    The leasing team here at the banks is the best I have ever worked with. Sylvia met us with the most professional and friendly service. She knows how to make an annoying process fun and exciting. Connor also answered my many question with speed.The property is very clean and well kept.     Beyond the sometimes unsettling crime in this neighborhood, Conor, Jordan, and Sylvia, have all been helpful and professional with my requests. I had a parking problem months ago but they worked that out for me and issued a credit. I have enjoyed the beauty of the complex, they put real effort into ensuring things are tidy and clean here. My maintenance requests were responded to within a week max and the work was excellent. I will be moving out in January and expect a smooth move out process. Thank you!

    Beautiful property, in a convenient part of Austin. I toured the property earlier this week and I was amazed at the professionalism of the team.     The property manager Jorden, Drew, and the rest of management deserve accolades. They do a phenomenal job providing a positive environment, consistent communication, and improvements to the community. Their attention to the cleanliness of the property shows they truly care. As someone who has lived at The Banks since it was called Alexan, myself as well as my neighbors are very satisfied. Maintenance has always been quick to respond. They got rid of problematic residents last year, and it appears they still have a couple to manage. Overall these apartments are a great value for the price, and I don’t see myself moving any time soon!

She made the entire experience seamless and pleasant. The management team here is exceptional and one of the main reasons I chose to sign the lease.     At first sight I knew I could call Banks of Springdale home. Situated in a quiet location with easy access to places I commute to often making it the ideal apartment for me. My apartment itself, 1 bed 1 bath, is cozy and spacious, just what I was looking for. From tour to getting my apartment keys, Sylvia made the process seamless. I truly appreciated her positive attitude paired with exceptional customer service. She made me feel welcomed from the start.     I have been meaning to write a review for so long. I love this complex so much. Management can be rough at a lot of places, but the people that work here are INCREDIBLE. I know that if I need anything, I can count on any of them. The apartment itself is perfect, with new appliances, the walls are soundproof, I have never heard my neighbors even with their dogs in the 10 months that I have lived here. The space is so clean, including the gym, amenity area and the pool. I am the banks of springdale biggest fan especially after living in pretty bad complexes in Austin with terrible management. It is also affordable in an awesome neighborhood. I will continue living here for quite some time! Thank you to the best staff ever for making my time here perfection.

    First things first, the new management company, Greystar, has been a night and day difference from the original one. Excellent customer service and professionalism. The maintenance team led by Drew always gets things done swiftly and right. Sylvia from the office is like an angel, and helped me coordinate my transfer to another unit when time was pressing. The community is friendly and the facilities/amenities are nice. The only con for any future residents is that the propertys location is in a rougher area; but the community gate, cameras, security guard, and GroupMe app definitely help on that front. Great place to live!

    I have lived here for 15 months. It was my first apartment in Austin. Management did a good job, especially when the changeover took place. The maintenance staff is amazing and is always kind and on top of it. they were quick to fix the gate issues and alert residence of any changes. I also really enjoyed my conversations with Jordan the property manager!!

    Wanted to give a shout to Sylvia in the leasing office, along with Drew on the building maintenance team. I saw Drew in my building and asked about a potential issue i had with my sink drain. I wanted some insight before i submitted a work order, and Drew was kind enough to walk up to my apartment and fix my issue on the spot! I called into our front desk to ask about some billing questions, and Sylvia was nothing but great with getting me the answers i was looking for; along with expediting my questions up to management to prioritize my issue. Wanted to express my gratitude to both for helping me with such urgency!

    We have enjoyed our time at this apartment complex. The rooms are really nice, we have a great view from the fourth floor overlooking the city skyline and the green belt. Make sure you double check your unit has a balcony when you sign the lease because not all of them do. Really nice gym facilities, the equipment actually works and is a good quality. The staff keep the place clean, and up and running. I take my dog for a walk every morning and can see the sun rise over the green belt in the back. Not too far from town or mueller either!

    I love living here so much! This is the first apartment, in a very long time, that I feel at home at. It’s quiet and so close to the grocery store, gas stations, and other places I frequent.The staff is very welcoming, friendly, and compassionate. They helped me tremendously through my struggles.

    I came in on a tour here and the staff was so kind and friendly. I could tell a lot of the people living there looked so happy. We ended up at a different spot so my partner had a shorter commute, but we loved Banks of Springdale. Beautiful, modern apartments and attentive team. Clearly they love their community and work hard to maintain it. The best part was being pretty much literally in a park!If the commute ever changes, wed love to come back on another tour.

    I for the most part loved living here. I had an 18 month lease for a studio and really never had any unit issues. RPM was managing the community when I got there and then transitioned to Greystar which I was so thankful for.Once Jordan and his team took over, we had communication about equipment and amenity issues and their timeline to a solution which was a vast improvement from RPM. The community events are fun and add a nice touch to resident life, the resort pool is amazing, and the grills always work.The other reviewers were correct about the gate being a security issue. We had some scary situations with some assaults and theft. But overall, those situations were rare and do unfortunately come with living in a city and in a neighborhood where development pushes local communities out. There are now security drivers that patrol the complex at night to help mitigate any bad stuff.As for pests, I didnt see any and I ended up with a teenager who never understood closed containers, sweeping, or wiping counters. Scorpions are however, part of the natural ecosystem in Texas and can found from the Piney Woods of East Texas to the Deserts in the West. I only ever saw one, sadly (bugs are cool).Thankfully my lease ended before the parking changes went into effect. Good luck with patrolled towing, residents!I was most upset about being charged for painting walls and doorways after I had spackled any holes in walls as asked to do in my lease. I had asked for touch-up paint to cover any other imperfections and was told as long as about 2 coats would cover it, I shouldnt worry. Id suggest you just touch-up paint it yourself and save $200...if you can rend some paint from the staff.But I do want to say that the things in my control went the way they went. The things I couldnt control were handled expertly by the management team and staff.I will greatly miss the huge fridge/freezer with ice maker.

    I’ve been living here since May 11 and am very happy with the staff that works here. Management is especially top tier and definitely worth your consideration while apartment shopping. They are also a relatively new property which means that if you’re tired of living in run down apartments in Austin that were built in the 90s, this is the place to be. They’ve gone above and beyond to make sure our first month was great (which separates them from the other apt management companies who are looking to make a quick buck) and am looking forward to many more months and years at this place! It feels very safe and the amenities they offer are, relative to Austin rental prices, definitely a bargain!

    Love how quiet the area is and the view of Down Town from my balcony. Sylvia was fantastic and made the leasing process incredibly smooth. I’ve been in Austin for over 10 years and this was my best experience with a leasing team by far.

    The property manager called me and asked if I would leave a review. Umm, Ive lived here since March and Ive never heard or seen the police here. The only real problem Ive had is the valet trash but that has improved. As others have mentioned, there are clearly some that havent lived in a city before and might benefit from locking their car door. The gate has been broken a couple times and they have been quick to fix. Maintenance has also been quick tho Ive rarely needed them. The elevator in my building broke and they sent out several updates. Things happen but management seems to care and communicate. When I moved in they walked me around and showed me 18 guest/future resident parking spots... the future resident spots can be parked in over night. Ive never had a problem getting in touch with management because I just email the property manager. Ive never lived somewhere with cameras everywhere but I heard were getting some in the parking lot.

    Note: My review was previously unfavorable to the complex, but the property manager reached out and helped work through my frustrations with living here. I am happy with their response and solutions.I only have a couple minor complaints beyond my original complaints. The location isnt the greatest. Delivery drivers will deliver to the neighboring complex or not at all ~40% of the time. The delivery issue is so bad that DoorDash has all but banned me from their app because of repeated instances of my food not arriving (never had this issue at any other complexes). At least not ordering delivery forces me to be healthier?Overall though I enjoy living here. The units are nice and stylish. Its nice being next to the greenbelt (makes for a great view). The amenities are also great (love having the package lockers and the gym). The community here is friendly.

    The residents currently living here are worse than any of the reviews of bad management. The previous management was bad, no lie. But after it was taken over James and the rest of the staff have been great. The residents are incredibly harsh for no reason and nit pick almost everything. I have never lived anywhere in Austin that was 100% perfect all of the time. I agree there should be cameras on property, but the apartments are nice, the pool and gym are great, maintenance is fast and communication with new management is seemingly easy.

    Currently on the hunt for a new place in Austin closer to work. Checked out this complex not too long ago and really liked it! Ended up touring a 2 bedroom apartment that had really nice updated features! What was also really nice was the atmosphere of the office staff. I felt welcomed! James was especially helpful with any of the questions I had.I’m still on the hunt but this complex is a high contender on my list. Check them out!

    A very nice place to live. Gorgeous interiors and appliances. Drew and Skyler with the Maintenance Team are amazing. Always prompt and responsive when a maintenance issue pops up. Love living directly next to the Little Walnut Creek Greenbelt. Perfectly situated between 183 and I-35, and the HEB and Alamo in Mueller are 5 minutes away.Be aware that there is very little guest parking on property. Your guests will either need to park in a nearby neighborhood or in one of the few spots available for guests. Springdale is also a busy road, so if you live in Bldg 1, you will probably hear some traffic.

    Beautiful brand new place to live in. The view of walnut creek greenbelt from my apartment unit is fantastic! Lots of natural light comes into the unit. The rental agency staff and service crew members are helpful, amicable and respectful. My unit had a problem with circuit breaker for the fridge. Management fixed it in a few days. They also setup a built in sound system that I love. Amazing experience so far. I am waiting for the rest of the building construction to get finished soon so that I can start utilizing gym and other amenities.

    I had a wonderful move-in experience. I needed to move in on short notice within and Madison the Leasing Associate I worked with, made it happen - she is my hero! These are beautiful, spacious units and brand new - love all of the design elements. There is more storage in my new 1 bedroom unit than the 2 bedroom house I moved from. The only disappointment was, I understood that my unit would have a garage and a balcony - its either one or the other. I would prefer the balcony, but having a garge has its benefits.

    The Banks has by far been the best place I have lived in. The apartment is amazing, new appliances, beautiful design. The staff is also wonderful and very friendly. Maintenance is so quick to answer requests and the front office staff is really helpful whenever I have had questions. 10/10 would recommend.

    Drew and Tony on the maintenance staff at the Banks of Springdale are absolute Rockstars! My building is brand new and my AC has been having trouble for the last few months. Every time I call through to the maintenance line I have a great experience. Drew calls back very quickly and is very attentive to my problems and gets them fixed as quickly as possible.

    Amending my review to reflect that a new management has taken over. While the previous management RPM was a complete disaster and contributed to a lot of the pain points here, Greystar has taken over and sought to rectify a lot of those issues in a short time. The new property manager is a lot more courteous and professional than the previous one, and truly understands the benefit of communication with residents. They are trying their best and it is seen and appreciated.Our maintenance team (Drew and Tony) is world class. In terms of speed, professionalism and work ethic, they consistently go above and beyond. I’ve never had an issue they didn’t rectify almost immediately. They are real rockstars and having lived here from pretty much the beginning, I can confidently say that.As for crime in the neighborhood, please be for real. This is a gentrifying area and the relatively lower rent says as much. Also Austin is a city with city problems. It’s not your sheltered suburb in bumbleheck USA. If you are averse to seeing the effects of income inequality in your neighborhood, please move to Westlake.

    I loved this place. I came and toured with Lucero and she was high energy and answered any question I had. Been touring a lot of complexes the last few days and this was definitely top tier. Spacious apartments with nice balconies. Amenities arent fully open yet so I cant comment on those but supposedly opening really soon.

    My best friend and I came and toured Alexan Springdale yesterday afternoon and have been searching for the perfect place for us to make our move from south Florida to austin and we could not be happier with leasing specialist Madison.
