It has been a few months now since we got our keys to our home but I cannot go on longer without acknowledging everything Melanie did for us. She was and still is an amazing and most patient real estate agent! My husband and I previously worked with another agent, who told us we didn’t qualify for a first-time homeowner grant. It was so discouraging that we paused our home search. A bit scared we asked on FB if anyone knew a good agent and a lot of people tagged Melanie Maldonado so we decided to take the step and message her. I guarantee it was the best decision we could have taken. She completely changed our experience! She connected us with her lender, who helped us qualify for a $10,000 grant!Melanie went above and beyond for us. Not only did she take the time to explain every step of the process, but she also negotiated an additional $7,000 in seller concessions to help cover our closing costs. Thanks to her hard work, we even got money back on the day we closed and didn’t have to bring a single penny to the table!We are beyond grateful for what Melanie did for us as first-time homeowners. Melanie was AMAZING!! I don’t think any realtor could beat her! She is well informed and does not rush you into buying AT ALL!! You wanna go see the same house 2-3 times, she is up for it all! She will fight for the best offers and will keep you informed throughout the whole process! Melanie made our home buying process stress free and enjoyable! Which sounds crazy when buying a home because I’ve heard so many people say it was a stressful process. Also, Melanie works with lenders that have so many options even if you’re not a first time homebuyer! Overal, I highly recommend Melanie not just because of the overall experience, but the knowledge she has in real estate!
