I found Raquel through Yelp since she is highly rated. I wanted a painless sell and someone that knew the Houston area well. Raquel stepped up to the plate because she was a Houston native.From our previous experience with an agent from the buyer side of things, we knew what we did and didnt like about the home buying experience. From the first time meeting with Raquel, we were very impressed with her knowledge. From search criteria, to what to fix, what not to fix, what to price things at and when to sell. With that is also her personality that you feel comfortable like a long time friend. Easy to talk to, and always getting back to you regardless of what questions you may have. On top of this, were in a pandemic and Covid doesnt make anything easier. A lot more protocols and safe distancing, the team members were very health conscious.We listed our home, got 50 viewings over a weekend, 15 offers (more, but we cut it off), and accepted and closed within 30 days. Raquel helped with the selection process by weighing in the pros and cons of each and even helping to look at sneaky tactics that agents will use on the contracts. It was an eye opener that surely only an expert could see. After the contracts were signed, Raquels team stepped up to the plate and handled all the operational and paperwork. The Escrow team Raquel recommended was also fantastic. Everything went down smoothlyMy wife and I highly recommend Raquel and her team. 5/5 Stars!

She helped us sell two homes and buy our current house.We first met Raquel at one of her open house. We were so impressed with how welcoming she was to everyone who came through the door. The house was packed, but somehow she was able to accommodate everyone. We asked if she would help us sell our home and buy a new one. We’re so glad she agreed and here is why…On the selling end, she was a true professional. During the walkthrough she gave us suggestions on what we could do to improve or add value to the house. She later brought in a staging consultant, but with her expert guidance the staging consultant had no additional feedback. Great! There was no question left unanswered, her response time to our calls, text or emails were lightening fast and most importantly… we sold our house above our asking price with only 3 days on the market!With the tremendous success of the sale of our house our expectations on the buying side was sky high. Well, we’re happy to say that Raquel did not disappoint. Making appointments with her was easy. She was not shy to point out flaws in a house and had great ideas on how to use or remodel different spaces. At the time the market was crazy, but Raquel always had a positive attitude and ensured that we would land our dream home. And land our dream home we did. Let me tell you, when you find yourself in a multiple offer situation you better have tough negotiator on your side.From our experience we won’t ever need another agent as long as Raquel is in business. My partner and I were in the market for a new home to accommodate our growing family. We’d anticipate finding a perfect home during the pandemic will be extremely stressful, but Raquel made the whole process exceptionally smooth. She spent hours answering all our questions, explained the process, provided us with information about the property/ area beyond the typical public record, and never pressured us. We were impressed with her positive attitude, outstanding communications skills, and her wealth of knowledge in the real estate market.Raquel was always accessible and supported us in making the right decision as we searched for homes together. She took every precaution to make sure we were safe and compliant w/ the regulations for COVID-19 restrictions (Masks, gloves, sanitizing wipes, etc.). She was always flexible to help arrange viewings at times that are convenient for us. Once we found the property we liked, she sat with us to strategize on the best way to get our offer accepted. The property is in a highly demanded area. There were multiple offers (20+) and our offer wasnt the highest. We’d considered increasing the offer price, but she suggested we hold off while she negotiates. With her exceptional negotiating skills, we got into contract!! We were ecstatic!!She patiently walked us through with every step from lending, inspections, and connecting us with skilled vendors. Raquel was transparent, diligently kept us in the loop, and managed the entire process with finesse. During the walk though, we happened to run into the listing agent. The listing agent said the key points that helped us got this house was that Raquel put together an organized and well-presented offer. She was always two steps ahead. The start of our relationship and journey began when I simply posted on social media asking if friends new of any real estate agents who could help me out with purchasing a house in Texas. One of my friends then reached out to Raquel who then immediately reached out to me. Along with Raquel, 3 other realtors were referenced. First things first, Raquel was the only one of the 4 who reached out to me. I had to make the first step and initiate the conversation to the other 3, 1 of whom completely ignored me and responded about 3 weeks later. After Raquel reached out to me though, before we even agreed that she would be my official agent in helping me purchase a home, she already began telling me useful information regarding taxes and other issues that I should consider when deciding where to live. Keep in mind, this was all prior to our official agreement. It wasn’t long after that that I decided to fully commit to Raquel and have her lead me in my first home purchase of my life.Throughout the daunting and extremely intimidating task of purchasing a home, Raquel was tremendously helpful. She always made sure to respond to emails within a 24-hour time frame, usually within a couple of hours, and always responded to texts almost immediately.Along with her great responsiveness, she was always making sure that she answered all of my and my fiancé’s questions. If she did not have the answer on hand, she made sure she went out and found out the correct and appropriate answer. I LOVED this about her! Too often these days’ people are too prideful to admit that they do not know an answer within their field of work, so they end up giving false information or information that isn’t 100% accurate. Raquel was able to admit when she did not know the answer to a question and found out the correct answer and let me know right away.Another great thing about Raquel was her ability to relate to us and her personal working style. Rather than feeling like we were in a client-agent relationship, it simply felt like a friendship. She does an amazing job at making sure she is very approachable and personable. This was probably the one aspect of her work that I appreciated the most. Let’s add the fact that we were pretty picky of the area we wanted to live in. It’s the perfect storm to not have things go smooth. Raquel responded within minutes and we set up some time to look at the condos the next day. She was very honest and gave candid feedback about the apartments, which is greatly appreciated.After the showings, she sent a comprehensive list of comps for the area, and added me to a subscription list of condos for sale and rent in my price range and desired area. Getting these automated alerts has been great to keep up with the market and seeing what else is available. We ended up deciding to stick with leasing instead of buying in the short term, but Raquel was a great agent throughout. Especially in Houstons sea of bad real estate agents, Raquel is a refreshing change. If youre a first time buyer, Raquel is the way to go, being very responsive, giving much needed advice and recommendations without being pushy or aggressive at all.
