I wanted to wait until I had lived here for some time before I wrote a review. I’ve been here for 7 months now and, I can honestly say, it’s a great place to live. The location is fantastic and the area is very convenient and feels safe. I walk my dogs early in the morning when it’s still dark out and it’s always quiet and the only people I run into are friendly folks in the adjacent neighborhood. The area to let your dogs do their business is small and there’s really nowhere to put a dog park or anything. However, with the adjacent neighborhood and River Oaks being only a 5 minute walk away, there’s plenty of good, accessible dog walking areas. There’s also a Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, and HEB within a mile. Plus a ton of bars and restaurants. The building isn’t brand new and, as such, requires some renovations from time to time. Management seems to address these issues in a timely manner and maintenance staff are always super friendly and helpful. The parking garage feels secure, which seems to be an issue at many Houston apartments. I never worry about my vehicles in there. The pool area is nice, although I wish more people took advantage of it. It’s empty 99% of the time; which can be good or bad, depending on how you look at it. This is a quiet complex as a whole, with young professionals who are neighborly but keep to themselves mostly. As for the unit itself, it’s fantastic. I have a corner unit and it’s huge. The appliances are nice and the layout is great. I love the high ceilings and the massive bath tub. The porch is also twice as big as any I’ve had at previous apartments. I think the value for the price you pay is second to none for this part of town. Overall, my complaints are so minor as to not even bring up here with all the positives of this place. I intend to re-sign my lease (as long as the rate doesn’t increase dramatically) and would recommend anyone interested in apartments in the area to check it out. My quality of life has definitely improved since moving here.

I am a resident at Gables Revere Upper Kirby. I moved in last December and realized that I needed a few bulbs replaced. Luis came by a couple of hours after I submitted my maintenance request and helped me replace 3 lightbulbs and told me about certain switches that needed to be kept on for certain power sockets. He was extremely helpful, efficient, and polite.

Gables Revere Upper Kirby is a beautiful property! Whats even better is the awesome staff, especially Carmen Thomas! Carmen helped me tour the property and answered all my questions in a timely manner. She was personable and professional. Carmen is kind, knowledgeable, and eager to provide great customer service. I highly recommend this place!

An oasis. Whether you work from home or come home late, the lounge on the ground floor helps you do more. Or less. If you see what I mean. Its downright comfortable. Also, if youre like me, youll have loads of questions well after you move in. And for those, youll be grateful to speak with Tori and Curtis in the main office. Two thumbs up.Update June 2024: Maintenance is a common topic for any building. Although this property is not the Continental Hotel, it does have a John Wick of sorts: Oscar, the Head of Maintenance. His team and he hunt down a long list of deliverables: safety, mechanical, electrical, and more. Oscar personally showed up to address a concern of mine and, in the process, explained the physics of the HVAC unit in my apartment. Much appreciated.

Overall, this property is a good deal in price, quality, and location. I have lived for half a year with my roommate and am now transferring to a studio. Tori and Carmen helped with the transfer smoothly and always solved every request I made. To be honest, it is quite old property but maintained well. I can see how they try their best in maintenance. every time I request maintenance, they take care of it within 1-3 days.

I recently had the pleasure of touring Gables Upper Kirby Revere, and I cant say enough good things about this community. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the modern amenities on the first floor, stylish decor, and the overall cleanliness of the property. The facilities are top-notch, including the fitness center, pool, and communal areas, all of which are meticulously maintained.A special shout-out goes to Curtis Cole, who made my tour process incredibly smooth and easy. Curtis was professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the property. He took the time to answer all my questions and ensured that I felt welcomed and comfortable for my future new home. His dedication to excellent customer service is evident, and he truly goes above and beyond for residents.The location of Gables Upper Kirby Revere is another big plus. Its conveniently situated near great dining, shopping, and entertainment options, making it easy to enjoy the vibrant Kirby area.Overall, Gables Upper Kirby Revere is a fantastic place to live, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new home. The combination of luxurious living spaces, exceptional amenities, and outstanding customer service, particularly from Curtis Cole, makes it a standout choice.

Arriving here from Dallas I was not only welcomed warmly it was the epitome of Houstonian Spirit. I have Curtis and his coworkers to thank for that. Curtis helped me transition to this location from logistics, handshakes, easy paperwork, and online navigation I need to figure out where the guy gets his snazzy outfits from. He is a professional of utmost attention to the smallest of details while maintaining a smile and mannered attitude. Everyone here has been kind and thoughtful. As a veteran, I appreciate the amount of security that this place has. The location is unbeatable and inside is so peaceful. If youre trying to move to Houston just ask for Curtis and hell show you how to make a hard job look easy. Thanks Curtis, and thank you Gables for helping my new home feel like home.

I’ve lived at the community almost 3 years now and I’ve enjoyed my stay. The community is quiet and all of my neighbors over the years have been friendly and welcoming. Maintenance requests are always completed quickly and the property is well kept. Would certainly recommend!

The best thing about this Gables complex is the maintenance. Within a day of putting in a work order request, they always come to fix the issue or let you know if there might be a delay due to ordering parts. They are the most efficient maintenance team that I have had before.The second best thing are the Gables events, which have really increased in frequency within the last year. They have amazing get togethers with free food sourced from local restaurants and usually fun events like massages, pool parties, white elephants.Other big pluses of this residence are excellent open parking garage, no bugs or excessive noise from neighbors, and pretty good amenities between the pool, workout room, and communal areas.Only complaints would be that another grocery cart would be a huge addition and the elevators are down a little too often.Highly recommend Gables Revere Upper Kirby.

Im so happy I found this place! I went in to take a look at the Gables Revere, and Lawrence gave me the tour and answered any questions I had, and completely sold me on it; his knowledge and enthusiasm helped make my decision that much easier. So much so, that I submitted an application about an hour after my tour. The building is well kept and quiet. Amenities are a huge selling point, but for me its the GIANT bathtub in the apartment and amazing pool. Not to mention the location couldnt be any better. Psyched to be a part of this community, and the staff definitely makes you feel welcome.

I haven’t moved in yet, however based on the tour that Lawrence sent me via phone I am impressed. Lawrence has made my transition from New York to Houston smooth, as he explained everything in detail and provided updates on what was going on and my next steps.Lawrence was a great resource not only is he polite but extremely helpful and easy to get in touch with. I’m excited on my move to Gables. Lawrence was a great help.

Great community feel located close to everything. Lawrence was great! Did a fantastic job understanding my needs. Took away one star because the hallway carpet in the building I viewed was really dirty. You could see several pet accidents and spills that had been sitting for a while. Still a community to consider based on the staff and location.

We had the opportunity to tour Gables Revere last month and loved what we saw! The facilities, the gym (which has a stairmaster!), pool, and the apartments were so impressive that our friend did not want to look at any other apartments after seeing Gables. Lawrence Rachal did an amazing job showing us around, was professional, answered all our questions and was able to give us a perspective of the apartments that was pertinent to what we were looking for. He was kind and made it a point to keep in contact with us even after our visit. We were so impressed by the apartment and their employees. Everything was beautiful and well kept!

Ive lived here for a while and recently needed to get some paperwork done to do a roommate switch and Tori from the front office turned what wouldve been a headache of confusing procedure, emailing, and a mountain of paperwork into a breeze.She went out of her way to reach out when updates needed to be made asap and she even helped address some long-standing maintenence issues that had been sitting on the backburner for ages. I know she always has my back in the front office and if you need any help moving or updating your lease shes responsible and responsive.

I lived at Revere for over a year and really loved it there. It was a quiet building that had everything I needed! Parking was a huge plus never had to worry about where to park always found a spot by the elevator. Maintenance was great and resolved any issue super quick. Everyone in the office was always so friendly!

Everyone with Management and the maintenance crew have been extremely helpful and daily go above and beyond to make sure that my time living here was smooth and issue free. Incredible location, restaurants/ bars and grocery shopping literally a short walk away. Sad to be leaving but highly encourage anyone looking for a spot in this area to rent here!

We have now been a resident here for one month. Our move in experience was smooth and easy. Lawrence was on top of our move in and any questions we had. Our unit is really nice and roomy for us. So far the community is quite and have not had any bad experiences with the residents. The parking garage usually has several open spots and not difficult to find parking. I have not been able to use much of the amenities yet but looking forward to the courtyard outdoor kitchen and fireplace. Some small downsides but not major is the age of the building. Since the building is not new you do see some of the age, elevator is noisy, building can make some creaky noises and the finishings may have some minor flaws. Non of these issues have deterred my opinion just some notes for others to be aware of went renting from an older building.
