Long post alert: I recently moved to this complex and so far I love it. Shaun Brunick was my leasing agent and he made the entire move-in process smooth and easy. I also spoke to Ms. Abby & Ms. Ashley over the phone, who were also extremely helpful and nice. I’ve dealt with terrible management companies in my previous apts so it was really refreshing. I loved that there was a move-in orientation with a welcome packet. They also placed a welcome card and a cute candle in my unit which I thought was so cool. The unit was nice and clean on move-in day (another first). The staff, including maintenance are awesome. Work orders are completed quickly, the grounds and community are always clean. It seems like the residents do their part to keep the property up. Beautiful landscape with gazebos and nice areas to walk my dog. Beautiful dog park with two secure areas. Awesome gym. I can’t wait for it to heat up so I can hang out at the pool, which I never felt comfortable doing at my previous apts. I could say much more about this place. Absolutely love it here ❤️

Were so excited to be here. Its only been a day and a half since move in day and Ive already fallen in love with this apartment and its potential. I really want to thank Shaun for everything hes done for us from the moment we stepped on property and he showed us around, to following up on things we said we were interested in. His follow up email after we left is what really made us jump on the opportunity and Im so glad we did. Hes made everything so personal and easy, answered every question and so when we moved in it was pretty seamless. We dont even have our furniture here yet and it already feels like home. Every day is a new surprise so far Im loving it!

From the perfect location to the top-tier service, I couldn’t ask for a better place to call home.Maintenance has always been quick to address any issues—no waiting around for days, which I really appreciate. It’s clear that the staff here genuinely care about keeping the property in excellent shape. Speaking of the staff, they’ve been fantastic! Everyone is so accommodating, but I especially wanted to give a big shoutout to Ashley, the assistant office manager.Ashley is incredible—anytime I have a concern or question, she responds promptly and always goes above and beyond to help. I can be a bit needy at times, but she never makes me feel like I’m asking too much. Her kindness and efficiency have made my experience here even better!If you’re considering moving, I highly recommend Villas at Legacy. It’s absolutely worth every penny for the level of comfort, convenience, and service you get. This has truly been a wonderful place to live!

Wanted to give a BIG THANK YOU to Shaun! We are selling our 4 bedroom, 3 bath house and needed to move into an apartment for a few months. Needless to say downsizing into a 2 bedroom apartment has been a struggle!! Shaun has been amazing to work with! He answers all of our questions promptly and never acts like he is bothered to answer our questions either (and we have had a lot)! The most challenging part of this transition was not being able to see the actual apartment that we would be moving into to measure the space for what we could fit into the apartment. Shaun worked hard for us to see the apartment as soon as it was available and that has been the most beneficial thing so far! Shaun has worked hard for us and always with a smile on his face! He has gone above and beyond and we couldnt be more grateful! Thank you Shaun for working for your customer and helping us through this transition!

We moved to Plano from NJ and were weary because we are not from the area. We immediately felt at home upon arrival. Shaun couldnt have been any nicer to us. Through out the whole leasing/moving in process, he was extremely kind and helpful. A month or so after signing the lease, we got a call regarding the apartment we were renting out had water damage, due to the rain and the roof being repaired. Shaun offered us the same floor plan but on a different level and made sure we had what we requested, hardwood floors and the same quote. He promptly answered all of our questions and took our concerns seriously. We are very pleased and excited to live here. :)

We have lived here for 2 years already. We absolutely love it here. The only reason we are leaving is due to moving cities. We never had any issues with our apartment, maintenance wise. We had great neighbors that were no disturbing. We never had any issues at all actually. Everything was a smooth transition, renewing our lease was easy like 123. They likes to keep the grounds maintained and have people come and mow every Monday. The trash valet is SO convenient. The complex is close by to Legacy west and the colony. Its a perfect place for young adults wanting to have fun with their surrounding amenities. We love leaving here. The floor plan was perfect for my roommate. They have more space compared to other complexes around. If I could give 6 stars I would. Loved being here.

The office staff: Jay, Sarah, Ashley and Miriah are the best office team I’ve ever had while living in an apartment. That’s a huge plus! The maintenance team (I do not know their names) are very responsive and keep the grounds very clean. I highly recommend Villas at Legacy! Keep up the great work. I have lived at this property for 6 years. The property is clean and I feel safe in this area.The management and maintenance team are phenomenal. I am a middle-ground level, high maintenance tenant (important things!). The staff is consistently proactive in addressing any concerns I have with a sense of urgency and professionalism. The previous leasing team was awesome too, but I especially appreciate the new management and staff prioritizing a high standard of communication to the tenants. Whether it be responding to a call/email, or important information/updates for the community, it is always within the day. It is so important to go above and beyond these days. Thank you Jay, Sarah, Ashley, Miriah, Bertha, Gabrielle, Aldo, Jorge, Javier, and there might be one more I cant remember but I will and update.

I have lived here for over a year and a half and have no complaints. The staff is friendly and willing to help when and wherever needed. Austin (one of the leasing managers) once loaned me his car jack so I could change out a flat on my own car. I thought that was awesome of him! And anytime I see any of the staff, they smile, say hi and are always warm in greeting people around them.I find the property to be very quiet. The walls on all sides of my apartment are sound proof, however the floor/ceiling could use some insulation to reduce noise. Not that my neighbors are noisy and I try my best to reciprocate that same respect. But there are moments.I also love that it’s pet friendly and it is very clear that my dog feels safe and welcome here. He’s loved by our neighbors and safe when we walk around the community or just hang out at the dog park. Though the dog park could use a face lift due to a new resident’s dog digging a little too much near the fence.There’s a nice public dog park across the way, walking trails and beautiful scenic views. Plus, gas, grocery and shopping are near by. And if you need access to the tollways, DNT, 121, and George Bush turnpike are only minutes away. So it’s a win-win!The apartments are beautiful, spacious and very homey! I have yet to find other communities that actually let you make your home your home. And trust me, I like that I can make myself a home. (I have plants and a dog. Other communities won’t allow that!)Overall, my whole experience here has been worth it and I’m glad I have stayed as long as I have and have no intention of leaving any time soon!Thanks to the staff and good neighbors for making this such a good home for me and my dog!

I have lived at the complex for about a year. I Recently experienced a flood in my apartment. I was so upset upon discovering it. But the maintenance staff Brian jumped to action so quickly it took all my stress away. He is definitely a leader and quick thinker. Due to his hard work and quick thinking all the water was was cleaned and carpet pulled within an hour and a half of discovery. He did all of this while being cheerful and optimistic. He truly is an assist to the property. You rarely find employees with such a good spirit and dedication to their jobs these days!

I am currently renting an apartment with my wife and we both love it here. I dont understand why people report so many problems with the office staff. People need to remember they arent the only people living here and that some expectations are unrealistic given the circumstances. There are hundreds of other people that live here as well and at times we all have to be patient and wait for things to be worked on or for our questions to be answered. The front office staff has always been kind, helpful, and knowledgeable on just about everything. I say just about because each staff member is trained in their specific area. The apartments look great, are in a great community with friendly residents, and the price is wonderful. We have paid a lot more for a lot less and out of three apartments in Plano this is by far is number one. I cant wait to renew my lease and spend another year here. Thank you century legacy village for making this place my home.

The apartments are very nice. I almost never hear any noise coming from my neighbors apartments through the walls), so the insulation must be pretty good. My electric bill is very reasonable as well. The only things Ive ever called maintenance about have been relatively small but they always take care of it quickly. The office hosts resident socials every month, which are free and a great way to meet your neighbors. The office staff has improved greatly since they got rid of Jessica. Im pretty sure all the bad reviews regarding office staff were attributed to her. She was awful. I do, however, have two complaints. First, I have a mud pit instead of a yard. I have asked them to lay down sod or seed it but they wont because of the water restrictions in the City of Plano. Its an excuse, pure and simple. Second, they try to go up on rent by over $100 every time I renew my lease. Ive lived here for over two years and if they try to go up again, Ill be forced to move. I cannot justify paying over a thousand dollars a month for a one bedroom apartment. I could own a house for a little more. Oh, and the gates do seem to be broken more often than they work.

This complex is under new management and apartments and outside are being updated. Went there to get my son an apartment and staff was great and updated apartments are nice. Had some very minor issues when moved in, they painted all the cable Jacks. But so far so good. They even were able to get me help moving a couch up the stairs. Definitely worth a look.

I rented on this property from 2014 until 2020. Yes, I did like the apts and the floor plans, the pool area etc. In my years there, the property had 4 different management companies....some better then others. For the most part, when there were issues, they were addressed . I had several....bees and wasps nests on my porch that took several weeks to resolve, no trash pickup, noisy neighbors, etc. Then there were issues that took months to resolve....pot smoking neighbors whose habit caused my apartment and everything in it to smell like Marijuana on a daily basis, putting me on a list for a garage when I moved in and then giving away garages to newer rental tenants... actually took me until 2019....5 years.... to get a garage. But ...I still enjoyed living there. My only reason for moving in December was the fallout from COVID because I couldnt afford the rent anymore. Being a long time tenant, I would have thought they would have helped me during this difficult time, but nothing was done to help. Its now been 3 months since I moved and I have called several times regarding the return of my security deposit as I left my apartment spotless. Still have not gotten my deposit money back so not pleased.

Im sharing my review as Ive had lots of issues lately in my apartment community but like any other community there are pros and cons. I wouldnt dare think that I am the only resident and that I need to be first in line at all times. Ive been a resident for approx. 3 years and Im on my 3rd unit. My 1st move was due to my apartment needing to be upgraded, my 2nd unit Im moving out of because of flooding issues so Im praying this 3rd unit will be the one for me. I could be upset and unreasonable but with each move the apartment manager Sam has been more than helpful. I have some issues with the maintenance team but I if I contact Sam or even Carlos they will expedite the issue and have it resolved. I moved here from Michigan 4 years ago for work and living here opposed to my 1st apartment in The Shops of Legacy (which was a nightmare) has been great. I feel safe which is very important to me because I have no family here. If you consider making The Villas At Legacy your home, make the decision based off of your own needs. Reviews are good but remember most people submit reviews once they are angry (lol) I could be very upset about some things Ive endured but the staff makes it easier to deal with.Thank YouLisa H

I have lived here for almost 2 years now and every complex has pros and cons. A perfect place to live is impossible to find. Fortunately when Greystar took over, I had several communications with the assistant manager, Laurie who has been on top of things from the beginning. She, as well as Angie, have responded and taken care of any issues I have had. They are making major improvements to the area. With construction, it is a pain point, but Im sure the end result will be much improved. I feel that it is a safe location and very accessible to other things. Most people review harshly because of what is almost always a misunderstanding or they didnt get what the response wanted at the time. I think the Greystar team is doing a good job improving things. Im almost certain dealing with personalities is not an easy task to handle.

Great experience so far! My apartment feels like home and almost got it unpacked and set up with my old stuff and new stuff! Hailee and management have been very helpful from the start of my interest in the community, to paperwork, and now move-in!

I just left this property & I want to share that I am doing backflips over the excellent Customer Service I received! My Visit started with a Greeting from the Manager Jay ! Jay asked if I had been helped yet & I replied no Jay then directed me to another area where he said Ashley would help me ... Jay also said feel free to grab a beverage & snack while I waited for Ashley ! Ashley was very professional & provided the exact information I asked for ! I was shown a model & this is definitely going on my list as a contender! YaY for this Experience! Thank you Jay & Ashley for acting like you truly cared about me & helping me ! Great Eye Contact. Bravo !

The Villas at Legacy is a community I very happily call home. Along with the quiet, safe community and friendly respectful neighbors, I am delighted to have such a competent, friendly, and approachable staff.Sam, Justin, and the Villas at Legacy team, are always professional and presentable. I know my maintenance requests will be taken care of in 24 hours (immediately for emergency maintenance), because of Carlos and the phenomenal Maintenance crew.Posts from 1 Year Ago failed to mention the massive change (for the better), which occurred at that time. Of course there were expectablegrowing pains, as with any other business changing ownership, staff, and even the [community] name!The Villas at Legacy are only getting better, undergoing substantial unit and community renovations. With the updated transformations, excellent location, and phenomenal staff, I look forward to continuing calling the Villas at Legacy my Home

We love our office staff & maintenance team at Villas! Ruby, christine, and Angie are nothing less than SUPERSTARS! We plan on staying as long as this team is around! They truly are like family!In response to the review below... not sure if he has the right place... I get packages on a regular basis and at times the office has called or texted me personally to let me know I have packages available for pick up.I’ve never had an issue getting ahold of the office... in fact one time I showed up to the office at 6:07 when the office closes at 6, they unlocked the door, let me in and handled my issue until 6:55... I’ve always respected them & have always received the same in return! Im proud to be here and proud of the management staff here!

I’ve been here for 8 months now, and I’m so glad to hear that grey star has came into the community, i’m finally able to get in contact with people in the office and have all my questions answered. I’ve rented with grey star as management previously and was very disappointed when I moved to a new place under different management, but let me tell you I am beyond estatic right now. The young man in the office I spoke with over the weekend was very friendly and made me laugh. I now know the property is in the best of hands! Definitely come check out the Villas because you won’t just be at home you’ll feel like your taken care of by the best of family.

So far we love it here. The staff is very helpful, maintenance is prompt and efficient with any service requests. We like the swimming pool area and enjoyed the gym. Also the location is a big plus, so easy to get to all of the best spots in town.

It’s an average grade apartment complex. It’s clean, safe, and in a nice location. Built in the 90s. Aspects about it which show the age--apt grade cabinets, sinks, stove, fridge, and dishwasher.Green space in and around the complex is great. Other complexes which are newer have less green space. It is very dog friendly.There are few apt complexes this side of town which are assigned to Brinker. This section of town is dominated by expensive homes [Avignon on Windhaven and Willow Bend]. Because there are few apt complexes serving this area, the prices are artificially high.We’re here for the school. We moved here from out of state and not ready to buy a house.It is quiet-- even with the number of dogs here. The dog park and pool are nice amenities which are adequately maintained.There are sidewalks on the streets around the complex and a biking path which runs along White Rock Creek behind the Creekside and Domain Apt complexes.Plenty of parking in the complex. In over a year, haven’t seen the complex filled.Rent and other fees-- Monthly base rent is paid to the complex. A 3rd party company also sends you a bill for metered water usage [and sewer], valet trash, pest control, and a service fee. Sun through Thurs, pick up bags of trash left outside [by 8pm] of apts and bring to the on-site dumpster. There is a charge of $18.00 per month for this service. There is a separate dumpster near the garbage dumpster for recycling. The $18 doesnt include recycle p/u. None of the residents use the provided trash receptacle since it’s so small. They leave their trash bags outside. There is a monthly $10.49 pest control fee. They have not once come by to treat the inside of the apt for pests. The 3rd party charges a service fee for billing you, $2.50 monthly. For example- my Nov bill is a total of $71.45. When I log onto the Century Legacy website to pay the rent I see the $71.45 line item added to my rent.Electricity is deregulated. Choose the supplier and billed direct. The windows in the complex are old single pane. The heat and a/c go out the windows. Due to the age of complex the insulation is lacking. The location of apt [1st floor vs. 3rd floor, east facing vs. west, etc] will play a big factor in your experience. Monthly electric ranges from $100 to $270 [150 to 800 kWh per week] depending on the temps of the season etc. Hot water, heat, and a/c are all a part of the electric bill.
