We wanted to sell and buy a home. It is hard to find the right realtor but we took a leap of faith with who we felt was a good fit for us. Boy did we get it right. We are a busy family and Melissa had the patience to put up with us putting our home on hold several times and seeing over 50 homes in about 4 months to find the right one for our family.100% recommended with no hesitation.

Aside from Melissa’s wonderful personality, she stayed with us every step of the way thru one of the more difficult home buying periods that we’ve seen. Her guidance was spot on; she consistently was able to direct us to houses that we would be interested in living in; and when we all agreed on a house, Melissa put together the winning offer for us. I called every realtor around my area on New Years Day, January 1st. I was desperate for guidance on selling my home since I was purchasing a new-build in a different state, and I needed to make a snap decision.Only Melissa answered my phone call, and on the second ring, too. Her dedication and communication are flawless. I told her I wanted to list my house way more than surrounding appraised homes, because I knew the value of my home. It was ambitious, but she supported me. We sold our house in about 3 weeks. I would not have accomplished my goal without her help, knowledge, and resources. By far, the best realtor I could have asked for with such a positive attitude. I wish there was a copy of her in every state, because I am disappointed I wont be able to have her represent me in Kentucky now that I have moved.

I had many fears of selling my home of 22 years, and many choices of Realtors, multiple friends and acquaintances in the business. You dont want to hurt anyone, but you dont want to hurt yourself or your friendships either. Trust is a big issue. I timidly began making inquiries in the surrounding area, made phone calls, set up some interviews, and in preparation, wrote out a specific list of questions to ask (Yes, I had gone to the Internet for ideas on what to ask!).I had NO idea who I would choose until I interviewed Melissa Amy.She came to the interview confident and prepared, brought documents that she reviewed with me and left with me, answered my list of questions with great patience and thoroughness, and I realized immediately that this lady was going to help me sell, have the least judgmental attitude toward me and what I needed to do to help make it happen, and she was determined to see it all through with me. She focused on me, had great eye contact, and carefully listened.During the interview she referenced 24/7 availability, and as a mother myself, I would never assume this literally. But she amazed me! There were moments when I had to call her at what I felt were the worst times; her assuring voice got me through every fear.When we were preparing for the photos to be taken -- she walked with me through the home one last time, noting every little detail, making minor adjustments here and there (Lets dont hang a hand towel here -- lets hang a washrag...). Melissa knew that little details like that can make all the difference. And then, she brought in the photographer who happened to be a Realtor himself! He and Melissa knew the best shots to take.I was antsy, yes. I didnt want to be in town when it hit the market. Melissa patiently waited to PUSH THE BUTTON until I said, NOW! I was only an hour down I-35 when a neighbor called to ask if I knew people were going into my home. Of course, I knew that eventually people would, but I thought this would be a long, drawn-out process. So wrong was I! Melissas expertise at incredible public outreach and networking floored me.Melissa is positive, upbeat, patient -- and what a great laugh she has! I moved three hours away, and still, she checks in on me and has helped me with realty-related issues here.My biggest surprise was the day a small package arrived in the mail from Melissa. I opened it, and there in the soft tissue paper lay a cobalt-blue glass ornament Id had hanging in my bay window ever since my mother gave it to me when we had bought that home in 1998. I had overlooked it on moving day, but Melissa hadnt.I cannot say enough positive things about Melissa Amy, REALTOR. Previously, I only knew of her as the wife of a friend of a son -- but now, I know her as a great friend and as a highly qualified Realtor that I would recommend hands-down, any time, any day.

My agent was Melissa Amy and she was very knowledgeable, attentive resourceful and did not stop until I was happy in my new home. This process took over a year through no fault of the agency. She had put in many hours of service and the deal fell through. During that process she gave me check ins and helpful way to improve my credit score when i was ready again. When the time came we went full search and had a seamless experience. I am truly grateful for Coldwell Agency and specifically Mrs. Amy. She is a dedicated professional and a well connected Realtor.
