Suzanne and James are an amazing realty team! I had met them at a neighbors open house and we stayed in touch. Whenever I contacted Suzanne about a house, she wouldnt hesitate to say lets go take a look. She goes way beyond just a walk through of the floor plan and does her best to help you determine if a property is a good fit. Ive worked with good realtors but never one that would scramble into the attic to look at mechanicals and all the not so glamorous stuff. When I did find a house, she guided me through the buying process, keeping track of tasks and timelines. Then I had to quickly get my house ready for the market. James and Suzanne came to the house for a walk through and made staging and marketing suggestions. They helped me navigate the selling process and even with receiving multiple offers over asking, it is still stressful and can have its ups and downs. In the end, I was able close on my house about a month after closing on the new house. If I had one word to describe my experience with the Burk group it is collaboration. The relationships I value the most are collaborative and I had that throughout the buying and selling experience.I highly recommend Suzanne and James for your real estate needs. We moved from Oregon to Texas and were looking for a real estate agent. Suzanne was highly recommended and we could not have been happier. She was not only responsive, timely, friendly and professional, she became more than a real estate agent. She became a friend! She was willing to spend as much time with us as we needed and never once acted like it was an imposition. She would look for homes, and be willing to show us any homes that we may have found. She provided excellent feedback regarding locations, taxes, and all-around general real estate knowledge that we did not have. We interviewed three agents before listing our home, two of whom had many more years of experience than Suzanne and records of success in our Las Colinas neighborhood. But Suzanne came prepared with market research, a great attitude & enthusiasm and it was evident shed done her homework. The other two focused on a listing price saying, its all about price and price per sf. Suzanne wanted to see our home, what made it unique and acknowledged price per sf is just one measurement...she stressed that a marketing strategy and tenaciousness matters. She simply wanted it more - she won us over! We priced the home at her recommendation - which was $40,000 more than the other two realtors suggestions - and it sold within 2% of asking price. Her response time to our questions and needs was so impressive...we never felt forgotten about and she always offered options & suggestions to us. Weve bought & sold 7 homes (14 transactions) throughout North America in 20 years and would rank Suzanne at the top of all the realtors weve worked with.

Suzanne was an absolute pleasure to work with! She listened to everything we needed and wanted, communicated every detail and even responded late at night. In this crazy market Suzanne was able to not just find our dream home, secure us an amazing deal on it, educate us on everything real estate and home ownership, but made it an extremely fun process! Going into this process of purchasing our first home was terrifying, especially in this market. Having a thousand questions and not knowing anything basically. After our first sit down with Suzanne I knew she had our best interest in mind and was going to guide us through the entire process. Suzanne and James are great people and were amazing partners in our home buying experience. This was our first home and we cannot thank them enough for their experience and expertise every step of the way.
