    Very serene. The PARO is a nice, quiet place to live in a wonderful neighborhood. The attention to detail also sets this complex from others where Ive lived. This is especially true of the landscaping and interiors of the apartments. So far, this is a great place to live!

    Our Gymnasium experience is great at River Oaks community. It is very well maintained, and the location is great! The coffee room right next to it has a calming influence. Neighbors are very warm and welcoming. We love it here.

    We have loved living at the park at River Oaks  for the past 9 years! The office and Maintenance are always so kind and very helpful. Truly makes you feel at home when they greet you by name and show they care. The maintenance staff is quick to respond to anything that pops up (which thankfully is rare!). Best apartment complex we’ve lived in by far.

    Lived here almost 3 years. Always felt like the office staff cared about me, they have taken really good care of me and have always been helpful. Same for the maintenance staff, any issues Ive had have been taken care of quickly and effectively.

    My husband and I lived here for a year before having to relocate to Dallas. After having lived in multiple complexes now, I have to say this is one of the best we’ve lived in and miss it dearly. The residents are all extremely respectful and friendly, the office staff was always so helpful, and the units themselves are extremely charming. Had we been able to stay in Houston, I have no doubt in my mind that we would’ve continued to lease here.

    I have lived at the Park for almost 2 years now. At first I did not like the age of the property and my kitchen style (white appliances/white countertops). After fully moving in and decorating, I enjoy the simplistic clean look it gives. Although it is a dated property, the benefits of safety, fast maintenance, and convenient area well outweigh the age of the property.

    Leasing staff was excellent! Deziree was very Knowledgeable of the area which was very important to me. (Moving from California in February 2024 ) The community was beautiful and clean .. definitely will be calling Park at River Oaks my home.

    I am going on 2 years living at The Park at River Oaks, and now can honestly say what outshines the property the most is the on site staff. They make this property a 10/10 experience. Maintenance is polite and efficient, the office staff is patient and understanding. Shout out to Marisa, Paetyn, and Deziree. They have always gone above and beyond for this community and it shows. If you are looking for a community to kick your feet up and not have to worry then this is the place. I cant forget the ever hard working Maintenance Manager Saul, Id challenge someone to find a problem he couldnt fix.

    Disclosure: I am looking at this property as a potential place to rent. I do NOT live here currently.I took a brief introductory tour of a C unit with a young lady named Peyton. She was very nice, patient, & very professional and agreed to give me a tour despite it being close to closing time (on a Saturday no less). The leasing office itself is quite ornate and well decorated to the point of being somewhat dazzling upon first entrance and outmatches the lobbies of some high-end hotels that I’ve been to.The outside of the property was lovely and reminded me quite a bit of a Las Vegas resort; there were pallid pink and blue hues in the outside paint throughout that I was very fond of. The outside parts of the property I saw were exceptionally clean and the fact that there were people gathered around the pool and using the patio furniture are a good sign; people aren’t afraid to leave their homes and use the amenities. A poorly maintained pool area is as good as no pool area at all. The greenery was also very well maintained and there were no animal feces or dead patches in sight.The hallways were also really very clean; there was little outside debris and no chipping paint or dead insects. I saw only one wasp but it was a mud-dauber which are solitary insects that do not build nests and thus live as nomads.The apartment itself was also cleaned very carefully and kept clean. The paint had a certain gloss around it and there were no paint drips or bubbles nor any debris at the front door from visitors coming for a tour; this can be a good sign (the properties are well maintained and the leasing office takes their duties seriously) or a bad sign (the apartment had undergone serious renovations after its last tenant) but my experience here suggests the former. Even in the case of major renovations, a maintenance team that simply slaps paint on the walls will leave obvious signs of their indifference which were absent here. The edges were crisp and careful and only a single co-ax jack was painted over out of the many jacks and outlets in the apartment.The front door had two locks which required a key instead of a code which is VERY important. A tenant door that can be unlocked with a code is a privacy and security disaster; the administrative codes are literally NEVER audited or rotated, meaning any number of current (or former) employees could have the code to your front door, whereas a key, a physical object, is by its nature less accessible and therefore more secure. A lock that can only be opened with a key is an example of KISS technology (the best kind of technology).The neighborhood is largely single-family homes and office space. There is a (very large and well-stocked) Whole Foods 15 minutes away, but the sidewalks are a bit rough and I had to cross the street three times to get there. I got fantastic sushi nearby and a slice of pie from the Pie Shack. The closest bus is roughly 10 minutes away. There was little to no trash outside. The athletic field next door is undergoing construction, as will be the empty lot across the street, so construction noise may be a concern for those working from home, but that remains to be seen.

    Ever since moving into the park at river oaks, everything has been great. The maintenance team is the best I have ever experienced. The leasing office is always helpful. The community is quiet, which I love. The area is safe. Couldn’t say anything bad!

    I’ve lived at The Park at River Oaks for 9 months now with my Mom. We really love it. The office staff are amazingly diligent and accommodating. The grounds are kept up beautifully. The maintenance staff are so efficient that many times repairs are handled the same day. It’s in a great location that is easily accessible to all kinds of shopping, the Medical Center, and downtown. Everyone complains about how bad Houston traffic is, but living within the inner loop in such a great location means that you don’t have to really worry about the traffic. The building itself is very quiet - we rarely hear our neighbors in our apartment. I highly recommend it!

    There are many reasons to live at Park at River Oaks, but management and maintenance must surely be at the top of the list. Maintenance is almost always done the same day. The grounds are beautiful and impeccably maintained. Everyone in the office is professional, helpful, friendly, and nice to work with. The current property manager is superb. We have lived here 17 years (yes, thats a long time!) and have never regretted it. Other properties in the area cannot compare for size of kitchen, storage, etc. And, within one to two miles are lots of restaurants, a Costco (1 mile), two major groceries 1/2 mile south, pharmacies, etc. We rarely drive our car...everything is in the zone. The front gate security is another excellent feature. Remember, in real estate its LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION, and this location cannot be beat.

    I spent the year of 2021 living at The Park at River Oaks. Building 8 to be exact! When I was transferred down to Houston, I didnt know what to expect. I connected with a dozen or so different apartment buildings but it always felt like they were trying to hide something from me. Understanding that being new to a city, you arent always sure what is the best & safest place to live. When I arrived at PARO, I was surprised to see how nice the community was. They took extremely well care on ensuring the place doesnt feel like another apartment but as a home. Safety is a one number priority which was really great for me to hear as I was always gone on travel while my spouse spent many nights home alone. I was fortunate enough to have an updated unit with all of the newer appliances. However, even though everything was new, I still had some issues along the way over time. The maintenance team was always quick (most times under an hour to arrive) to resolve any obstacle I was facing. When I moved there, the winter storm really affected us, especially Building 8 which lost power & had our pipes burst. They allowed us to use empty units with water/power to shower & warm up. It was really impressive to see how they supported us but once the storm was over, how much they put back into ensuring the highest standards for this community. The leasing office & staff were always really kind to us. They recently just switched owners but kept the same great staff on hand. I didnt experience any events (besides the taco truck every once in a while) due to them having COVID restrictions but most neighbors respected each others privacy. I cannot say the same about other locations Ive lived at. If I didnt have to commute as far as I am current state, I would have absolutely renewed my lease at this community. Houston traffic is no joke (as we all know). I wish them well & appreciate everything they did for us!

    I have lived at PARO for several years and love it here. My favorite thing about the complex is the safety. I feel very safe here and the gate attendant is definitely a plus. It is also a very quiet and peaceful community. Marissa, Tim and Josh in the office are top notch. They are very friendly and always willing to go the extra mile for their tenants. There is a lot of greenery on the property and beautiful amenities! The pool is a great place to relax and enjoy the sun or shade! The apartment gatherings (such as wine tastings, casino night, bingo by the pool, ice cream by the pool) are always fun and really builds the complex as a community. This is a great way to get to know your neighbors! Im very happy to be part of it.

    The Park at River Oaks is a wonderful community! I lived there for 6 years and only left because I relocated to South Carolina. The management and maintenance staff are great and very responsive. The apartments and grounds are beautifully maintained. The place is like a fortress, and as a woman living by herself, I always felt safe. The 24 gate attendant is also great and makes the place feel so much safer!

    Have nothing but good things to say about The PARO. The community is exceptionally well managed and maintained. The residents here really respect the property and to me that’s huge. Additionally, the peace of mind with the security was definitely a surprise & important with frequent travel. I was here for only a year but already miss the serenity of this inner loop gem. Great place to call home!

    I have lived here for a couple of years now, and I have really enjoyed the place and the people. The community is quiet and my neighbors are super nice. I absolutely love the fountains throughout the community. It is nice to be able to walk around in the afternoon and relax after work. It is very peaceful. I dont have guests over that often, but I like the fact that there is a 24 hour gate attendant to make sure it is ok to let them in. The office and maintenance staff are always friendly and take care of any requests or issues promptly.

    Just moved in two months ago, and I am loving it! I have family that live here, so it was a no-brainer! I fell in love when I came and visited them, plus it is nice to have someone that I know close by. I have met a few of the other people that live here during a wine event. Seems like everyone is very down to earth and enjoys living here too. No maintenance issues yet, so I cant comment on that. The office staff and manager seem really nice. The gate attendant in the mornings is super sweet, and she went out of her way to help when my movers came. Just a really good experience so far.

    I stayed here for 2.5 years and there wasn’t a single day which didn’t provide me a peace of mind and sense of security. The staff (especially Tim, Josh and Stephine) was extremely cooperative and helpful throughout the stay. I really appreciate all their cooperation and assistance. Also kudos to maintenance staff.The building is clean, maintained well and proactive to address the issues.I didn’t find any reason to rate them less than 5*****.

    My fiancé and I lived here for a year, and we loved it! The staff was friendly and nice. They always kept up with the maintenance around the complex. Anytime we put in a maintenance request, they would be there to fix it within the day. We were going to sign another year, but ended up moving to the suburbs, but greatly enjoyed living here :)

    My family and I lived here for over a year and highly recommend these apartments. Really friendly management, they make move in/out easy and always helpful in addressing concerns once you are a resident. Resort style pool, nice common areas and buildings are clean and well maintained. Maintenance requests are easily submitted and resolved very quickly. Great location near upper kirby, rice village, galleria, and easy access to 59. Big thanks to Josh, the management team and all the staff at PARO.

    This place is amazing. The staff , particularly Tim and Josh are great. We loved our stay here for the past year and all of our needs/calls were attended sincerely and at the earliest by the team. Location and amenities coupled with the great staff makes it a perfect resident choice. Do stop by and try the French Vanilla (for free!) in the leasing office. Its great! Cheers!

    We have lived here for two years and love it! Every member of the staff has been friendly, helpful and genuinely cares about the residents. The spacious grounds are always kept clean and the pools sparkle! Maintenance needs are met with quick efficient service. Best apartment complex to call home!

    This apt.home complex is beautiful with a pretty pool area and courtyard .The leasing office is also very pretty ..There is a nice exercise room.I dont live there , but have friends who do and they really like living there.. Seems well managed.It is gated and is well located in the mid town area of the city.

    I visited the property and met with Deziree, she was very informative, made me feel welcomed. She is right the location is superb, the place is so beautiful. I was shopping the area for clients, and I will highly recommend Park at River Oaks. This is a place to call home.

    I picked up a relative near the front entrance rental office. The parking spots are horrible. Its big enough for a VW bug. I tried to squeeze next to a big black suburban and had no luck. They are pretty in pink luxury apartments.

    Lived here from Oct 2011-July 2012. I really cant say enough good things about the Park at River Oaks. The management team is superb, polite, friendly, efficient, and responsive. They even called me monthly just to check on me to make sure I was enjoying my apartment. I just had to relocate for grad school, and I had to leave a wonderful review to let everyone know that if youre looking for a wonderful place to live in Houston that is managed extremely well, this is the place.

    I moved to The Park at River Oaks in June 2016. I recently had to relocate out of state due to my employment or I would still be living there.The staff is very attentive, caring and offer great customer service.     This is one of the most special places in Houston! I am so thankful I chose the Park at River Oaks. The apartments, neighbors and the pools are great! The team here is absolutely exceptional.     Great place to live!!! And location, location...location..you cant beat this location. It is so close to so many things and places...shopping, supermarkets, Downtown, Midtown, Galleria, museum district, zoo, Medical district, Montrose, great schools and the traffic in the area is rarely ever bad. Sooo quiet. Lovely nice, big apartments with great construction ....you dont hear your neighbors around and above you. The security gate is a big plus.....AND the cream on top.....THE STAFF...Marissa, Josh and the team are excellent...so pleasant, and professional.

    Lived here a year and had a great experience! Would highly recommend living here if you get the chance! Pre-COVID we would have monthly parties! All of the neighbors I met while living there were nothing but NICE! The office staff and then maintenance staff were very attentive and fixed any issues we had. Again, would highly recommend!

    Lived here for 18 months and loved it. The location is the best and the community is so nice and quiet. Really felt like home. The office and entire staff is super nice and professional. I would highly recommend it! One advice I do have is if you are a light sleeper you want to consider not rent on the first floor because the AC units are outside on the ground by the wall of the apartment so you can hear it works. I got used to it after a while...

    As long time residents we have found the property to be very well managed by a friendly, responsive Fingers team. The location is exceptionally convenient to everything in Houston. The facilities are well cared for and maintenance items, when they arise, are promptly addressed. While being in the city we have had few concerns for personal safety.

    I have lived here for over 2 1/2 yrs. I have never had one complaint! The staff has pretty much stayed the same which keeps things consistent. They do backflips to keep everyone happy! If only every property could be this great!

    Such wonderful floor plans and beautiful grounds! Love having an attended security gate and convenient garage parking. The staff have all been beyond helpful and accommodating, and have attended to every request promptly and properly. I am extremely happy weve come back to PARO!

    This apartment complex has been wonderful. They are so attentive and responsive to any an all of my questions and requests I may have. The location is wonderful and the complex is kept nice and clean, not only that, the bedrooms are so spacious and comfortable to live in. I wouldnt want to live anywhere else.
