    I love the Residences at Gramercy.StaffThe staff was always responsive. If we needed to fix something for the apartment they would respond to our concern within 24 hours.LocationWOW. I love it. Especially for bus users there are multiple bus stops within a mile of walking. In addition, there are multiple grocery stores by foot if you wanted within 10 to 30 minutes Also very near the medical center, rice village, and other attractions. PLUS, they have side walks so sometimes I would go for a walk near the complex even at night (I felt safe too).AmenitiesDuring our stay (~2 years), we had fire alarm testing,apartment maintenance, renovated gym, pool (small but good vibes), and pool table for guests and residents. Their computer/ work space is nice as well and great for home workers or students. Loved all the convenience.ParkingIt is gated and thankfully we never had a problem of getting our tires stolen (which was a huge concern of ours before moving in).NoiseBeing close to the med center has its downsides especially, if you are noise sensitive. We frequently hear sirens but we got used to it. Also with the gated parking, you may also hear it as cars drive in and out (but again, that became white noise after some time). There were quite a lot of pet owners here so if you are scared of dogs..this might not be the place for you.All in all, if location and safety is important to you, I would recommend this apartment complex. If only rent didnt increase I would love to call this place home once more.

    I have been living at Residences at Gramercy for 3 years now and it has been great! Ana from the leasing office is really helpful and the Greystar maintenance team is always super-quick to take care of the maintenance requests. I have faced no major issues here in the past 3 years.

    Excellent maintenance service! The staff came promptly and fixed the issues which needed attention. I wasnt happy with the grout when I moved in, and wow, just Wow. Professional job and no more messy grout, a pet peeve of mine. It was easy to see the members of the maintenance staff takes pride in their work, diligence in getting the job done right, and both friendly and positive.Everyone here is so nice. Best decision Ever

    Leasing specialist, Ana went above and beyond for our client moving from different country. She was so kind enough to make sure he was able to receive the key after hours, so he didn’t have to stay at hotel. We love referring our clients somewhere they feel safe and welcomed.     I have lived at this complex for a few years. The office staff is friendly, responsive to my emails (maybe had to follow up once) and is in the office when I’ve gone during the day. Maintenance is friendly, professional and has fixed my issues in a timely manner. I’ve never had issues with break ins, feeling unsafe, or pest. A couple of roaches here and there over the years but it’s not often at all. Elevators, gates and side doors with fobs do stop working every few months but that’s at every complex I’ve lived at and the staff fix it quickly. I’ve always been able to get in to my apt either using another door, elevator etc. so for me and my experience I recommend this complex. I would resign my lease if the rent was cheaper.

    I love living at Residences at Gramercy! The staff (office and maintenance) are professional and friendly, quick to respond in solving problems. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained. I have a large balcony overlooking tree-lined streets and love saying hi to my neighbors as they pass by. Also, the area is close to some beautiful, walkable neighborhoods, like Old Braeswood and West University Place, and in walking distance to Rice Village, which is full of restaurants and mom and pop shops.     I am extremely pleased with the apartments and staff! Any problem that I have reported has been taken care of immediately. I would highly recommend these apartments to anyone. The residents are generally friendly. I didnt move here to find a best friend. I already have friends, but I like the people that I call neighbors. I have been to many apartment buildings and I absolutely LOVE the enclosed hallways. If the hallways were not enclosed, they would still be long and a mover would charge the same amount. The movers would also be wet in the rain or hot in the heat. The earlier reviewer was a bit harsh!

    I love living at Gramercy. The building is very modern and yet still has the homey feel to it. I love the dog park and the level of security here. Wed like too stay here for at least 5 more years! They have lots of fun events and the staff is absolutely amazing in terms of genuine customer service and care.

    After a year of living at Gramercy, I have to up the rating. The staff are attentive, professional and care about the community. You cant meet a better group of people. The community is quiet for the most part with excellent free monthly socials and scheduled (you pay) food truck visits. Parking was an issue when we first moved in but has since been resolved. The property is close to almost anything one could want and is a short bike ride to the Medical District.Positives:- Gated limited access into the garages and buildings and cameras monitoring various locations.- The property is very clean and well maintained.- Trash chutes.- There are monthly socials with pretty good food.- Free expanded basic cable - youll have to pay if you want HD.- Washer and dryers.- A nice gym for an apartment.- Great closets and pretty roomy, though some floorplans are oddly designed.- Free coffee bar with decent coffee, hot chocolate and teas.- Package holding and notification.- Fast maintenance staff when theres an issue.- Nice clubhouse/game room- Very courteous and professional staff. Yes, I sing praises to Samantha too.- They have people poop-scooping after pet owners too lazy and nasty to pick up after their pets.- The community is very diverse, pleasant and quiet for the most part.Negatives:Parking can be tight at times.

    Lovely place to live. Caring staff, nice neighborhood. Apartments are a bit on a small size, but the excellent maintenance and the convenience of the locations make up for it. We lives here for almost two year and never had a complaint!

    Love the interior air conditioned and carpeted hallways. No blind spots for anyone to hide in. Plenty of parking. Great location, very near a Walgreens and restaurants. It is about a mile from the Rice Village, also there is a Salata restaurant just around the corner next to a Walgreens. I like the community but their pool is tiny. I have seen dog parks with larger pools. It is extremely near a Kelsey Sebolds medical center.

    I love living here at RaG. It’s comfortable space, excellent management office and maintenance response times and resolutions. My apartment has a huge patio that I’ve made into my personal garden space. Highly recommend!

    For a single gal, this is a fairly safe place to live. There are interior hallways that the apartment doors open into. The remote control gates to the parking located below the building work almost all of the time. The one malfunction I am aware of was that the car entry into the garage for the portion of the complex across the street was having poor reception and residents had to get out of their car and point the key fob directly at the gate. Even with this consistent maintenance of the perimeter, I did see a car set up on blocks minus the wheels. Shortly after that, I got a memo tucked in my door which encouraged that residents remember to keep cars secure and to report any suspicious activity. When the leasing office is closed, you need a key fob to get into the building The maintenance staff is prompt in responding to maintenance requests that I submit through the smartphone app. It does seem that the front office works to maintain communication with the apartment community. I have multiple medical issues and the Kelsey Seybold Main Clinic is a walk across the street and through the Kelsey Seybold parking lot. I get medical care from Kelsey Seybold physicians and getting to my appointments is so much easier. Residences on Gramercy is in a good geographic location as it is close to a retail center which has a grocery store. The Rice Village is only a left turn onto Kirby and 2 stop lights away. - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings

    Very helpful staffs. Rooms are so spacious and relaxing. Superb amenities, altho I wish they have a bigger pool. :)The area is an ideal place to live in, very peaceful and convenient to almost all the impt places you need like grocery, pharmacy, banks and gas station.

    I have LOVED our community thus far. We just moved in on Saturday and already things are wonderful! I loved the covered parking, the gym, and the access to local food and entertainment. Cant wait to see what else our community has in store!

    Every single thing about this complex is great exept for the swimming pool which is too small! The staff are really friendly and the residents are the same as well. Well equipped building is well maintained. You really feel like home!

    Quiet, clean, conveniently located units. Management is always friendly, helpful and responsive. Only complaint is that its a tad pricey but comparable to other upscale apartment communities in the area.
