Then I finally met Jason and it didnt take long for us to decide to be together. My family was scheduled to enter the country in early August, and I wanted to schedule my childrens school attendance for the start of the semester in August, and I needed a home address to register for school in Korea. It was my first time in Austin, so I decided on the recommended neighborhood and personally inspected each house, took a video, and sent it to me. We kept in touch through chat and email and explained the sanitary condition of the house, safety, noise, accessibility to convenience facilities, etc. In particular, Koreans place great importance on status, so they immediately excluded houses that were dirty, unlike in the photos. I was worried that the house I was about to finalize on seemed remote, but he drove there himself and took pictures, and when I actually got there, I found out that it was very accessible. I thought that a realtor was very important because there were bound to be limitations in seeing things through maps and Google maps. Especially when looking for a house like I did without seeing it in person before coming (I was very worried in Korea), I think its important to choose a realtor who you can trust and who wont cut corners because you have to leave everything up to you.Anyway, after arriving, my family came home right away, unpacked, ate the side dishes we brought from Korea, and was able to sleep (I think thats very important) and went to school right away, leading to a stable life in Austin. I am grateful that I was able to find a very satisfying home through Intra City.
