Meagan was very friendly and informative while giving us a tour of the property. she was patient and allowed us to view the renovated unit and pointed out differences in the available floor plans. She honestly answered our questions and repeatedly asked us if we had any more. The common areas were pretty and appeared to be well kept. She did not put major pressure on us to sign but encouraged us to join the community. Overall it was a very nice experience.

Really cool place to live, the desk workers are very helpful and patient. Biggest problem is that the back club house closes at 5, leaving me no time to play pool or ping pong after I get out of class.

Honestly, my move in experience was horrible. My bed was broke our couch was broken as well, thankfully our maintenance guy helped me and my roommates a lot. Louis Gonzales helped us out in less than a day. He was quick and did the job well. Thank you so much for making my stay more comfortable!

My experience here has been very good regarding quick maintenance and fast responses. The amenities are really awesome, and I love the gym. Maintenance is super nice, and they are always out working throughout the day! My only complaint is how long it took for them to fix the gate, but they did finally did it and it stays working.

Please give him some praise for all the work hes trying to accomplish by himself during this move-in process. No man should take on that much work by themselves working til 4am. Living here was a solid first step into off-campus life. It offered convenience, community, and a great living space for my college years.Location, Location, Location: Right across the street from campus, I could roll out of bed and be in class within minutes. Plus, grocery stores, restaurants, and cafes were just a short drive away.Lively Community: The complex organized social events like pool parties and food nights, fostering a sense of belonging and helping me make friends outside of my classes.Amenities: While not luxurious, the fitness center, and pool are well-maintained and offered an escape from studies.

The apartment management is the best I’ve ever had. Everyone is accommodating and nice. If I have a question, they will answer it or at least do the most they can to help. Most places in a college town are a bit dismissive but everyone here takes the time for you. The rooms are spacious and the updated houses have a nice look inside. Only cons are that the area is just loud, people don’t pick up their dog poop nor does management, and the parking isn’t great for visitors.

Honestly, I always knew I wanted to sign with them and I regret not doing it earlier!! I was so excited to start living here starting in August 2023 because they have an awesome management team, they are always super helpful and they have great opportunities for interaction with their residents! Rent is a little high for San Marcos, but I 100% think it is worth it for what they offer! Note that they also remodeled a big majority of their units which is awesome! I love living here and that’s why I am so excited to be here for another year!

Krysta gave me a amazing tour and Danny David and Louis have been amazing maintenance workers. I usually dont write reviews, but I feel like this should be shared with everyone. Louis was extremely helpful, any time I need something fixed he is there to help. I dont have to worry about waiting five business days to hear back from him; he is very prompt and efficient with his work which I really appreciate. Not only is he a great worker, you can tell that he actually cares about the residents here and wants to help them. I dont ever feel like I am bothering him when I have a question or need something fixed which I really appreciate. If any residents are reading this and have concerns about maintenance, trust that Louis will help you out!

So I was out looking for a place for my future TX STATE student and thought I’d go take a look! I have to say I was really impressed! The drive up appeal was inviting and I loved the safe and secure feeling of it all being gated! I had an amazing tour with Gracie - she was very knowledgeable, professional, and super nice! They have a variety of different units with upgraded ones having a more modern look! Looking forward to seeing the finished ones! This place had many great and convenient amenities. Do yourself a favor and go check them out- they also have a cute new hammock and grilling station _ you wont be disappointed!

I will be moving into the villages this upcoming August and I cant wait. I had a horrible experience with my apartment complex last year and did extensive research and tours of apartment all over san marcos and the villages was by far the one that impressed me the most. The staff is very nice and very helpful! The faculty/amenities look well taken care of. The apartments themselves are very big and spacious. Definitely worth the price!

My roommates and I had put in a maintenance request to have our kitchen sink and blinds fixed multiple times but no one came. Up until this last request Donna came and fixed the blinds in under 20 minutes and assured me she’ll be back with the right equipment to fix the sink. I really appreciate her she’s awesome 5 stars for Donna!

This place is absolutely perfect for student living!The townhomes are all so pretty and it makes usfeel like were a neighborhood. I love my neighborsand how clean the pool and gym are! My home wasclean when I moved in and the best part is we hadtaken it as is! The trash vault is the best theyre hereeveryday taking out our trash! In love with my homeand so happy how everything turned out here!

Ive lived in San Marcos 2 almost 3 years now. I’ve lived at Vie Lofts, Hillside Ranch, and now the villages! I liked Vie but it was small. I HATED Hillside(they only care about money, not you)! The villages on the other hand is cheaper than both, larger, and much nicer. Their furniture is basic college furniture, nothing too fancy but it’s not trash. We moved in with a couple of hiccups and issues in our apt. Since this is a large complex they are often overwhelmed with maintenance requests. Initially it took too long for them to fix our problems(as the go in order of submission). However, once I went in person to discuss my concerns they immediately jumped to a solution. Their wonderful manager asked me into her office and throughly listened to my concerns. She validated my concerns and IMMEDIATELY sent her maintenance team to fix all of our issues. For me this type of care is unheard of in student living apartments. To any parents or students looking for a safe, large, and affordable place to live the villages is perfect!

Reasons i re-signed here1) maintenance has always been really fast and responsive when any issues arise and I like that2) the amazon package hub. It’s super convenient when you work late hours or have class all day to be able to pick up packages at any time no matter the carrier they all get dropped off at the hub.3) amazon 99% will deliver to you door which is super convenient4) the kitchen and living room is fairly spaciousnegative things they could work on1) communication between staff at the front office and management so that they know what is going on and can be helpful to the residents. I don’t blame the staff at the front office but it is frustrating when you can’t get an answer and you have to wait to talk to management

I really love it here. They do a great job keeping the apartment complex looking nice and when there is maintenance needed in your unit they are quick to get whatever fixed! The kitchen is also awesome because it is so big. I like living here because it feels like I’m in a house not an apartment. Plus the buses are also pretty good and being at the villages means you are the first to get picked up which guarantees you a seat. Overall I really enjoy living here!

The actual units are super nice, very spacious, and modern. The pools are great, the dog park is a plus, and the staff is friendly. Maintenance, from my experience, has always been quick and super kind! The only complaints I have are with the workout facilities always having malfunctioning equipment, and the issues upon moving in almost a year ago with missing furniture (for months) as well as overall dirty move-in quality. I also live in the front, so assigned parking would be nice considering I often have to park several houses down when people choose to park in front of my house to be closer to the bus. Management can be a bit off at times, but the front office staff is always pretty nice and willing to resolve any problems. Its a great place to live and I understand not everything will always be perfect and its unrealistic to think it will be, so Im pretty forgiving, unlike some people. However, the rent is pretty high, so I dont blame them for expecting perfection. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Overall, I love living here and would recommend it to anyone with a fat wallet.

We must commend and make mention of the excellent communication sent out by the management of the Village On Tellurides Staff. We got an early move in for our son, and they have constantly evaluated and improved their security, as well as provided many amenities at the office for their tenants, such as coffee, and printing services free of change. Way to go VOT!

The apartments are nice and spacious! The maintenance is usually pretty quick, especially if there is a major problem. The amenities are nice, but the hot tub is never on!! Also, my trash can always flys away because we don’t have a chain to tie it down and they are slow at replacing the trash can!

I have been living there for almost a year now and I resigned my lease. The space in the homes is my absolute favorite part. There is so much storage space. I live in a 3 bedroom with 2 roommates and 2 dogs. There is more than enough space for the 3 of us and our dogs. They recently added more pet stations, which makes walking the dogs a lot easier. There is also a large gated field that is great for the dogs.Maintenance is also awesome. We recently had a maintenance emergency very early one morning and maintenance was there in 20 minutes to fix the problem. They have never taken long to complete a work order we have put in.All around the community is really pretty and the amenities are very nice. Staff is friendly and always willing to help.

When I first moved in, management was horrible.. I signed for an unfurnished apartment and they moved me into a furnished apartment. I told them that I needed them to move the furniture out, and I called and went into the office every day for a month before anybody ever came and got it. They never turned my apartment (cleaned it and fixed any damages) before I or my 2 roommates moved in. The place was disgusting. They refused to replace my carpet even though it smelled like dog pee because they had no record of a pet ever living there even though the person before me admitted they had a dog in there, to me. The manager and assistant manager was so incredibly rude and told me Too bad. and walked away when I spoke to her about my issues. I almost wanted to cancel my lease and live elsewhere. Once new management was brought on board, everything was SOOOO much better and I now can not imagine living anywhere else! The apartments are huge and I love the concrete floors. The dog park is massive and it feels like a little community. I could not be happier with my experience after the first 2 months.

The Village on Telluride is such an amazing place to live at! I love the fact I dont feel like I live in an apartment, but I live in a real home! There is so much storage space, I actually can see all of my clothes in my closet! The amenities are amazing and great as well! I love the fact that we have two gym, two pools, and tanning beds! The staff is wonderful as can be! I know I can always count on them to help me with any of my issues and concerns! The Village management was the biggest joke when I first moved here. They were unprofessional, rude, and inconsiderate. They did not take anything you said seriously, and did not treat you as a valued resident. I did not want to resign here, I had no desire to put up with them any longer, until I went to the office one day and discovered that everybody in the office was new, and extremely friendly and helpful. I am so excited to resign here for another year, I have a large dog, and they are very pet friendly here. Last year I would not recommend it, now I will.

Honestly, this is one of the best places you can live in San Marcos. If you’re wanting a house, but can’t afford to rent one, this is the best place to be. The units are beautiful, furniture it great, and you really can’t beat the amenities they offer. Every time I’ve been in, the staff was very friendly and helpful. And it’s the first stop on the TXST shuttle route. Highly recommend!

Love it here! I have lived here for about a year now and resigned. VOT is conveniently the first bus stop to and from campus, has great community involvement, quick maintenance staff, pet-friendly, nice outdoor living (bball, 2pools/hot tub, sand volleyball, grilling), and a small gym that works for me! I haven’t had any major concerns living here and would recommend this to underclassmen looking for a spacious and gorgeous apartment! Thankfully, night life is not crazy here considering this is student housing. I get compliments from friends all of the time and my family was impressed! Worth the money.

I’ve lived at this place for 5 years!! I moved in my freshman year as I was going to community college and eventually transferred into TXST. This place has been my home and after seeing all the apartments in San Marcos and what they have to offer I wouldn’t leave the village for anything. They’ve taken such good care of me and have responded to all of my requests (even the redundant ones on my behalf) and have never complained about it. The only thing I would love for them to put more attention towards is the gym as far as minor equipment upgrades but other than that the pools are beautiful, the study room is so peaceful and my house itself is so spacious. ALSO I’ve had random roommates every single year I’ve lived here and every year I make a new life long friend, meaning they’re amazing at matching you with ransoms. And the place is dog friendly, it kind of has its own unofficial dog community honestly and everyone gets to know each other and everyone’s dogs lol.Bottom line this place is amazing. I’ve highly recommend it to a bunch of my friends and many of them live here now!

The maintenance crew responded quickly and had my issues fixed within 5 minutes. They even went to replace lightbulbs that I had not put in the maintenance request. I only got the name of Danny Gonzales, but thank you for being chill and answering the questions I had!

I’ve lived here for a year, and I absolutely love it! It’s super spacious, and the perfect living accommodation for anyone with a pet. The dog park is huge, and the layout of the unit makes you feel right at home. I would definetly recommend living here.

These are not apartments, these are houses! The half bathroom downstairs saves lives, and you even have your own private bathroom. I moved in last august and any time a light bulb goes out or something comes up maintenance is on top of it. You get what you pay for here, so much space and the houses are gorgeous.

This is a student living apartment. Not just students can stay anyone is welcomed. Driving up it doesn’t look like a normal student complex. It’s looks like regular houses and everyone around is so nice and welcoming. The pool is amazing and the office is very beautiful from the way it used to look. In fact they dont just have one pool they have two. This community is so wonderful and i would suggest anyone yo live here 😍💗

I’ve lived here for 3 years and I love it! Super nice houses and for the space that you’re getting, it’s a great price! We have two dogs and it’s so perfect because they have a little yard and we love our neighbors! Very neighborhood like. Wish I could stay longer but I’m graduating!!
