New resident here. I do have to say that this is one the of the best apartments I’ve been in. Ruby the manager has the best customer service satisfaction. There was someone else working kn the weekends and I got the same care. She takes the time to understand and respond at work and even off work. It’s a very calm atmosphere. The apartments are absolutely beautiful. The management and staff are kind, responsive, knowledgeable, helpful, hardworking, and committed to highest quality standards. The property is beautiful and location is great.

Peaceful place to live. The front office ladies are all supper friendly . I personally have no problems here. I enjoy that its minutes away from malls and supermarkets, restaurants, and any kind of entertainment. The maintenance crew is also very friendly And fix any apartment issues promptly. The property is always maintained clean. I want to thank the whole staff for making my life easier and relaxing here at district at memorial.

I visited a family member last weekend. I can say this apartment complex is wonderful. We visited the leasing office and the crew were super nice and friendly. I have lived in Houston for 8 years now. The last 6 months here at District at Memorial. These have been the best 6 months by far.This place is amazing. The facility is so well managed that it feels like home. The staff is friendly and eager to help at all times. The amenities are numerous and superbly maintained. The technology utilized at this facility is up to date and user friendly.The grounds are beautiful and well maintained and I am yet to encounter a resident here who didn’t say “Hi”. This place is so well located within the Memorial City area that my travel to and from work is under 5 minutes even during rush hour traffic. It is so close to multiple shopping areas, nice restaurants, and the Memorial City Mall that traffic is no longer a source of stress.I am looking forward to a very long relationship with District at Memorial as my residence in Houston.

Great place! Ive lived here of over 4 year now and its all because of the customer service I have been receiving. Both the manager and the staff listen and answers any issues or complaints I may have. The are very nice when I talk with them, even if Im just passing by. Maintenance are nice as well, always come when requested. So far Im still happy to live here and plan to renew again

I have an update on my stay here at district at Memorial my stay here has been lovely. My favorite leasing agent is Miss Lynn. I love the manager on the property she takes care of all of my needs and concerns and I love the way they keep the property up, she listens to me she understands and she solved my problems in a timely manner I love it here on this property. I haven’t had any issues and still will recommend the property to anyone looking for a home

I love my unit. I’m on the fifth floor corner lot. I have respectable neighbors and the staff here is great. I’ve especially grown fond with Ruby, Rudy and Lynn as well as a cleaning lady. (Rayna) She’s very quiet, she does a great job keeping the hallways smelling fresh and looking nice.

I live here from May 2020 until November 2023. I truly enjoyed my time here and there are lots of pros to this complex. The location is amazing, the gym is beautiful and the facilities staff keeps the place nice and clean. You can tell they are well equip in their job and it shows. The parking garage is nice and has plenty of space however the security needs to be tighter. You cant really avoid tire theft at any complex especially one off the highway so not sure much could be done about that. The pool on the roof is a nice touch. Ive enjoyed many memories there with family and friends as well as the front courtyard. The cons for me was lack of communication in certain areas as well as accountability when a mistake was made. Which is HUGE for me. I rarely had any noise issues with neighbors. The complex was very peaceful for the most part. Ultimately, I decided to move due to the high rent increase and space available. I was able to find a place for the same price for more space in the same area. When I moved, the front office staff led by Ruby was very accommodating. I think if there was more space, I would have considered staying. Over all I give my time here a 8.5 out of 10 and would recommend moving here.

I’ve lived at this complex now for 4 years and it’s been nothing short of amazing!Outside of the obvious amazing things about it like location, and access to the highways, the staff and the overall cleanliness of the property truly sets them apart.Maintenance acts FAST… like, freakishly fast. It’s really the best feeling knowing any issue is addressed fast. My apartment is up to date. I’ve had many amazing nights at the rooftop pool, and even gained a few work out partners from the two story gym.At one point I was going to move and put in a notice to vacate, but then I decided to stay and Ruby, the manager, was so helpful and understanding through all of my indecisiveness. She quickly got me the correct paperwork once I decided to stay and I knew she worked to get me the best possible rate.I love love love living here for the last 4 years and it’s looking like it’ll be a little longer! It’s just that great! :)

The employed staff members are great, the woman that holds boot class twice a week is wonderful and friendly. You couldn’t ask for a better group of people that work in that office. Nothing but respect and appreciation for those ladies. I recommend this place to anyone. Oh and the maintenance guy is A1!

I’ve been a resident going on 2 years now. The rent did go up the second year but as expected with the cost of living rising within the country. Management is straightforward and easy to work with. I have interacted with Lynn and Kathy occasionally and they both have been straightforward and more than helpful with information and assistance, I have always had an answer with any concerns I’ve had and if not immediately it was provided within one business day. Maintenance has been quick and hassle free, as long as the maintenance ticket is submitted it is usually done within 24-48 hours. The property itself is nice and maintained regularly, if there is issues with the property, management is good with conveying what is going on and their solution to the issue if asked( routine maintenance, inspections, utility outages, etc) . The people are helpful and the location is convenient, this is just from the perspective of someone who lived in barracks most of their adult life, so take it with a grain of salt and use your own judgement.

We just signed our lease and I must admit, moving from out of state, this is not an easy process. With that being said, Lynn was such a delight ! She made us feel as if we knew her already and took on the initiative to get our deposit submitted ON HER OFF DAY ! The level of professionalism and attention to our needs is top tier !! God bless you Ms. Lynn because we both know your job isn’t easy and you never were frustrated or even changed a tone during our conversations. This is the kind of customer service we expect from anyone and she is setting the bar!!Update !! Lynn and Mary are a true delight !! I’m happy to write this review on my experience thus far living at District at Memorial. When I first came to visit the property I met Kathy and she was a pleasure to work with very kind and sweet. Ruby is also amazing and helpful. She explained the process and made it easy for me to apply and when I had to make a last minute switch in units and she made it happen. The maintenance team is amazing and very quick to respond to requests and I enjoy being able to use the portal for requests, to pay rent and more. The only one negative thing I have to say is about the neighbors above me and not being respectful of people living under them. I’m sure management will be on top of it as well. The amenities are awesome, the mail system they have in place is the best, parking is great with plenty of spaces, locked gates and doors, the dog park and extras make it all worth it. I’m happy living here. 🙏🏾

She was great to work with and made the whole experience of apartment hunting a joy. We have signed a lease here and Kathleen has been responsive to emails and phone calls regarding any questions we have had. I look forward to moving into our unit in June.

District at Memorial is a prime location and for the price it doesn’t get any better than that. The units are very nice and they have an excellent maintenance team. Also, they have a spacious two story gym, roof top pool, and other nice amenities that highlight these apartments. My only complaints are that it takes time to fix things around the property and there are some residents that are irresponsible with their pets by not picking up after them. Overall, I recommend the District at Memorial apartments.

I was in a hurry to move out of my old place- she made the move-in process happen with ease, even stayed late to show me some units right when I got off of work one day. Shes been able to answer all my questions since moving in, and so far, I do not have any regrets!

I have been living there for about 2 years since June 2018.The new management which started early March 2020 is really doing a great job renewing the property amenities and re-establishing the customer relationship.Darienne the new property manager is a great person. I am really impressed with her enthusiasm, insistence, and leadership making the whole place way better, fun and different than than the previous management.I definitely recommend the place to live in as it is safe, secure, and the location is awesome.

I moved into the District at Memorial early Fall 2021 and experienced first-hand the switch to new mgmt/staff and the difference is night and day when it comes to response and being attentive for requests. Although there are a few things to mention, as with most large complexes, just as garage/gate access, elevator access/speed, and weekend-night noise, overall my time at the complex has been great!Unfortunately, I had to exit my lease early after purchasing a home. I have to say the front staff including Kathy, Philip & the rest, have been nothing but sweet and reassuring during my time there as well as my move out - they would be my number one reason for choosing this place. Maintenance staff is top-notch - responding and addressing issues within a day with many tickets being completed the same day.Would be happy to continue my lease if I didnt have a mortgage to deal with. With housing and renting becoming increasingly difficult, the location and the staff are what make this place stand out. If the location is right for you, I suggest you try out District at Memorial!Oh, and dont forget to checkout one of the citys hidden gems - a rooftop pool all to yourself!

I would like to apologize in advance for this long comment but I must tell you about my experience at these incredible apartments.This pandemic has taken a toll on a lot of people. I, myself had lost a lot of money and time with love ones from it. But despite of me not being able to pay my bills on time Mr.Ulises did an outstanding job with helping me out. I was very stressed and I told him that I did not want to get evicted! He ensured me that it will not come to that and sent me over a deferred payment sheet for the economic crisis. In my years, I have lived in multiple places but no where as considerate of their residence as these apartments. They send updates about situations around the complex. They ensure that we have a bit to eat once or twice of week outside in the front. And they keep the place spotless! I love this place and the new management team. Well done guys!#proudresident

I moved to The District in 2020 during the onset of the pandemic and it has been my oasis during the chaos. Our community took great care to ensure that residents were minimally affected and most amenities remained accessible (rooftop pool, 2-story gym, other recreation areas, etc). The property is conveniently located near sophisticated food & shopping. The Energy Corridor area attracts mature oil & gas professionals so there are far more fur babies than families w/small children living here. Its a very comfortable environment for young professionals and single adults. My only apprehension has been the on-going renovations but I appreciate their efforts for improvement.

Great apartments in a prime location with everything you’ll need 5-10 mins away. There are a lot of upgrades with amenities taking place currently with the gym just recently updated and the pool and other common areas getting nice upgrades too. My apartment is a great size for a good price compared to similar apartments nearby.The only issues I have (which are mainly the residents fault) are when people just throw trash in the trash room and not in the chute . Also when residents let their dogs poop in hallways and don’t clean up after them.All the leasing agents are very warm, especially Darien and Ulises who have been of great help and always respond to requests promptly when brought to their attention.

Ive been living at the District at Memorial for over a year and Ive recently renewed my lease. The leasing office staff is great and they are very friendly and accommodating. Anytime time I have a maintenance issue I log a request for service online and all matters are resolved in a timely manner. The property has great amenities that include a rooftop pool, community lounge (very nice), and a theater room. Additionally, they are always having community events that include food, drinks, and fun opportunities to get to know you neighbors. We are very close to the numerous places to shop, eat & drink in City Centre and Memorial CIty, plus we are only 9 miles from the Galleria and about 13 miles from Downtown. I would certainly recommend the District at Memorial to anyone who may be interested.

When I first moved In my experience was horrible and it was clear that management really didn’t care. However management changed the next week and that changed everything, thank god! I was considering paying to get out of my lease my experience was so bad but the new manager reassured me. They are very sweet, caring, and helpful when something goes wrong. The respond to your emails and concerns. They have began remodeling the whole complex as the last management clearly did not care and let the place go. I say this new management saved the life of this complex and I would recommend it. However, make sure you lock your car doors and don’t park outside the gate because I have heard of a lot of cars being stolen on this area. Other than that this apt itself and the management are great!

Love this place! After living in many different parts of houston, I must say that this is one of the top apartment buildings to live at. They are on top of their customer service when it comes to leasing and maintenance. Super friendly people throughout the building and awesome staff that bring the place to life. The amenities are great ranging from the two floor gym to newly renovated areas! Easy access to the highway to commute to work and close enough to city center to experience the great restaurants all around. The building is kept super clean and like I said before most of the building is like new, fresh paint and clean all around. Not to mention the food trucks that come out and events that the front office puts on. Shoutout to Nicole who helped my wife and I get our two bedroom apartment! No matter what small thing I requested when it came to questions or having maintenance change out a few things, they took care of it quickly. Thank you soo much for making this place so easy to call home. If you’re considering to leasing here, I would say do it.

Ive been living at District at Memorial for 2 years now and decided to extend my stay due to my great experience. We have not experienced a long waiting time in any service request we have placed. All office personnel in especially Valerie and Alejandro have provided us with over the top excellent customer service. Very centralized location we love it due to being close to all entertainment. Highly recommend to everybody!!

I have been living at this complex for about 2.5 years now and the Management team has changed about 4 or 5 times since I began living here due to so many different ongoing problems and issues with the way the complex was being managed and maintained but I really just have to say that through it all there was only one person that I have been able to count on throughout this whole experience. Kathy is by far the greatest thing that has ever happened to this complex. She is amazing, just so sweet and caring with everyone and has always been super helpful and informative. Kathy is always in a good mood, will listen to all your concerns and has always done her absolute best to get them taken care of for me. If it weren’t for her I would have never lasted this long at this complex. I am very thankful to her for making this questionable experience a good one for me. I can also say thankfully the newest management team that has come in has also been great and have done wonders just in the past few months with this place. I really believe that this team will be the one to get this place back on track.

Natalie is the hardest working front office human I have ever had the pleasure to meet. She handles all our inquiries and follows through. I have seen this not only through our experiences, but others have said the same. The maintenance crew works very aggressively through issues, and have my utmost respect. Some tenants do not respect others in the complex by leaving garbage behind, speeding through the parking garage, loud noise, etc, but this is up to those people to change their behavior. The complex does not displace these concerns though. They work through them by severity and try to ensure we all remain safe and are treated fairly. We have enjoyed our stay so far.

I lived at these apartments for a few months & really enjoyed my stay here. I had no problems what so ever and if I did the staff especially Natalie handled them quickly. I really appreciated that. I love these new townhouses. They have a great urban feel yet the layout allows for it to be extremely spacious aw well. At least in my opinion, they did a fantastic job at efficiently making use of every last inch of space tithe utmost. The pool up on the 7th floor,( roof of the parking garage) was quite a novel experience for this Native WestSider/ Westchasian/ Spring Brancher/ Addict... lol

The place is great. Yeah sometimes the gates will not work properly but those instances are a bit rare and promptly fixed. They addressed and resolved any issues I’ve had so far. As for the people here. Well, you can’t help how everyone acts. I’m not sure why people are so upset with Valerie. She’s been great to work with and super helpful. They are constantly upkeeping the place. There’s no trash in the stairwells, garage or by the pool. I guess everyone had different experiences? Oh well five stars so far.

Communication rules the nation!!!! Communication is key, I cant speak for everyone that lives in these apartments. If something is going on with you or your apartment, you have to speak up because the problem can not get fixed unless the office staff is informed. The experience that I am having over here is a wonderful experience.

I lived in this apartment for almost 2 years with my wife and my new born son. It was the biggest two bedroom apartment they had to offer. I couldn’t ask for a better place to live in with a small baby. The apartment was big and spacious with lots of storage space for my kid’s million little things. The wooden flooring was really beautiful and the granite counter tops made the apartment look very rich. The long windows in the living room gave a panoramic view of the widest highway in the world (i10) and at the same time prevented any noise from all the bustling cars. The bathroom had double vanity for me and my wife to get ready at the same time without any issues. The kitchen had plenty of cabinet space as well as it had a deep kitchen sink. We also had a patio with a nice view.The common area has a nice big lounge to host parties and a separate game area with poker table and a pool table as well as a media room with a 70 inch tv. I hav hosted several poker nights with my friends and they loved playing there. We hosted our kids first birthday party in the lounge and it could easily hold around 70 people. The party was a big hit. The common area in the first floor has a conference room and a relaxing area with nice couches and coffee table. The management always conducted good monthly events like breakfasts, brunches, Karaokes and happy hours.The gym is pretty well quipped and is pretty convenient to go to any hour of the day. Swimming pool in the top floor is decent although I wish it was a bit bigger. I miss living here and would love to come back if possible.

Great, prompt service by Gerber on a maintenance request this afternoon. Power went out on two essential cooking appliances and the electric coffee pot in my kitchen. Gerber responded within an hour and restored power in time for dinner! Ive resided here three and a half years, and have found The District at Memorial staff to be consistently helpful, and the community to be a pleasant, peaceful place within which to live.

I like the leasing office management. Special thanks to Valerie, so as to her colleagues: friendly, patient and helpful. Maybe it is because I was pretty easy going and polite with them as well. I hope. Thank you.Spent here 6 month and now relocating back inside the loop. Well, that is why not saying anything about pros and cons of this location. Everyone has its own preferences.Property:Garage is a bit narrow, however got used to that pretty quickly. Care and consideration and all has been fine for me so far.Generally, nice and friendly community. If you, actually, will have a chance and get to know them.Gym is nice.Swimming pool: Looks cool, however, never had time to go there and get a sun bath. Oh, well..Shopping mall and City center are right across the road.Terry Hershey park is about 5 min by car or 15-20 min by bike. From TH you can ride straight into GB park, which can give you altogether 40+ miles. Ride carefully and be safe.P.S: cant believe I wrote that much.Take care.

District at Memorial apts were just recently bought back by Kaplan Management Company and OMG we felt the changes immediately the staff is amazing so sweet and helpful always. They are remodeling every amenity and even adding a 2nd pool!! if you havent been back or left its definetly time for you to come back. Simpson Housing had no idea how to manage a high luxury apartment complex but Kaplan does I Love them and as a side note. I was planning to move out when my lease is up in August but not anymore. Kaplan is the reason I am staying. A big Thank you to Darrianne, Angel, Kourtney and Ulises!! ❤💜💙💛

I’ve lived here for a couple months now. The leasing office very attentive to the residents. If there is a pest control they fix it, security randomly checks people coming in, leasing office keeps their residents informed, great appliances in the apartments.
