    After having my condenser unit at my home fail during Hurricane Beryl and being without AC for 2 weeks. I was finally able to fund the replacement of the Condenser unit. Spoke with Elizabeth explained my situation and she had Stephen promptly call me before noon. I wanted a price on a Carrier 5 ton 15 seer unit with coil. Gilberts Air Specialist had actually installed an American Standard unit 10 years prior for my father. Stephen actually called back within about 40 minutes. I was ready to buy and the offer I received was better than the offers I had prior. Not to mention I was waiting on callbacks from other local companies in my area. Gilberts Air Specialist was the only company who promptly called back. That tells me they wanted my business. Sometimes you just know a good deal and I said lets do it. It had to be done regardless. Stephen had technicians at my home by 2:30 pm and they were done by 6:30 pm. The technicians who worked on the AC they were great. I cant think of anything but good things to say about my experience. They were total professionals. Overall this is one of the best experiences Ive had. I recommend anyone whos looking for good quality service to give Gilberts Air Specialist the opportunity to earn their business. They more than earned mine.     I contacted Gilberts Air Specialists following a search to locate a replacement of a significant part for one of our air conditioners. I spoke with Stephen, who was extremely cooperative. What impressed me most was that Stephen researched the need I had to find the exact and appropriate parts to facilitate the repair needed for my air conditioning problem. Moreover, Stephen worked diligently to provide service, parts and an acceptable and resonable price for everything. He did so and more. Installation was completed at a rapid pace within two days. The installers were courteous and competent.We highly recommend Gilberts Air Specialists and should we encounter any further air conditioning problems, Gilberts Air Specialists will be my first call.

    I called Gilberts Air Specialist due to my AC not cooling the house. The upstairs thermostat was reading 88 and the downstairs 85. Elizabeth quickly returned my call and was very pleasant and stated we can have someone out to assess your situation this evening. True to her word David was at our home within a couple hours. He called prior to coming and gave me an estimated arrival time. Upon his arrival he was very professional and pleasant. He assessed the situation, explained to me in detail about the problem and offered several options including pricing on fixing the problem. What I really liked was there was no pressure on the decision I made. Davids priority was providing immediate relief for hubby and I. Within an half hour of David leaving we had relief from the heat. I HIGHLY recommend Gilberts Air Specialist for your AC needs. If youre lucky David will be your representative. I appreciate him going above and beyond and answering all my questions.

    I had a very positive experience working with Ozzie and Stephen from Gilbertā€™s Air Specialists. Ozzie quickly diagnosed the problem with my AC and was very knowledgeable answering all of my questions.Ozzie and the rest of his installation team were very good to work with and were great working in some difficult spots (2 story townhouse roof and very cramped attic).Stephen was able to work with me to provide an appropriate quote that met my needs without pushing me for anything extra. He was very straight forward and easy to work with to come up with the best solution.I now have nice cold AC again only a day after it went out. I really appreciated how efficient they were with the whole process and the install looks great. I will be happy to recommend them to anyone I know that needs AC repairs and will be calling them for anything I need in the future.

    David and his crew went over and beyond to help my daughter and I get out of the heat. My whole unit went out. David and his team did a awesome job installing my new unit.     Well I have to say we werenā€™t pressured on buying from this company. The cleanness from the installation crew and despite the bad weather then no electricity was outstanding.     UPDATE:1/6: Stephen called to apologize for our experience and said our price should have been adjusted. He refunded us half. We appreciate the assistance and will consider using them again.1/5: The first time we had someone out to our house to look at installing a vent hood over our stove was December 22. We had already purchased the vent hood. We just needed a technician to install it. We were told additional carpentry work would be required and someone would call us to schedule that along with the estimate. Two weeks later, no one had called us. I reached out to the company and scheduled their carpenter contractor to come out to our house. He was supposed to be here January 4th, and he never called or showed up. I called the company. What is incredibly frustrating is you never actually get to talk to a person who works for the company. You almost always get an answering service and then you have to wait for a call back. An hour later we were told he had an issue with his truck. Today the carpenter showed up. The work they did on installing our vent hood was great. We had some confusion over the total amount of the job since it was unclear if the $300 fee for removing the old vent was included as part of the $1500 installation fee. Apparently it was not. I was told by Elizabeth she would check on it and call me back and she didnā€™t. We spent as much on the install as we did on the vent hood so I really feel like the installation was way overpriced. I had someone else call me to charge my card after the work was completed. Clearly this company has a great deal of needed improvement for communications. I got so frustrated at one point we almost called the whole entire thing off. I probably would go with a more organized company that is better at communications next time.

    When I say they move quick, they move quick! I called them at 11 AM, they made it to the property by 1 PM, and the house had AC by 1:30 PM. They communicated with me so well through the process and followed up once it was done. Amazing!

I found Gilbertā€™s Air specialists on Googleā€™s top recommended and decided to give them a call. I was greeted over the phone with the friendliest customer support member ever, Elizabeth. They were able to get me an appointment for that same day, and my family and I were lucky enough to get David. I was so impressed with how detailed he was inspecting the house and explaining the different packages we were being offered. The installation went well, and we are grateful that David and his crew were able to get it done the day they told us it would be done.     I recently had Gilbert folks replaced the entire AC unit at my house from league city TX. David and Elizabeth did amazing job. I had a five-star experience: 1. David provided a quote for us; it was competitive 2.     Long Term ReviewHad my 30+ year old system replaced in 2020. I primarily spoke to Steven and Lee about having my system replaced. It was a difficult job because the inside unit was a very tight space. Their team went through the work to remove the drywall and install thinner drywall to make it fit. Then they replaced the outside unit.After 1 year it was having issues draining which resulted in a small leak. They came by and fixed the issue. It has been about 3 years since then and the system has worked perfectly in the Texas heat. Im happy to say I went with them over other companies.They gave me a competitive price compared to other companies and treated me with respect and curtesy. Another thing I can say is they will work tirelessly to fix any issue. A+ service from them and their team.šŸŒŸ šŸŒŸ šŸŒŸ šŸŒŸ šŸŒŸ 5 stars!

    Got power back Friday morning. After a few hours I noticed only half of house was cooling. My newer unit from Gilbert was not running. I reset breakers and waited 30 minutes before calling.I called Gilberts and they got me scheduled right away. Tech (Burt) called me on his way to my house. About 5 minutes later my unit started working and I called Burt back to let him know.No issue and Burt diverted to his next service call.Thank you for getting me scheduled and having a tech ready to arrive within an hour of my call.

    Ozzy was phenomenal and very quick to diagnose my issue. He was able to save me a bunch of money by addressing the specific fuse on my control board instead of exchanging the entire system. Very professional and does quick work. The highest compliment I can pay Gilbertā€™s Air Specialist is that they give small windows for the service techs to show up. I was given a 2 hour window and Ozzy was right on time. If you ever need HVAC services give these guys a try.

    Highly recommended. The technician arrived promptly, was extremely professional and knowledgable. We basically had an issue where one of the furnace pipes had disconnected...potentially a big issue! However, Javier came by and explained the issue, solution and walked me through exactly what he did to fix the issue. He didnt use any tape or cheap materials to get the job done. We highly recommended Gilbert Air Specialists.

    This is it. If you are tired of companies sending out a Generic Salesperson who gets his appearance fee by the AC company charging1-2 hundred dollars; then attempts to pressure sale a system for upwards of 180%; then talk to Stephen. I got an extremely fair price on 3-three ton Trane units without all the game playing. I did the research and decided on the XV18. Several good choices are available based upon your budget. My previous units last for 33 years. The install was extremely professional. I had used the same AC man for 45 years. He has retired, so I was looking for a company that I would be with for another eternity. Fantastic service. You need not look any further. If you need good and fair suggestions on which unit to purchase, Stephen will help. You will NOT regret using Gilberts Air Specialist. Mention Keith S install May 31, 2024.

    Among the six AC companies we consulted for a diagnosis and quote on replacing two condensers and an air handler at our commercial office building, these guys were the most efficient. They managed to line up the job in a few hours, a task that other companies estimated would take a couple of weeks. Their pricing is also very fair; considering the quick turnaround time and the hurdles they overcame, they offer tremendous value.As this was an emergency, they could have taken advantage of the situation and charged us more to get the job done in a day. However, their bid was the same as the companies giving a couple of weeks lead time.They provided excellent quality work and left our building in better shape than they found it.I would highly recommend Gilberts and can confidently say that you can trust them in pricing and quality of work.

    I have a complex high-end Lennox system. When the thermostat on the upstairs unit failed a couple of years ago, I struggled to find a company that could service it and when I did they were expensive and still had problems installing a new one. So when the downstairs thermostat failed recently, I figured to have trouble again. Glad I found Gilberts Air. Burt was very professional. Not only did he do a detailed and thorough analysis of the problem, he was upfront with me about the technical challenge my system presented, and kept me updated on his progress. He takes pride in his work - I felt he was giving me the same attention he would have given to his own home. He made sure the new thermostat was installed correctly and also found another part that had been damaged by the power surge that took out the thermostat, and replaced it too. Because of the previous outage, I knew what the thermostat cost. Gilberts charged a fair price, and replaced both pieces for less than what I paid for the first thermostat 2 years ago. I liked the fact that they invoiced me instead of demanding payment on the spot. Online payment was simple and fast.

    I was in need of a new condenser. I contacted this company to get a quote . The sales person I spoke with was Charles. He was able to get me a quote within my price range and was very thorough about what I would be receiving.I received a quote on Monday and the unit was installed the next day. After the technician installed the unit it would not cool. I contacted Charles and he made sure someone came back out the next day. The technician was not able to find the issue. Finally, a technician named Lee came and basically stayed until he found the issue . The issue had nothing to do with the install of the new condenser. Iā€™m happy that I chose Gilbertā€™s I donā€™t think another company wouldā€™ve given me the level of customer service I received from them. I would highly recommend.

    The specialist named David came out to our house today. I had a suspicion other companies were telling me a lot of bogus reasons about my unit needing to be replaced and why it was broken. David - who is very professional and explained everything to us thoroughly - showed up, saw it was only a clogged drain line causing a float switch to activate when too much water overflowed into the drain pan, and fixed our issues without me having to pay absurd prices. Highly recommend.

    I definitely recommend Gilbert Ac Specialist to anyone that needs service. Very professionals, friendly, polite, answer all the questions. Took their extra time to do the job right instead of cutting corners to save time and be done with it quickly. At first I was dealing with Mr.Lee when ordering the whole system. He was very professional, polite, responsive when I called him about any question even at late evening. He was here to help me anyway he could. Mr. Lee and his team came the text day to install the whole new system, came and did it. All of their crew were excellent. Around 5 pm they left and told me that Mr. Ozzie will come back the next day.Mr.Ozzie came back the next morning to install the zoning board and recheck everything to be sure that everything is working fine. Mr. Ozzie service was very exceptionally well, knows what he was doing, very polite, knowledgeable. answer every question I had for him.Thank you all for such a great service.     Called Gilberts ac and within a few hours they came to look at our home unit and found out it was a transformer was out. Ozzie was the tech that came, extremely professional, was very informative,was very quick and had our ac up and running with in less than a hour ,this company will be my go to for any repair or maintenance I will have, the price to me a good price and reasonable.     Great service, they were able to schedule my appointment quickly. Dropped off my equipment the day before. Installers were there first thing in the morning. They put down tarps so they wouldnt track in any dirt. Great to make sure they left everything as it was when they showed up. Sales rep was great as well. From my initial call made on a late Wednesday afternoon with Stephen; to the in-person inspection next day with Lee; to the four man installation crew led by Ozzy.     We are so thankful for Lee at Gilberts Air. In the middle of summer, of course, our A/C Unit went out! We called Lee and discussed the issue we were having, we didnt know what the problem was, but Lee was quick on the uptake. After explaining how Air conditioning units work, it was clear that Lee understood building sciences. He broke down the issue we were having in an easy-to-understand way, and we learned how to better maintain our unit in the future. Turnaround time was quick, and we could move back in comfortably.     Stephen was very knowledgeable about heat pumps and AC systems and talked us through several options. We chose to replace our two 13 year old ACs with continuously variable Amana heat pumps (and gas furnace auxiliary heat). The installations were scheduled quickly on a day that was convenient for us, they took place on time, and everything went smoothly. The programmable Honeywell T10 thermostat is excellent, though some people might prefer Nest; with the Amana system you can use whatever thermostat you want. We placed the remote sensors in the places that matter (bedroom) rather than where the thermostat wires had been installed (hallway). I can access the thermostats or reprogram them from anywhere over the internet. We are very happy with the units - they are quiet and efficient, and I can carry on a conversation next to the outdoor unit when it is running. We are especially happy with heat pump heating, which is much quieter inside and steadier than our old (or new) gas furnace. For normal Houston winter, a heat pump is much quieter and cheaper than heating with gas. During the freeze of Dec 2022, we had no problem staying warm; the system knows when to use the auxiliary gas furnace rather than the heat pump. We recommend heat pumps, and we definitely recommend the Gilbert team!

    Lee came out and had our furnace operational in 15 minutes. He was really an awesome guy and knew his stuff. I had another company look at it previously from NBL in Tomball. I knew he was either lied or had no clue what he was doing. But he said we needed to replace the entire unit. This con never even turned the furnace on. I got rid of him and called Lee who wasted no time getting the furnace fixed. Very honest, professional and courteous. I will use Lee from now on
