We just moved in with the help of Ginger who is absolutely wonderful and super duper helpful, and Luciana who is friendly, knowledgeable, and really cares about your needs. We had a couple maintenance issues that needed attending to upon moving in and they have been completed in a timely fashion. We really love the location and the complex is beautiful with a nice view of the nearby golf course. Glad to be here!!

I’ve been here a year and am about to renew my lease. All the trees, nearby walking and bike trails, and being on Chase Oaks golf course is what does it for me. Also, the leasing office is now more helpful than ever, specifically Luciana (who takes her job seriously) is always eager to help all residents in any way she can, she’s very proactive!

The first thing that I absolutely love about this apartment community is the amount of greenery that you see inside the whole apartment complex and even around the buildings. Searching for an apartment is a tedious task with so many things to consider such as the price, location, community & comparisons with the different choices on offer, that you don’t want anymore hassles on top of it. And that is why I think, Nikol Ballard (Assistant Manager) is doing a commendable job by making this process a little bit easier than it tends to be. Right from the day on which my tour was scheduled, she has been extremely patient and helpful in trying to find the right fit for me. She brought about a sense of comfort by keeping everything light-hearted that I did not feel rushed into making my decision. Nikol is definitely one happy soul who seems to enjoy her work while taking it seriously at the same time and thanks to her, I was able to find a suitable apartment for myself. I also like the facilities offered such as the gym, swimming pool and the beautiful event space that they have on the other side of the leasing office although I haven’t got a chance to use them up till now. I do love sitting at the little spot (gazebo) that they have with a fireplace and ambient lighting & comfortable chairs. This community feels safe to me and I love the proximity to the Oak Point Nature reserve where I love to go for walks/jogs or cycling sometimes. Cinemark is at walking distance for movie lovers like me which is a win as well.Apart from the price point for my apartment which I felt is a bit too high, I really am enjoying living at this community. Kudos to Nikol again for helping make this whole experience of apartment shopping a lot less stressful and much more enjoyable. Special thanks as well for sharing a delicious chocolate with a person who sits on the fence about his liking for chocolates 🤗

There are no other words that can explain the most beautiful apartment that I have ever seen in a log time for an affordable price. I feel like God has really answered my prayers. I meet with a young lady name chalees last weekend and she was so intelligent and answered all my concerns that I had about the apartment I was interested in. I moved in Feb 9th to a one bedroom here and honestly couldn’t be happier with this place. Mainly because the trees and acreage, but also the leasing office has been outstanding in addressing me on a personal level. Water heater went out and within a few days Ahmad from property management had a brand new, tall water heater installed. Thanks Ahmad And Virginia for being so kind!

Sharing our moving in experience at this place. We recently moved in and immediately noticed few gaps in the apartment readiness. We brought it to the attention of Manager Cassidy and we are glad she had most of it fixed the very next day, and had a few non-essential items queued for later. Thanks to her and her team that the moving in was less stressful. Also, happy to see the welcome gift, a good gesture.

I respect everyone’s experience however had I listened to most of these reviews I would have missed out on a great community. A change of perspective and a little patience and understanding can go a long way. I recently moved in, I have been here for a week. My apartment was not fully move in ready because they are in the middle of remodeling units and recently post holidays I understand working with vendors and contractors can be a hassle so I was patient through the remainder of the process. Kayce has been nothing short of amazing at providing exceptional service by prioritizing my move in needs and finding a resolution to getting all things handled at an expedited timeframe fully assuring I am being taken care of. Everything has been resolved in matter of less than 24-28hrs. She is AMAZING and so sweet! They do provide a maintenance emergency line which worked phenomenal. Both Mark and Terry have been amazing at resolving all maintenance issues. Lastly Druanne is such a ray of sunshine, extremely empathetic and just an amazing human. The staff so far has welcomed me with so much warmth, kindness and support. looking forward to my journey here.

The community feels safe and relatively quiet but Ive had my fair share of issues when it comes to maintenance requests. Norma has been my saving grace. Shes made sure things have gotten taken care of in a timely manner. Apartment living is difficult, thats for sure.

It is not a secret that there are many issues with Thornbury. The staff has changed frequently, maintenance is slow and sometimes doesn’t bother to even try to fix issues. I’ve seen several managers come and go the last 15 months and the property continued to look unkept. Several months ago I was lucky enough to contact the office and get Druanne on the phone. She is the reason I’m giving the community 4 Stars! Since our first encounter, she has ensured and taken the time to do what no one ever had before. She made sure things were fixed, she followed up and always professional. It is not always easy to get everything done and fixed in a timely manner and before, when this occurred there was no communication and the office barely would pick up the phone. Now without hesitation Druanne is very open and transparent and giving updates. Sometimes it’s not always good news but with her openness and honesty it is definitely makes issues easier to take and knowing she will do everything she can to make it right it feels good to have her on our side. The community itself needs a lot of work but you have done something great bringing on Druanne.

Had a wonderful leasing experience with the management team and staff. Mine and my roommates applications were a bit complicated and lengthy, due to our own locations (out of state) and financial standings, but the office management was patient and thorough and very informative every step of the way. I also love that they can always be easily reached, and are genuinely interested in building solid relationships with their future tenants. Cheers!

I dealt with Ashlee and Kaitlyn during the leasing process and they were both so helpful in answering any questions I had. I found a few things that needed taken care of before I move in, and Kaitlyn wrote up a maintenance request right then. I love the section and the view where my apartment is located and am excited to move in!

Update. 5 years and Im still here. My apartment could use some update but it definitely still a nice place to live. Parking issues have been resolved.I have been here almost two years. The apartment complex is not as horrible as the reviews. I agree the parking is upsetting. I pay $35 for covered parking and another $85 for garage because like most we have a two car household. Trash valet is ok but I hate having to walk over other people’s trash in the hallways because they don’t want it by their door. My water bill is higher than it has ever been in my life. Also Texas weather is too unpredictable to have apartments on a system that switches from heat and air. Last complaint is the electricity goes out often. Sometimes a few minutes and sometimes hours so be prepared to reset those clocks.Pros. I don’t have many issues but if I do, maintenance is very prompt with solving issue. The pool area is beautiful and is cleaned daily. Due to shade the pool is ice cold even in the summer but you get use to it and it’s a welcomed summer refresher. It’s quiet at nights. Juliana is my fav and has taken great care of any issues since I got here in early 2017. Just remember no apartment is perfect and I have stayed in over a dozen my 15 years in Dallas Fort Worth area. I’m content until I move again.

I am 100% satisfied with Normas service. She went above and beyond to help me. She answered all my questions and concerns. I was pleased with her attentiveness. If I stay longer its because of her. All my maintenance requests have beenmet and completed. She is customer oriented. I was upset when I walked in the office and she calmed me down and helped me with my requests

I really do not understand half of these poor reviews! My husband and I have lived here since September - we are a first floor unit, which is one of the larger ones. We havent had any trouble at all with heating or A/C. Any time weve needed maintenance to come, theyve come in a very timely manner - not only that, but they call me ahead of time to give me a heads-up so that I can be home as they know I dont like folks coming in and out of my apartment without me home. This is a HUGE thing for me, which I appreciate more than words can describe.Stormi and Brittany in the leasing office are INCREDIBLE! They are always, ALWAYS helpful and accommodating. Maintenance has always been very pleasant to us, and I see them working 7 days a week sometimes! This is a massive complex, and there are only a few of them. They do a good job.As far as folks complaining about pests - newsflash, this is an older complex and we live in TEXAS, pests are NORMAL! My husband and I moved from a brand new Greystar property, where we lived on the 3rd floor. The entire complex had pests. It doesnt matter how much you spray, etc. there will be pests. Further, I wouldnt even consider the pests a problem - again, we live on the first floor and weve seen maybe a handful of ants and 3 or 4 tiny roaches since we lived here...in the course of 6 months. I would hardly call that a problem. Also, we use Thieves cleaner and peppermint oil around our home, which are natural deterrents for pests - I highly suggest it! Now, because of so many people complaining about pests they send in MANDATORY exterminators every other month, at which point we are required to empty all of our cabinets, and vacate our homes with our pets for hours so they can spray these harsh chemicals. To me, this is a BIGGER inconvenience and pain than anything anyone else has to complain about, and for this reason I have only given 4 stars. I understand the necessity, however, so as to address SO MANY complaints. Its just unfortunate for those of us who dont have the pest problem and who wish to eliminate harsh chemicals from their living space.My husband and I like living here, it is very quiet, we like our neighbors and the leasing office is very helpful/accommodating. We have a reserved parking spot and also pay for a garage - its totally worth it. My guests have never ever had issues with guest parking either. Theres only been a few times that the trash concierge hasnt come, but then we just walk our trash to the dumpster, big deal. Its easier to just bring the trash to the dumpster anyway since trash concierge will only take ONE bag of trash - no cardboard, nothing. The dog park is huge, Ive never seen such a big dog park at an apartment complex, and they provide dog waste baggies for free.Overall, I would recommend leasing a home at Thornbury. My husband and I would probably stay here longer, and renew our lease, but we want land and a house - our move-out will not be a reflection of how we feel about the living conditions here, which after 6 months, we are happy with.

The layouts are pretty spacious and they offer laminate wood floors in dining, kitchen and bathroom. For the price and area it is a good deal. I shopped around. Its in a nice quiet nook off busy Legacy. The trees are awesome and wonderful. The staff has been pretty amazing at addressing issues.. Brittany Rea is the best! Shes simply wonderful, understanding and gets things done. The people living here have been super friendly and welcoming. Only 4 stars cause the place could be better kept concerning stair wells, and power washing the walkways but that is me being picky.. It is a very decent place to live. Check it out, once, twice, thrice to be sure.. but definitely look into this place :)

I moved here 10 months ago and am happy with my apartment overall. In the beginning it was a headache sometimes with the parking and depending on the time I would come home I might not have been able to park in front of my building. When they started the reserved parking it was much better to me and havent had an issue with parking since. With the trash pickup, Ive only known a couple times where they didnt come but it wasnt an all the time situation. I havent had an issue with pests or anything. When I have put in work orders, they were pretty timely with completing them and would send an email to let me know the order was completed. The staff in the office is friendly, dress nice and professional. They also have monthly activities to bring the community together. I have already decided to renew my lease and happy that I am.

I love it here! I’ve been a resident here for 6 months and so far so good. All of my service request are answered timely. The pool is always clean. The office staff is always friendly and helpful. The grounds are well maintained. There hasn’t been any problems with the neighbors. Couldn’t ask for a better complex. The only con is free parking can be a hassle; if the close parking spaces are gone, you have to walk really far from the common parking area.

This is an amazing complex. I am fairly young, and this was my first time living alone. Being clueless about most things, Iris and Ashley were constantly willing to help me and answer all of my questions (and I asked a lot of them). The complex is quiet and beautiful, surrounded by trees and right on the golf course. They always plan fun activities, like complementary breakfast and a pet costume contest (around Halloween). Everyone here is so nice, including the neighbors. Maintenance is really great about fixing any issues, even if it’s changing the battery in your smoke detector because you forgot to buy a ladder! Affordable rent for the location!

Thornbury has been so wonderful to me and helping me with anything that i need. Chip by far is the best Property Manager ever! He will make sure you are taken care of with a smile on his face. The maintenance team also goes above and beyond. If they see anything wrong in your apartment when they are there for a work order, they will go ahead and fix it for you. Again, Thornbury is amazing, and if you are interested in living somewhere that provides excellent customer service, and a staff that goes above and beyond... Thornbury is your new home.

OUTSTANDING!!! AWESOME!!! ABOVE ALL!!! ...words to express how I felt from my first visit on a rainy Saturday to my move-in day the Staff {Iris, Ashley and Brittany} and My New Home made me fell. I am so elated with how I was treated as a person and not just a number. I have large windows, garden tubs, wood floors to a large balcony. I chose this location due to proximity to work as well as the mature trees. Moving from Montana to Texas was difficult so having scenery was important. I’ve acquired new friends at the social gatherings they have so it has made this move doable for myself and my girlfriend. The employees have been accommodating and courteous. Thumbs up.
