WE HAVE LIVED HERE FOR 10 YEARS & WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. THE LAKE IS BEAUTIFUL & FYI … IF U GO AROUND THE LAKE/TRACK 3 TIMES THATS ONE MILE. ITS NICE TO SEE PPL ENJOYING WALKING & RUNNING AROUND THE LAKE GETTING THEIR DAY GOING.ALEJANDRO AT THE OFFICE IS & HAS BEEN EXTREMELY HELPFUL & VERY KIND WITH A GREAT ATTITUDE. WE ARE VERY GRATEFUL. IF SOMEONE IS LOOKING TO FIND A NICE GREAT COMPLEX TO CALL HOME, WE CAN SAY LAKESIDE SHOULD BE IT. WE HAVE NEVER IN10 YEARS, HAD ANY BUGS IN OUR APARTMENT WHATSOEVER, OR ANY OTHER ISSUES OTHER THAN TRASH PICKUPS. I can tell you as the longest residing resident at this complex I have seen property management teams come and go. Property mangers that never respond back to the residents problems or ignore current problem conditions residents are experiencing. It usually comes down to dollars and if it cost money it often gets put on the back burner.We have gone through a tremendous amount of change since the change of ownership. Our new Property Manager Ashley has taken on a monumental task to keep residents happy and upgrade the existing property. Dealing with Vendor problems and conditions that were left in her lap from the last ownership to solve. Ashley has taken the bull by the horns and aggressively worked to improve the property. Yes we have had some issues, but I can tell you that if you want to live in a complex that cares about its residents then Lakeside at La Frontera is the complex to live in.Ashley is a property manager who takes pride in her work and seeks to better the community. You wont find a more caring and compassionate property manger in Austin than Ashley and her team. Constantly striving to do better and making changes on the fly when Vendors do not perform. It is not where you start but where you end up. And Ashely is making a difference every day she comes to work and pushes to improve the conditions and environment we live in.Listen to the Longest Residing Resident (me) who has seen a list of mangers / management teams and ownership changes who didnt care, and didnt have the time of day for their residents. Kudos to Ashley and her team ! Come visit the most exclusive Apartment Complex with the most involved Management team in Austin Lakeside at La Frontera, you will be glad you did.

I will say, if I had read the reviews prior to moving here, I would be elsewhere. I moved from another city a week ago and absolutely love my apartment. I will admit when I arrived, finally figured out the parking rules, and walked down the hallway, I was a little concerned. It doesnt take a lot of preparation to power wash. And with all of the complaints of smelly trash and nasty hallways, I would think that power washing the hallways would be a priority. Once I was in my newly renovated apartment, I was so happy. Its clean, roomy, and I feel safe. I placed a maintenence request for 4 different issues and they were resolved withing 24 hours. The front staff have been super welcoming and kind. Ash went out of her way to help me, as I moved across Texas.My biggest issue, thus far, is getting ahold of anyone in the office or them emailing in a timely manner. This too is a big issue with a lot of residents, after reading the reviews. If management would just have a person to answer the phone and emails, 80% of issues, not to mention happier residents, would result. At least give residents the respect in answering the phone and listening to them. The trash chutes are another issue. After reading there are rats, omg! There has to be another resolution. But I will say, my trash has been picked up every time. I am from a place where we took our own trash to the dumpsters. This method of placing our trash outside the doors is new to me and I will say, its not a health department thumbs up.Over all, my apartment is beautiful and clean. My dogs have adjusted very well. I also notice that most residents pick up dog waste and Lakeside has done a good job utilizing the dog stations and emptying the dog trash. I havent met any neighbors yet. I never see anyone. Its super quiet.

Ok, first of all- Id really like to meet Kurt- the longest resident at Lakeside. Seems very impartial and fair!I just started my second year at Lakeside and I will say I was nervous to do so. As many other residents pointed out, there was a bit of struggle from previous staff regarding follow-through- be it service requests, mail keys, or a simple call back. It was discouraging.However, there is nothing more amazing than that feeling of sudden relief after a constant headache. Ashley Cook and her new team have been nothing short of incredible as I struggled to get out of a very personal hell and into a new place. She not only showed consistent professionalism but immense empathy throughout my transition to a new lease. It is also very clear that the efficiency of the Lakeside office is run with model leadership as Ashley steadily teaches back to her team. Previously, if I had a question for a specific staff (based on a previous conversation I had with them), I was dismissed almost immediately or told theyd get back to me- when they never would. NOW- Im never turned away and Id like to think that I have a professional and honest rapport with each staff I have spoken to- Alejandro, Manali, and Ashley.In any business, its crucial to build positive relationships with customers, consumers, external stakeholders, etc. And its difficult to do that when people come in with rent on their mind- this team figured out how to invest and connect with residents...and still be badasses ;) Thank you!

Ive lived here for about 4 years and it has been my first home to my girl and I. We also have two dogs and love the area, there are 2 local dog parks and a field across the street for them to run. Our property manager Destiny has been a great towards during our stay, I highly recommend working with her! She will get your issues solved and make it happen, and is a great person to be around.

The only reason I am leaving the rating as high as I am is solely on the fact that Destiny and Alejandro are the ones who have helped me out. Over all my experience my lakeside has been good, safe complex , neighbors are respectful, and the front office staff ( all but Ashley). Throughout my stay I never knew who Ashley was until the end of my lease. Ashley is always in her office with the door shut, not personable , and is not willing to help out when situations arise. I will not go into great detail about my personal situation but Ashely had been made well aware of what I was going through towards the end of my stay and she has been absolutely RUDE. No sympathy had been shown and not an ounce of human decency. If you were to live at lakeside I would only recommend talking to destiny or Alejandro for help as they will be the only ones to actually care.

The leasing office team demonstrated exceptional knowledge about the property, its amenities, and the surrounding area, which made me feel confident in my decision to lease with them. They were patient and attentive, taking the time to understand my needs and preferences to help me find the perfect apartment. While its true that the property may need some work in certain areas, I believe that the team currently in place more than makes up for any shortcomings. Their dedication and commitment to improving the property are evident, and theyre doing their best to turn things around. Thanks for everything so far Lakeside team :)

I am Allavudeen Divan, I moved to Texas in Jul-2022. I wanted to reside in Round rock because, there are good schools and lots of Restaurants and Indian groceries available. Also Round Rock is located at the right spot, not too far from Austin. I did check multiple apartments, but finally I decided to go for Lakeside at La Frontera. My choice was good and I never had disappointments. I stayed over there for 14 months. I would love to share my experience. I see lots of Pros than Cons.Pros:La Frontera is a quite residential area. We have Walmart, Target, Dollar Tree, Best Buy, Man Pasand (Indian Grocery), Ross, BBY, Hobby Lobby, Levis, Mc Donald, Food Panda, Chick Fill A, etc are near to Lakeside at La Frontera apartment. All are located within 1.5 miles.The best high school in Round Rock is Round Rock High School. We get direct school bus pickup and drop from the apartment.My apartment was lake facing. I really enjoyed the view. I love the walk way around the lake. Plenty of nature. I love watching birds, squirrels, rabbits and turtles.I had two bed apartment, Both were spacious, big living room, nice kitchen, pretty good bath room with lots of mirror and storage space and balcony with lake view. It was amazing.I never had any problem from the neighbors. All were good people, kind enough and polite.The staff were really amazing. Destiny, Sara, Carol from the office are very much supportive. Whenever I go to leasing office, they helped me out immediately.The support staff were also great. Especially the two Mexicans, though they don’t speak English, Whenever I raise a support request to fix, within 48 hours they did address the issue. Always served with smile. We became friends without knowing the names and language. :-)All the staff were very much reachable, polite and awesome customer care. I really loved it. Thanks Destiny, Sara and Carol and the two Mexican support staff.The Garage was a good option to park the car. Ample space, safety from hot sun, rain and hail storm.Cons:The first one is from the management and not from the team at the ground. They insist to go for Jetty insurance for deposit. If someone don’t have money for the deposit, it make sense for them to go for Jetty Insurance. But I had money to pay deposit, despite I was forced to take Jetty Insurance which was a loss for me at the end of the contract. I gave a feedback on this. But no action was taken. The money I paid for Jetty had gone waste.Some times the walk way (Corridor) smells due to residents keep the garbage near their door. I would say that It was not a mistake of management. But, every resident’s responsibility to keep their place clean. There is a garbage pickup hours, If everyone respects that, this could have been avoided.Conclusion:If I have to go back to Round Rock. I would love to go back to Lakeside La Frontera without any question. I definitely would recommend anyone to go and checkout it out. Overall, It is a quite, nice and safe place to live and easy access to all shopping needs. I am missing the Lakeside at La Frontera apartment and the team.. Again, Thanks a lot to Destiny, Sara, Carol and the support team. Great Job!!. Keep it up.

Ive been living here for over four years now and Ive been really pleased with the improvements the new management has made. They are prompt with repairs, quick to reply to questions, and are always trying to make things better for our community. The location couldnt be better, with easy access to major highways and shops nearby at La Frontera. The covered garage is so nice because I can park on my level and never get rained on when carrying in my groceries, and being able to park in the shade during summer is wonderful. The lockers are great for packages so I can pick up deliveries at any time. The walking trail around our lake is an added bonus, as are the courtyard areas offering more green space. They have upgraded units and theyve made improvements to the pool, gym and clubhouse areas, too. If you havent checked out this community in a while, I recommend you come take another look.

Destiny and Alejandro are literally the best, they’re super patient and communicative and I’ve been living here for almost a year. Any problems that come up Alejandro helps right away even when he’s busy. I recommend this place because after living on other apartments, they were always super rude or passive aggressive but not here. Love this place!

Man. If I could only move back to lakeside if it was affordable. I lived there two years ago.I lived there for 5 years. I never had any issues. Tracy was the manger back then and Loretta was maintenance. If you only knew my experience at a sister properly here in San Antonio you would love lakeside. I’ll leave it at that. I hope the property I’m at will follow through with what they say. Be lucky to live at lakeside it’s a beautiful property with a lot of amenities. Next to hotels for family. Covered parking and neat shopping centers and restaurants. It makes me want to move back to round rock. Don’t forget the trail they have on property. It helped a lot during COVID.

I absolutely LOVE that the only bill NOT included in the rent is electric! Yes, EVERYTHING is included, internet, cable tv if you want to use it, valet trash, parking in a garage so your vehicle is safe from the weather, washer and dryer in unit, using the portal for anything to check out any parties going on (which are fun and something really neat to meet your neighbors!). I highly recommend this property. I’ve been here since November of 2020, renewed my second lease, and am looking forward to renewing again. The property manager Paris cares deeply and passionately about the community and making her property tenants happy as well as getting units renovated and more improvements to come is what I hear! This place is wonderful already and I can’t wait to see what Lund Living will wow is with this coming year! :)

I have lived in many apartments but simply must say Lakeside @ La Frontera has been my favorite place because of the staff and quality of customer service they provided! Traci, and Harry the front office Managers are SO Kind, and were always helpful anytime I came in! The maintenance staff are very good people who worked quickly and efficiently to complete repairs anytime we needed! I want to say we needed repairs twice during our 3 year stay. I’m So Happy we purchased a home but sad we were leaving such amazing people!! Every apartment complex will have issues that’s a given and most of the time it’s out of anyone’s control! What I enjoyed about my time living at La Frontera is everyone working here had a genuine heart to help tenants! The Best thing is the NEW OWNER who purchased La Frontera less then a year ago has made so many improvements from replacing parking lot lights to painting the exterior building, interior hallways and enforcing rules keeping the community in tip top shape! Thanks La Frontera for Simply Being Amazing

Ive lived here for almost 3 years and I love it! The location is great. Its a quiet SAFE area. The staff is wonderful Derek and Jeff always help you with any kind of problem. Maintenance is prompt. No bug problems, no neighbor problems, although the walls are a little thin, I could always hear my upstairs neighbors fighting, and the guy next door singing and the parking is a little frustrating. I recommend getting on the list for a reserved spot ASAP its definitely worth the 10 dollars a month. Undoubtedly the best apartments Ive ever lived in. The only reason Im moving when my lease is up is because Im getting into a house otherwise I would live here forever.

Great location, fair price and new ownership making massive improvements which is great, but the reason I love it here is a staff that cares. Shout out to our property manager, Traci, who does a great job! Harry in the office is attentive and caring. Loretta in maintenance works tirelessly to get everyone taken care of. It is truly a team effort and i feel safe here.

Lived here for 2 years now 2 different units. Each apartment has always been well maintained and clean when I moved in and any issue I have is always handled promptly as can be expected. Great leasing office staff. Shout out to Alexandria helped me with my latest move to a larger unit made things very smooth and made sure every question or concern I had was answered. Great place to live!

I have now been here for awhile and I must say this place is amazing, by far one of the best places I have lived. The on boarding process was smooth and easy. The reason for the ease is Traci (Manger) and Matt (assist manger) for being outstanding. The communication among staff and the transparence to future tenants is above and beyond. You will always catch them with a smile and willing to help in any situation. Harry who also helps with on boarding is great in all aspects as well. Anytime you go into the office with a small questions or perhaps a concern it is always greeted with a great response and eagerness to help.Loretta (maintenance) has a wonderful personality. She left a work order informing me of the new stove installed into my place. She answered all questions I had about the stove going way beyond her duty to answer the simplest of questions I had to the more complicated ones. Her knowledge base is outstanding to the extent it helps in any case.The leasing office has a welcoming feel to it as if you are coming home or visiting family. They decorate it just enough for the holidays. The pool is just behind it with a wonderful waterfall that is fun to play in, in the summer. Just relaxing for a nice tan next to it is also nice. Staying summer ready all year around. The fire place outside is perfect for hang outs to enjoy the outdoors.The views of the lake in the morning is breath taking as the ducks play and fly and even dive under the water. The turtles love to hang out on the rocks in the lake. There are benches along the path circling the lake to sit and enjoy the view of nature.Of course this is my opinion of the place and my experience that I’ve had. I know this is long but this place deserves a detail review so others can understand the joys of staying here. This diamond is worth the find amongst the roughage.

Im a recent deployment from Washington,DC to Texas. Mrs. Destiny Castillo, has been DESTINY for my two children and I entirely. She and the staff here at Lakeside have been exceptional assisting me, regarding the move in process, expectations/deadlines, locating schools, and most importantly understanding how things work here within our community. The ONLY reason I will ever move, is to become a homeowner. However, if Lakeside ever decides to build-out/manage a housing community, Ill be the first on the list. Thanks for everything.

A nice place to live on a budget. Covered parking has been amazing, minus everyone thinking they drive a 80k car and double parking. The staff is always helpful (shout out to Jeff). I just have some minor issues. The sink faucet is no where near long enough or tall enough to work effectively. Dishwasher drain has never really worked properly resulting in a slightly stinky smell after draining. You also live by the Round Rock Express. The train isnt too loud but its there.... I have honestly enjoyed my time at this complex. No major pest issues. Neighbors have been non existent. No billing issues. cabinets and vanity are a bit dated. The carpet is older but i believe they are replacing it after move out in all the units.

We lived here for a year. Its quiet and nice. The location is great. We never had any bad neighbors. Whenever we had something that needed fixed (always minor), the maintenance came that day or the next and fixed it right the first time. The hallways were eirie at first, but you get used to it. The parking (in a garage) is the only downside, it could be a good walk to your apartment (depending on where youre located) and the spaces are tight. Overall its a great place to call home.

Came to tour “ Lakeside at La Fronteria” after experiencing a Horrific and appalling experience with Enclave at La Fronteria 😡 ( bad apartment complex- with staffing not caring for your well-being, only wanting to cover up the roaches infestation issues)However, as a New resident, at “Lakeside at La Fronteria” I want to share my own personal review. I have not have the luxury of experiencing the apartment living for awhile. “ Lakeside at La Fronteria”and the entire staff has made it more enjoyable and welcoming that my 1st experience in over 10 years has been the best.I want to Thank my very own Leasing Agent Consultant Destiny Castillo who’s made my transition easy and unforgettable to know that while at “ Lakeside at La Fronteria “ you are surrounded by staff who care about your living area and are not just any employees, but welcome you as Family and to make your apartment living your home.“ Lakeside at La Fronteria Apartments are pretty spacious , affordable and well kept building to reside in.Home is where you make it, Thank you Destiny Castillo.

Wonderful staff, maintenance has always been reliable and the price is competitive. We have lived at this location since 2009. Cons: You can hear the train running throughout the day/night. I have witnessed people not being careful and hitting the beams they parked next to.

This has been a great place. I am leaving only because I have to move out of town for work. It is very clean and safe, maintenence requests are answered promptly and the overall ambience is pleasant. Although be forwarned, there a few rotten residents who will damage your vehicle.

WE WANTED TO THANK HER FOR ADDRESSING MANY THINGS & LET HER KNOW HOW GRATEFUL WE ARE & OTHER RESIDENTS WE SPOKE TO. THE LAKE LOOKS GREAT SO FAR & ROUND ROCK IS CLEANING IT ALL UP. LORETTA IS HER NAME I BELIEVE & WE LOVE THAT LADY SHES A SUPER WOMAN TO ME & SHE WILL FIX ANYTHING & TAKE CARE OF YOU‼️HOWEVER WE ARE IN AGREEMENT WITH MOST PPL ABOUT HOW THEY ARE CHANGING HOW RENT IS PAID. THERE SHOULD OF BEEN A FORM SENT OUT FOR EVERYONES INPUT FIRST.MATT... I BELIEVE IS THE ASSISTANT MGR AND WE LOVE HIM. HE GOES ABOVE & BEYOND TO HELP YOU SINCE FIRST DAY WE MET HIM. WE NEED TO CLONE THAT MAN. HE HAS A POSITIVE ATTITUDE & I LOVE HIM AS MUCH AS I DID DEREK THAT WORKED THERE. MATT (DONT KNOW HIS LAST NAME) IS PURE AMAZING. SOOOOO THANK U TRACI, MATT & LORETTA... WE JUST NEED VERY FRIENDLY OFFICE STAFF THAT IS CONSISTENTLYNICE TO EVERYONE. GREAT PLACE FOR ABSOLUTE SURE.
