Kathleen Merchant’s years of deep experience in the Woodlands area housing market immediately benefited us as we relocated from the Dallas area. On short notice after our referral called her, Kathleen on a weekend in early January plunged in to assist us in negotiating with Toll Brothers on the new build. Also, when snags arose in the following weeks on finalizing the house contract, her advice to “stay calm” was invaluable as the builder ultimately decided in our favor. Later in the building process, Kathleen participated with us in the hours-long detailed selection process at the design center. Again her vast experience in “what makes a house a home” while still being aware of “re-sale” touches led to excellent design choices for our new home that we are very happy with. Definitely choose Kathleen Merchant as your representative in purchasing a new home!

Kathleen Merchant and family are good friends of ours. When we thought about selling our home in 2011, we interviewed Kathleen. Although we believed she was the right agent, we wanted to help ensure that this would be a business transaction and that our friendship would in no way inhibit or be detrimental to the sales process. Ill start at the end and work backwards. Kathleen was superb! We sold our home for the price we wanted and closed the day we agreed to without a single hiccup or delay. Getting there was no easy feat for Kathleen. We had a lot of small cosmetic work to do to make our home presentable for sale. Kathleen put us in contact with over a dozen very dependable and well-priced service vendors that made the process easy. We were not easy sellers and we had very high expectations for Kathleen. She delivered. Her marketing, negotiating and service were exemplary. She was tenacious in tracking down agents who toured the home with potential buyers and gaining feedback 100% of the time. We took each piece of feedback to heart and made the small adjustments required to sell our home in the timeframe we wanted it sold. Kathleen was always there for us. I think being our friend (in addition to our agent) may have put even more pressure on Kathleen to perform. Every question we asked, she answered. If she didnt have the answer immediately, she did what research was necessary and got back to us quickly. There is no agent in The Woodlands that could have possibly done more for us than Kathleen. Fast forward, we bought a home back in the Woodlands in 2013. Kathleen was our agent and once again provided exemplary service. There were 4 bidders on the home we bought and we had the winning bid. Kathleen is our agent of choice, hands down. Thank you for unbelievably great service throughout both the selling and buying process.
