Ive been working with Jen and Rachel since 2021, before finally finding my dream home in May of 2024! When i first started out my search, I was with another realtor and really found that I wasnt getting the service I expected. I felt as if the realtor didnt believe that I had the resources to buy a home, and so barely helped me with my search, never independently searched or sent me listings, and just didnt give me any attention. Granted this was in 2022 when the market was super hot, but that just points out even more how wondering Jen and team were when I cold called them on afternoon in late 2022 searching for a new realtor.Immediately I felt like I was in great hands. They were so knowledgeable about the market, and more importantly, I felt like they were behind me, and confident that they would find me exctly what i wanted, no matter how hard it would be. Theyve been so patient with me from the very beginning, and even continued to walk with me after I put in an offer, won it, and then pulled out of a deal all within 24 hours. They patiently welcomed me back after I took a one year hiatus from my search as well.Im sure a lot of other realtors would have given up on me at that point. I cannot say enough good things about this team. Jen is a powerhouse, a treasure trove of experience, resources, and contacts; and Rachel is an invaluable guide, advisor, advocate, educator, sounding board, lifeline, and simply a joy to work with. I did my usual obsessive level of research before selecting Berbas Group to help me sell my Central Austin home. In the end, it was an easy decision, based on Jen Berbas’s deep knowledge of Austin real estate, data-driven approach to her work, and her standing not only with her clients but among her peers. It was definitely the right decision, and boy was I glad I made it. I’m not sure how I would have gotten through the roller coaster ride of home selling, especially in the Austin market, without the reassurance of someone so expert and experienced acting on my behalf. I leaned heavily on her guidance and advice, from planning our home prep to addressing the multiple offers we received to examining the contract. She also has a capable and responsive team to back her up - each person lovely to work with and vested in our success. (Thank heaven for Kristin!) Only afterwards, did I think about how many other clients this team was working with at the same time. It never felt like Jen had other customers. I admit I took that completely for granted. I had heard Berbas Group was good, but I never anticipated wed get such generous white-glove treatment. We were in another city while the house sale was being executed, and Jen and her team did EV-ER-Y-THING for us. It was amazing. In addition to offering much more in the way of services than I could ever have hoped for, we also benefited from Jens superb instincts when it comes to dealing with Austins real estate market and navigating the sales process. She knows her stuff. She gathers all the facts and does her research, but really, her cumulative years as a successful Austin realtor are what push the service up to next-level. Her instincts were always right (even in this crazy market). Were the far opposite end of wealthy, but we received celeb treatment, and we really appreciate that. I have had two wonderful opportunities to work with the Berbas Group of realtors in Austin in the past five years. In 2019, Jen Berbas helped me sell the home I had lived in for quite a few years. The process was new to me, and I was glad to have Jen to guide me. She was extremely responsive to my every question or concern. As she had come highly recommended, and as her level of confidence inspired the same in me, I followed all of her recommendations. Before I knew it the house was sold at the original asking price. And Jen’s upbeat, pleasant attitude always made me happy to communicate with her.Recently, in 2024, I needed to find a rental home. I called Jen to see if she had a recommendation, and right away she had David Sears call me. David was just as pleasant to work with as Jen had been, and he was also very responsive. I told him what my roommate and I were looking for. I gave him a considerable wish list, and I made it clear that time was a factor. In a short time, we had found just the right house for the right price. I was impressed that David never showed me any listings that didn’t fit 100 per cent with our wish list. He did all thegroundwork for us. I would be most happy to work with the Berbas Group again.

We had the wonderful fortune of having Kristin as our realtor in selling our condominium this year. The sale was a challenge from the start in that the property needed significant repairs. Kristin was instrumental in helping find excellent professionals in evaluating the damage and subsequently providing perfect repair work. Kristin was then able to put the property up for sale in a very smooth and efficient manner. Although the house was put up for sale during the late fall season, we were able to get an offer fairly quickly. Kristin helped negotiate a very fair price for the property. Not only that but Kristin was able to calmly navigate issues on the sellers side that could have potentially terminated the deal.Overall, I can’t think of a better person to handle a house sale especially in what could be considered a buyer’s market. We just bought a home in Austin with the help of Jens team and were blown away by how thorough, professional and helpful they were. We are moving from Baltimore, and knew very little about the area. As soon as we contacted them, they arranged Zoom calls to introduce us to the process, sent us guidebooks in the mail, helped us narrow our search and outlined how each step of the journey would work.During the search process, they checked in with us frequently, were always happy to visit houses at a moments notice, and got back to us immediately when we requested any information (sometimes within seconds!!) After we had the house under contract, they also arranged weekly phone meetings so that we knew what to expect and nothing fell through the cracks.David was wonderful - he took us to see houses, was a wealth of information, and really felt like our ally. Jen provided us with all of the market info and trends, and was extremely thorough and supportive. Rachel was crucial in organizing everything for us, and always did so with kindness and enthusiasm. She then stepped up at the last minute to come to our closing when other circumstances prevented David from getting there.We are so grateful to all three of them. This was a home-buying experience unlike anything we had seen before - we were given so much useful information in such an organized way, and we always felt completely supported by them. The Berbas Group is amazing! Jen and her team could not have been more helpful throughout the entire process. We were looking to build a home in South Austin/Buda area. Rachel set up a few appointments with some builders. She worked her magic with the seller at Sunfield in Buda and was able to help us score a nice beautiful lot for us to build our home. Had it not been for her asking the hard hitting questions during our appointments, I dont think we would have been able to accomplish this on our own. Throughout the months of building, Jen, Rachel, and the team were in constant communication with us helping to make sure we had all of our ducks in a row. They answered any questions we had. David took fantastic videos throughout the building process, as well as helped us navigate our home walk throughs. I can go on and on with how fabulous this team is. If you need an Austin real estate agent, look no further than the Jen Berbas Team at Realty Austin.The details…I wanted to write a long review as Jen and her team’s service warrants it… A home purchase is one of the most important purchases of your life, so you need to feel the same about who you are working with to support that purchase.My wife and I had been living in Austin for a few months, we roughly knew the zip code we wanted to be in, but that was the extent of our Austin knowledge. We talked to a few Realtors, but the relationship didn’t click. However, halfway through our first meeting with Jen Berbas, we knew we had a connection.Jen’s focus is on the long-term happiness of her clients and how she can aid us in making the right home decision. From our initial meetings on, there was no rushed or transactional conversations, no pressure to sign a buyer’s agreement, no being bombarded with homes to look at. Jen actively listened to what we wanted. Google only gave me a 1-5 scale to work with, but if we could give 10 stars for our experience, we would.We were looking for a condo, and Jen has deep experience in that market (my understanding is that she has equally deep experience in single family homes in the greater Austin area). For condos, we struggled to find an expert realtor who was also arms-length enough from any particular development to give us an impartial perspective. That ended when we found Jen and team. Jen has an encyclopedic knowledge of every building and an investors mindset that cuts right through the pricing mania to help us understand what things are actually worth and be clear-eyed about where we would be overpaying. Everyone on her team is also honest about what they do not know in a way that I really appreciate. I felt like I could trust them and I saw repeatedly that they were not going to push me into a transaction just to make a commission, which was a sign that they were putting my interests ahead of their own.One of the things that really struck me was the universally positive feedback I heard about Jen and team from the rest of the real estate community. Every person I talked to as part of the transaction (title company, several lenders, even other realtors who we decided not to work with) said wonderful things when I mentioned Jens name. To quote one she is one of my favorite people EVER, and you are so lucky to work with her. She was able to find us what is reffered to in the Austin market as a unicorn which would be a 4/3 with a pool in one of the tightest market conditions in the entire country. Just closed on a house using Jen Berbas and her team as a Buyers rep. This would have been virtually impossible without their help. From getting access to listings, getting a couple of video tours, to guidance with market terms in the Austin area. Could not be happier with Jan, David, and Rachel. Highly recommended!
