Im a mortgage guys so I work with a lot of agents throughout the year and its always nice to be in a transaction with a solid and professional person like Gene. We had a slight issue that could have caused the transaction to go sideways but Gene stepped in and helped us get to a workable solution that benefited all parties involved and got the deal to the table. This was my 2nd time working with Gene. Previously he sold us a tract of land with an existing hunting cabin and hide last year. We approached Gene this time to help us make an unsolicited offer on an adjacent property. Gene was wonderful — where we struggled to find the property owner, he was able to track them down and negotiate a sale price that worked for everyone. He helped move the transaction along when the selling party had to repair the title before closing. We have now closed the sale, and we are very pleased.

We both identified other properties, he researched, and provided guidance. We were remote (3 hours away) and Gene visited the property, took pictures, and gave a true evaluation. Gene has sold several properties for me over the years. The last transaction was, by far, the most difficult due to a bad appraiser and virtually no communication from the buyer’s lender. But Gene got tough down the stretch and certainly played a role in getting the lender to finally get their act together and get the deal closed.
