    Village by the Sea Apartments in Galveston is truly a hidden gem! From the moment I moved in, I’ve been impressed with the friendly and helpful management team who go above and beyond to ensure residents feel at home.The location is unbeatable – waking up to ocean breezes and being steps away from the beach makes every day feel like a vacation. The apartments are modern, clean, and spacious, with well-maintained amenities like the pool, fitness center, and beautifully landscaped grounds.I also love the sense of community here.     Great Location! You can walk to the seawall and Randalls. The apartments are nice and the area is very clean with great landscaping. Great for spending sometime outside with the pups!

    This complex is equipped with a responsive and friendly staff, a wide variety of units to chose from. I spoke to a tenant who’s been here for two years and about to leave, she said she has always felt safe and of sound mind living here. The pricing is modest, and the complex has two pools. 👍 I love living here and I highly recommend this complex.

    Ive lived here a little over a year and Im always impressed with the efficiency and promptness of the maintenance staff. The property is well maintained, with plenty of areas for my dog to enjoy the outside. Upon my move-in, the office staff was extremely helpful and assisted me every step of the way. I primarily communicated through email and I was able to quickly get answers to questions. The property is only a quick 5-minute walk to the beach, restaurants, and grocery stores. Overall, living here has allowed my family and me to experience all Galveston Island has to offer.

    Been here for many years and absolutely love it! The two ladies, Morgan and Vanessa, in the office are very helpful and friendly! The maintenance men are great at fixing things correctly, and timely, even on weekends and late nights. The pools are always clean and it’s always walk to beach if that’s more your style!

    I’ve lived at several apartments and this has definitely been my favorite. The girls in the office are incredibly helpful and go out of their way to make sure work orders get fulfilled in a timely manner. I’ve never had any issues which weren’t addressed immediately and they’re very responsive and friendly.Location is great and improvements are consistently being made to the property to make sure things are clean and up to date.

    Morgan was super helpful. Called to find out about moving in to the property and she answered all my questions! When I came to see the property I was impressed with how clean it was. Vanessa showed me the model and also answered all mine and my wife’s questions. We will be relocating soon and plan on making this our new home.

    Friendly staff and great neighborhood. Just moved in so I will update this review later. Very satisfiedUPDATE: Ive been living in my apartment for 4 years now and I will like to say that I love Morgan and Vanessa as staff management and they are very helpful and amazing! Greystar is the new company that has brought these apartments in the last year and I do not like this company too much because they are more worried about the outside appearance than inside. If it werent for Morgan and Vanessa I would have been moved by now. I will update more later on.

    I have lived here for four years. The openness and the lush foliage beside greens Bayou was one of the things that drew me to this place. It is pet friendly with lots of receptacles so it stays clean. Maintenance team is a number one Ive never gone 24 hours after a problem was identified before it was corrected. The office staff is always been friendly and very helpful with anything Ive had a problem with. Having two swimming pools is a big plus because its never crowded. Exterminators come on a weekly basis and so Ive never had a problem with bugs and that in Galveston is a big plus. I highly recommend by the Sea

    I have been living here for about 9 months and absolutely love it. The Maintenance always takes care of work orders in a timely manner, as well as the office staff. If you ask, they will try their best to fix or help. It is just a short walk to the beach as well as Wal-Mart and Randalls. The pools are always clean, as I use them almost every day. Also, the landscaping and greenery on the property is just so beautiful to be around. 100% recommend living here and hope to stay for many years.

    This was a great place to live! I felt safe my entire year here. The gate is always closed and if there are any issues with it they are promptly fixed. The complex is very nice, always kept clean and neat. The front office staff is accommodating and friendly, always happy to help with any issues that arise - you can tell they actually care about you as residents and not just paying customers. The maintenance is quick to address issues. There is never an issue parking, there are plenty of spaces (not always necessarily right outside your unit if you come home late, but a little walk wont kill you!). The pools are great too, very clean and a great place to have friends over or hang out by for few hours! Definitely recommend checking out Village By the Sea

    I love living in this complex. The employees here are great and have always been prompt with helping. The walking trail is perfect and we love being so close to the water. A block away from the beach and a little water reserve in the back of the property. There are two pools which are always maintained. Weve been here for a couple of years and have no plans to move. I love that the complex is secure and the gate closes after each vehicle. That extra security is nice. The people who live here are wonderful and no complaints with noise. All around I would recommend this property.

    Much is being done to improve village by the sea. maintenance is always done quickly and efficiently ... close to the sea and local stores. Some areas still need work ie neighbors and late night noise. Pools are always kept clean and tidy as is the garden areas. Trash emptied regularly. postal service area does not take large parcels and have to be collected from post office all the time (not great) if you receive a fair few.

    The best apartment complex on the island. Location, appearance, up keep, customer service. Beautiful grounds. Competitive rent prices. Secure gated grounds. Good internet reception. Three minute walk to beach and stores. Laundry rooms (if you need them) have new, clean w/d you can use an app to pay. Rent pay app is easy also. Recently they added complimentary garbage pick-up from your front door with provided bins. Always felt safe living there as well.

    I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about this place. I lived here for 2 years. Maintenance is great. They respond very quickly to any problems. I only had a problem once with the garbage disposal and it was fixed the same day. Management is also great! Morgan who works in the office is very nice. It’s a very quiet property that is well maintained. I only moved out because we moved into a house but I definitely recommend moving here for those looking for an apartment on the island.

    My wife and I lived here just over a year, and now that we are moved out I can give a 100% honest review.I was a great place to live, people were quiet, and it was a very dog friendly place. Whenever we did have small issues, the maintenance was very quick to fix things. If there was ever an issue regarding anything else Morgan, Laurie, and Hailey were very sweet and helpful. My wife and I were sad to leave the place because we had gotten so attached, but if we ever need to move back to an apartment on the island this is where we would go. Im not sure what some of the bad reviews were talking about, and some of them sound like they didnt read their contract correctly. If you are looking for a place on the island to live, this place is perfect.

    This is the nicest apartment complex in Galveston. The girls in the office are very friendly and always smiling. Haley and Lori make it a point to say hello and ask how we are doing every time I see them. Edgar and Manuel do a wonderful job of making sure the complex looks nice and fix any maintenance issue we may have as soon as possible. I have never had a problem living here and always feel safe. Excellent Job Village by the Sea Team!

    Living in the Village by The Sea, I know that I am at home!!! This is my 1st year anniversary here and Im definitely staying indefinitely. WHY? The staff & maintenance team are SUPERB. Any problems or concerns are attended to and corrected on the same day. In addition, the entire complex is kept immaculate with a constantly present staff. The safety and level of comfortably I feel in the neighborhood and the location so near to the beach also make it the best around.Celebrating my first anniversary, I value that I am among professionals who know how to integrate business with personal relationships to foster a sense of family & home. They deserve the highest rating possible because they are constantly interacting with the community of Village by the Sea and making everything run smoothly, which makes it THE place to live. Congratulations & Thank you for ALL you do ...Lori, Hailey, Chuck, Manuel, Craig, Edgar & Gloria deserve acknowledgment for co-creating a healthy and happy living space!!!

    Moved in this past summer, and it’s been good so far. Maintenance responds fairly well to our requests, and we’ve had no issues communicating with the office staff. We live near the second pool area, and I always see one of the maintenance workers cleaning and maintaining the pool every morning. It’s great to see the pool clean when we walk by.Parking hasn’t been an issue, but just wished the other tenants would learn how to park within the lines. Tenants drive pretty fast within the complex when they shouldn’t be. Also allowing their pets to leave their droppings on the grass here and there. Honestly, my only complaints are about the tenants here. Parties and late night social gatherings happen a lot. There’s actually one going on as I type this review. Complex policy is that it is mandatory quiet time after 10PM, yet the “adults” want to keep blasting their music after such time. Kinda sucks that the tenants have no common sense about how loud they are and don’t care about the fact that other people live in the area; some who have children such as myself.Didn’t know I moved back into my college apartment living again. Was told that they have courtesy officers that live on site who are with the Galveston Police Department so maybe I’ll see if they can handle such issues here.

    I am a new resident at VBTS, but we are very happy so far. We reserved an apartment months ago before moving to the island and once we arrived, we looked at many different complexes on the island to make sure we made the right choice. VBTS is comparable to all the ones we looked at and won us over for several reasons. To name a few: the grounds are well kept including the pool and the security gates, it has a nice community feel, its walkable to the beach, its close to many stores, and the staff is very friendly. It also has quite a bit of storage compared to other apartments in the area (the 2 bedroom has 2 full walk-in closets and a storage closet on the patio in addition to spacious cabinets throughout).Everything went smoothly the day we moved in and the apartment was in good shape. There have been a few maintenance things but they have been taken care of quickly. The maintenance staff is also incredibly friendly and thoughtful.In our limited experience here so far, we would highly recommend it. Hopefully we will continue to be happy living here!

    Absolutely delighted with my choice to stay here! My husband and I moved from Michigan and if anything went right about our move it was our choice of a home! As with any new move in our apartment had a few issues like the disposal needing changing and a flea problem but they are immediately taken care of and I mean immediately. Like within the next hour if you report by noon with constant email updates about service order and its progress. The entire team is so helpful and pleasant and the staff is very honest with their jobs. Any apartment complex will have a few problems but how this management takes care of its residnets and takes them seriously is commendable. Thats the most vivid difference I felt when I compared to all other properties on the island( I visited at least 17 other apartment complexes) We got a good rate and Hailey helped us get every possible discount. The process was smooth and easy. Hailey and Charles were always there to answer my questions which even sometimes my husband felt were a little silly! Laurie and the rest of the staff are equally competent. The location is ideal, walking distance to Walmart, Randalls and the beach and still very quiet. Really happy with my choice so far and hope it stays the same way (touchwood).

    Morgan, the office manager, is so so amazing! She is the most helpful one in the office and has always been wonderful at assisting me with anything I need! Whenever I have an issue I know I can go to her and she’ll be the first one to make something happen! She will always go out of her way to assist you! She’s a beautiful person inside and out! Morgan 100% deserves a raise for everything she has done for me!

    I love it here, maintenance is timely in addressing any issues and everyone in the office is helpful and friendly. I have small children and we love the pools, and the location. We can walk just a block up to the seawall and go on our adventures. No complaints here overall great place to live.

    I really love this apartments, the employees are amazing, they are always fast when I request something, maybe the only one thing they need is a small gym it doesn’t matter if I have to pay more in the utilities for that, but the rest is amazing, it is a really good place for living, it’s so quiet, clean and nice, my best experience in apartments in Galveston

    Came to these apartments 2 years ago. We moved from San Antonio and didnt have much time to look around but glad we made a good choice. The apartments are well kept. The first floor ones are renovated and in better shape than the 2nd and 3rd. However, we lived in the second floor one and it was a nice apartment. Harly did I need something to be fixed and if needed was done in in a timely manner. The maintenance team is great and efficient. The management is awesome! Especially Laurie, the manager, who has always been very kind and attentive to any issue that would come by.The apartments are located in the heart of Galveston with walking distance to Randalls and Walmart and of course the Beach.We had a great time living therI highly recommend these apartments.

    Ive lived here for a few years and the place is absolutely wonderful. The staff in the office are great and always friendly, anytime I need something fixed they are on top of it, and anytime I have a question they are always willing to answer. I highly recommend this place. The location is so convenient and it is a beautiful place. Who ever said the office people are terrible were clearly at the wrong office.

    I cant think of anything I dont like about this place. I love the location (walking distance to Randalls and the beach), as the staff here is wonderful and friendly. The bayou around the back of the complex is quiet and serene. HIGHLY recommend this complex to anyone looking for a wonderful place to live in Galveston.

    They would get a five, I love it here and love the staff. Maintenance has always been out the same day I turn in a work order. The landscaping is beautiful. The only problem is there isnt enough parking.
