    Brem living here for 2 years and its been nothing but the best experiences. Karla runs a tight ship and her staff are top notch in the industry. Destiny goes out of the way to provide exemplary service to existing and potential tenants. Work orders are taken care of fast and easy. Clean and neat grounds. Great amenities! Very much a proactive team and you feel it living here. Beautiful pool! Great location!

    My husband and I have lived in this apartment for more than 2 years and spent some of the most beautiful moments of our lives, everything about this apartment is perfect! The rooms are spacious, living room is big and full of light, closets are very roomy and the bathrooms are pretty nice too!Our family has now grown and it’s time for us to finally move into a bigger place but this will always be my first home.The place is also close to most of the attractions in town and has grocery store and multiple restaurants on a walking distance.The management has also always been really nice and attentive to solve any problems that we’ve had. Special thanks to Salie for making us fall in love with the place the moment we saw it!Bonus: our unit has the prettiest sunset view which I’m definitely gonna miss!

    I have lived in this apartment for two years. I like how responsive staff are to service requests and I like how there’s always food trucks coming by which gives me a chance to eat out without having to drive far from home. My apartment is cozy and comfortable. I think that if they get Google fiber, it’ll be even better. Many of my neighbors would love to have it, too. Fingers crossed they implement it. I enjoy how quiet it is, too. Great place to live

    Been living here for a year now & we love it!! Everything is so nice & clean!! The maintenance team is always quick to help with whatever needs to be done; they even helped discard tons of boxes for us whenever we were unable to!! We’ll definitely be signing for another year 🥰

    I had the pleasure of touring the property and meeting Gilbert. He was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain all the features of the property, including the floorplan I was interested in. Gilbert’s professionalism and expertise were top-notch, and I’m giving him a solid 5 stars. On my way out, I met Karla and Kaylee, who both came out to greet me and ask how my tour went. It was so nice to meet them! I’m excited to submit my application and start living in this amazing community!

    This property and their management is great and we are sad to go! We had communication with super fast turn around times. I definitely suggest stopping in and trying to rent an apt with them. Even the work orders get done fast and office are opened every weekend!

    I absolutely love living at this community! My apartment is wonderful. The amenities are top-notch. The staff has been great to work with. Salaie ,Gilbert, and Karla are always super helpful.     I’ve stayed at this location for 2 1/2 years and it has been the most enjoyable experience I’ve ever had with an apartment complex. Maintenance is quick to respond and the staff management is always willing to work with you in any of your circumstances. The apartment units are extremely beautiful and have modern appliances. The location is also perfect since it is close to a police station and a more quiet neighborhood for people who like to be close to downtown, but not be around the noise it brings. Ray and Salaie were both amazing assistant managers who truly went above and beyond for me multiple times, and are always willing to lend a helping hand if you ask for it.Thank you so much Boardwalk Research for an amazing experience!!!

    I am grateful for stumbling upon this apartment with girlfriend. Not only is the community clean, quiet, and peaceful but the apartments are worth living in.     I just moved into the Boardwalk Research apartments and everyone from the staff has been nothing but welcoming and helpful through out this experience. I especially want to give a shout out to Karla Maury, one of the Community Managers, for assisting me through this process. She is the absolute sweetest, and I wouldn’t have asked for anyone else to help me with this experience. Since then, I’ve loved living at this complex!

    I just moved in and had an issue with my stove. The management immediately helped get the process started and Clarance, the onsite engineer was out the same day to troubleshoot the issue. It was determined that the stove needed replacing and Clarance had one procured and installed the next day. Amazing service and professionalism from this team. I’m highly impressed and would recommend this property to all!

    After living on military housing for so many years, this was our first time renting an appartment off base. Boardwalk Research has made finding an appartment the best experience ever. Management and all there Team has done an outstanding job in ensuring everyone is taken care off and providing top notch customer service. As a matter of fact, we had to serice our door locks when we moved in, and the maintenance team took care of it super quick; amazing Job.     I have lived here for an over a year now but I renewed my lease because I have had the best experiences here! The staff is really attentive to any concerns I may have & fixes it right away. They are seriously the friendliest staff! The area is in a great location & it is very quiet. The amazon lockers, pool, & gym are easy & nice to use.     We have lived here over 4 years and don’t usually write reviews.. Over the last few months we have had multiple issues in our apartment and maintenance team was resolving those issues successfully. I would like to show my appreciation for Hayder especially because he was the one who handled most of those issues promptly. One of the examples is Yesterday I had a problem with the dryer and today, Hayder patiently troubleshooted it till he made sure that it is functional before he left. .Kudus for all the effort and the hard work!

    Definitely the closest “home” feeling I’ve had at an apartment. I’ve renewed my lease 5 times now and haven’t regretted it for a moment. The community is quiet, small, and a lot of quality for your dollar. The location is convenient as it’s right near the i10 and a short drive from downtown, the rim, and other popular areas. If I had to pick a favorite part it’s definitely the unique floor plans and quality of interior. I love the layout of my 1 bed, the sink is HUGE which is really nice, the appliances are all stainless steel, and I’m fan of the laundry room and foyer area that most units have. Overall 5/5 rating from me!

    Had an issue where my ceiling fan just.. stopped working and had to file a work order. Clarence was the man for the job and took care of this matter in well under 24 hours with his actual labor being around 20min. I blinked and it was done. Hes one of the many great workers here at the complex!

    I recently had the pleasure of leasing an apartment at this wonderful complex, and I cant say enough good things about this place. The entire experience, from viewing to move-in, was seamless and enjoyable. The major standout, however, was the leasing professional, Raymond Mireles. His professionalism, knowledge, and genuine enthusiasm made the process stress-free. Raymond went above and beyond to address all my concerns and ensure I found the perfect home. His exceptional service truly sets this place apart. I highly recommend both the complex and the outstanding assistance provided by Raymond Mireles.

    Having lived here for 3+ Years so far, I have nothing but praise for the staff and maintenance staff here at Boardwalk Research. The staff over the years have been quick to attend to any issues Ive had with basic maintenance (light going out, filter needing replacement, A/C repairs) and its been an awesome experience. A++ to Haider and crew for the quick turnaround time on service requests! At nighttime when I had my deadbolt break on me during one of the recent cold fronts, emergency maintenance was here in less than 30 minutes to make sure I was able to get into my place. I highly recommend taking a tour of this community if you have time because I promise its more than worth it!

    Living here at Boardwalk was an enjoyable experience! It is very peaceful, quiet, and conveniently located near great restaurants and shops. The grounds and maintenance are impeccable, and if anything needs repair, it is fixed quickly. I loved the pool, and how it was well taken care of, even in the off season.But I saved the best part for last. I had finished RN school in late 2019, and due to my family being from out of state, holidays, etc I really did not have much of a celebration. Well the staff at Boardwalk threw me a mini-party. It still brings tears of gratitude when I think how they would go out of their way to make residents feel appreciated! I will never forget their kindness!

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Ive lived here almost 1 year and could not be happier! From the very beginning, I was greeted by super friendly, professional and knowledgable leasing agents Salaie & Tara. A few months later Ray joined BOR & the dream team was born. Throughout the year Ive had only a couple maintence issues. Maintence guys Heider & Clarence fix whatever the problem is in record time. (Sometimes within an hour or so!) The property is kept up daily and feels comfortable and safe. (We share a fence with a police station next door) The pool is always a year long hit. The leasing office is buzzing with events and the gym is clean & easy to access 24/7. You cant find a more convenient location to access NW SATX and beyond. Great restaurants & retail stores are a stones throw away. I have made friends with many people and often spend time at the hidden dog park on site. BOR has a repeat customer- I will definitely be signing another 15 mo lease! Thanks for all you do, staff & friends! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    I have lived at Boardwalk research since November of 2021. I’ve had a phenomenal experience all around. My unit has had no major issues arise and anytime I put a work order in to get vents changed or my sink looked at, i have response and solutions before the end of the working day. The whole entire front office staff has been nothing but kind and helpful every time i stop by. They always make me feel welcome and more than just a resident at the complex. They go above and beyond in service and just make my time and experiences beyond any other. The amenities are awesome and access to a 24/7 fitness center goes a long way with my schedule so it is nice to have a complex that is considerate of the little things. 11/10 recommend.

    We recently moved here to Boardwalk, and it has been really great! Emily helped us out right away when we came to look for an apartment, and she even checked in on us to make sure our move was going okay and to answer any questions. The staff is so friendly, and truly care about the residents living here. I also was so impressed, as the moment we put in a service request it was answered immediately! Fabian was great, and took the time to make sure our appliances were all set up properly. Very happy with our decision to move here, and thankful for the Boardwalk Team!

    After a horrible experience at another apartment complex in the area, I looked into Boardwalk Research and am so glad I did! I was lucky enough to stop by the office when Tera was working, and she promptly, professionally, and so kindly helped me find a new home at BR. Tera listened to and attentively addressed my needs and has assured everything before, during, and since my move-in has run smoothly. Amenities and maintenance are great, neighbors are kind and I have not any problems with noise, and the the amount of natural light in the units is the best. I highly recommend this complex to anyone looking for a place in the area!

    When I was looking for a place to live from Chicago, I called and was greeted on the phone by Salaie who is a great person! Her personality sealed the decision. The “ladies” Salaie, Tara, and D are always amazing! They were very quick to respond with maintenance, the pool was a lot of fun! I loved living here! I would highly recommend this place to anyone! Quiet and neighbors were super friendly! I would have stayed if it was closer to work. I will definitely miss this place!

    I had the most pleasant experience while living here. The management team is AMAZING! Not only are they all so kind and caring and fun, they are super responsive if there are any issues. I have never felt so safe and secure at an apartment complex, the police department was right on the other side of my fence. We had a private fenced in yard which was perfect for our dog and a nice shaded spot to hang out. The other residents were really nice too and I made a couple lifelong friends:)I recommend this place to all of my friends and to anyone trying to decide on a new place to live. The apartments are super nice and spacious and as I mentioned before, you will never find a better management team. I miss living there but had to downsize due to multiple unforeseen medical issues.Thank you again to all of the staff!!! Y’all really make a difference and we appreciate all you do!

    Best Apartments in San Antonio!It breaks my heart knowing I wont be leasing since I need a 3 bedroom apartment, but I would lease here in a heart beat. Management is friendly and attentive, the best customer service I have ever experienced as far as apartments go. Maintenance is great as well! They may take 1-2 day to get to your problem, but they get it done. Never had an issue with noise, neighbors, maintenance or management. Oh, and I forgot to mention how much management cares to have a knitted community by hosting events and bring food trucks. I honestly feel comfortable and worry free at this apartment complex knowing they have our backs. Feels like family! Highly recommend wont disappoint!

    This was my first apartment in San Antonio and it was a nice experience. It’s pretty much near everything. Very family oriented and quiet.The gates are always closed. Amenities are luxury style, and nice. Management and maintenance is fast with getting back with problems regarding the apartment. Pool, gym, Amazon lockers are easy and nice to use, everything requires a key or a code so random people could not enter. Parking is not hard to find..the dog park was a bland, just trees and space but they’re many other places outside and near the complex to take your dog.

    Have lived here for almost 2 years now. Love the place! The apartments have hardwood floors even on upper levels and you cannot hear your neighbors. The front office staff is always friendly and helpful. Salaie and Emily know me by name and always have a smile to brighten my day. They are always personable and eager to help in any way they can. Truly a phenomenal staff. The maintenance staff are kind and quick; often fixing issues the same day I request maintenance. Highly recommend the complex; the apartments are great and the staff here is amazing.

    I have lived here for 15 months and I have to say overall it has been a good experience. Its a good location, with everything easily accessible, however, it is a super busy area.Pros:-Affordable-Apartments are nice-Most buildings have tons of parking-Some units have an attached private yard-Gym is decent for a nice workout-Amazon lockers-Maintenance responds quickly-Staff is great overall, Emily and Salaie-RecyclingCons:-Not the complexs fault but people are really bad at cleaning up after their dog - CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOG, NO EXCUSES-Super busy and congested area of SA, again not the complexs fault-Not a ton of garages available for all the units-Walls are thin so you do hear your neighbors really easilyAlso, shoutout to Sabian in Maintenance, he is great. Super friendly, straight to the point and was very efficient.

    My fiancé and I just completed our lease at Boardwalk Research, and it was a wonderful experience! The ladies that work here are nothing short of amazing and always incredibly helpful. We moved in when the complex was relatively new, and there were a few maintenance issues that popped up as you would expect, but both the maintenance staff and management were incredibly prompt and addressed the issues in the friendliest ways. Everyone was so accommodating and made our stay feel very welcoming and home-y. Great property with the best people!

    We are incredibly impressed with the level of service received from the staff here! They are very responsive and go out of their way to ensure any concerns are taken care of immediately, and we are quite particular! They really made us feel welcome. The apartment has a perfect layout and had everything we needed. We had a 2 bedroom on the 4th floor and it was bright and has a private area for visitors. The location makes it really easy to get around to all parts of the city. Safe with the police station nearby. VERY quiet, never heard a sound from anyone! Great shopping and Costco minutes away. Would highly recommend. Cant say enough about the administrative staff!

    My partner and I are new tenants at Boardwalk at Research and I have to say that signing here has been the most incredible experience thanks to the team here, particularly Tera Murphy. We probably visited and spoke with 15 different complexes before we stumbled across Boardwalk and the difference in knowledge and hospitality was almost immeasurable. Tera was beyond helpful and so kind in what felt like an impossible apartment hunt. We are grateful to be a part of this community!

    My wife and I have recently moved into the Boardwalk Research apartments, and we have nothing but great things to say about the staff, apartment, location and move in process. Weve worked exclusively with Emily so far and she has been nothing short of phenomenal and accommodating. Weve already had submit a few maintenance requests, and those were taken care of quickly on the same day. All in all, we have had such a wonderful experience so far and are so happy that we decided to move here.

    I moved to San Antonio last year and I have been living in Boardwalk Research for almost 6 months now and i must say this is an amazing property to stay. If there are more than 5 stars this place deserves it.I have seen many properties around this area and as soon as i saw Boardwalk Research i signed the lease with them. The apartments are well designed for maximize living area and also for maximum natural lighting which is something i absolutely love.Emily and Jacqueline from the leasing office are amazing, very respectful, fun and make every resident feel like they are home. They take care of any issue or any need you may have during your stay.Maintenance is really quick if there is an issue. Tim does a great job in taking care of any maintenance issues.The property is very well maintained, has a great pool, multiple Bar-B-Q pits in different locations within the property for easy access and, very well equipped Gym and the most amazing amenity is car wash and free vacuum area for the residents... thats right if you love your cars, like to take care of it and keep it clean and not spend crazy dollars on car washes, this property has a pressure wash area and vacuum for free :). Another amenity i really enjoyed is the fire pit right next to the BBQ pit next to building 2 (especially during winters this is great).I unfortunately have to move because of my job but would stay here and recommend this property to make it your next home.I am going to miss this place and also my good friends Emily and Jacqueline.

    It is always tough looking at apartment reviews as the experiences can be highly variable. However I wouldnt say that is the case with BWR.Compared to my last apartment, this place is literally every bit as good as the reviews indicate. It is safely located (it seems there is a police station next door, for what thats worth), has FUNCTIONING gated entry, and I cannot stress how good the apartment experience itself has been.The staff is highly diligent and professional (shout out to Fabian!), and their online portal is extremely robust, allowing you pay your rent and log service requests online. The systems are always up to date and the community managers actively post on there. They dont mess around here.

    My one year anniversary of living here is quickly coming up, and I can easily say this is one of the best apartment complexes Ive ever had the pleasure of living at. The best part is easily the staff; whenever I need any help Emily is always there to make sure I am well taken care of! She is prompt, efficient, and makes me feel like a neighbor and not just another number in the system. Its not just her, Salaie is also there to catch up and ask how me and my husband are doing. Having management like them always gives me confidence that we are being well taken care of and our best interests are put first. Maintenance is never an issue; they have always come to my apartment within 24 hours of a request being made. If youre looking for a community that treats residents as true neighbors and not just another customer, this is absolutely the place to go.

    Fabian in the maintenance team is awesome! He was Very sweet, fast, efficient and gave me knowledge about my work order! I truly have to say this is my favorite apartment complex in San Antonio!! This property is always beautifully clean and kept up to the highest standards. Maintenance is amazing and fast, very respectful and thorough! The actual floor plans are nothing short of perfect for the price! My fiancé and I have lived here for two years and have only the best to say about Boardwalk Research! Despite many apartments that say luxury, Boardwalk Research actually makes you feel that you live in a luxury apartment complex! One of our favorite parts of the community are the gas grills located all over the complex along with a fire pit! Besides the amenities, their best quality is the management. Salaie has been here since the beginning with us and has ALWAYS gone out of her way to make sure we have everything we need! Shes so kind and friendly, she really makes you feel like you are in a family atmosphere when you walk in to the office. Everyone, including Jacklyn (another sweet favorite!) always has a smile on and great, positive energy! If you want to move somewhere and feel like you are home, this is the place!

    Boardwalk Research is THE BEST apartment complex I have ever had the pleasure of living in. The management staff and leasing agents are so great to interact with and attentive. The maintenance staff keeps the grounds and apartments beautiful, clean, and functioning. One time my pantry shelf holders collapsed because of the weight I put on the top shelf. Maintenance not only gave me the plastic pieces that hold the shelves up but went a step further and installed metal hardware so ensure it would never happen again. I cant say enough about this complex and its staff. Thank you!!

    We have been living at Boardwalk Research for almost a year and just renewed for a bigger apartment—this place is amazing!!!Location is great, apartments are quality and spacious, and the community overall is so comfortable and welcoming.The best part of Boardwalk, though, is the wonderful staff!     Absolutely wonderful experience here. Came in on a personal *secret shop* with a friend and every member of the staff was superb. The Property Manager Omar was a pleasure and really took the time to explain and connect with us as potential residents. Their facilities are state of the art and the location is fabulous. Such a wonderful experience that as an industry professional i highly considered living here! I would reccomend this community to anyone who is interested in luxury living!     First off, this review is specifically for Emily and the awesome maintenance team which includes Carlos, Juanito, and Tim. Due to conflicts in moving schedules they were able to fix up the apartment from previous tenants and make available the unit 3 days before the actual available date to move in. So far, Ive enjoyed staying here. The apartment is very spacious and has tons of natural light. Looking forward to continue living here and will update further in the future.

    I just signed a lease here, and though I havent moved in yet, I am excited to. I picked this apartment complex because it had the most positive community feel of anywhere I looked. It seemed to be home to an abundance of young professionals, which is exactly what I was looking for. The complex itself is clean, gated and safe feeling, and the amenities are awesome. Also, the staff was super friendly from the moment we walked in, which made for a great first impression.

    Great apartments with beautiful kitchens and the staff is absolutely fantastic! They really make an effort to get to know the residents and to help with whatever they can. The maintenance team is also wonderful and are very quick to fix any issues that may occur.

    Starting my third year living here. These are the best apartments I have lived in so far. Problems from maintenance to noisy neighbors are handled within a short period of time. The online portal to submit maintenance request is very user-friendly. Recently, I placed a request in and the next day a maintenance worker came by, Fabian, and handled my request quickly and efficiently. Thank you, Fabian!

    We moved to SA in 2019, this is the only apartment that we have lived in and we love this property. It is gated, safe and have private security driving thru the property. Management is very helpful, maintenance is very professional and if there is a issue they handle it in a very timely manner. Cant say enough about this property:)

    I can not complain boardwalk research has been so far the best for my family and me. I am thankful for the staff and maintenance they are so kind and really care.     My husband and I have really enjoyed living here for the past 2.5 years. Theres many great things about this apartment complex, but here are a few recent things Ive experienced.-Their response to the COVID pandemic has been outstanding and I can tell they are taking our health seriously and taking all guidelines into consideration.-Our maintenance requests are always resolved quickly, even during this pandemic.-When I had a package mishap with the parcel locker, Emily did all she could to help me track it down.-And most recently, when some equipment went missing from the fitness center, Omar replaced it within a few days. I know this seems insignificant, but the fact he cared enough about one relatively small complaint proves how much the leasing staff care about making everyones experience a great one.

    The staff here is absolutely the best Ive ever interacted with. Very friendly and helpful staff. The property is relatively new. Close to USAA Headquarters, elevators in selected buildings, well equipped gym, infinity pool, secured access, more than everything a varied crowd of multi ethnicity and culture makes this community one of the best apartments of San Antonio.     One of my biggest deciding factors before moving into boardwalk were staff and maintenance. Well I now live here at the boardwalk @research the leasing agents are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The maintenance staff keep ups with the property and are quick to respond to any of my maintenance request. The management are knowledgeable approachable and friendly. Making it feel right at home for me and my daughters.

    Lived here for 1.5 years now, and finally decided to write a review:Pros:- Modern style décor. Ive received a lot of compliments on the appearance of the apartment.- Nice amenities. The gym, pool, car wash, etc. are all very nice- Maintenance is pretty quick about fixing things- Having your own yard is a pretty sweet deal if you can nab one- Parking is decent for the most part- Apartment staff are friendly- Community events are held regularly- Quieter community -- lots of families here- Walking distance to Magnolia!Cons:- Construction is shoddy at best. The apartment complex opened later than scheduled, and you can tell. For example, almost all of my drawer/cabinet handles are visibly crooked. Even the granite countertops are not well attached- Valet trash is mandatory (~$35 a month), and only gets picked up on weekdays. That means all of your weekend garbage either stays in your apartment, or you walk to the dumpster. In addition, the complex issues fines you if you leave your trash can outside all day, so dont bring a trash can if you move here otherwise youll have two.- Dog park is pretty small, and not well-kept- The office hours are pretty much during normal work hours, so good luck trying to get a package if you work 8-6. Theyre not open on Sundays either- Pray that your A/C works. Ive heard of others with A/C problems, and it took about a year (12 months!) of constant outages with mine until they agreed to replace the whole unit- The ceilings must be half an inch thick, because I can hear every step above me (including the dog)

    I have been living at Boardwalk Research for a little over 6 months now. This is, by far, the best apartment complex I have lived in. The staff is so kind, greets me happily every time I am in the office, remember me by name which I have never experienced before. In the past, I have been nervous going into the office because some office staff have been rude or aggressive. These women are wonderful and friendly.

The customer service is amazing the office staff goes above and beyond to help you. I love the interior of my apartment its super modern and I love the wood floors.     I absolutely love living at the Boardwalk Research the units are well laid out, the granite countertops finishes are great, and the stone-wood flooring gives your apartment a great upscale look. The amenities... WOW! The Pool is fantastic, the grills are great, and the gym is the most LEGIT Ive ever seen at an apartment complex! ( they even have Virtual spin classes and Yoga) The complex is super quiet. I relocated from Boardwalk Med-Center and the Management Staff and Maintenance crew are just as good here as they were there. They really do care and do all that they can to accommodate you if you are ever in the need of anything. FIVE STARS and a Jalepeno ! :)

    Ive lived here since they opened last summer and to be honest yes it does have its flaws and things do go wrong, but thats going to happen at every brand new apartment or home. They recently got a new office manager and she is doing an awesome job at getting the right people to correct any issue that comes up so that they dont happen again. The amenities, stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops, and hard wood floors are beautiful! I enjoy living here!

    I am a particularly meticulous person when it comes to looking for an apartment. I visited about 9 different apartment complexes in the medical center area. The most important thing to me is finding high quality management staff, and Research absolutely has that. Everyone there knows me by name and excitedly greets me like a neighbor, not a customer. They are incredibly responsive to any issues I brought up to them and were always available to help and answer questions. Beyond that, the amenities are well taken care of and very useful! I have nothing but good things to say about this group and I would highly recommend them for anyone to call home.

    Awesome community! Fell in love with the place when I signed. They continually called us updating us on amazing look and lease deals and me and my girlfriend just couldnt say no. The designer kitchen nearly sold me on the apartment alone. The cheerful girls at the front desk were awesome about actually HELPING us get into an apartment that fit our lifestyle. If you havent found the perfect apartment, seriously, dont settle. come look at this place. Between the scenery, the friendly staff and the quality, Boardwalk at research is worth it. cant say when ill be moving out of this place, if at all.

    I have to say that living here for this time frame has been not only amazing but a very great experience! The staff and in staff I mean everyone! Managers, leasing and maintenance have always gone above and beyond for us and any of our guests! We have never had an issue with anything! Moving here will be a choice! We love all the things that the complex has to offer! Who doesnt like Margarita nights during Fiesta week a car wash and a tanning booth? LOVE IT HERE!

    By the end of the lease, I would have lived here for 2 years. As the first tenants of this brand new apartment, Id like to point out that management will not always know the issues that arise until the units are occupied. In the first year, we had some issues with the apartment AC and patio door leaking (after rainfall). These issues were brought to the managements attention and was taken care of promptly. When our AC went out, maintenance brought in a portable AC unit to accommodate the 100-degree heat until it could be resolved. Any problems that came up were taken care of in a timely fashion.The apartment complex tries to build a community through resident social gatherings with bi-weekly happy hours and food trucks. The amenities are great. They have a great pool, gym, and we really enjoy the convenience of the bbq grills placed throughout the apartment and the open fire pit (propane) for smores!The apartment is very modern with brand new appliances including a farm sink (love). It includes a washer/dryer which has been super convenient.Depending on your apartment building, parking may or may not be an issue. Theres usually plenty of parking spots unless you come home very late.The best thing about this community is by far the professional and attentiveness of the front office. Leylah, Solei, and Jacqueline are wonderful and go out of their way to make sure every single tenant is taken care of. They brighten my day after work. You cant really expect a complex to be perfect, but it is the way that management responds to these issues that is perfect. We have enjoyed living here and I only hope my next management will be half as good as this team!P.S I have never written a review in my life, but truly feel that the front office deserves this recognition.     Not enough positive things can be said about Boardwalk Research to truly do them justice. Whether it be a maintenance issue, general question, or concern I’m always completely satisfied with the resolution quality. Since the first day the property opened I’ve been greeted with top tier service. One person in particular, Salaie Ruiz, has been an advocate, amazing help, and has tons of empathy in understanding my situation. No matter my issue/concern, she has gone above and beyond to make sure I’m happy with Boardwalk Research.     I have lived here since it opened and yes have had issues just like other reviewers. However, the staff has been so helpful getting these issues fixed and completed. I would go to the front desk and explain the issues and within an hour, I would have the appropriate repair person fixing the issue. It is a new complex so issues will arise and that is to be expected; however, compared to other apartments I have lived at, the staffs attention to its residents is above all.Aside from that, the amenities that are featured in this community you will not get at another complex for the price. Not many apartments offer wood flooring everywhere, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, huge farm sinks, a nice fitness center, fire pits, outdoor kitchens, a modern pool, and even have a car wash station. You will not find this in other apartments and if you do, you will have to pay a significant amount more on rent.If you are looking for the best value when it comes to amenities, location and friendly staff, look no further. This is the apartment for you.

    I have lived here for about a month now, and the experience has been pretty great, so far! The office staff is very responsive to any questions or concerns. Initially, my refrigerator was freezing everything inside of it and maintenance promptly did everything they could figure out what was wrong. Although they couldnt fix the freezing issue - they immediately ordered me a brand new fridge and replaced the giant freezer that I had.

    Well i usually dont give reviews but after reading the negative ones here felt like sharing my experience. Living at Boardwalk at Research has been one of the memorable stays for me as far as apartment living is concerned. Theres no doubt that issues do come up and you will never have a hassle free stay but the best part @ boardwalk at research has been the staff. Ive lived in apartments in various states for over 7 yrs now and can say that the guys over here are doing an amazing job. I specially want to mention the Manager Leylah and Salaie . There were issues in my stay as well but they worked on those so that i had the least inconvenience. At times they even went out of the way -- i say so because had it been other apartments the staff there wouldnt have even cared about- to help me. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The apartment location is just perfect near to everything. Sadly had to move out but would surely rent again if am back in the town.

Seriously, visit this establishment.Bad stuff: people drive fast within the complex, speed limits should be posted and enforced. The trash valet service is mandatory, we dont prefer to use it even though we pay for it.

    I have moved in a month and a half ago from Missouri Ohio Florida California Dallas Texas Oregon, nevada and Washington State.. the two bedrooms are so quiet and comfy.. easy cleaning.. The Farmhouse Sinks are great and so much more.. the gym is a really good size and it has a lot of equipment the pool is mostly clean.. most of the people here that are younger are going to college a UTSA or UT Health and Sciences.. once a month there is massive Gathering that brings everybody together.. the gates are never broken. Coming from Missouri I felt not safe.. here at Boardwalk research it is very safe and you can go out at night and not worry about anything.. trash is picked up at your door and if not just take it to the big dumpster and by Monday all the trash is cleaned up in their demolisher.. the walk-in showers are really nice and clean.. yes some apartments have their problems with soaking wet floors because so many people are moving in at one time before college starts in before work starts.. parking is tough but thats what you had to deal with an apartment complex unless you pay $45 a month for an overhead parking.. everyone now picks up their dog excrement.. the construction is going on behind all the complex next to the big Pancake House and you can barely hear the construction.. Golds Gym is one minute away for 5 minutes in walking.. the gym is really awesome with the spin Cycles in its own room.. coffee is always ready in the morning but there no milk so make sure to do coffee.. the two bedroom apartments are purely updated as well as the one bedroom.. the kitchens are massive. If you get the right spot you can keep your windows open at night and hear the water from the pool as you fall asleep.. I hope to be here for a long time and HEB is right up the street.. gas station is across the street.. theres a car wash and vacuum cleaner on site easy to use. The tanning salon is great i hear. I just wish more people were open and open-minded here.. 4 minutes from I-10.

    We just got a new manager and she is doing what she can to fix the problems that were left over from korinda. I know it takes time to fix things and if the residents were a little more responsible for their pets maybe the staff wouldnt get blamed for stupid residents. I believe that putting the blame where it belongs. Also as to noise if these Apts had been built better than people would not have to complain about it. The staff is not to blame for construction issues. So be thoughtful when you leave review and make sure that the people you are blaming are the ones that are to blame. I think that the 2 people in the office that have done their best and tried to take care of problems are Layla and Salae so far they seem to care the most.

    The staff is awesome! Great amenities, like the tanning rooms, and the nice features within the apartment itself like the spacious kitchen. This is a very nice community and I would recommend it to anyone.

    I love this place and the Office girls and guys are awesome! I had issues with dog poop all over the place, but they are doing everything in their hands to fix this problem. I love happy hour Fridays and the fire pit is the best part of living here.

    In a time when customer service is hard to find Laylah and her staff are a breath of fresh air they take care of me and my family like we are the most important people in the world!!!     This is an awesome place to live. Its clean, quiet and fancy. Weve looked around and its hard to find a place that has it all. In-unit laundry, hardwood floors and an elevator on each building are hard things to find, but this place has them all.

    One of the good apartment complex near USAA. Gated community and hence Safe and secure to a greater extend. The office staff is extremely helpful. The rent has gone up pretty high recently. Have to really think if its value for the money being payed. The adavantage is the location which is near to highway and also Great Hearts forest height school. The schoolnis walkabale distance from the apartment. Thete is no childrens play area. There is only a Dog park. Would be great if they could add a childrens play area as well. Also there is a lack of greenary as there is no much places they are maintaing lawn in common areaa. The floor plans are good and maintence staff are attentive as well. Maintenance requests are taken up pretty promptly.
