Michelle has been such a great help with my Financial questions, Victoria was my leasing agent Who is now helping me find my bff a apt home here at 422, and the property manager, Jaqueline has been a tremendous help with my movers. I recently toured apartment 442 at The Lake in Austin, and my fiancé and I are seriously considering moving here! The location is absolutely perfect – close to everything we need, with stunning views and a peaceful vibe. The amenities are top-notch, with everything we could ever need. What really stood out to us, though, was the staff. Michelle was incredibly friendly, professional, and made the whole experience feel seamless. She answered all our questions and gave us a great overview of the community. We are definitely excited about the possibility of making this our new home!

I have been in touch with the team at this facility while touring this complex and they been have amazing and so helpful. Since the minute (literally!) that I stepped inside, Victoria has been so warm, welcoming, friendly, and approachable. She is wonderful and showed me all around the community day 1. She has been incredibly responsive, kind, and upbeat - she makes me SO excited to move in! I also had the pleasure of meeting Jacqueline, who was so caring, kind, and spent an immense amount of time to help me find exactly what I was looking for within my budget, listened to any and all concerns/questions I had, and Michelle who was so fantastic, helpful, and helped me envision my new place. I am super excited to get further connected with this team!!

Love the location! Very convenient between downtown and South Congress lifestyle but the staff is special, My dog loves stopping by the office to say hello, get a head scratch and treat. Michelle and the office staff are exceptional at making my dog and I feel at home.

I recently moved to Austin and have been really enjoying my experience at 422 at the Lake. The proximity to the lake is fantastic, and the community here, led by the wonderful community managers, is great. During a recent trip away, I asked Lisa to bring some packages in, and she kindly obliged, which I greatly appreciated. The staff have also been very helpful with a couple of maintenance items. Overall, the location is excellent, and I highly recommend 422 at the Lake to anyone considering a move to Austin.

Jacqueline and the rest of the staff here are super nice. Move-in was easy and the amenities and location here are great. Love that they have rental cars on site for residents only, and the location can’t be beat to experience the heart of Austin.

I have lived at 422 overall since 2019 and two things I can confidently confirm is that the location, and the on-site team cannot be beat.They not only know every residents name, but our dogs names. There is a level of community here that is unmatched. I cross 1 sidewalk to get to the biggest trail in Austin, and 1 bridge to get to the ultimate nightlife scene. It can’t be beat. Maintenance requests are completed almost same day, worse case scenario the very next day.Regardless of the normal maintenance issues that arise in every building in this city, we are lucky to have only a few flights to gripe about. I have lived in 20-30 story buildings that have fancier offerings on paper, but do not make me feel at home like 422 does. Again, the location and team is unmatched. I just renewed for my FIFTH year and have no plans of leaving anytime soon.

The front desk team/maintenance team are amazing and always there for me when I need assistance. I have lived at many apartment complexes and the customer service at 422 is a big reason why I signed another 13 month lease. Always look forward to their monthly events that has resulted in good memories and meeting some of my closest friends in Austin. Hopefully we can get the elevators fixed

I have lived at 422 for years & its by far my favorite location and building throughout my 10+ years in Austin. Its a bit smaller than the most other buildings so it feels more cozy, and you cannot beat the park next door. It feels like I have a huge backyard with occasional free shows to watch from my balcony. The office team is super personable and handle any issues that pop up so quick, which is not always the case especially in Downtown Austin. I plant to live here as long as possible and really appreciate Lisa, Lexie, & Jackie for all they do!

I lived here for two years with my partner and our pets and we had the BEST experience at 422. You can’t beat this location with its proximity to downtown, the river, parks, S Congress, etc. Also, the management & maintenance team is literally award winning for excellence within Greystar. The team was always so nice, responsive and accommodating- we miss them! And all of the tenants we met in the building were very friendly and fun. Great community!

The leasing staff is super responsive and friendly, maintenance is reliable, and the location can’t be beat. I’d just say be cautious of which unit you choose and try to get a unit that doesn’t face Riverside because the bus stop is extremely noisy.

I moved into my apartment a few weeks ago. From first contact to set up a tour through the application process and move-in the staff were and still are phenomenal. I have had great experiences especially with Morgan and Emilia. They are quick to respond when I contact them and are always friendly and helpful. The apartment unit was nice and clean when I moved in. One light bulb was out and the refrigerator water filter needed to be replaced. I submitted a service request online around midnight, an employee came and replaced both things in the mid-afternoon the next day - so easy and prompt! The property is clean and the staff have been great about keeping residents up-to-date about current building renovations (exterior is being painted), new protocols during COVID, amenities updates, property repairs, etc. Great location, great views. No complaints and I am loving living here so far!

I so pleased the call this apartment complex home, we have seen a lot of stuff changes but the this present team are just fantastic. They have fostered a environment that has a great Family feel they are very personable, always welcoming and a joy to work with. I would go so far as to say they are the best office team we have had since I have lived here. So a big thank to them for all that they do each day..Thanks Abel for your quick attention to fixing our kitchen light. Abel was busy working on a different task when I told him my kitchen light was out, he had a bulb on hand and quickly replaced it on the spot. I really appreciate that he save me time, also a really nice guy.

My boyfriend and I moved in over a year ago, just after the management changed and the current staff is amazing! Manager Monica went above and beyond when helping us adjust our lease to a month-to-month. She made accommodations that were the mark of excellent customer service. Levi, the entire office staff, and maintenance crew are friendly and attentive--helping us with random things like when we dropped our keys down the elevator shaft (oops!).Would highly recommend this place to a friend.For those shopping around for a new apt, take the reviews from before Feb 2017 with a grain of salt because that was an entirely different management team.

I just moved in! Overall pretty good. The leasing person Emilia is amazing. The apartment is nice. Good space and floor plans. Where im at in the building construction hasnt affected me but I have read on the resident portal that it gets kinda crazy. Ive never had an issue with parking. Luckily between two elevators so I can park by either. The office is extremely responsive and always able to help. Hoping this stays as 5 stars but ill keep you posted if it changes. My lease is for 14 months haha

Ive had nothing but great experiences here. The staffs kindness made the move as easy as possible while also providing fun events that got me acquainted with the community. Minutes from downtown, the park directly across the street, and kayak/paddle board rentals within walking distance make it a stellar location for any kind of life style. Would highly recommend for anyone, whether youre just moving to Austin or have been here for years and are looking for a refreshing atmosphere with a great view.

422 at the lake has been our home for over a year now and in my opinion is the best location in downtown Austin. Only a few feet awake from lady bird lake and the 10 mile hike and bike trail, it lets you experience Austin to its fullest. The best part though, is the incredible staff! I have seriously never met a nicer management team (Taryn, Amelia and Morgan) in my history of renting. They respond to any issue ASAP and continually host fun events for the building and provide fun snacks for everyone on a regular occasion. Chip from the maintenance team is incredible, never have an issue with finding a spot in the parking garage, plus the building is super pet friendly. If you are looking for an all around great living experience I would highly recommend checking this place out. :)

As a resident of 422, I would like to note that I have read the negative reviews here and advise you take them with a grain of salt. Why? People who have a bad experience love to drop poor reviews on restaurants, properties, etc. moreso than people who have a great experience. Even I had a slip up that ended up being a glitch with their email, but everything got resolved for me in a timely manner; things happen.I moved here for a new job and have loved living here so far. Overall, it’s a very good set up. Being so close to downtown, without being in downtown makes the location ideal. Sure the elevators could be a little faster, and there’s a shortage of guest parking spots, but I feel grateful for everything else 422 has to offer and I don’t have a problem having to wait an extra 5 seconds for an elevator or having a friend park on the street...Monica and Levi have provided superb customer service to me and I feel confident if I ever have an issue or question, they will help as expected. The rooftop view, pool, grilling areas, gym, and other amenities have all been up to par or exceeded my expectations. I believe management have taken or will take action on any issues listed by others here, and if you are thinking of moving here, welcome; it’s not bad!

We love 422! Not only is the location absolutely amazing , but the facilities are lovely and incredibly well kept and clean, and the entire staff is fantastic. It really feels like home, and everyone from the front office staff to the whole facilities team always does their absolute best to make you feel comfortable and happy. We are always kept up to date on important information in the community and the city. Especially during this past year (and past week during winter storm Uri), we got consistent updates on exactly what was happening, and what we needed to do to stay safe and help our neighbors, often times faster than we could find out on our own. We can trust that if we need to know something, 422 will make sure we have the information, and will be going above and beyond to make sure were okay. I have never felt so safe and so welcome in a community, and I cant imagine calling anywhere else home!

Lived at 422 since they opened (2016). Great location, amenities, and office staff! Chelsea and Levi in the front office were always so helpful, as was anyone who always (promptly) helped with any routine maintenance requests I had. I loved my experience here. :)The interiors have some of the most beautiful finishing touches Ive had to date in an apartment, and neighbors were always friendly. Overall, 5 stars!

I just wanted to thank our amazing Management Team here - for so many things, but especially with recent events! I have to say this is the best experience my fiancé and I have ever had in a community like this. Thank you for keeping us informed and working so hard to be transparent and attentive - I wouldn’t hesitate to assume anyone who’s lived in an apartment almost always has a horror story or two, and more often than not, were unsatisfied with Management and Property Staff. We ACTUALLY feel happy here and truly love this place above any other we’ve lived in after making Austin our home for more than a decade now. Thank you for setting best standards and remaining so communicative throughout one of the most chaotic times we’re all currently living through. We are all VERY lucky to be in such a wonderful place with first world problems that can always be mitigated. You guys are the bees knees!

The rooms are nice, the amenities are great, and the staff/maintenance are very friendly and helpful. Able the maintenance man noticed my door lock batteries were low and replaced them before I got locked out.

Stayed here for the last 6 months. It is a great community to stay in. Excellent location!!!!! Decent apartments for the price. Good extras like gym, pool, bbq, table tennis, rooftop view, etc.The management is always friendly and helpful. Before this I stayed in my own home (with no rules), so moving to an apt was an adjustment for me, but I generally think the rules are there to make harmony better for all.The one or two times there has been issues I have been helped in a reasonable time.Its not the Ritz, but you dont pay for the Ritz. Good value for money.I am fairly certain in 6 months time well renew our lease.

As an apartment locator, I tour communities all day and I am honestly not easily impressed. However, my most recent visit with a client to 422 at the Lake warrants a 5+ star review. Morgan, the community manager, toured us for hours, ensuring my client got to see all of her options and never rushed her through her decision. And by the end, she felt incredibly at home. Morgans passion for her community and her residents is evident. She takes pride in her work and it shows in how well kept the property is and how many changes she has implemented to make it one of the best places to live in this city. These are beautiful units well in my price range. The new manager Morgan Helped my mom and I with the tour an answered every question we had to the best of her ability. 422 At The Lake looks like a great fit for me. It is in a beautiful area and it’s close enough to downtown where you don’t feel suffocated. There are many activities in restaurants to explore in the area. Many many many options. Every unit I saw I had a beautiful view. I can’t wait to learn more about the property!

Ive lived at 422 for about a year and a half and have loved it! I love the location & there is so much value for the price you pay. Cheaper than places that are right DT, but we have the benefit of the city view + the view of the park, all while still having the walk-ability to DT, South Congress, & even the East Side (if you are walkers like myself and my bf). I also love having the trail right outside our door - its perfect for anyone who is active & loves to be outdoors. We also have some great amenities here at 422 - a pretty great gym space, pool area, grills, and even a rooftop with fire pits! And even though we cant use them currently with social distancing rules, the management office has had food trucks, goodies sent to our doors, and other fun things to make up for the amenities as best they can.

We are new to Austin and this is a wonderful facility. The apartment was spotless upon move in and the neighbors are welcoming and kind. All appliances are top notch, granite counters and wood floors. The 422 team responds in exceptional fashion. No question has gone unanswered which is greatly appreciated. If you are looking for a spot in downtown Austin look no further.6 Month Update:Things keep getting better here! From food truck thursdays to breakfast taco tuesdays management always finds a way to show appreciation to their residents. It’s the little things that go a long way. They know you - and probably your dog too :) - by name as soon as you walk in the office. Always responsive and transparent! Keep it up 422 & staff!

I moved in about 5 months ago and had some struggles with my initial move, but my overall experience has been positive. I especially enjoy how personable the girls are in the office, the even had all about Bundt cakes in the office this week. I love how close the walking trail and park are for my dog.I see all these reviews and think people must be having a bad day. And everything that I see while I am here are mostly nice people with a handful of others that think if that they’ve got to be the squeaky wheel for something. Some of these are the same people that don’t pick up from their dog, or try to drive in and out of the garage on the wrong side and then make nothing but a commotion about it that the gates are not opening. Learn how to drive! That’s no one’s fault but yours. And no one is your maid; didn’t your momma teach you that? Overall it’s been pretty good here and I like it a lot but get the stupid people gone and it would be amazing!

422 at the Lake is a wonderful community. The management team is always helpful in trying to make life here an awesome experience. No place will be 100% perfect, but I feel close to it here. Recently, during the Covid-19 pandemic, I was stuck out of state and Taryn went completely above and beyond what I’d expect from the management team. She was able to really help me when so few could (or would). I will always be appreciative of her and the management team here. There’s a personal touch that’s difficult to find.

This review is for the outstanding maintenance staff. ABEL, TROY, and JOHNNY have helped me out before, and they are all fantastic. Not only are they very responsive and fix issues in a timely manner, they are also very courteous. They catered to my needs when I made a scheduling mistake, explained what was causing problems, and were very respectful of my time and home. These guys are top notch. I do not know what they are being paid, but THEY DESERVE A RAISE.Also, even though I do not have much experience working with the management team, they have always been very kind and helpful. Great location, nice amenities. Maintenance workers are great, but the situation with getting doors and elevators fixed is absolutely unacceptable for how much we pay in rent. Doors are not operating properly for months on end. Elevators down for over a year with no plans of fixing. Management has not properly addressed the issue with transparency.Bus stop on riverside is loud.
