    A few months ago, in the middle of the summer, I noticed my AC just wasnt keeping the house cool like it was supposed to. When I contacted Daniel, he responded quickly and was able to come out and look at my AC promptly. He diagnosed that my refrigerant was leaking due to a faulty installation/hardware (several houses in my neighborhood had the same issue). He was able to do a temporary repair immediately, to let my AC start working again. He then did a lot of investigative work to get me a new evaporator coil for free, under warranty, from my home builder (which was doubly difficult because the installers had painted over the serial number!), and he came back to install that. I would 100% recommend Daniel for your AC or heating needs! Hes helped me and many others in my neighborhood.

    Last night, our outdoor AC unit decided to go kaput on one of the most humid nights of the year. My room hit 95 degrees this morning, and I was dying. Im tech savvy enough to know how to change a capacitor, but even with the new capacitor, the ac unit still acted like it had given up the ghost.In comes Daniel to save the day. He let me choose if I wanted the weekend charge or if we should delay the service call till Monday. When I say I wasnt built for summer? I mean it. He was out within 15 minutes of our call, he talked me through the whole process, he didnt try and nickel and dime me, he walked me through maintenance, and what we can do to make our attempt to extend the life of our machine.My dad is a disabled vet, Im post chemo, I have a kid who gets temperature based seizures. We needed this service and he could have been a total jerk and up charged the life out of this service. He was reasonable, kind and quick. I dont think I will ever use another AC company.When I say this is the best AC service I have ever gotten, I mean it. He was friendly, helpful, conscientious, amicable and personable. We got rock star service and didnt end up giving up the ghost on either our machine or our bank account. If you need service, run, dont walk to get ahold of Hills and Valleys Heating and Air conditioning. You will absolutely be glad you did.

    I came home to a wet floor around my HVAC. I found Hill and Valley heating & air conditioning on google. I called to schedule an appointment for the next day since they were about to close for the day. Daniel said he would come out to check my system without hesitation.     Cant say enough about Daniel and his team.He was able to diagnose my issue same day, had parts ready to go and my house was cold again.     I am just amazed by this company! Not only did they get my house back to cooling amazingly in this Texas heat but he had to come back and make a final tweak to the system and he remembered that my dad had a pretty serious procedure done and he asked how he was recovering. If you are looking for a caring and thorough company that knows your time and family is important than this is it. I will use them in future needs for my 2nd unit that is 20 years old if need be and I will definitely be recommending them to everyone I hear that is having ac problems. He really knows his stuff and the operation of your hvac system and the price for services was lower than other quotes I checked out.

    We came home from the hospital with our new baby. Our a/c once again was not working. We have used other companies in the past year and spent thousands.     I sent Daniel an email late in evening, not expecting to hear back until Tuesday because of the holiday weekend. He called me within 10 minutes of sending the email and was there about 20 minutes later. He worked very fast but still took the time to explain what he was doing and why he was doing it which I appreciated very much. The overall cost of the repair and diagnostic fee was far less than what we were expecting, and the service much more. He was in and out in less than an hour and we are so happy to finally have our AC back after not having it for a couple weeks.     We picked Hills & Valleys based on the great Google reviews & we werent disappointed. Daniel responded quickly to our concern about our leaking AC system & gave us a good overview of our aged systems condition, as well as reminders about the maintenance we need to do. He & Tracy did some initial cleanup with our understanding that the coil needs serious cleaning, which we are scheduling with them. He also installed a couple of small elements to the drainage system to address the issues we were seeing. Explanations were great & we saw the problems areas he pointed out. In the long run, we will definitely look to them for eventual replacement of our system.

    Our AC was cutting in and out one evening. Daniel came out and had our issue fixed within an hour of our phone call after 5p on a Tuesday. He was speedy, responsive, and fairly priced. After calling many the large AC companies in Austin and being told the earliest appointment date was 8 days out (some dates given were more than 2 weeks out), I decided to call a small local company – Hills and Valleys Heating and Air Conditioning. Daniel responded immediately and was amazing! He was able to squeeze us in the following morning due to having a morning appointment nearby, and our AC was working within two hours.     I found Daniel with Hills and Valleys on my local nextdoor app after reading a thread to which his name kept coming up with very satisfied clients in my community. Our Ac stopped cooling on a Friday evening. I called him at 9:30am Saturday morning and he was here by 12:00pm that same day. Hes a one man operation, very prompt,reasonable in price and even educated me on how to drain my ac line to to keep my Ac running efficiently. The entire install took maybe 15 minutes at that but he chose to stick around and ensure my home was cooling the way it should. Hell be my go to for annual maintenance.     The owner, Daniel, has a rare, hard-to-find quality - Honesty! He troubleshot my lower-end HVAC system finding several problem areas that made it more cost effective to replace the system. He gave me a good deal on a Rheem and diligently worked with me to resolve some unexpected issues with the Distributor/Manufacturers warranty. He was honest and forthright and I ultimately came out ahead with a better unit than I purchased. Daniel could have easily walked away but his moral sense compelled him to make things right. I couldnt ask for a better person to work with and Ill always highly recommend him and call him back for future maintenance needs.

    When my AC stopped working correctly today I gave Hills and Valleys a call as I had seen so many great things said about them here locally in Elgin. I was not disappointed. They let me know they were just down the road finishing up another call and would be over at my house in an hour. They even let me know via text when they were on the way and arrived almost exactly an hour later. They quickly got to work diagnosed some issues, took care of them and my AC was back up and running better than when it was new. From my first call to them leaving was less than 3 hours. Talk about great service especially on a 104 degree day. They’ve got my business for any issues and checkups I need from here on out. I love that they are local and Elgin based. Highly recommend!

I spoke to Daniel on Monday he was professional and had great communication about the time I could expect him at to do my diagnostic. He came out the next day at the time he said he would. My 16 year old unit was in its death throws and he informed that he could replace it. He sent me 2 quotes with options and once I decided on the unit I put half down and he could do the install on Saturday.     Honest and thorough. Won’t try to sell you stuff you don’t need. I’m a home builder and these are the only guys I will call to work on our HVAC from now on. I recently referred them to my mother-in-law when her AC wasn’t cooling. Daniel came out right away charged her system and got her cooling again. He returned shortly after and spent a lot of time crawling around the attic trying to find the leak. Most guys would just throw some leak stop in the lines or try to sell you all new copper lines. These guys are on your side, “why replace if you can repair?” And if you do need to replace they’ll keep you cooling without overheating your credit card.
