Been here going on a year and was about to put my notice in until I met the new staff! It was like a breath of fresh air being greeted by people who genuinely wanted to make sure I was taken care of! I had issues pending since I moved in and within 48hrs they were all resolved thanks to the new manager staying on top of things! I feel more comfortable renewing now since I genuinely do love my apartment!

My husband and I have been living in this complex for the past 2.5 months and we have loved every minute of it. I read some of the reviews on here and I can say that as far as the location of my unit I feel very safe. There is plenty of lighting, the grounds are well kept. I can honestly say that I love coming home. The new staff is very friendly and I have yet to have any issues come up.

A beautiful place, Im looking for an apartment in this area and I loved the remodeled apartments, the grill and pool area are beautiful, when I entered the office I saw the impeccably clean office and the super friendly staff, I felt like I was part of family, Miss Andrea assisted me very kindly and cordially on the tour, she showed me the apartment which is super beautiful, without a doubt I will move in 100% recommended.I leave a photo of the pool, it is beautiful and the grill area.

I love this property now that the new property manager is so helpful, caring, and doing an excellent job since she has been here I have seen a dramatic change for our property. When you put in a work order her staff promptly takes care of the issue. no more waiting a week or more for repairs.

Nadia, the assistant manager is the very best! Shes very helpful and will always make sure that youre a happy tenant!! Not only is she professional but shes a sweetheart and always have a smile on her face. Her attitude is always positive and she just makes you want to smile!!! The apartments are awesome. Very quiet and spacious too. The Heights is a great place to raise your family. There arent enough good words to say about Nadia. If youre looking for a place please give her a ring!!!

Of course I recommend living here, its very nice.I have been living in the property for 2 years and I have never had any problems, on the contrary I had about 2 work orders in which my air conditioning was going, The maintenance guys arrived and fixed it immediately. The maintenance manager, I think his name is Johnathan, was very kind. He came with another young man, Josue, thats his name. They fixed my work orders very quickly.In these years that I have been living here I have felt very comfortable, and the renovations they are doing are beautiful, the grill area and the pool are beautiful.This new administration does look out for its residents. I had not seen any manager walk around the property and I have seen this Yaneth do it. I spoke with her and she is very friendly. I loved the way she treated me and made me feel confident.thanks for everything guys.

Great experience! I met with Mr. Edward he was very nice. Explained the application process with me. Very knowledgeable about the complex, he greeted us with a smile sometimes just a smile makes you feel comfortable. He answered every question we asked. The property is well kept and possible with Edwards help it will be our new home. Looking for a place to stay don’t hesitate to stop by this property and ask for Edward☺️

I had an amazing experience at Vintage at 18th Street! The community is fantastic, and the staff is exceptionally welcoming, especially Edward. He was outstanding and incredibly knowledgeable about all of the apartments and amenities. The spaces are beautiful , with the grill and pool areas standing out as particularly inviting. The entire team was so friendly and made the place feel like home. Highly recommend!

Looking for my next place to call home. Went in for a tour. If I remember correctly the person helping me her name was Andrea. She was just so nice and informative! Let me view a couple of different floor plans. Very clean!! Definitely on my list of top three places. I know if I go back I’m definitely going to ask Andrea to assist me again!

Greetings, I recently came into the property for a tour. Upon entry, I was greeted by a young man named Edward. He greeted me with a smile and a level of professionalism that was like none other. As we began taking the tour, he asked me probing questions like, “what all are you looking for in an apartment?” And “what’s your price range?”. As we were on the tour he was very knowledgeable of the property and was able to answer every question I asked him with extreme confidence. I urge anyone who is looking for an apartment to stop by this property and ask for Edward, I promise you won’t he disappointed.

Love it here! I had problems with my AC unit and it has the be replaced, in the meantime they installed windows units and kept the my apartment cool. Once they received the new parts, they replaced and fixed the issue. Jonathan and other maintenance guy (I think his name is Josue) did the installation and I personally thanked them! Also, the manager Janeth was super helpful in this process and she called me a few times just to make sure I got an update about the situation.

I love this property! The area is so close to everything that I need. Plus the customer service is top tier, Edward was very helpful and provided extremely knowledgeable service. I had to apologize to him for calling so much, but every time I did he greeted me with a warm welcome and never seemed to be bothered to answering all my questions. Andrea was the leasing agent who helped me and my friend into a 2 bedroom townhome!She was outstanding with her level of communication! This process went quite smoothly and i am extremely happy here. This complex is fully gated and has cameras in the parking lots. It feels very safe! They also held an event at the pool “back to school party” for the residents and it was super cool to see! They even rented a snowcone truck.So far maintenance has been on their game! We’ve had some issues with AC and they have come to fix it each time. The AC not working at full capacity is the only issue that we have assessed as of yet and we are working on it together! Again, Andrea has helped me a lot with this matter and is always in contact with me as a tenant.Shes a very diligent agent and shes very kind!Im extremely happy with this move, complex, and its employees.

My partner and I have been living at Oaks of Timbergrove for almost 6 years now and we can honestly say that we’ve seen so much improvement over the last year with Tri Arc and the new Management team. Now with the property’s new name Vintage at 18th Street.The staff are very nice and super helpful. We are grateful for the maintenance for trying their best in keeping the property nice and clean also responding to work orders in a timely manner. Nadia has especially made sure the transition has been as smooth as possible. We have been super understanding and patient because we know things do happen and are sometimes out of the Managements control otherwise is taken care of as promptly as possible.Everything that has been promised a year ago with the renovations and community gatherings has come to life and continues to surprise us.We are super excited to continue seeing the amazing transformations of this property also to see the growth of an amazing community Nadia has built and put together with a lot of hard work, dedication and love.Thank you so much Vintage at 18th Street for helping us finally able to call this place our home!

Most of the issues that Ive had with my unit were dealt with in a timely manner (like my AC and requests for exterminators), and a lot of the issues that they had werent really in their control (a few rolling black/brownouts over the summer, without power for a day or a few days at a time).I think that if people are realistic, its really not that bad of a place.This has been my experience living alone in an A1 floor plan (727 sqft).The pros:- Great office staff, very attentive, very responsive.- Very affordable.- Price per square footage is honestly great.- Good insulation, temperatures are fine, central AC is great, and the upgraded thermostats were nice.- Not too noisy, walls arent sound proof but definitely not thin.- Residences seem nice, mostly keep to themselves, but friendly enough and reasonable.- The unit itself: the water pressure was good, huge closet, lots of storage space in kitchen, closets, and bathroom for one person.- New management seems to know what theyre doing and I think the place will be even better in a few years.- Great signing deals and discounts for rent.- Some community events which I havent attended but at least theyre trying something.A few issues here and there but I do think theyre taking care of it. I had a big list of cons but everything seems to be getting better overall.

This property is to die for! Walking in the ambiance was warm and welcoming! The staff were really bubbly for it to be 10 in the morning! Everyone spoke and offered assistance. I’ve been to a couple of places where greeting wasn’t so great! I had appointment with Edward I was 15 minutesearly but he was ready for me! The tour was great and Edward gave great details and all the info I needed to become a part of The Vintage At 18th Street family! Thanks Edward for being a Grrrreeeatt tour guide!

There is a lot going on here, but it’s a work in progress and the progress is great! The leasing office personnel are very friendly and super helpful for any issue. The maintenance staff is always working, they never stop; and are friendly and diligent with their tasks. This has lace is definitely becoming a great community and I love most of my neighbors. There are a lot of kids to play with too!

I unexpectedly had to move on short notice and had been looking for properties for weeks. I found this jewel of a property during a last-ditch effort Google search and gave them a call. Nadia answered and was cheerful and professional. As soon as she realized that I was looking to move in five days, she transferred me to Vanice, the Leasing Manager. Within the hour, I completed my application online and sent over my docs for a background check. I then visited the property and viewed several floorplans with Vanice (who was very patient with me!) until I decided on the super cute renovated one-bedroom townhome. We started the leasing process immediately. Vanice and Nadia took away about fifty pounds of stress from my shoulders. I have never had a better experience with a property/community. I could go on, but mainly I just want to give a gigantic thank you to them. I can tell that a lot of love is going into making this community a home...not just a place to stay.

Hello, it really helps when you have leasing office that cares. Edward Randle is amazing, after the storm. He was knocking on doors to make sure the residents were ok, that was really thoughtful that he went above and beyond. They also hired a cook to prepare tacos since we were not to cook. This makes me a keeper, I love when staff shows they care.

Update: Ive already moved out due to unfortunate circumstances. Ive been in contact with management handling the effects of my early termination of our contract. Honestly, theyve been so patient with me. I cannot express how much I appreciate it. If I could afford it, I would move back. I wish management and their staff all the best.Much like everyone else, Im also experiencing issues with the A/C. It works for now, but reading the reviews, itll probably go out again as well. They put more freon in it and it lasted me several months.I couldnt use my sink in the kitchen for nearly a month because the garbage disposal was broken, and it would pour water on my floor. Around that same time, my dishwasher broke. They replaced the disposal, and I had to put in a request for the dishwasher because the water at the bottom wouldnt drain. Eventually, it did drain and I ran it to see if it was usable. It seemed to work fine at the time. I ran it once more before going to bed, 5 hours later, I woke up to it still running... dishes still dirty and a weird smell coming from it. I havent ran it since then, as Im afraid it will catch on fire. Dont know when theyll fix it, its been two months.But wait, theres more... I renewed my lease on September 26th of 2022, I actually took time off work to go fill out the application. I still have emails of me sending them my paycheck stubs. Fast-forward to today, Im being told I never renewed my lease. I guess I just randomly tried to send in my paycheck stubs for no reason at all. They lost my application.

I want to first start off by saying Mr.Haggerty and his entire staff anre amazing, every request I’ve made has been handled with care and concern. My apartment has very modern look. Everything when it comes to appliances to paint work is brand new. I love that we have a lock that you can use your phone to open, and that we can control the temperature with the app. The upgrades are top-tier and are really beautiful I would recommend these apartments every time 10/10

I was driving in the area looking for a new apartment. I was immediately greeted when I walked in. The PM (T. Haggerty) was nice, he showed me all the units that were available for immediate move in, and he then took the time to listen to me. I was complaining to him about where I currently reside. I shared my personal experience with renting and also shared how moving to a new property I want to feel heard as a tenant. He helped comforted me and assured me that this property cares about their tenants. I will be applying at this property when my lease is up. Great customer service and lovely property.

I was greeted upon entrance, shown various floor plans and then a remodeled unit with Terrence. He was very helpful, thorough and answered all of my questions. The upgrades are extremely nice and the location is great. Looking forward to signing my lease soon.

I have lived at Oaks of Timbergrove twice now. I’ve had three management companies in that time, and your experience will vary by the company. The current team is doing their best to handle a tricky spot, and answered their phones, and engaged well. I liked my units (having had a townhouse, and single bedroom style).The layout of the complex isn’t the best. It’s a sprawling complex and the numbering system isn’t the most coherent. Parking is mixed, guests have better or worse luck depending on where you are located. Dog park is cute, and decently kept up.Overall, not a terrible complex if the location and price is right for you, especially if current management is able to continue their updates.

This apartment complex, although older, is a decent and safe place to live. However, they are under new management, new owners actually I believe, and they are doing everything in their power to make it a whole new community😊 They’re renovating, taking care of all maintenance problems promptly, and trying to take care of all the residents issues. The old management/ owners were absolutely HORRIBLE, which is where all the bad reviews are coming from, and they are just trying to fix their mistakes. The new management/ owners all the way down to the leasing agents/ new maintenance people are incredible and also very kind, they seem to genuinely care about the residents and want to make it a better community. *Edited my review from a 1 star to a 5 star, my old review was over a year old*If I remember correctly, the new management team came in about 6 or 7 months ago and I’ve got to say, the new management that came in after TriArc took over has been NIGHT AND DAY compared to the previous management company that was here. They have been SUPER NICE and welcoming and are just awesome people to talk to!!If you’re debating on coming here, I would say do it and you wont regret it. The property does need some work, but its to be expected since these units are old and the price reflects it since they are affordable compared to the new stuff around this area, but since this new management team came in, they’ve been working hard to make sure the units are looking good and the property as well.Thank you management team!!

Very beautiful complex, I love all of the amenities within it. I did a tour with Bianca she explained everything in detail about each unit. I would live to move in if it was within my budget but unfortunately it is a bit over even with the on going specials. I would definitely recommend leasing here.

These last 8 days has been beyond stressful during this HURRICANE…When I say I have never saw a assistant manager that goes OVER & BEYOND for their tenants we had no electricity for 8days & NADIA made sure that everyone had a place to sleep,charge there phone,wash or even cook a HOT MEAL for they families we have been through many STORMS & i have never seen this happen EVER we need more people like NADIA that really CARES about ALL never discriminated against anyone WE ALL came together and looked out for each other during this time our GOD is beyond amazing we got POWER back on 7-15-24 & it never felt so amazing NADIA we thank you 🙏🏽 you are a sweetheart & you will forever be rewarded 🫶🏽…When i say i can’t be more satisfied with my apartment i love everything about it they are renovating the property & making lots of changes NADIA is the best such a sweetheart,I been here a little over 5 months & i have never felt so at home i love my unit so much NADIA is so professional & is beyond one of the best ASSISTANT MANAGERS I have ever came across in my 45yrs if you are looking for a nice place to call home don’t hesitate to stop by & ask for Nadia you will not be disappointed.

I used to live in this complex a few years ago and moved back in just over a month ago. I love the fact that they have affordable townhomes with great outdoor space - I miss stairs and wanted something different from an apartment. The affordable rent is a definite bonus and all of my neighbours have been really friendly and keen to get to know everyone.I wanted to leave my last apartment because of noise issues and it is so peaceful and quiet here. As a teacher, my weekends are spent grading a lot of the time, so it’s important I can get on with my work and get some much needed R&R too.I can’t praise Brooke in the office enough either as she was so professional and efficient when I asked for her assistance. A new company (RPM) has taken over and she’s already given them a great name in my books.

I have to say I am pleasantly suprised how much I enjoy living here. Leslie in the office is such an asset and a pleasure anytime I talk to or see her. The grounds and pools are kept well. Interiors of the units were renovated with new appliances, flooring, carpet, paint, hardware, and fixtures. They cut corners on some updates but overall done tastefully based on market rents here. I wont be renewing when my lease expires only because my budget for rent has upped and I would like to go back to a newer community with more amenities and features in the unit but it is not because I dont enjoy living here. My partner of four years is a Realtor and will definitely be referring clients to Oaks of Timbergrove for those whose budgets the property falls in. Keep up the good work guys :)

I have been a resident at Oaks of Timbergrove for over 8 months. The new RPM management is very engaging and swiftly responsive with tenant request. It is a great place to live. It is well kept for an older complex and very conveniently located in the Loop. My children and I feel safe in my apartment and new found community.

I lived here for an entire year and hated the previous managment team, they were uprofessional and poor at communicating with their tenants. However, the new management team that has occupied Oaks of Timbergrove is the complete opposite. They ensured that my move out was smooth and satisfactory. Due to covid-19 I lost my job but was relocated for a new job to D.C. and was concerned about paying rent for two places since my lease was not up until Aug 31 but Briana and Lewis were the dream team! They ensured that rental assitance covered all my costs, were quick to reply to my emails and phone calls and ensured that my experience with them was a positive one. If you are now thinking of moving into the heights with this management team, I stronly recommend them. They will attentive to your needs and ensure that your apartments feels like home. Thanks yall!

Round two, guys. My husband and I recently renewed our lease, so I thought it was a good time to write another review, updated to reflect any changes from my last review (submitted 10 months ago). We currently occupy a 2b/2b and have signed on for another 18 months at a $40 increase to our rent.I still think the rent rate for this area and apartment size is reasonable, however I will note the extra, unnecessary cable fee required by all residents to pay; Im not crazy about paying $40 for a service I do not use. I dont think anyone living in the complex wants to pay for a service they dont want.Environment:The complex is still a fairly quiet community environment and I very much enjoy the proximity to the Heights and dining services nearby. Its a pretty diverse community and Ive only encountered one rowdy neighbor who liked blasting country music at all hours of the day. Other than that, all is serene.Leasing staff:Theyre kind people who respond to any issues should they arise.Maintenance:I havent encountered any real issues with maintenance other than a prolonged ceiling repair that was needed after a roof leak in one of our bedrooms. The maintenance staff is really kind and if you remind the office about an existing issue, they quickly take care of it.Amenities:All of the apartment amenities are great and I especially enjoy the dog park and fitness facility.Parking:The complex provides one designated parking spot per lease, however the complex does provide additional visitor parking and exterior parking along Seaspray Court. My husband and I own two vehicles, however Ive never encountered an issue parking...although I do know of quite a few residents who illegally park in the fire lanes.Grievances:Im going to sound like a broken record, but my one grievance addresses the state of the driveway and parking lot surfaces, both inside and outside of the gates. The complex is littered with potholes and rough, uneven surfaces and most of the parking areas are in disrepair, heavily in need of resurfacing. I addressed this issue in my last review and Ive only seen a few potholes filled since then. The surfaces of the exterior parking areas are in poorer condition than they were 10 months ago. I sincerely hope the complex addresses this issue soon.To wrap up/sum up my review, Im giving this complex four stars for the price, the amenities and the proximity to nearby Heights attractions. I would give the complex five stars, but again, the parking surfaces are a bummer.

I would definitely recommend you go check this place out when looking for apartments. Its an older community, but it has been recently renovated and the upkeep is great!

The 5 stars are only because of Meghan Love, otherwise, it would be about 2 maybe 3. We’ve been here since October 2019 and experienced multiple family death and job calamity almost immediately and dealing with the Assistant manager hasn’t been the easiest. I know she must do her job, but she’s not the nicest, and dealing with roaches and water bugs, peeling tubs, bad outlets, and broken ac vents, I would think, there would be more compassion. But anyway, we moved to a new unit and have been working with Meghan and she’s AMAZING! Very informative and attentive. Also her follow up and response time is amazing. She even gave us little easy tips to help prevent the roaches in the new apartment! She’s definitely the best!

Im going to try my hand at a fair review. My partner and I have been living at The Oaks of Timbergrove since January. While there was an initial issue with the lease, the leasing office manager was quick to remedy the situation. Let me explain.... We worked with a part-time agent to sign our lease. We requested a two-bedroom apartment with a washer/dryer hookup. Thats what we thought we were getting but the agent was unaware that some two-bedroom units do not have a hookup. So upon moving in (hauling our washer and dryer in tow), we were a bit shocked to find that the unit we signed for didnt have the hookup.When we reported this issue with the leasing manager, he was very quick to remedy the situation. We signed for another unit later that day, voided the other lease and waited a week to move into the unit with the hookup.We did experience another issue related to the rate change between the old and new units, however that issue was also quickly remedied. Our rate for a 2b/2b is fair for the location and the amenities.Since then, we havent encountered any crazy issues or miscommunication with the leasing office worth noting. The leasing staff is friendly and responsive to work orders. It can sometimes be difficult to reach the office for the first half hour its open because the phone line usually automatically sends calls to voicemail.Regarding the complex:- We love our current unit. The appliances work just fine, the water pressure is great and I certainly feel safe in our unit. No roach infestations, so thats a heavy improvement from our last complex. The only issue we have with the unit regards the double balcony doors; theyre just hard to open and close.- The complex is usually pretty maintained, however there are quite a few potholes inside and along the perimeter of the complex. There are a limited number of visitor spots and residents usually park in those spots. The parking spots along the perimeter of the complex (outside of the gate and closest to Seaspray Ct) are badly paved and contain some pretty egregiously large potholes.- Ive encountered a few aggressive dogs, but Ive never been attacked by any, so theres that.- The second swimming pool is currently closed and not operational. Not sure why its not up and running. I havent checked it since June, though. Maybe it has been fixed since then.- The gutters could use some cleaning as theyre clogged and cause rain to redirect to our porch (and others, Ive noticed), making it a difficult process to stay dry when were going in and out of the apartment.- I can only ever pick up packages on Saturday as they are only open from 8:30 - 5:30pm M-F. This isnt an issue, Im simply noting the fact.Overall Im happy with the unit, the amenities, the location and the staff at The Oaks of Timbergrove. I would give the complex five stars, but those potholes really are terrible, haha.
