Looking back on the past year, our time at Lakeside has been wonderful! The area is nice and mostly quiet, right by the DART station with two nearby convenience shops; the property and amenities are well maintained; and the staff is readily available and always willing to help! In the Leasing Office, Michelle has been ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and has taken care of any problems that arise with ease! The Maintenance Team is golden and has been the quickest to take care of our requests, even showing up to help during an after hours emergency. One thing to mention is that the parking garage is a little narrow, but some friendly driving will go a long way. Overall, Lakeside Urban Center has been fantastic all around!

As we celebrate our 1 year anniversary at Lakeside Urban Center, my husband and I wanted to share our experience. After living in various apartment complexes throughout DFW (usually for 4-5 years at a time), we can confidently say that Lakeside stands out for its outstanding service and genuine sense of community. I want to shout-out Michelle and Anna in the leasing office, who have been nothing short of amazing. They are friendly, responsive, and accommodating, both feel like neighbors more than staff each time we walk in. We had some challenges when first moving in, and as a result had to take an unexpected unit. Michelle and the teams dedication to helping us find a solution and making us feel comfortable made all the difference in the world, and we are beyond grateful to them.Its only a short walk away from several parks and Lake Carolyn, which has some nice restaurants and not to mention the nearby Toyota Pavilion for shows. Here at Lakeside there are lots of mini community events for the holidays, and the facilities are convenient and well-kept. Lots of fun things to do and its in such a convenient location!The maintenance staff deserves praise too for their exceptional service. Theres been the odd n end situation weve needed help with, and their quick response times, courtesy, and attention have consistently impressed us. Compared to other services at our previous complexes, the level of care at Lakeside beats that by far.Were grateful to have found Lakeside Urban Center and look forward to another year in this wonderful community. For anyone seeking a well-managed, resident-focused apartment complex in the DFW area, we highly recommend making Lakeside your next home.

Great staff so far! Michelle in the office has been fabulous! Very nice, patient and quick to respond. I have not had this experience at an apartment complex in a long time. I have turned in my service requests and they have been completed very quickly and Antonio is very nice. Thank you for making my move in less stressful!

I chose to wait at least a year to provide a more thorough, accurate review. Ill say it up front: this is the FIRST place Ive ever lived that did NOT have a cockroach problem! Im dead serious. Ive lived here a year and a half now, and Ive not seen a single pest! I do have occasional spiders on the balcony, but to be fair, I live facing the lake, so thats perfectly normal.PROS: Where to begin? Ive had my eye on these apartments since they first went up. Ive wanted to live on the Las Colinas skyline on Lake Carolyn for YEARS. As luck would have it, when I did some exploring, I found these apartments available with the most PERFECT lakeside view and for an insanely good price! Sure, some online reviews made me admittedly a little nervous, but Ive lived in crazier places, so it couldnt possibly be that bad. I was BLOWN AWAY from the moment I moved in. The lakeside view was more than I could have asked for, with gorgeous sunrise color sequences and breathtaking sunsets. I get to see gondolas sailing by all the time, paddleboarders during the summer, and plenty of ducks, geese, and even seagulls gracing the lake. Every time I come home, its like walking into a personal suite at a lakeside resort. My apartment, though a 1 bedroom, has a comfortable living space and I love the granite counter tops in both the kitchen and bathroom.Amenities are excellent! We get TWO swimming pools (that light up with colorful LEDs at night), ping pong, fuse-ball and billiard tables, places for grilling, a nice gym, private meeting rooms, the list goes on...The atmosphere of this place is lovely! Even the parking garage is clean. They respond to work orders very quickly in my experience. Management is WONDERFUL! They get to know you by name, and they always greet you with a smile. Theyve recently had a change in management and Ive been totally fine with both.CONS:Not too many actually. Theyve been improving parking during the past year as its been a problem for residents getting a parking space on their floor sometimes, especially if they come home after 8pm or so, mostly due to guests parking in resident spaces. Its improved, but still, residents do find themselves parking in 5th/6th floor guest parking if they show up later in the evening. They do offer reserved parking for those interested. Maybe a couple of times, Ive seen shady characters show up to scope out the cars in the garage (Ive contacted the Irving police each time and theyve showed up quickly to investigate). Ive only heard of maybe two vehicle break-ins during my time here, which is actually pretty good compared to some of the other places Ive lived.Only other complaint is that the walls are indeed thin, but Ive lived in places where its thinner. I have people living above me who can be rather loud from time to time, but its not been too much of a problem. Same with the neighbors on either side. If theres really loud talking/laughing, you can hear it. Not clearly of course, but you definitely hear it. As for me, I try to tread quiet as a mouse, so my downstairs neighbors have it pretty nice.Im really glad I chose to live here at Lakeside Urban Center. Its everything I dreamed it would be and more! I dont see myself leaving here anytime soon. I highly recommend these apartments!

The management team here has been extremely helpful with getting any issues I have with my apartment promptly addressed and resolved for me.I can imagine the team in the leasing office is very busy with many residents they are working with, and I want to note my experience working with Courtney in the leasing office was top notch!Courtney & Sandy are extremely professional, are here everyday, and always follow up with me. Maintenance team is very responsive and resolves within 48hrs. Neighborhood is very quiet and safe. Since its near to lake so I get fresh air, beautiful view and a nice evening walk everyday. Its a safe community and has all the latest tech in gym and common area.

I have been living at Lakeside Urban Center for a year now. I have had a wonderful experience! We love the fact that we have such a beautiful view of Lake Carolyn from our balcony. My apartment itself is great, and the community in the complex is extremely friendly. I personally enjoy the gym, it is one of the nicer gyms that I have seen in an apartment complex. Overall management does an excellent job maintaining our amenities, and ensuring that the residents have a positive experience. Since my time living in Lakeside we have seen management put in speed bumps to make the parking garage safer, implement a new parking system for guests which has opened up more available spots for residents while keeping guests happy, revitalized our dog park (which my dogs love now), and even brought in a new package system which makes getting our packages so much easier and safer. While there were issues early on during the management change, I am so glad that I waited to post my review. The staff have done an outstanding job! I would highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone searching for a nice, upscale apartment located directly on Lake Carolyn. You just cant beat the level of service and the quality of our amenities that the staff here provides.

This is my first apartment after college, and I am super pleased with it so far. Michelle was great about touring the property and walking me through the relatively simple application process. Once I moved in, I was impressed by the cleanliness, the amenities, and the beautiful location right next to Lake Carolyn. Ive submitted two maintenance requests so far and both were addressed promptly.

This is my second apartment in Texas, The lake view from the house is fantastic. All the staff are so kind and considerate, it took only two days to decide to stay here. Latisha helped me on tour twice and her support was perfect. Thank you manager Anna for helping out with the tour as well too. I look forward to spending a happy time here and will recommend it to my friends.

The location is incredible, I love coming home to my apartment everyday, the staff are always helpful, especially Michelle who is the most welcoming and kind leasing agent. Because of how helpful she was during our property tour, we were confident we wanted to make Lakeside Urban our home.

Its so much we can say about Lakeside Urban Center....Its home, Its beautiful and the atmosphere of Lake Carolyn is very peaceful. We have been residents of Lakeside Urban Center for a few years now and the office manager and staff Anna and Michelle are beyond helpful....The grounds are kept well and the overall appearance of Lakeside is really nice..... Not to mention the nearby restaurants and Toyota Music factory also makes it a huge plus. We love to call Lakeside home.The Calhouns👍

My boyfriend and I have lived here for about two years. This has been the first apartment Ive lived in that really feels like home. Lane is friendly and sharp, shes usually always at the front desk and had my apartment number and name memorized by the first week. She always seems on top of things and is a good person to go to if you need help. She and the other staff really go out of their way to make us feel welcome. The amenities here are great but the staff are what really make this place worth it. They even have free lunches and dinners every few weeks!

We spent 10 months here. Pet friendly and the staff was great to work with. The amenities were as described. The maintenance staff was awesome and worked hard.Ive read some other reviews on here about how horrible the complex is. What these people need to understand is, if you choose to live in multi-housing, there needs to be a level of understanding and willingness to share and also a willingness to do your part to help keep it nice. The maintenance staff isnt your own personal maid service. I think the maintenance staff did awesome with maintaining the building given the fact that they have to clean up after tenants, I saw them cleanup tenant messes in a timely manner and they did it professionally. Im sure in their minds they were thinking, and these tenants are supposed to be professionals?The leasing agents were always friendly when I talked to them, because I talked to them with respect. Any issues were acknowledged and considered. The location was ideal. The train was right there for a carefree commute. We would have renewed our lease, but we bought a home.To have a good experience at any complex you need to1. Do your due diligence when moving in.2. Respect the rules and regulations of the facility.3. Respect your neighbors.4. Be considerate of your maintenance staff.5. And be Friendly.I would recommend Lakeside Urban Center for its location, Staff, and cleanliness of apartments.

I’m LOVING that I have a reserved spot now! Thank you Lakeside Urban Center for listening to my many requests for additional parking! I know I’m not the only person that lives here that has asked for more reserved parking and for the towing to be more strictly enforced. I’ve been on the waitlist for a spot for quite some time now and I appreciate Management working diligently on improving our parking garage!I’ve seen some of the other online reviews and I just think they’re crazy!! I, personally, have worked with everyone in the office for either one thing or another and they are all so helpful. These ARE luxury apartments and the staff here goes above and beyond to keep the property beautiful and clean, despite some of my not-so considerate fellow residents. There was a slump earlier this year, I’ll be honest. But I spoke to the leasing office and found out that apparently there was a new groundskeeper being hired on and I was assured he’d have the place looking better once he started and they weren’t lying!!! I love living here and I take pride in being able to call it my home. Don’t let the negative reviews deter you from this beautiful property, there’s no better place on the lake!! ❤️

I had the pleasure of touring with Courtney. She was so friendly, knowledgeable, and hard-working! My current apartment offered me a good deal to get me to stay put, otherwise i would have taken advantage of this wonderful property. The floor plans are beautiful with incredibly nice appliances, the amenities are off the charts, and being on Lake Carolyn is stunning.I highly recommend giving this place a try! You won’t be disappointed with the apartment itself and the customer service.

I’ve been living here for two years and I love everything there is to renting here and to be able to live in Las Colinas. From the views and strolls around the lake, small shopping center around the corner, restaurants nearby, and all amenities the complex has to offer: pools, grills, gyms, lounge area, study rooms, activity center, etc. New management has been an amazing experience for us, very responsive with maintenance and they are constantly working now on improving resident’s requests. Tish is so sweet and attentive to everyone’s needs. The staff here is so welcoming and understanding, you’re in good hands the moment you address anything with them.

The staff is so friendly, the complex stays clean and maintained, our pools are absolutely lovely and our maintenance staff is extremely quick. We also get a beautiful lake as our backyard. Rachel helped us every step of the way and accommodated all of our requests for information and assistance. Office staff were friendly, apartment on first floor was quiet, maintenance requests were completed same day.I had no issues with car break ins or theft, and my door was unlocked most of the time.Only complaint was the higher cost of rent, but still pretty standard for the neighborhood.

This is seriously THE BEST apartment ever! We have lived here for YEARS and it only getts better and better! Rachel and Sandy have helped us tremendoulsy as we are having a baby and needed to upgrade in square footage. We got everything worked out in two days and we now get to have the best of both worlds, and stay at Lakeside and have a bigger unit. This leasing team is AMAZING! Greystar takes time evaluating its employees and you can tell. MAINTENANCE, MANAGEMENT, LEASING, EVERYONE IS AMAZING! Lease here now!
