Recently, my family has encountered some significant challenges related to inadequate HVAC work that was performed in the past. Since 2018, we have enlisted the services of a well-known local HVAC company, which unfortunately resulted in substantial damages to our home. This unfortunate situation was not confined to just one, but rather two different companies. As a consequence of their incompetence, our home suffered extensive water damage, necessitating costly repairs. However, the purpose of this review is not to dwell on those experiences. Instead, I would like to commend and express my gratitude towards TempTex. TempTex came highly recommended to us by another reputable local HVAC contractor, and we are immensely thankful for this recommendation. Their team efficiently rebuilt and properly installed our AC units, proving to be a lifeline for us. As of now, our AC is functioning perfectly. I highly recommend TempTex and affirm that Tony and his team conduct their business in an exemplary manner. -

Very professional from the call to the fix. Had technician here within 2 hrs on this Labor Day weekend. Diagnosed bad capacitor, replaced and back up and running. Will definitely recommend to any of my friends that need A/C and Heating assistance. Pricing was reasonable. Would also recommend getting their service contract. -

I would like to express my appreciation to Tony, his family, and his employees for the excellent service they have provided me over the years. Tony installed a new American Standard AC & heat system in my home in 2013. I hired him for the installation because I believed in his integrity. I interviewed five companies and chose Temp Tex because my first impression of Tony was of honesty and truthfulness. Temp Tex is a family run business as both his sons work for the company. His employees are well trained, courteous, and respectful. -

Our AC went out in the middle of the heat wave (104° today). They were the first of seven repair companies to show up and I’m sure glad they did. Our condenser fan motor seized up and they went to get a new one fast!My wife is going through menopause and would never make it without quick service. Thomas & Michael were super professional and friendly. Checking on replacement motors leads me to believe that they didn’t gouge me on the costs too. Highly Recommend! -

Temp Tex Air Conditioning & Heating saved the day on Christmas Eve. After paying another company the day prior to repair my heating unit and them leaving only for it to stop working immediately after. Leading to a miserable night and no response from that company I had no choice than to look for another company. Temp Tex came and the 3 gentleman went to work and fully diagnosed the problem and fixed it. They were very professional and communicated every step and possible solutions. The fact that even into the afternoon on Christmas Eve they did not quit until our heat was restored. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs their heating or ac units repaired or maintenance. -

This is the most professional and caring AC and Heating Company ever. I have had a maintenance plan with them for at least 5 years. They are very honest and fair. More importantly, this company responds quickly to your call and works hard to repair your unit. They treat you like family. Just last week, they replaced my old, worn out unit. I am so impressed with how hard they worked to ensure I had the best quality of air flow as well as workmanship. I highly recommend TempTex AC and Heating. -

I have lived in San Antonio collectively for 8+ years due to the military life. In that time I have come to realize that small businesses in a town this big will have great reputations when they are truly there to serve. When they believe in their customer base and value their relationship it makes doing business stress free. The technicians at Temp Tex are top notch! They are respectful, on time, and very knowledgeable in their craft. They take pictures of their work and send it back to their office where a senior tech will review the work before the team leaves. I highly recommend giving them a call. They can make your home right, and do it stress free to you knowing that you are getting the best service in town! -

Our A/C died on us in the middle of a San Antonio summer and we had pets and small children that were at serious risk of suffering heat related complications for their young age and size. They first responded with a call back and assured us we would be seen as soon as possible. A technician even stopped by to let me know that we were next on his list but they were very busy attending to A/C issues all over the area. When they got there the first they asked us if everyone is feeling okay, advised us to keep drinking water and that they would have us running again soon. They needed to replace the condenser and the Freon and gave us the most discount that they could before they weren’t making a profit. They were very professional and prompt and just an awesome company to deal with! I would highly recommend Temp Tex to anyone in their service area! You won’t be disappointed!!! -

Our system had problems after the big freeze in February, but they had a crew out right away to get it up and running again! Temp Tex AC & Heating take care of their customers like no other company in its field. The customer service is above and beyond the rest. We personally have been customers for 7 years now and will not hire anyone else. My family has been customers for many years before me. Not only did they make sure to get us the best deal on a new heat pump unit but also provided us with temporary portable units to use in our home until our new unit could arrive. Their rates are competitive with any other company out there and are usually better than what others can offer. You will not be disappointed when you hire Temp Tex to take care of all your heating and cooling needs. -

Had prior work done by another A/C company to install Heat Pump Condenser inside the house. They did not complete the job properly. As a result my Compressor went out. Temp Tex made sure to match up the compressor with the year old Heat pump the other A/C company installed and corrected the issues the other company failed on to maximize the overall efficiency of the 2 units. Set up a maintenance assurance program at a very reasonable price to help keep both units in tip top shape. Temp Tex is my go to A/C company from now on! -

I was a victim of the south TX freeze 🥶 . I called Temp Tex on the Wednesday after the storm. Tony came over that day, he diagnosed my 18 yr old system. Thursday called to set up install appointment and by Saturday my new system was installed and I had peace of mind. They even thought me how to use my Thermostat.
