We moved from California to Texas a year ago, and Im just now getting around to writing this long-overdue review because life has been so busy. Our Realtor, Tammy, was absolutely amazing, and I cant recommend her enough.She was referred to us by a friend of a friend, and from the very beginning, she exceeded our expectations. From the first meeting with Tammy, she was very knowledgeable and set reasonable expectations for us, including preparing our house to sell, estimated costs during the process, and potential timeframes. Then, meeting with Lauren for the buying side was great. She was always very responsive and available to meet for showings any time we asked. She was also very knowledgeable and provided us with any insight she had when we had questions during or after any showings. We also worked with Stephenie regularly for communication between us and our buyer’s agent for contract, repairs, closing, etc. and she was also very helpful and communicative. Amy and Joann were also a pleasure. Overall, we had a great experience! My wife and I were visiting open houses and met Lisa Ellard with Group Watson very early on in our home buying process. She was very welcoming, gave us our space, was easy to talk to, and just came off as a genuine person, who I felt would put our best interest first. She also quickly assisted us in seeing a few more houses that day. So when it came time to choose out of the stack of Real Estate agents cards we had collected while visiting open houses Lisa, easily, was our choice.Once we selected Lisa she was on the ball! She started sorting through houses based on what we wanted, which wasnt easy as my wife had some non standard request. Lisa was available to us anytime and had really great recommendations while looking at homes that we hadnt even considered. I knew we made a good choice when she started pointing out things that made a seemingly attractive home void from our list, as we wouldve been upset later on if we would have selected this home and it didnt fit our long term goals. Once we found the house that was right for us Lisas negotiating skills also showed evident. She did better than expected in this area and we got a great deal! She attended our inspection, helped get last minute things taken care of and it then it was done, that easy! My family was moving from NJ to TX. My husband and I were so stressed and nervous about having to buy a house basically all online. We contacted a realtor that we were referred to but he didn’t seem to know much about the area, schools, safety, etc. So I googled realtor groups in the McKinney area and saw GroupWatson. The reviews were great and it looked like a well established, reputable company. I went on their website and submitted an online request for someone to contact us. We promptly received a response from Lauren Burden. We talked to her about our situation and meet up during a trip we had scheduled to tour the area. She was so warm, comforting, knowledgeable, and accommodating. After meeting face-to-face a few days later, we were absolutely confident and comfortable about having Lauren as our realtor. She made the process so incredibly easy and put all of our concerns at ease. She communicated with us by email, text, or phone daily. Lauren went out of her way to take videos for any houses we were interested in and was proactive in getting any additional information from the sellers agent. She walked us through every step and was absolutely amazing at keeping us informed about any updates on existing listings or new ones coming on the market. From day one, she understood exactly what we needed, got answers for any questions we had, communicated efficiently and regularly, and assisted us with every step in the process. Lauren is by far and away the best realtor I’ve ever met. She provided us with recommended lenders, followed up on any inquiries immediately, gave us details on schools, clubs, community, & utility providers, was very open and honest, helped us get issues resolved & the house prepped prior to moving in, and walked us through our remote closing since we were still in NJ. She went so far out of her way to make this process as smooth possible by even disposing of the trash/belongings the previous owners left, bringing the mail in until we got here, having her husband mow the lawn since the house was unoccupied for 2 weeks prior to our arrival, coming to the house to let cleaners in, & meet up with us on Father’s Day to welcome us and give us the house keys. Moving is such a stressful and exhausting situation to begin with, but when you add in having to buy a house basically online and moving across the country during a pandemic it just amplifies those factors. Lauren did anything she could to put us at ease and feel confident in any choices we made. I don’t know how we would’ve gotten through this without her. She is thoughtful, comforting, trustworthy, personable, reliable, hard working, communicative, honest, accommodating, caring, understanding, and so much more! Prior to using the Watson Group, my house was on the market for five months and no contract. A friend of mine who works in real estate in another state researched the best realtors and came up with Group Watson. My agent was Lisa Ellard. She was knowledgeable, thorough, and communicated well. Unlike the previous agent who would not return my calls, Lisa was on her game throughout the process. We put the house back on the market in February at about the same price. She held an open house two days after listing it. The weather was cold and rainy but 15 prospects showed up! The previous two open houses held by my old agent each attracted two visitors. Lisa had an offer within two days. She countered and the deal closed in March. I was elated and honestly never thought it would sell so quick after changing agents. I highly recommend Lisa and Group Watson.
