Very large room with lots of space for my bed and desk, no issues with parking like other facilities, clean and safe common areas. Great location. Wristbands for tenants which keeps out the trouble. Close proximity to campus with option to use shuttle bus for campus transportation. Overall, no complaints.

Sylvia did an amazing job giving us a room tour. She was thorough and we got a quality tour, and she took a lot of time out of her day to give us the best service. We can’t wait to sign.

I moved my daughter into the woodlands this weekend. She used the apartment roommate matching service. At 5:30 the night before move in she was notified that a roommate had been assigned to her unit, a MALE roommate. We tried contacting the apartment that evening and during our drive up on move in day but we kept getting the answering service. We let them know that we had an urgent situation and gave them a brief description. No one called us back. This made for a very stressful drive up on move in day. A call back would have been nice. We talked to a manager upon arrival and they said they were going to reassign the roomate. All that being said...the apartment was in relatively good condition when we moved in. It was a little dirty but it looks like that was due to carpet installation. The kitchen appliances were very clean. My daughter and I figure that somebodys mother came down and cleaned when they moved out. This certainly wasnt cleaned by a cleaning service. She wound up putting in a work order for a good size hole in her ceiling and damaged flooring by the front door. There really wasnt any issue with the actual apartment. I was just concerned that noone called us back when we were trying to reach the office. This review will be updated as the semester progresses.UPDATEMy daughter moved out of these apartments in July. She liked living here. The landscaping needs a lot of work and parking became a bit more challenging when parking spots were sold. Like so many other reviews indicate, maintenance was a challenge. We didnt realize that some of the units are privately owned and the maintenance for those units is managed by a Home Owners Association. My daughter opened 2 maintenance request in August when she moved in. One was completed in January and the other was never completed and she was never contacted about it. The week before we moved out, the bushes were so over grown that we couldnt safely get down the stairs. My daughter opened a work order and went to the office to explain that it was hazardous and needed to be trimmed before she moved. She was told she would have to wait for the HOA to take care of it. When we returned the following week, we wound up having to trim the trees ourselves so we could safely move boxes down the stairs. (See pic). We were fortunate that we didnt have much need for maintenance.

Nice place to live & excellent location!!! I’ve seen a lot of positive changes with Management in recent years; they are very responsive. Nice that it’s on the bus route and walking distance to Andy’s, Starbucks, Chipotle, Whataburger and Wild Pita!

  • Review 5 (2022-10-28 - Rating: 5)

Apart from a few odd roommates and that whole global pandemic thing, my time in the Woodlands has been great. Its quieter than most of the big student complexes, with a lot of natural spaces. The amenities are well kept, and the maintenance staff are knowledgeable and quick to respond to problems. They also recently added on site security, which makes for fewer stupid people doing fewer stupid things: always a plus in BCS. ^_^

  • Review 6 (2023-08-24 - Rating: 5)

Had a few issues throughout the year that I lived there, but it wasnt anything that couldnt be fixed by just talking to them! Today I went in to discuss some charges that I didnt quite agree with and guess what! They fixed them! All it takes is just talking to them in person, theyre not out to get you and they are incredibly sweet if you treat them like people instead of machines! I had the pleasure of speaking with a lady named Sylvia who was absolutely the sweetest woman alive! She helped me and made sure everything was taken care of! If you have any issues email Mr. Calloway then go in person! All in all theyre very sweet and turned an incredibly stressful experience into a very pleasant one! I will hopefully be staying with them again next year!

  • Review 7 (2022-02-18 - Rating: 4)

Lots of negative reviews about bad management are from 2+ yrs ago. The woodlands got new management the year I moved in and I haven’t had any issues with them. Any minor issues I’ve had were resolved and the only major issue was from the winter storm last year. My apartment did get torn up, I was offered a different unit but I declined, and I was eventually reimbursed for 2 months of rent.Other than that, everything has gone pretty smooth, hopefully the clubhouse will be 24hrs soon!

  • Review 8 (2023-10-27 - Rating: 5)

Long story, but had an issue with one front office employee who was not helpful in resolving our concern. However, once I reached the Manager, Ben Calloway, he rapidly resolved the matter in a professional manner. His effective response, along with a third employee who was also friendly and responsive makes us confident in the managements willingness to resolve issues.

  • Review 9 (2022-12-13 - Rating: 5)

I love the Woodlands. Nice apartments with great rates, and the amenities and community areas are nice as well. My only complaint so far is that maintenance orders can take a while to be filled, but the front office people are always nice and a call to the office can usually get it expedited. Overall I would recommend the woodlands to anyone moving to College Station.

  • Review 10 (2022-07-05 - Rating: 4)

I’ve been living here for 5 years and it’s been great! Made lot of memories here:) floor plans rock and feels like I have the most space compared to other places in college station. Parking is great depending on which apartment you choose to live in, I recommend lots of guaranteed parking to prevent walking in the dark for a mile. The staff is friendly and does all they can with the poor management they have. Would be 5 stars and leave it at that, but unfortunately I’ve also had terrible experiences as well. Things here dont get fixed, I haven’t been able to workout at the clubhouse for 3 years (even though I’m paying for it) because they have not made keys for the residents, after 6 months of promising they would do it that week(still don’t have them). The pool has not been cleaned in months. It has been foggy and murky and I’ve found many clumps of hair stuck to me as well as bandaids and glass in my feet. Apartment parking lots and walkways aren’t sufficiently lit and I’ve been scared coming home some nights to large dark holes of no light. Overall I’ve loved my time here and will stay until I need to leave.

  • Review 11 (2012-06-20 - Rating: 5)

Overall, I have had a very positive experience living here. I did have problems with my stove smoking and making a burning smell at the beginning of the year, but I filed a maintenance report and had someone come and resolve it within a few days without problem. I really enjoy all of the amenities offered to residents. Since I don’t own a printer, being able to run by the clubhouse and print out assignments for free before class was really convenient and saved me a lot of time. Having an exercise room within walking distance has also been very convenient. I didn’t realize that using the A&M rec during the summer required you to be enrolled in classes, so having equipment here has managed to save me the money of a summer pass there as well as gas money driving to campus. We did receive a fine for cigarette butts that was really frustrating because none of my roommates smoke. But when we went and talked to the management they were very understanding and had the fine removed. There’s great closet space, nicely sized rooms, and frequent resident events with free food. You definitely get what you pay for. I resigned my lease for next year last November, and I’m happy to continue living here.

  • Review 12 (2022-06-17 - Rating: 5)

I absolutely LOVE the woodlands. Extremely nice units, wonderful location, and a beautiful complex. The woodlands always had fun events and did a great job getting everyone involved. I never had an issue with maintenance. The very few times I did need to call them it was fixed that day or the next. If you’re looking for a sense of community and involvement this is definitely the spot to live.

  • Review 13 (2020-01-04 - Rating: 5)

I love it here besides the noise issues. If your bedroom faces the road, I’m sorry. You hear all the cars drive by and people talking.Other than that I had a great experience here. Super friendly and helpful staff, maintenance was always here within a reasonable time.Prior to moving in I had an issue with the staff switching my apartment last minute. We got it corrected to the original apartment it just took them a little a while so moving in was more stressful.I did the roommate matching and I love my roommates! I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. If you do the roommate matching, please be honest on the questions they ask you. I’m very pleased with who I got roomed with and we are all friends now.I would love to renew my lease but I’m moving out of town. I like how they offer specials for the current residents for a renewal before they offer it to the public, it gives you time for secure your spot.Theres a few thing I wish they would change.1: repaint the white lines in the parking lot.2: add more speed bumps because people speed like crazy through the lot.3: be able to reserve or rent out a certain time in the study rooms. (Bc people would just sit in there to watch movies or talk when others want to study)That’s all my complaints but other than that it’s a super friendly and fun place to live. I would definitely recommend to others.

  • Review 14 (2020-09-28 - Rating: 4)

My experience here hasnt been to bad. I love how friendly and chill the staff is. There is kind of a bug issue but the people are on it. I would suggest taking a tour before you sign your lease because the pictures do not look like the actually apartments. Thankfully I still liked it when I moved. The rates are also really great, they give some pretty cool deals as well.

  • Review 15 (2018-08-01 - Rating: 5)

We had a very negative experience with the previous management regarding our move in date. We were supposed to receive our keys at 2pm but we arrived and they didnt even have a unit assigned to us. The new leasing manager, Sarah Gilbert, came out and met with us personally, explaining that a lot of the documentation from the previous management was still being looked through and apologized for the inconvenience. To remedy the situation, she personally took us through each available unit and did everything she could to accommodate our needs. We ended up with the perfect unit and are very happy with how easy its been! The apartment is in great condition and maintenance has been on top of every issue weve submitted. Great experience under new management! Highly recommend.

  • Review 16 (2016-12-07 - Rating: 4)

I have found their maintenance crew to be diligent; they will usually get to your request within the same day or the next day. Their staff is usually kind and helpful. Just know that their staff will not cater to you. When it comes to leasing they ran a our way or the highway kind of business. And sometimes it feels like pulling teeth if you need them to do something special. But overall a good experience so far. The apartments and grounds have been taken care of and are in good condition.

  • Review 17 (2016-02-23 - Rating: 5)

I have lived in the same apartment for the past two years and have absolutely loved it. I am very sad I wont be here again next year but with my roommates it didnt work out. The woodlands staff are all extremely friendly and anytime Ive needed something fixed or had a question about something they were always so eager to help me! It never took more than 24-48 hours for them to get to my apartment and fix whatever I needed fixed.

  • Review 18 (2018-10-04 - Rating: 5)

Living at the Woodlands these past few months has been absolutely amazing! The staff and maintenance have been so helpful and if I have an issue it is always handled quickly and with care. If you are wanting to know more about living here call and ask for Corbyn! She took me on my first tour of the property and has been so helpful in answering all of my questions!

  • Review 19 (2019-07-19 - Rating: 5)

Ive lived here for a Year and haven’t had any issues or if I did they were solved within 24 hours, the office staff is great!! New pool and amenities! Manny and Jon are the best office staff and really listen! 9/10 would recommend living here. Plus, a new Chick-fil-A is being built 100 yards from my door step, cant complain.

  • Review 20 (2014-10-16 - Rating: 5)

So Ive been living at the woodlands for a couple months now with my 3 roommates and everything has been great. Me and my buddy got matched with these two guys from Dallas and everything as worked out well except for them being cowboys fans. The clubhouse is huge and has really nice pool tables so we go up there for study breaks often. Their computers and printer come in clutch for doing assignments and save me from going all the way to the library. My bedroom is bigger than anywhere else I looked and its nice that everyone has their own bathroom. Overall it has been great, me and my roommates are actually looking to sign for next year because of the huge deals they have going on this semester. Also I cant wait for all the free stuff their giving us next week for resident appreciation week.

  • Review 21 (2017-04-03 - Rating: 5)

This will be my second year living at The Woodlands and we LOVE it! We had a little bit of a miscommunication while resigning our lease, and the property manager, Laney Pitman, took the time out of her day to meet with us and took care of us within minutes. The associates were always patient, knowledgeable, and kind, and were always willing to help. My roommates and I love living here, and for them to resign for the third year says a lot about the complex. We love The Woodlands and highly recommend living here!

  • Review 22 (2016-03-02 - Rating: 5)

I dont know why there are all these fuss about maintenance. I put in a work order for my tub and washer on Sunday and maintenance came to fix the tub on Monday and fix the washer on Tuesday. Thats 24-48 hours response since the request. To me thats pretty good response time considering there are a lot of units in this complex. Not only that, when I asked for other maintenance request they have been pretty quick to respond which is why I have a hard time understanding why so many people have issues with maintenance. The place is nice and have good amenities for a fair price and community is nice. I would recommend people looking for a nice place to live away from Texas Ave. traffic mess to live here.

  • Review 23 (2017-02-23 - Rating: 5)

I have lived here for two years and would be renewing if I wasnt graduating. The maintenance is excellent and solves and issues really quickly and efficiently and always is respectful of your space. The front desk is always really nice, especially Olivia Chamness she is so sweet and has been there forever so she is a real expert and very professional.

  • Review 24 (2017-04-03 - Rating: 5)

Absolutely love it here!!! The staff and maintenance are very helpful! Every time we came in with questions they were quick to help and always friendly! The property manager Laney Pitman was especially helpful when we had questions about our lease. College is super stressful so not having to worry about our living arrangements is a plus! This will be my third year resigning and I would recommend the Woodlands to everyone!!!

  • Review 25 (2020-07-09 - Rating: 4)

I lived here for 2 years and I had no issues. The apartment is on the Aggie spirit bus route, and there are two bus stops directly in front of the apartment complex entrance. The one across the street is the last stop before campus, so you hop on and go directly to A&M. There is also a shuttle that will pick u up in front of your building and drive u to the bus stop which is useful if it’s raining outside. I lived in a two bedroom townhome and it is by far the cheapest townhome floor plan u will find in college station. I loved how the bedrooms were upstairs and the living area was downstairs, because if my roommate stayed up late or had people over at night I couldn’t hear her from my upstairs room. Another plus is the newer H‑E‑B that is located less than 5 minutes from the apartment, by far the nicest H‑E‑B in the college station area. The apartments are nice, the amenities are nice, and the location is great. The only thing I will say is the staff give out a lot of misinformation because there were a few times where I was told multiple different things by multiple different people. I would definitely ask to speak to a manager if you have a question because if not you may get false info.

  • Review 26 (2014-10-15 - Rating: 5)

Overall, The Woodlands is the full package. First of all the price for what you get is very affordable, taking into consideration the gym amenities, pool, clubhouse, and free cable and internet. The property is very pretty, and the actual unit is very homey. The nice laminate wood floors are probably one of my favorite things about my apartment! This is my second year living here, and it is honestly my home away from home.

  • Review 27 (2023-07-25 - Rating: 5)

Move out was super hectic and stressful, and I had an issue with a package. Sylvia was eager to help me, and she kept in consistent contact with me as she resolved the issue. I really appreciated her persistence and willingness to help me!

  • Review 28 (2018-10-03 - Rating: 5)

I have had such a great experience overall with everything the Woodlands has to offer. Great floor plans, amazing amenities, and best of all such a wonderful and helpful staff. Every time Ive had little issues here and there, this one gentlemen by the name of Manny has always been so accommodating and gracious towards me, and its truly a special thing to see.

  • Review 29 (2018-10-10 - Rating: 5)

I’m a super senior at A&M and have lived at the Woodlands for the last 4 years. The staff has always been good, but since Manny started working there I have felt significantly more at home. He truly has gone out of his way in countless instances to make me feel like I matter to him and the rest of the Woodlands staff. I wish i wasn’t graduating in December because I’m going to miss Manny’s hospitality.

  • Review 30 (2021-02-12 - Rating: 4)

The woodlands is a great off campus location to live at! It is extremely accessible to lots of great food places as well as their clubhouse offers many great amenities! The rooms are quite spacious and overall there aren’t many maintenance issues.

  • Review 31 (2022-10-27 - Rating: 5)

Been living here a couple months and have had no problems so far, as an A&M student it is super convenient that the bus passes right by the complex. Also this apartment has more room compared to some other places in CSTAT.

  • Review 32 (2019-02-27 - Rating: 5)

Howdy i typically dont write reviews about complexs but i felt like i should for the Woodlands of College Station. I enjoyed this complex very much. It has everything you could wish to have in a college apartment. I wanted to point out how nice their staff is and very helpful. I spoke to Katherine and she was super friendly and welcoming! I couldnt have asked for a better experience.

  • Review 33 (2017-04-09 - Rating: 5)

Olivia Chamness was my tour guide for the Woodlands in College Station, and she was absolutely wonderful! She had answers to all the questions I had and was very professional. I enjoyed talking with her about her awesome experience at the Woodlands. Our visit confirmed my desire to lease, especially thanks to Olivia. I will be moving there in the fall of 2017, and I cant wait! Definitely check out the Woodlands if you are planning on attending Blinn or A&M, you will love it!!

  • Review 34 (2017-01-10 - Rating: 4)

I love the leasing consultants and maintenance team! They were always so friendly and helpful. They always tried their best to fix whatever problem I had. The management is another story, but Id hate for their hard working staff to be under appreciated in this review.

  • Review 35 (2018-08-22 - Rating: 5)

Apartment is nice, staff seem chill, and the pool is nice. Waiting for the workout room to be done but the pictures look like itll be great. All in all, 2 thumbs up so far. My room is pretty big too.

  • Review 36 (2017-04-03 - Rating: 5)

This will be my third year living at the Woodlands and I have always had a great experience with every associate that I have spoke to. The property manager Laney Pitman especially helped me and my roommates out with great deals and great customer service when we came in to sign for our third time. I love living here and highly recommend the Woodlands of College Station!!

  • Review 37 (2014-10-15 - Rating: 5)

Living in college station, I have lived at 3 other places. This by far is my favorite. It is the only place that finally has a 24 hour clubhouse so that really comes in handy. The rooms are a lot bigger and have more space for all my things. The maintenance crew responds quick and I have not had a complaint yet.

  • Review 38 (2017-03-31 - Rating: 5)

I have so many friends that live at the Woodlands and we always like to go lay out by the pool area and every time we walk through office, Olivia is always super friendly and asks how we are doing.  It’s definitely nice to walk in and always feel welcomed.  I give the woodlands 5 stars for their great customer service!

  • Review 39 (2018-10-10 - Rating: 5)

Called last week to inquire about open units/rooms and spoke to Manny? (honestly Im not great with names). He informed me on all the available units and gave me the pricing for each one. I even bombarded him with questions and he patiently answered all of them. Im still on my hunt for places to live but can honestly say that my interaction with your community assistant bumped the woodlands to the top of my list. I havent even stepped in the office and I already feel at home!

  • Review 40 (2017-05-14 - Rating: 4)

The woodlands is a pretty cool place to live. You actually get what you pay for as far as amenities. The marketing team throws the best events which are monthly (and yes I attend all of them) . Also , Sim is pretty much my favorite WOCS employee. He always keeps me updated and makes sure that any question I have never goes unanswered.

  • Review 41 (2016-12-07 - Rating: 5)

The facilities are very nice, and I have never had any major issues with my apartment. I have found the staff to be very friendly, and the maintenance team is very diligent about responding to service requests. It definitely has everything that I look for in a student housing complex!

  • Review 42 (2019-02-25 - Rating: 5)

My experience at the Woodlands of College Station has been a great one! One of your employees (Ethan Plaisance) was extremely helpful with the leasing process and made it super easy for me and my roommates. I would recommend the Woodlands to anyone looking for a great living experience in College Station!

  • Review 43 (2019-10-16 - Rating: 5)

The Woodlands is definitely the place to be! It doesnt have that weird motel feel like other apartments. My apartment is so spacious, I feel like Im living in a house! The amenities are amazing and the staff is SUPER nice!

  • Review 44 (2019-10-31 - Rating: 5)

I love living here. Me and my roommates have had an amazing experience and we love the office staff. Sometimes there is a problem with billing but we have been helped out and had it fixed rather swiftly.

  • Review 45 (2023-07-18 - Rating: 5)

Great complex, I like the area and design. If there was ever any issues, maintenance would fix it in a timely manner and effectively. It is close to the bus station which was great for me. Overall would recommend.

  • Review 46 (2018-11-29 - Rating: 5)

Great environment with spacious layout apartments and convenient neighborhood. On-site office with friendly staff. Free coffee from the clubhouse everyday, even often serves gourmet restaurant ordered food for different events. It’s an ideal place for all students.

High praise to Kali Goesch for her assistance in helping us to work through some administrative issues. She was always super pleasant and kind, and went the extra mile to make sure that she was doing all she could to resolve our situation. She is most certainly a tremendous asset to the team @ The Woodlands.

The Woodlands is a great place to live. I live in a 3 bedroom flat with 2 other roommates. There are many nice accomodations. Located right off of Wellborn, it is a great location close to campus and other main parts of College Station.

  • Review 50 (2018-11-16 - Rating: 5)

Great place to live but the staff is cycled through like crazy. Also, if you have an issue make sure you speak to a manager. The front desk people will legit tell you anything to get you to stop talking to them while they do their homework. Other than that its a great place to live. Awesome location and super close to food.

  • Review 51 (2018-10-09 - Rating: 5)

The woodlands apartments are so spacious & bright! Close to campus and an awesome pool. The staff is super helpful & nice. Especially Manny he is always super nice and answers all my questions.

  • Review 52 (2018-10-03 - Rating: 5)

Called the other day with some questions about the complex and the guy I talked to (Manny?) was super helpful. Most apartment complexes are quick or just refer you to their website when you have questions, but this guy gave me so much info it was great. Dont usually write reviews but I was impressed by the service.

  • Review 53 (2017-03-30 - Rating: 4)

The floor plan is very spacious compared to other places around here. I was also having trouble with some things and one of the staff members (his name was Manny I believe) was super helpful and worked out everything the same day. Great place to live.

  • Review 55 (2018-10-03 - Rating: 5)

The Woodlands is beautiful. Its close to everything, but still tucked away to feel as though you arent right in the middle of the city. They also run a bus through the property to get you to the TAMU bus stop, which is honestly great when its raining.

  • Review 56 (2018-10-10 - Rating: 5)

When I was looking for housing I searched amenities and prices everywhere. I couldn’t recommend the Woodlands enough, really thankful for Manny who was a huge help and really made me feel comfortable and not just another looker/appointment. Love the staff and location!! Sign here!!!! Whoop!

Cannot commend Stephanie Bowen, General Manager, enough for her kindness and help in getting my granddaughter settled in a new unit. The company just purchased the property and hiccups are to be expected, but Ms. Bowen is one who is dedicated to not just improving, but excelling!
