Im gonna start by saying this place is a beautiful, amazing, happy, professional, peaceful space. I have lived here for one year and a couple of months and time has flown by because of the amount of communion, care, & transparency that is provided by the illustrious team of Emerson at Red Oak. The vibe here is very progressive, organized, and comforting. They are very kind, polite and the service is top-tier day in and day out. Any questions, concerns, comments, suggestions, or inquiries that you may have as a tenant are taken into great consideration, listened to, and resolved in a professional and studious manner as every establishment should try to strive for. Being fair for both parties.This establishment knows what theyre doing and will communicate everything to you through multiple means & always with a proper & attentive attitude for your comprehension. Aside from this as a member of the LGBTQ, it can be daunting to have to find a place you call home, feeling secure, stable & most importantly safe. That is no small task, especially due to the current state of our Nation, although I digress being I hate politics.The epilogue of my experience here was a heartfelt one. I stumbled across this complex when I was in the market looking for a new upgraded apartment home and was pleased when the decision was clear. Everything I needed & wanted from my checklist was knocked out of the park. I wanted an attached garage, new appliances, good amenities, a simple morning drive to work, a long lease term, close proximity to necessities like grocery stores, pharmacies & restaurants, hardwood floors, a fitness area & most importantly a spacious closet for my wardrobe 💅🏾.I applied with Ms. Sarah who gracefully took my concerns, questions, and budget into consideration and made sure I was comfortable, confident, and at peace with my choice of apartment from the wide selection I was shown. The application process was simple, easy, and painless emotionally & mentally allowing me a 1,2,3 process. This was crucial being I had just lost my Dad and was juggling putting him to rest as well as moving apartments within days of the same week. When I applied to Emerson I didnt know how much of a blessing and amazing time I would have coming home from a long day & decompressing in a newly built complex. Compared to my previous apartment home (No shade although Emerson is hard to beat at this point in time in my book.)Ms. Christy is the new property manager and she has been a delightful treat to work with and create a business & sentimental relationship with. She makes that her mission & shows it with her actions that she truly cares about her tenants. She always has a smile on her face and greets you with a classy, but knowledgeable poise. Lastly but certainly not least is Ms. Daniella. From the day I met her, she has always radiated a cheerful, patient, trustworthy, honest, caring, respectful approach to her job & does her best as a key member of the resident team. They take you seriously and at face value and do their best to accommodate you as a tenant. I can honestly say that I am satisfied with my care thus far & I look forward to renewing my lease within the coming year, God willing.Kind RegardsRB/GB 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Another Edit:Updating my review based on the manager Christy coming in and getting things resolved. When I initially left the review they came out and fixed the outside issue and then about a week or so came back to fix the inside. Christy I believed just took over as the property manager as my issue was finally getting in motion to be resolved. She followed up after the inside was done to see how I liked the repairs. I told her it was subpar and a couple days later (I was out of town when she followed up) she came with maintenance to review with me and they got it fixed up very nicely. Her attention to ensuring everything was too standard turned a terrible situation into a nice so bad situation. Overall Ive been here almost a year and that was my only real issue. The walls are thin (what apartments arent though), however I had the luxury of being around quiet neighbors. The amenities they have here are unmatched compared to other properties in the Red Oak area. I love the dog spa the most because well got some place to clean my dog vs going somewhere. I never had issues getting my packages or them being stolen. I started to really enjoy and love my apartment after that issue was resolved and if I had to recommend a place I would recommend them now because they are really nice apartments and as long as Christy stays on as manager I dont see issues persisting as long as I dealt with. She really came in and got to work and I appreciate that. I no longer feel like its the slums lol. Thanks Christy for turning my experience completely around! Is it worth the price now...YES! Emerson is in good hands now with Christy onboard!Edited Review: After I made this review it seemed like I got some movement going with my water issue. It made me kind of excited because sheeesh finally getting this resolved after 7/8 months. I submitted the work order AGAIN back in like March and requested to not close it out until fully resolved. They closed the ticket after only fixing the outside. The inside of my apartment still has water damage and the ticket was closed. By far this is the worst apartments Ive ever lived in. Ive never had to deal with this type of issue, and if I ever needed something fix in my previous apartments it got done quickly and right. For these to be newly built and the problems they have...feels like living in the slums. I absolutely see why the turnover rate with people moving out is high. I cannot wait for my lease to be up. Changed from 2 stars to 1 stars.I moved to this complex back in September as they were newly built and I loved the amenities being offered. My stay here has been ok but not great like I imagined considering the amount I pay for the apartment. My main concern is that I live in a unit that floods by the front door when it rains heavily and so my floorboards have water damage and Im pretty sure mold in the walls as they have yet to fix the issue and its May. I had my first big rainfall in October of 2023 and at the time I brought the issue to their attention. They put a band aid over the issue and told me they would get it resolved. It has not been resolved. The walls are thin but Im fortunate enough to have my upstairs neighbors move which decreased a lot of the noise. I can hear the A/C unit of the upstairs apartment which makes it sound like my unit is on when it is not so thats frustrating because I dont want to hear a unit turning on and off unless its mines. The noise I could deal with but the water is a major NO for me. I dont want health issues because of mold. This issue alone is the main reason why I would not release here. I had planned to stay for a while like my last residence but too much money being spent for a mediocre apartment. I honestly cant wait to move. I can pay less and have same features in my old apartments. I only left them because these were new but new vs old doesnt compare to the quality I was getting before I moved here.

Ive been in Emerson apartment for almost a year, and I have had the best living experience since Ive been here. I havent had one issue since I moved into these apartments. Hopefully, it will remain that way. Thank you to all the staff for making this a great place to live.

Living here has been amazing! as a first time renter, i was nervous touring / committing to an apartment complex. christy in the office was so kind and answered all the questions my boyfriend and i had, which was a lot! it was easy to choose this complex in comparison to the ones nearby. the amenities, floorplans, specials, and the patience / kindness of the staff sold us! we’ve been here for a month already and are loving our new home together 🤍 thank you christy, and thank you emerson!

Very thankful we have an EXCELLENT APARTMENT MANAGER AND TEAM in the office. The issues were resolved and addressed quickly. No more loud and smoking tenants above me. It’s a very peaceful and quiet community.

Im apartment hunting and this property was one of my tops I visited this last weekend! Is a little far from family but I will still consider it. I had to come here and just give kuddos to the young lady that assisted me. I believe her name is Sarah and she was just delightful to talk to! Leasing office was immaculate! Decor on point and the vibe was just it!

I haven’t moved in yet but went in today to tour and Rachel was absolutely amazing great customer service. The apartments are very nice. I toured a one bedroom (small one) but really interested in a one bedroom with garage attachment. I will definitely be back in 6-7 months ready to move in.

I moved to the Emerson in September and I have had a great experience living here. The office staff is very friendly and helpful, the grounds are well maintained and the maintenance staff handles any needed repairs in a quick and efficient manner. The amenities are very nice and overall this is a great place to live.

Moved in August 2023. I love my apartment. Direct access to unit through garage. The noise from 2nd floor neighbors are terrible.My first night I called, emailed and voice my concerned regarding hearing neighbors through thin walls. I have called and emailed several times. Finally, spoke with Jamie Matsumo, Greystar Regional Manager. She told me I was sensitive to noise.The walls are very thin. You can hear your neighbors walk up and down stairs, walking from the kitchen to bedroom. The neighbors above me have a toddler. I can hear the toddler running around and crying for her mother.I was told I would have to move to another unit or pay the $3600 to get out of my lease.The neighbors above my garage have over 4 kids living in a 1 bedroom and the noise are terrible. You can hear the kids jumping off the bed.Office staff are great but the quality of the apartment are made very poor and rushed. Don’t let the beauty of the units fool you. These apartments are too expensive to hear your neighbors talking, walking, and breathing. The units are NOT SOUNDPROOF!

The problem is, trashy people are moving in. They have pets they dont pickup after. They smoke inside the building. (Theyre connected) even though there is a no smoking clause in the rental agreement. For the past 3 days this chain smoker in building 10 have been spreading his dirty cigarette smell throughout the building. Prick needs to be fined. My wife and i cant sleep well. We cough and choke. Thank god we have an air purifier.Im sad that such a nice place has these inconsiderate dirty ghetto trashy people moving in. I hope they get evicted.Update. 5 days have past. Theyre still smoking. Nothing done.Update. 6 days theyre still smoking. Nothings been done.Update. 7 theyre still smoking.... July 8th. Seems like every night theyre still smoking inside building 10.Final update. The managers at the emerson took care of business. Thank you for the speedy correction.

Just moved in and I absolutely love my apartment. The community is beautiful and the apartment was super clean and I love everything about it. I have to brag about the amazing staff. Brenda and the leasing staff are amazing. Customer service was top tier and they made the process super simple and easy. I’ve been living here for going on 2 years and I love my apartment. The community is also located in a great neighborhood, which makes it a plus. Also had the pleasure of meeting with the office staff as I normally handle everything online or over the phone. They were so incredibly nice and helpful with what I needed.

The front ladies are so AMAZING. I mean they literally listen to every concern you have and they make you feel safe and welcomed. Sarah helped me with all the information I needed and I absolutely love that about her. The apartments are beautiful and feel like HOME and safe especially when you have an infant it’s always a must to live somewhere safe and comfortable and these apartments are exactly what I was looking for. The community is Also very welcoming….it’s always good to look out for everyone/neighbors around you and take care of eachother! I absolutely recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a home☺️

I am a new tenant at Emerson @ RED OAK ! The Customer experience is nothing short of amazing . Tameka and Sarah WOW these young ladies truly LOVE what they do and I appreciate the concern they show for everyone that walks through the front door . I wasnt going to lease with this community because we all have options but I didnt find customer excellence any other place that I went too like what I experienced here at Emerson @ Red Oak . I kept calling kept going back worrying those ladies to death but all they showed was compassion that is rare in 2023 .I love it there for now Its quiet and beautiful and I hope it continues to get better . Brenda the manager is a class act . If leadership is strong then the staff is even more strong. Please continue on this Journey of being KIND and caring. See you beauties later and you know I will be in the office for something Lol . Oh yes Allie is exceptional as well they fit together like a hand to a glove .

I would like to say during the last few weeks after the flood happened l was unsure how to feel about the Emerson property. But I must say my experience with the management Ms.Valen was very helpful she gave me reassurance that everything would be fix like new and it was.. Sincerely all the young ladies in the office are great Ms.Valen showed she cared and thank you so much....😊
