Donnie helped my wife and I find the perfect home and I wouldn’t use anyone else if I were purchase another home. Despite the market being a mess, he was patient with us and kept looking at homes with us until we found the right one. He understands the market and helped us to see which homes had good value (and which ones had poor value) for their area and price. Closing on a home can be a hectic process but Donnie streamlined it and made it simple for us. He had a great contact for every part of the home closing process (Inspection, Contractors, etc) and I was relieved that with every decision, he had a very logical reasoning that I could follow. All the awards he receives start to make sense now!

My brother had worked with Donnie when he was purchasing his first home and had an excellent experience. When we decided to purchase our first home my brother highly recommended we reach out to Donnie. We had the pleasure of working with Marlo and had such an amazing experience! She always accommodated to our schedule and was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. We looked at 19 houses and Marlo knew exactly what we were wanting and she was amazing at pointing out things in the house or the neighborhood that we had not noticed. Being a first time homebuyer it was very overwhelming at times, but Marlo was there every step of the way and helped take off a lot of the stress. I have had the pleasure to learn the ropes from Donnie Walker and what he is about. I recently had a commercial client come to me to sell his property in Buda, Texas. This commercial project was too large for me to handle, so I trusted in Donnie to get the job done with grace! His expertise and partnership helped me assist our sellers with the sell of his property.Donnie Walker immediately jumped into action and met with our client to ensure he was the right fit for the job. If they arent 100% sure on something then they will research it to make sure they are giving you the best and correct information. I have complete confidence in this team. They very thoroughly represent you as a seller or a buyer agent. I have used them for both utilizing a 1031 exchange. They coordinated everything to make sure a step wasnt missed between other agents, the title company, or the exchange company. I randomly found Donnie on the internet, and I am so glad that I did. I had a property I needed help selling in San Antonio so I gave him a call. I immediately liked his friendly and professional manner. On one of our early calls he was driving out to my property to take a look and ended up having to ask a few question to the neighbor while I was on the phone... Thats when I found out he also spoke Spanish as he used his language skills to find out important information that we needed to know to proceed with the sale. His comprehensive knowledge of the San Antonio Real Estate market was clear and obvious from the beginning, and set me at ease with my concerns about selling this property and also possibly buying other investment properties in San Antonio.Having dealt with less motivated agents in the past; I was a little surprised at the dedicated level of service that Donnie gave me. There were problems with the property that made the sale of my property a challenge on a few occasions; Donnie came through calmly and effectively every time. I have only positive things to say about working with Donnie Walker Real Estate. My husband and I develop commercial and residential real estate. The property Donnie sold for us was personal residential property; and not in a familiar market for us or realtors we frequently use. As we made the decision to sell, a number of people and other realtors produced data that basically said we could not sell the property at the sale price we wanted. We were told the odds were against us selling high and/or wed be sitting on the property for many, many months. We rejected those sales people. Donnie listened to our experience with selling real estate and our hunches about the changes that would occur in the San Antonio market. He felt our property had the ability to sell itself by its staging, historic value and integral space. He agreed with our perspectives and decided to not only go with the target number we preferred, but to aim higher. After aggressive marketing and good showings, he made the sale at the higher price. He worked diligently with us and the buyers side to close the deal and stayed on top of the time frame we wanted for our business and living schedules. We look forward to working with him in the future and in other real estate endeavors.
