    Been here for a few years now and we plan on staying until we can find a dream home. It really is a community living residence that cares about you and your family. From community events to more. Did I mention the community feature? A package was incorrectly delivered and they not only helped me take the proper steps to find the package but also found it before I did ❣️ Safety and community in mind.

    I have lived here for 20 years and I can definitely call Oaks home. The office staff is very caring, they all go above and beyond for me. I consider them extended family. Work orders are done pretty quickly, they have a 24hr line for emergency work orders which I think stands out. If you are struggling one month, Sophia will always try to work with you as much as she can because she understands. Shelvie will go above and beyond to meet my personal needs, you just have to communicate. Closed mouths dont fed. Tyler is beyond helpful. You wont regret making Oaks your home

    I LOVE this place!!! I have never been at a property where the office staff goes above and beyond. Sophia helps me with EVERYTHING! I dont know what I would do without her. I love my apartment, the one bedroom is spacious. Shelvie addresses all my concerns. Def worth the pay.

    Been with this community 2 years now. Always helpful, maintenence on time, safe for kids to play outside, pool always clean.My personal experience had been great. Asst. Mgr Sofia is always kind and helpful.

    For me one of the best complex I have stayed at! Management is great, I love Sophia she has always helped me with everything I need and so has shelvie. At certain point they treat like family which is what I love the most, 100% will recommend. I will suggest come in person to get your own opinion about the place, people will comment when they mad but will not mention the good thigs the property does for you❤️❤️❤️

    Love the property been here for over 6 years. The staff treats you like family they are always loving, professional and understanding. I say your home is what you make it. I would highly recommend this property.

    I have lived here for about 3 and 1/2 months and i have to honestly say i truly do enjoy staying here. My apartment was cleaned and move in ready when i first came. All 3 ladies in the office are very respectable and are always helpful. Any time i needed something fixed it got done quickly. Sophia has been awesome since day 1 and if there is any issues i have with payment, she has been helpful with working with me and that is a true blessing. You dont see nonsense going on and the complex and it is very quiet. People are friendly when you see them. The only thing that is a minor issue is cats but hey nothing bad. I am truly glad i live where i live now compared to other places i have lived.

    I lived in this complex for close to four (4) years and the apartment suited my needs. Maintenance requests were handled in a timely fashion, loved my fireplace, great space for the cost, & easy access to the tollway. Location was also close to several parks/walking trails/small lakes if youre a nature person. I miss the attentiveness & genuine concern shown to the tenants by Shelvie & Sophia. Miss this place💕

    Im giving Oaks of Ashford 5 Stars because you get what you pay for. Yes, it would be nice to have new appliances, but what a lot of people dont seem to understand is if that happened the rent would go up.The community doesnt look like much in the surrounding area, but this is a hardworking blue collar community. The people are friendly and keep to themselves. In my experience if you experience an infestation of roaches its because either yourself or your neighbor arent cleanly. These things happen, but thats why they have maintenance on call 24/7. These guys are ALWAYS professional and punctual.I also want to make a point of saying that the ladies who work the office are beyond professional. There should be NO reason why anyone should have any issues with them. Life happens, sometimes you come short on rent, but as long as you stay in contact with the front office they will work with you. Im speaking from experience. In short, this is one of the BEST places to live at if youre on a budget or looking to save money without surrounding yourself with criminal elements.

    I am a current resident and I love it the staff is so patient the response time to the small matters I have they responded immediately confusion or misunderstandings they give you the information you need they go above and beyond for their tenants even the problem tenants they try to make you feel comfortable Shelvie and Sophia are absolutely wonderful and sweet ( pecan and sweet potato pie 2 of my favorite )I appreciate them so much they couldnt do it without the guy of the office Tyler he has his hands in there also assisting and helping those ladies in that office they run like a well oil machine....I should have moved in the when I applied yrs ago.....THANK YOU QUEENS

    I cannot find the words to say that would explain the most exceptional customer service in this industry.Shelvy, went above and beyond to make sure that my moving process was smooth and easy. The apartment exceeded my expectations.. I’ve now been here about 2.5 years and they still have not let me down.This is one of the best apartment complex in Houston, Texas. To start with, it is a beautiful place. Well maintained and always clean. Monica is always ready to listen to your problem And immediately handles it. Sophia has a wonderful spirit which makes it possible for one to communicate with her. She makes you feel like you’ve been friends forever.Above all, it is a peaceful environment. My family loves it here.I highly recommend to anyone looking for a new home the assistant manager is just a ball of life. Thank you

    Management is kind, and very helpful and the community is not bad considering my credit/leasing situation. Shelvie, Sophia, and Monica are a great team when assistance is needed. The maintenance may take a while, but its how their system is set up. Overall no complaints.

    I lived in this complex (in the exact same apartment) for about 4 years and I honestly never had any major issues. I had some kind neighbors whom I think have lived there even longer than me - wed share food during the holidays & theyd always invite me to their BBQs in the courtyard lol. The complex is not the newest, the parking is my biggest complaint, and I heard an altercation go down outside my window maybe twice in the entire 4yrs. So in my opinion thats good. The price is right, maintenance guys are nice and always timely, the office usually has fun events where you can meet the ppl you live around OR just enjoy the free food/drinks, and the 3 ladies in the office (Shelvie, Sophia, and Monica) are awesome staff who always lookout for the residents. Did I mention there is security who walk the grounds and the entrance gate is operational? Well anywhooo, I just wanted to give an honest review on this place because the only reason I moved is to get to a bigger 2bd rm within a better school district. But all in all this spot was good to me & my son, hopefully someone finds this review helpful :)

    The day we signed the lease we were given a gift. The foot mat that read, “welcome home”. The coming weeks and months did prove that we actually found a home not just an apartment to live in.Shelvie , Sophie and Monica made living at the Oaks of Ashford point a super a beautiful experience for me and my family.Always willing to listen and be flexible within rational compromise , Shelvie is an exceptional manager.The tenants family get together , the quick bites at the leasing office for occupants, the regular updates on the active building websites, the casino trip ....etcUnlike most other apartment officials that make you feel they are doing you a favour, they made us feel a sense of belonging.If not that I relocated to another town. I would still be there.I can’t forget the maintenance crew of super experienced elderly men they follow through until you are comfy.We miss you guys.

    Shelby runs a tight ship, meaning no nonsense going on where you have to live and lay your head ! No one needs that. Mgmt team with Sophia who’s fantastic and Front desk leasing agent m, they three are awesome
