I have enjoyed my time at this complex! It is in a great area! Many great restaurants in walking distance! I love being close to the bayou and having walking trails available! The staff is great, they are quick to assist in whatever you need. Relatively quiet complex.

I would like to give a shout out and huge thank you to Virgilio who came in to help today to fix work orders I’ve had since before the Christmas holiday. I had no hot water since December 21st, but today, it’s been restored! Virgilio was so professional and very competent in that he was able to identify what’s causing my unit not to have hot water. He’s also helping fix a washer unit issue. All in all, he was very helpful and was able to explain clearly what went wrong with the units. And to the management team, Jasmine and Kimberly, thank you for continuing to help solve the issues and responding to them accordingly! I truly appreciate your patience and care 🙏🏼

These are my first apartments I lived in and I love it! Its quite, very friendly and family oriented. Thank you to Whitney at the heights apartments staff for taking such good care of me and to the management Jasmine and Kim for always going above and beyond for your residents. Im definitely renewing my lease for my 2 year! 😁

Good morning to all:I consider myself a dog lover, in fact I have 4. Unfortunately I havent been able to bring my favorite yet. But I see that the neighbors who walk their dogs do not really see them interact or coexist, since they only take them for a walk while the owner checks their social networks. For this reason, I suggest that the green area in the area behind the garages be fenced for this purpose, in fact there is already a container with garbage bags there. This area could be used as well as the western area behind the parking lots.Greetings to all.

So I been living here for a few weeks so my review should be pretty accurate. The location is amazing you walk right out to the Brays Bayou trail where you can walk/run/bike for miles without having to drive or park anywhere. I see people walk with their dogs by my unit to exercise all hours of the day which tells you how safe it feels here. There’s been a lot of renovations in the units like new appliances and finishes cool… but the extra storage the Whitney crew added makes me feel like they took their time to make sure the place was not just livable but homey if you can get that. And the staff has been just great I’m blown away by their kindness and effort really. Cecilia helped me initially and she was just so understanding of my situation which everyone has a situation right? She did everything she could for me answered a million questions and provided answers for ones I didn’t even have yet. Jasmine, the office manager has been just as helpful and more living here you’ll see them walking around the complex often which tells you things get addressed quickly and that there’s an eye on things. The maintenance guys are pros and just as friendly as the ladies I can’t believe how hard they go for this complex hard to explain but y’all it can be felt. And at night I’ll be honest at midnight I’ve seen the complex security posted near the gate just watching being vigilant and stuff. Feel real safe for those wondering about that. I’m sure there’s going to be something that might bother others but for apartment living Whitney crew and staff are doing the most to make it a safe and livable place and that’s really all you look for sometimes, right? Peace ✌🏽

Updated after move-out:It was such a great experience living here! The staff were always very friendly, and Kimberly was super helpful during my move out. I like the proximity to restaurants and the Heights area, and I loved my unit—especially for the price. Would recommend living here!Only been here a couple of weeks, but the move-in process was so smooth. Karla was so helpful as I was moving from out-of-state, and she was quick to answer any questions I had and walk me through the unit virtually! So far I love the location, and the maintenance team has been responsive during the move-in touch-up process as well. Loving it so far!

  • Review 7 (2024-08-28 - Rating: 5)

I recently moved here! Love the office staff and all of the maintenance workers I have had the pleasure of meeting. The grounds are clean and all requests are answered in a timely and pleasant manner.

  • Review 8 (2023-11-08 - Rating: 5)

I have only been a resident at Whitney at the Heights for about six weeks but so far it is a really nice place to live. The residents I have met all seem friendly and the management team (especially Cecilia Guevara) is really nice. The whole complex has a neat clean appearance and they just removed the only pothole with a whole new concrete section. The location is particularly convenient.

  • Review 9 (2023-12-07 - Rating: 5)

Toured a 1x1 with Cecilia and I must say the property was Beautiful! The unit itself was spacious and newly renovated with modern cabinetry and stainless steel appliances. The location is perfect! I would Definitely be returning once my current lease ends :)

  • Review 10 (2024-05-20 - Rating: 5)

I have no complaints of these apartments complex, we had a tornado this Thursday and the electricity went off and we just got our electricity back today. The management and maintenance team checked in with every single unit and provided us with snacks and waters, that is something you do not see in any other complex. Thank you for everything!

  • Review 11 (2022-12-06 - Rating: 4)

Review based on 1bd 1bth (A1) on the 3rd floor (vaulted ceilings) | 12 month lease:The unit is spacious considering it is only 666sqft. Since we chose a corner version, it comes with more natural lighting with an extra window shining into the kitchen. 5/5 for this version of the unit.Maintenance is timely, and the management communicates as needed. We havent run into any issues except with our move-in under the previous company. However, this current company has transitioned well and has a great goal for making it a competitive apartment in the heights: upgraded clubhouse, fitness center, and renovated models. Thankfully, we have not had to deal much with these changes since they have not started remodeling the clubhouse. I enjoy the simple coffee bar.Community is quiet and keeps to themselves. There is some attempt at community engagement, but mostly the incentives to decorate the porch. The simple dog park seems attractive for those with dogs.If you store things in your car or have attractive rims, I do not suggest living here. The entry gates are often out of repair or broken by intruders. Management has yet to find a sustainable solution for dealing with this. Usually, it is an email after the fact. The break-ins have slowed down recently though.Location can be desirable if you dont use highways during the rush hour. If you work from home, this could be the ideal place for driving during non-rush hours - everything really is 10-15 minutes away.Parking lot can feel tight when you are driving through, and people can drive through fairly fast. As of now, only 1 parking spot at least for the 1bd unit. We have two cars, so I walk across the complex to park at the garage.All-in-all, we are happy to have stayed here, but we are getting out of the noisy city. If you want to live on this side of Houston inside the Loop, I highly recommend it.

  • Review 12 (2021-11-30 - Rating: 5)

Our lease is ending soon and we will be moving out of Houston but if we are to stay, I’ll choose this place again. Love living here. We felt safe and at home. Clean complex. Neighbors are good. The apartment unit we are in is spacious, high ceilings, in unit washer and dryer, hardwood like floors, big bathroom, and large walk-in closet! (We rent in the first floor, so not sure if this is the set up in other floors.)Couple minor maintenance requests throughout the year and it was attended to promptly. The maintenance guy fixes things lightning fast I didn’t even get to ask his name.I have to also include this - we survived the snowcalypse last February in this complex with nothing more than the usual issues that everyone in the Houston/Texas area experienced. I have to commend them for that.I highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone.Location is also very convenient - close to everything and if you’re a foodie, you’ll appreciate it more.

I recently moved in and I have to say I absolutely love it here. The refinished apartment fixtures are gorgeous and it feels like a luxury to live here with a reasonable price. The office staff, especially the manager Karla have been so helpful and attentive throughout the entire move in process. I definitely see myself staying here for the next few years!

Ive had such a great experience touring with my family, thanks to Cecilia! She explained everything about the community thoroughly. I am more than certain my grandkids are loving their new home and since theyve moved in, its been so peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet and nice community.

  • Review 16 (2017-01-23 - Rating: 5)

Ive lived here for a year and havent had any problems. Office staff is great and the value for the apartment is good considering the location and the prices of others in the same area. The complex is very pet friendly and has a dog park, as well as being close to trails and a public park just down the street. There is a good mix of residents and everyone I have met has been nice. Parking is good for the most part, it can be a bit tricky finding spots for visitors if youre hosting a gathering on busy weekends(Holiday season, Super Bowl), but for residents parking is always available.

  • Review 17 (2016-12-07 - Rating: 5)

I LOVED living here. Im only moving out because Im looking to get a house. The older reviews must be a different management team because the office staff is great and have always taken care of me when Ive had issues and Ive never had a problem with security or break ins. Ive even had packages left on my doorstep and they were there when I got home. Parking is less than ideal for visitors but my visitors never had a problem finding a spot and with my reserved spot, I always had a place. I had maintenance problems but they were always quickly addressed and they were also quick to come and change air filters or light bulbs. Great space for dogs and lots of other pet owners running around! Overall, I would definitely recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a place to live!

  • Review 18 (2020-10-02 - Rating: 4)

Ive had an overall good experience living at the Crossing. The location is amazing, with many places nearby and not to mention the trail across the street. The staff is really personable, really responsive, and maintenance requests have always been taken care of fairly quickly. I like that the Crossing is a small community, as opposed to other massive apartment complexes around Houston. I wish I could give the last star, but the parking situation is not ideal. Your guests will find a parking spot or two eventually, but parking is minimal and my assigned spot is uncovered and under a tree, which means my car is filthy all the time. My suggestion would be to please provide covered assigned spots for tenants.

  • Review 19 (2019-02-17 - Rating: 5)

I really enjoy living here! The apartment complex is always clean and well maintained. I especially enjoy using the gym, consistently tidy and organized. The staff is so friendly, not to mention Gio (the manager) takes his time to get to know each resident. Also I love how its so close to everything and its dog friendly!

  • Review 20 (2017-12-13 - Rating: 5)

Ive lived in several apartments in my adult life, and this is the only one in which Ive actually said to myself (on more than one occasion), I really love my place. Ive been here for over a year and a half now, and here are the things that I really love:1. Quiet: This is the most important characteristic I look for in any new place. I really value being able to relax at home without disruption from others. Ive had a few minor issues as a result of a neighbors music, but the office has been very attentive and the issues have been relatively minor. The community seems to be include mostly young-to-middle-aged single/partnered professionals who go to work and then come have a quiet night at home. There have been no loud parties (or loud people coming back from parties), no issues with barking dogs, and no crying babies (no offense to the babies, but yall are noisy).2. Design: I live in the smallest 1-bedroom, and I really appreciate its features. Size-wise, it is cozy (probably would feel small for more than two), but the vaulted ceilings of the third floor give it a very spacious feel. The kitchen is large and includes numerous cabinets and drawers; there is plenty of storage space throughout (hall, patio, and walk-in closet); it includes a full-size, stackable washer and dryer (I didnt know how important full-sized was until I tried living with a compact-sized one); and, it has a garden tub.3. Service: I have been so impressed with the responsiveness of the office team. In other apartments Ive lived in, Ive had to contact the apartment staff multiple times to get a maintenance issue resolved. Here, they respond right away, sometimes within minutes. The manager, Gio, takes the time to get to know the residents. He always greets me by name and remembers details about my life. Also, the courtesy officer, Officer Raven, takes his job very seriously. I had an issue with a person parking in my reserved space, and he responded right away, attended to the issue thoroughly, and followed-up with me later; I really appreciated the seriousness with which he addressed my concern. 4. Price/Location: I value the location and the price. It is just inside the 610 loop (easy to hop on 610). Having lived in west Houston for a while, it is a welcome return for me to be centrally located. I didnt realize how much time I was spending driving into town. It is also relatively reasonably priced for an in-the-loop location. You will find cheaper places farther out, but it is hard to beat the price-quality-location combination here. (And, you can pay your rent online!)Because no place is perfect and in the interest of fairness, here are my few minor, personal critiques: (1) the washer/dryer location is inconvenient. It is behind the door in the bathroom resulting in me having to shuffle back and forth, open/close the door to do laundry. (2) The flooring in the kitchen/bathroom could use an upgrade. (3) I would have appreciated a fresh coat of paint throughout the apartment when I moved in. There were a few scuffs and markings on the walls. Other things to consider: While this is not a big deal to me, for some the fact that there is no pantry may be problematic. Also, the dining area is small. Again, it is not problematic for me, but if you enjoy entertaining/have a house-sized table, this might be bothersome.Honestly, I feel grateful that I get to come home to my place at the Crossing each day. I couldnt be happier that I chose to move here.

  • Review 21 (2018-04-19 - Rating: 4)

Overall my wife and I had a great experience here. The grounds are well kept, the neighbors are quiet and respectful. The maintenance team, Oscar and Pablo are very good. Maintenance issues are resolved quickly. Parking is good, having an on-site parking structure for residence and guests a huge plus.Having the bike path across the street was super convenient for taking our dog for a walk. The little thicket across the complex was a nice haven and relaxing. It’s a good location, being close to the heights and restaurants. The 610 is super close. We didn’t experience any criminal activity. There were a couple break in and management was good about letting us know. Our only problem, and the reason for only four stars is the manager Gio. At the very end of our stay ATT was installing fiber optics throughout the complex and cut a water line above our apartment. My 7 months pregnant wife came home the crew, Gio and his supervisors standing in our apartment, cleaning up the flood with our towels.Subsequently fans and dehumidifiers were brought in after part of our wall was taken down. The dew wall dust was very unsettling for my wife and the cords presented a tripping hazard for a pregnant woman. The equipment had to run all day. Gio sent us att claims department number, apologized for the inconvenience and that’s would have been it if I hadn’t pressed him to do what was in his power to do. He told us that our apartment was still liveable. We didn’t agree.

  • Review 22 (2017-10-26 - Rating: 4)

Been here for 3 years and anytime issues are promptly addressed. Since it is a smaller property, the staff is able to tend to your needs better and doesnt have so much traffic going through it. Depending on your apartment, sometimes the main Street noise can be loud but its a great place to live.

  • Review 23 (2017-07-27 - Rating: 5)

Ive lived here for over a year, AND my experience has been EXCELLENT! Raveen and Gio make living here such a great experience! They are always there to help with anything, and they go out of their way to make sure residents are satisfied. They always treat with respect, and they make you feel special! I also LOVE my two bedroom apartment! It is a mellow neighborhood, and Ive gotten to know a few of my neighbors and they are sweet and helpful as well. Honestly, I have nothing bad to say! Raveen and Gio continue being the generous people that you are and thank you for your outstanding customer service!!!! :)

  • Review 24 (2019-02-07 - Rating: 5)

We have been living at the Crossing at White Oak since August 2018 and it has hands down been one of the best apartment complexes weve lived in. Not only is everything clean and well maintained (maintenance is very quick and responsive), but Gio and Raveen make a genuine effort to actually know the residents and are always very friendly. We would recommend living here to anyone!

  • Review 25 (2017-06-23 - Rating: 5)

I enjoy, living here. When I first moved in, I had a unusual request that management really help me solve. Nothing urgent, but point being is that management didnt have to go out of their way to help me, but they did anyways, and that speaks volumes. The grounds are kept clean, I like the aparment layouts, and for the quality of the place with its location, its priced well.

The new Assistant Manager Marco was so kind and helpful with a maintenance repair. I work as a trainer at a call center, and if I could rate his communication skills, he’d get 100%. Thank you for your help and patience today.

We have been here for 6 months now, and we really love it here. The front office staff is amazing! Gio and Courtney are very helpful and polite, and the outside Maintenance crew is on POINT!

  • Review 30 (2019-04-09 - Rating: 4)

Great small community, a little over priced for what you get, but the area is great. The parking situation is HORRIBLE 95% of the time, none of your guest have parking inside the complex. Parking outside the gate is OK, but we do have break ins with cars not on the property.
