The negative reviews worried me. But do not listen to them.I had an amazing experience working with Dawn as I secured my first ever apartment. From the beginning, she was incredibly kind, honest, and truly went out of her way to support me at every step. Moving out on my own for the first time was both exciting and nerve-wracking, but Dawn’s guidance and transparency made the entire process so much easier. She answered all of my questions thoroughly and was always available to offer reassurance and practical help. I couldn’t have asked for a better leasing agent to help me through this journey. ❤️ Also the apartment complex is very quiet.

Very nice apartments with friendly neighbors. Has convenient fenced-in dog area. Backs up to amazing trails with spectacular views. The office staff are very courteous and promptly respond to any issues, including any maintenance items

I retired in April of this year and moved to Texas from Virginia in July of this year. Village Green was one of the first apartments I looked at online. The apartments were beautiful and the neighborhood had great reviews. It was the only apartment I applied for. I got the apartment and took a flight to Texas to sign my lease and get my keys. Dawn was one of the first faces I saw when I walked into the office. She greeted me with a smile and was very professional and pleasant. Every time I come into the office she’s very kind and personable. I found out today that she has a great sense of humor. Dawn is definitely an asset to Village Green.

Im giving five stars for great customer service in the office. I had the pleasure of meeting Dawn in the office when I stopped by to ask about available units. She was very friendly, professional, and concise with all the information. She put me on a wait list for the floor plan I want and also followed up with me a week later to see if Im still looking. I recommend asking for Dawn to answer any of your questions.

Sandy has been a breath of fresh air. She has hands down been the best manager that has been here and I’ve lived here since 2021. This year she has fixed so many of my issues and always willing to work with me and help me out. She is really the main reason I’m renewing my leaseAmenities could use an update. Rent is fair for the area. The office staff is good and maint comes out in a timely manner.

Rent is high everywhere but I found this price to be reasonable… they have been very supportive and maintenance has gotten a lot better… they could use a update on certain things and fixtures, over all a good move

Ok so I moved in Nov 2023, the process was not a difficult one at all. Everyone was very communicative and efficient with getting my applications approved. Jacquelin who is not with the company anymore ensured the unit was cleaned and she kept her word on sending me pictures via email once it was completed.I was advised that there were new management that took over because I asked about all of the specials they were promoting and why - Jacqueline provided a humane response so I said ok that’s a good response considering she was so new, the reason I had questions is because I read the reviews prior to and I was skeptical about all the rotating office team. Moving over to Rebecca who is the office manager my experience with her has been so excellent, she is patient and will explain anything you are having trouble understanding - all You have to do is call and talk with her. She doesn’t leave you on the hook or waiting forever.I have had no issues with the maintenance request I have put in 3 since November and the maintenance team has been on top of it ensuring that my requests are handled in a timely manner.The only complaint I have is all the fees (it’s so many fees it’s scary) especially with valet trash and they don’t even come the days they are supposed to , me and my kids take our trash to the dumpster most time so I truly feel that valet trash should be optional I shouldn’t pay for some that’s not consistent, also the clicker for the gate/gym I’ve been waiting on that since I moved in . It’s quiet in my building and I have no issues with my neighbors so I have had a pleasant experience so far. I waited to do my review because I wanted to get in and get a feel for the community and ensure I didn’t speak too soon on certain things I could have potentially seen . Overall I think with the new team they can only do so much at a time to get things back on track and they are doing the best they can from my experience. Unfortunately the slack from the previous team has no choice but to continue on until it’s fixed.

I really do love living here. The ladies at the front office are superstars. Very patient and willing to work with you as long as you communicate your needs to them. Im more than pleased with how they handled my situation specifically, and I’m excited to sign another years lease with them :) my apartment is super cozy, everything works minus some electrical sockets and little things that we didn’t think to check upon moving in, so definitely make sure everything works when y’all move in. For me the front offices customer service makes up for any minor inconveniences that go on throughout the year, and I’m so happy I live here :)

Lived here for 10 months now and the new management has things running smoother than ever. Theyre attentive to maintenance issues (even after having to get caught up because of previous management mishandling), much better at communicating with residents, and theyre just sweet people in general. Theyre always happy to see you when you come into the office and they actually take the time to listen to residents needs. Im still really glad I moved in here.

So disappointed payed over 2,000$ to move in my apt was dirty had to clean it myself my power would go out from 11pm to 1pm the next day my breakers were bad they never fixed them food spoiled another 200$ down the drain then now my a/c is not working I’m 2 weeks postpartum and having to deal with this and the amount I had to come out of pocket is nonsense it already looks like I would not be renewing my lease very disappointedEdit: everyday I wake up it’s a new issue it rains in my apt there are bugs and flys coming into my apt because the foundation is rotted the lights flicker all the time I pay almost 2,000$ for this many issues to not have been fixed before I moved in and still on going these apts are not even luxury for the price I pay everything should be new where is the money going? The only good thing is they 2nd chance smhEdit: the people in the office have always been respectful including maintence all of my issues have been resolved I still feel like my apartment is overpriced but these are 2nd chance apartments and I love the fact no one is above me or I’m not below anyoneEdit: the apartment complex don’t want the a/c below 72 but it’s extremely hot in these apts my rent was suppose to be 1500 yet I’m paying 2,000$ for rent with all of these extra fees so beware before renting the prices are nothing like the website when it rains it’s still raining in my apartment they came and worked on my door but the problem is not fixed I give up on even putting in work orders it’s pointless all this money I’m paying for rent and can’t even fix my door I will be calling corporate bbb and looking into getting a lawyer because you will be quick to be evicted but slow to fix any on going issues smh there should be no reason I’m paying this much for rentEdit: it rained the other day and there was no rain in my apt this time the door may be fixed fingers crossed I have noticed I would hear water coming from my sink and then sometimes there would be a leak not sure if it’s from washing dishes or if there is a leak I will keep an eye on it giving 4 stars for maintence & office staff is nice

The five stars goes to Maintenance. I’ve lived in the same apartment for 4 yrs had multiple changes in management. Some good others bad. I must say the property seems to go down hill and the tenants that they have allowed to move here have definitely changed, since I have lived here. There were more professional people vs the ones living here now. The grounds were well kept and there wasn’t dog droppings everywhere. But I must say that this maintenance company has been by far the best. Every time I put in a request it gets fixed right away. Mr. Jose and Danny are very responsible and knowledgeable of their work.

Great place to live. Lived here for 2 years. The office staff is amazing, always sweet and kind. I never had an issue with them. Jessica who is the manager is the best. It seem like she know everyone who lives there which is a good feeling. Also, she is willing to work with you on anything. The young lady who is tall (can’t remember her name) that sit at the front desk is always helpful. The maintenance staff is very fast. I really didn’t have maintenance issues but when I did, they were always quick to fix the issue. The pool area is a nice scene and the ppl who usually go to the pool are friendly. They have a gym that’s 24 hours and usually not crowded and the mail boxes are central. The property is clean and always well kept. No issues with security, always felt safe and they have cameras at the front gate to watch every car that comes in (yes they work I have seen them). As a result this is a wonderful place to live for a good price and nice look.

Apartments are well kept - grounds could use some work as there are dead areas but you can tell the maintenance works hard. I love this area and love calling this place home

We just moved into this complex last month in January, 2018. This is an older property, built in 1984. As such, we were not expecting perfection and entered into our agreement assuming wed find little problems here and there. Upon move in, we were a little overwhelmed with initial plumbing problems; leaking sink, guest bathroom no hot water, broken dishwasher, leaking washer hook-ups. Needless to say, we were highly concerned with our choice of residence.However, management demonstrated great care with our satisfaction and they quickly worked to resolve our issues. Im not sure why others on these reviews are complaining about maintenance - Ive actually been very impressed with them. They even went in and cleaned out our dryer line when we complained about the poor air flow causing longer dry times.In short, dont come into an older complex expecting perfection. However, you are well within your rights to expect prompt resolution to any problems that you uncover, and this complex has so far delivered. It is clear they care about the satisfaction and happiness of their residents. I do recommend this complex, but lost 1 star because you would think all plumbing should be checked before new resident moves into the unit.

I really think that Village Green is a nice place to live. Havent experienced any hidden fees--they make it pretty clear prior to move-in how their water billing works, what companies they work with for electric and internet, and that valet trash is a required fee. When I first moved in, there were a couple issues with/around our apartment (lights out, washer malfunction, etc.). I reported these issues, and the apartment got them taken care of. There were a few issues initially that I had to report twice to make sure they were taken care of, but I think that since then they may have changed employees because I havent had any other problems that needed to be reported more than once. They are, as a whole, a very responsive and attentive staff. I am very scared of big dogs and had a neighbor whos dog had gotten out and was barking and blocking the entrance to my apartment. I went to the office, and Megan (the staff member present that day) drove back to my apartment with me and kept the dog calm while I went into my apartment to get my things and then had the situation taken care of by the time I came back the next day. After that day, the dog has never been a concern again, because Megan went out of her way to reach out to the owner and let her know what had happened. The only negative thing I can think of right now is that sometimes the valet trash doesnt come the days I think its going to come, but weve kind of solved this issue by keeping a closed trash can on our step so that its not attracting flies when the trash isnt picked up. Also, sometimes outside lights go out and then it can be a little dark when youre walking inside, but these issues seem to get taken care of pretty quick (and if they dont, we just report them). Lastly, the apartment complex is gated, but sometimes the gates are open for maintenance or cars may follow other cars in, and the back of the complex is open to a trail, so just be aware of your surroundings when walking into your apartment and try not to get home very late, just to be safe. Havent had any issues personally, just something I try to do to be safe.

Had 2 toilets replaced the other day by Jose the maintenance guy. I’ve been here 8 years and in that time we never had a good maintenance crew till now! All the others would fix the problem half a$$ed. Jose goes above and beyond to make sure your repair is done right and will last. He put in my toilets and all the plumbing that went with it and cleaned up all the mess and even caulked spots in my bathrooms that needed caulking. Village Green is very lucky to have Jose. There’s not a lot of maintenance guys that care about the residents they take care of like him. He’s an asset to the company and should be compensated for all his hard work. Thank you Jose for all you do. 😊

We have lived here every since we moved to Texas from the north. The neighborhood/complex is quiet and clean. Everyone including Leasing Office staff is friendly and lively. Maintenance crew comes in quickly to fix anything we need with no issues. The pools and gym are well kept and always free of garbage etc. We will be sad to live for a house but are lucky to have found such a great apartment to get us started in Texas

We have lived in these apartments for the past few years and we never really cared for the previous management. As of today we see that the previous management of the apartments was very lackluster compared to the new ones. The new management have been very informative and helpful in every way they can. During the winter outage, the complex has kept everyone informed onto what was going on with weather and the affected utilities. They update us on any outages and when they will be approx. fixed. I am glad we have them here and will miss them when we finally move away.

After trying for months to get into these apartments (what I needed wasnt available), I went in on a whim one Friday morning. I was greeted with a beautiful smile and enthusiasm from Luis and the Floorplan I needed was actually available! Luis was super kind, attentive, informative and customer (resident) oriented. I was able to view the apartment and fell in love. After an hour of thoughts and prayers I called him back and asked if I could go forth with the application process. When I got back to the leasing office, it was super close to closing time... However, Luis still had that awesome smile and he took care of me, processing ALL my paperwork! I got my keys the next day! WOW! I know thats not always the case, so Im extremely grateful for his time and attention! He was pushing for me to get the apartment and not in a over bearing or exploiter manner!! I appreciated that!! The office manager, Evelyn, was equally amazing!! She was informative, and attentive to my questions. Kudos to you both and thank you! The Complex itself is being worked on and updated, however, its not a mess nor loud. Though Im not near the pool being worked on, LOL. They seem to keep up well with the overall appearance of the complex. My apartment upon arrival was Clean and ready for move in. Ive heard horror stories from other places so I was happy to walk into a clean space ready to be filled with boxes stuff and thangs. I look forward to the events they hold for residents and meeting my neighbors. All in all, if youre looking for an affordable, NICE, CLEAN and QUIET place to live... Dont sleep on these apartments. From spectacular customer service to great amenities, Im Happy to call Village Green my home! Now, if someone wants to help me unpack, thatd be WONDERFUL 🤣😉

Im a current resident of over a year. The only problem I have ever had is towing not being enforced, I pay for covered parking and often have to call the towing company myself to get my spot back, other than that, maintenance has always been friendly, Ive had the basic problems and Ive never waited more than 48 hours to have things fixed. The ladies in the office are helpful and even remember me and what apartment Im in. Once there was a leak and my down stairs neighbors bathroom was flooding, obviously this is an emergency, I was at work and management called me to let me know that they must access my apartment and she would be with them at all times. It is true that there are about $100 worth of hidden fees and the amp theater in the park is quite loud when its in use but luckily the park has closing hours so its quite at night, quit and friendly neighbors. Trash pick up is kinda a joke, my neighbors will have their trash out days, went to a week one time, we pay for this service thats not really available. I love that their pool, gym and laundry unit is 24/7 and when you get a package, its dropped off at the office if youre not home and they will call you after theyve had it a few days and I love their location, quite, little traffic and in a large park, the walls are well insulated so the planes from the airport are never a bother I will unfortunately be moving out next year because its just too expensive :(

Hello, im a new resident at this location. I had a few issues with the place, that happens from time to time. But what i would like to say is the maintenance person at this location who name is Jose!! goes out of his way to make things right the first time. Here is why!I had a issue with my ac and he tried many ways to get the issue resolved, and did not stop until my problem was solved, and he got it done!! Not just in a timely manner but the workmanship in his work is impressive.Thank you Jose!! Im glad to know there is someone that works hard and tries everything possible to get issues done working at this location!!

It seems like a lot of people had bad experiences with this place but Ive lived at numerous places before, and this is one of the best. The best part was the staff, they were amazing and 110% helpful for anything. I had a non-upgraded unit, and it was beautiful and great. I did not have a single problem. The only complaint I have is parking, but thats because people will be inviting they boyfriends/girlfriends over all the time. I had a great time here and if it werent for work, I wouldve resigned with them.

I have lived at this apartment complex for just over 2 years. Prior to LiveNJoy taking over as new management in 2021, I was not pleased with my living situation. Service requests would be ignored or repaired very slowly. LiveNJoy took on Village Green Apartments when it had a slew of issues. They have been awesome communicators regarding things such as the broken water heater and fixed it quickly. During the winter ice storm, everyone lost power and water. They gave updates frequently and even gave out free water. I am definitely pleased with how LiveNJoy has been managing this property. They are attentive to the residents’ concerns.

I’ve lived at Village Green for two years now and just renewed for another year. I love my apartment overlooking the Bear Creek Park from my sunroom. I’ve only needed maintenance to come out once for a key lock out and they responded quickly. Great place to live and close to work.

Pay your rent. Simple as that, I have never seen better management. Zariah and her team have helped way more than necessary despite the pandemic. As long as you handle your responsibilities like you should they will be here to help you through it all. Beautiful and courageous these guys are willing and promising. But they will kick you out if you try to play with them. An honest review from yours truly. 🥰😏P.S. I am seeing a lot of angry people on here, I personally have not had 1 NOT 1 single problem with the management.

I recently visited this location before I found out house. Had we not we would have definitely moved here. Jessica Hernandez was the person who showed us around the community! She was so sweet, knowledgeable and helpful! The community was very clean, quite and spacious. Would definitely recommend for future reference to those needing a good place to rent!

Why moving can be quite difficult specially if it’s from one city to another, starting a new job I blessed to get with Agent like Luis to assist with my transition. He was knowledgeable and caring. Sooo I’m not sure why my review didn’t post yesterday but Seria (I pray i spelled this right) is the Best! She goes over and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of! Her attitude is so professional. I just moved from Louisiana and she really made me feel welcome and loved! She definitely has a welcoming spirit and if I stay here she will definitely be the reason! Simply because it’s so hard to come in contact with people who care about the well-being of your life and even your kids life! I’m so happy I decided to move here!

We been residents here at the Village Green Of Bear Creek going on 6 years come this October 2019. I love it here so much. I would love to start by CONGRATULATING OUR BEAUTIFUL MS. JESSICA HINKLE. SHE HAS BEEN PROMOTED TO PROPERTY MANAGER. Long over due. Secondly lets welcome the 2nd power house Ms. Evelyn oh yes and another wonderful lady to be added to the team, Ms. Jessica and her team have been amazing to us. The maintenance crew on point as well. New additions have been upgraded to the pool areas too. The apartments are beautiful. The appliances are just so pretty and I love the hardwood flooring in the kitchen and bathroom !!!! The maintenance team are on point and very friendly too !!! They even have a doggie park on property too !!!! The pools are so relaxing and they always maintained it through out the summer !!!! There is a park behind our complex ... easy for bike ridding or jogging or just a beautiful walk with your loved ones or even go out for a bike ride !!! The neighbors are awesome too !!! I would recommend VILLAGE GREEN APARTMENTS ON BEAR CREEK to all my family and friends !!!! Major highways near are 183 , 121 , and 360. The DFW airport no more than 10 minutes awasy We even signed up and renewed our lease for one more year !!!! We love it here !!! The upgrades are amazing. Gated property i love that. Come check us OUT!!!Kroger , Albertsons , Auto zone, Cleaners , Nail Salons, Child Care and much more. Walmart and new Specs Liquor store just opened around the corner right off 360. Love this community.. it is the perfect location, literally near everything. The maintenance staff is amazing. When I moved in to the property at the begging of the month I met the whole staff they are incredibly awesome , the company prior to live n joy management, they were not charging rent on the right dates once the new company switched over they have been nothing but nice they explained the process in how the bills are coming in and how we are so back dated due to the last company, with live n joy they have explained and showed me 101 all my payments everything looks great I’m going to renew for 18 months again because the rates are incredibly good the pool view the trail in the back the dog park the stores near the complex. During the storm i was flooded and affected but never the less people in other units were freaking out as if they could not do anything about there living situation it was very funny on the other hand I was able to warm up water and shower i bought food and water at Walmart to survive restoration company helped me out so well and only came in with my permission when I was home , very nice property check them out I encorrale you to come apply and take a look for yourself . :) THANKS SO MUCH VILLAGE GREEN 🙂
