeline, and needs, they met us where we were and supported us along the way. I can say with certainty that they want the best for their clients. This is evident in both their process and willingness to educate their clients. It was clear that they were more interested in us finding the right home and situation for our family than they were about moving on to the next client. They are always in your corner, willing to fight to make sure you end up in a house you will love. Before meeting with Chelsea and Taylor, we did not believe that homeownership was a possible future for us. They educated us about all of the potential avenues available, and that eventually led us to finding a great home in a great area at a great price. They met us across several months to look at a ton of houses, and when it was time to place an offer, they took care of all of the paperwork for us. They negotiated and communicated on our behalf effectively. We will always be grateful for this experience with them.

They want the best for their clients and it shows during every meeting, every showing, and even beyond closing day. They are incredibly smart and well versed in the world of real estate, but what sets them apart is the grace and ease with which they explain all of the complexities to clients like me who know nothing about it all. They interpret inspections and appraisals and give you honest opinions about the results. It is clear that Chelsea and Taylor do this work because they care about finding people great homes. This is the real estate dream team! We found Chelsea and Taylor by happenstance and we are so fortunate. Being new to the area and new to home buying, we were definitely overwhelmed but having the right people in our corner made the process much easier. Both Taylor and Chelsea are knowledgeable about the local market and were very attentive to our needs. They were always available when we needed assistance and incredibly responsive. They helped us navigate some difficult situations and advised us objectively on what was best for us, even when it may not have been the most beneficial outcome for them. Taylor and Chelsea are the BEST. If you are looking for consistent, personalized, warm service, they are it! Root Realty matches people with homes. We moved from out of the state, and I didnt even walk through my house before purchasing. Taylor sent me clear videos, highlighted the good and pointed out the not-so-good. She brought me up to speed on local and state real estate practices and laws, and I felt confident about the process as we moved through it. As a first time homebuyer I was nervous and had a million questions. Root Realty patiently, professionally, and promptly walked me through the whole homebuying process. Chelsea and Taylor were wiling to book lots and lots of showings until we found the perfect home, helped negotiate repairs, worked around schedules so inspection/walkthroughs/closing was convenient. We were able to buy a home beyond anything I could have ever imagined, the process was not just painfree, it was pleasant! I wish I could give Root Realty Group 100 stars!!!

Buying a house is easy. Buying a HOME is no easy feat. Chelsea and Taylor are my own personal super heroes who just happen to be realtors. This team is one that you want on your side. Root Realty was a wonderful choice for our first home purchase. Chelsea found us a house that matched the criteria wed given her and more. We were never pressured or rushed, but she moved quickly and efficiently. We found ourselves in a competitive situation, as many did a year ago, and Chelsea coached us through not only what we would need to do to win, but also making sure we werent getting swept up in the excitement and overextending ourselves.Even since we finished the house buying process, Chelsea has been available to recommend approaching updates, give advice on other market questions, and generally offer advice for homeownership.

I moved to Waco about a couple of years back and was fortunate enough to be able to live with my sister. During our time together, we began to feel the space shrink in our house as we grew with friends and family. Thankfully, Chelsea and Taylor were readily able to assist my sister and I in searching for a new space that would allow us to live comfortably and host as we please! They were so great through our house searching process; seriously, we probably looked at so many places and through that, they were patient with our time and needs. We just closed on a wonderful home- we couldnt have done it without them! 10/10 business and people.

I met Chelsea purely by accident when she was showing a house to another client. I immediately knew she would be “the one” to find me the perfect house and asked if she would give me a call at her convenience.From that moment on she and Taylor bent over backwards to help me find the perfect home. I was not your typical client and not being from Waco and not knowing anyone in the area, I was taking a chance on Waco becoming my forever home. Not knowing the area Chelsea was quick to send me homes in a lot of areas, the homes ranged in age from new to very old. It didn’t take long for us to find out my preference was for the older homes that had recent upgrades. With the crazy real estate market it was not easy finding a house that your offer was competitive and accepted.I never felt discouraged, Chelsea and Taylor were always available to answer my questions and listen to my concerns. My story has a really happy ending, I’m now the proud owner of a beautiful 97 year old home that is “me”. I couldn’t have done it without these magnificent women! If everyone in Waco is as friendly and welcoming as Chelsea and Taylor, then I truly have found my retirement paradise.

Ive had things made easy most of my life thanks to my parents,. Now that I am blazing my own trail and entering into the realm of making serious decisions with real repercussions, it really makes the difference to have the right people by your side to help you work through these hard choices. I had Chelsea and Taylor recommended to me by a friend, and I believe they are the reason that I am currently working on moving all my possessions into my new house I seemingly lucked into, but it wasnt luck it was good information and increased understanding of the process. I cant recommend them enough, especially if you are looking to buy your first home.

Thank you Root Realty Group! Chelsea is a previous colleague of mine and knew I was a recent home owner. Of course as a first-time home buyer, its been a learning curve. Out of the blue Chelsea reviewed with the city to ensure I had signed up for a homestead tax exemption. I had not, so she immediately shared with me to call the city of Austin. I just received a $700 check from calling and retroactively signing up. Thank you so much Chelsea!
