I would come here often to visit my girlfriend and the place is wonderful! The area made it really easy to commute around the downtown area!I even recall the moving day for my girlfriend and it was a smooth and simple process with the help of Elena. Ms. Del Toro has always been quick to help with my girlfriend’s need and I’m sad to say we moved away for job opportunities. I recommend getting in touch with Elena if you ever are in need of information!

The grounds are always well-maintained, and the staff is friendly.A huge thank you to Elena for her exceptional help in renewing my lease. She made the process so smooth and stress-free, I look forward to another great year here

The leasing office staff was very kind. I got a tour from Stefany R., and you could tell she really cares about her residents. She made me feel welcomed and excited about living in the Riverside area. I ended up finding a cheaper complex, but will be considering going back to Village at the end of my lease!

I have been working on an issue with the old management at this apartment.Elena Del Toro who is the leasing officer has been super helpful and went above and beyond to help us with our issue and cannot recommend her service more. Super nice customer service from her.

Place is nice and quiet than other complexes around here. Leasing are helpful about your problems especially Stefany she is the best. She always helps me out about my stuff.

  • Review 8 (2025-02-18 - Rating: 5)

Good rent prices, usually they are pretty quick to respond with service requests, and management isnt overbearing on the tenants in my experience.

Had a lovely tour of the property with Elena. Did not end up leasing here due to a change of plans, but will consider living here if life takes me back to the area in the future!

  • Review 12 (2025-01-15 - Rating: 5)

I have posted several reviews during my time here at Village East Riverside and I wanted to give a bit more in sight to this community and my opinion. I have been a resident for almost 2 years, what started out great for almost the first year turned sour but I am happy to say the sun shines bright on the Village. I specifically wanted to mention the property manager Elena Del Toro, she is leaps and bounds a stronger and confident manager for this community. She has shown compassion and kindness to both my roommate and myself. It refreshing to know that with everything we all have going on day to day, month to month, that with a listening ear and kind heart anything is possible. I can only imagine how full her plate is on a daily basis and going into the office greeted by her and then asked to please have seat in her office, she gave me her undivided attention and professional knowledge to ease my concern and allow me to relax and not stress the little stuff. Thank you Elena and the entire Village staff. I would recommend this community to anyone, my plan is to renew my lease and continue on with the Village. Be Kind to One Another and always remember kindness if free.

  • Review 18 (2023-11-15 - Rating: 5)

I was unsure on whether or not to give Villages at East Riverside a try and I am so glad I did! It can be difficult to find apartment buildings who genuinely care for their residents, but this team of people is the attentive, kind and good at what they do. Sam, the manager, was eager to answer any questions I had about the property, and quick to respond when I reached out. I toured a unit with Jimmy, who was extremely professional, and personable. The property has great amenities for the price too. I will definitely be recommending to friends considering moving to Austin.

  • Review 19 (2024-07-26 - Rating: 5)

I have consistently experienced the best residential support services of my life with Hilltop Property Management. The staff are friendly and helpful… Anytime I have submitted a maintenance request I have received a prompt response. Whether it was changing light bulbs, replacing/removing furniture, or servicing the plumbing and electricity, maintenance quickly and thoroughly ensured that I have an optimal living environment. I intend to continue renting from Hilltop for the remainder of my time living in an apartment, and I strongly recommend their properties to all of the incoming families in the Austin area. In some ways, your property management company can make or break your living experience and with Hilltop, it’s all in the service. I couldn’t be happier!

There are not enough words to explain how much I am impressed with this property. I never leave reviews, but my experience was top notch. When I call, they always answer the phone and always in a great mood. The process to get approved was super simple and easy. I was on the market for a place for 2 months and did not expect to find a place until I met Jennifer. Jennifer, you deserve a raise lol. She was so sweet warm welcoming!! I am referring all my friends and family right now!!! I hope everyone has experience like me. Jennifer your awesome!

  • Review 28 (2018-07-11 - Rating: 5)

I have greatly enjoyed living here over the past year, and I have renewed my lease for another year here. The rent is reasonable for the downtown Austin area, and the apartments are very spacious. The staff is great to work with as well. I have had a few maintenance problems over the past year, and the staff was always quick to address and fix the issue. My apartment flooded due to a pipe busting above us, but the maintenance manager was sure to get things fixed properly. I also love the pool area it is awesome, and the new furniture is great! Another huge plus is that the rate of rent includes my furniture, electricity, water, cable, and internet!!! I love it here at UV, and will be sad to leave when I graduate next year!

  • Review 29 (2024-09-05 - Rating: 5)

It ain’t much, but it’s honest living. Maintenance guy always helps out if we need anything fixed. It’s safe and mostly quiet.

  • Review 30 (2018-06-11 - Rating: 5)

This is a great place to live at as a college student. Really quiet no problems with neighbors. Awesome amenities, such as the gym, clubhouse, and pool. Staff is friendly. Love that they’re always having events for their residents, especially the food events . You know, we are mostly college students and we are sometimes broke so free food is always great. I love how spacious the apartments are. I am a big fan of having a big space in my room, its the best. I would suggest to get the highest quality floor plan. It is really nice and most of those apartments are located at the front. Maintenance is quick and effective. I would also suggest to get reserved parking instead of regular because people are not nice with cars just a heads up. Other than that it is an amazing place to live at and I would totally recommend it.

  • Review 31 (2021-09-09 - Rating: 4)

The apartment is very nice and perfect for college students. Ours is newly remodeled and therefore, looks very modern and nice. Our only complaint is that weve lived in the apartment for three weeks and have had to call the maintenance man two times already due to some appliances breaking. However, still a very nice place to live and a very affordable price.

  • Review 32 (2022-01-20 - Rating: 4)

Been here for 4 months now. Best price for housing in Austin by far, Maintenance is awesome and fast and floor plans are really nice; mostly college kids with a few older people. Security is by far the biggest weakness; This apartment is surrounded by homeless and Village is not liable for your safety. Sometimes hear gunshots at night. Had my unit broken into during my sleep since my roommate left his window unlocked. Thankfully the staff is having me move units. Just be careful in the area.UPDATE: Now been here for 10 months, Staff moved me to a different unit, there is a cockroach problem and maintenance has done a piss-poor job of fixing it.

  • Review 33 (2022-06-08 - Rating: 5)

Village at East Riverside is amazing! This is the first complex I have ever lived in and, if I wasnt moving out of Austin, I would never want to leave. The staff are always so friendly, and handle questions quickly. I have only had a few maintenance issues, but they were also taken care of in a timely manner. The amenities are very convenient and well-maintained. I also love how close the community is to downtown.

  • Review 34 (2020-12-09 - Rating: 5)

After a horrible experience with another leasing office, I had the pleasure of working with Maria, the senior leasing consultant at University Village. She responded quickly to my emails and helped me get set up with an apartment almost immediately. The whole process went very smoothly and without any problems. I had leased here before and enjoyed the amenities, pool, and staff.

  • Review 35 (2018-06-11 - Rating: 4)

As a college student, this has been my favorite place to live because of the atmosphere and community. Its a gated community that actually does events for the residents. The staff is lovely and accommodating. The maintenance work orders are usually filled pretty quickly. I only had an issue with work orders at the beginning of the lease term because of there being a high demand. Regardless, I would recommend this apartment complex to others. I am personally moving because of a job opportunity, but if I was a student still I would have renewed my lease.

  • Review 36 (2022-02-24 - Rating: 5)

The staff is amazing! These are great apartments with great perks such as internet & cable, washer & dryer and so much more in the unit in a great area. They are a bit older and that brings some issues, but the maintenance and office staff are always friendly and quick to respond to such issues. The property manager Toryn is quick to respond to emails with issues and hell make sure one of his team members will come out to your apartment and take care of it. Toryn will also make sure he personally follows up with you and that to me shows great leadership and care. His team is amazing and they care. I absolutely love my time here and will always recommend it to others.

  • Review 37 (2020-09-05 - Rating: 5)

I’ve been staying in these apartments for a while now and honestly have no reason to leave. A big reason for that is the amazing experience I get from the staff, especially the property manager Toryn. He goes out and beyond to make sure your needs are met. If there is a problem, he will make sure that it is handled. Very cool and easy to talk to. Other than that, they continue to upgrade the complex, host the coolest events, and offer plenty of freebies! I enjoyed that free dozen of Tiff Treats btw, thanks guys

  • Review 38 (2023-02-24 - Rating: 5)

Just viewed these apartments and just fell in love with them. The pool is amazing and super excited to use the basketball court. Kasey was super friendly and informative. I am moving from out of state and really made me super excited to move to this super clean community.

  • Review 39 (2018-01-16 - Rating: 4)

I lived here in the Spring of 2017 while completing an internship.First, I have to say that the leasing manager was by far the friendliest I came across during my brief time in Austin. He was the only one willing to work with me financially until I began getting paid. For that, I am eternally grateful. As far as the property goes, I lived in an upgraded room at the front of the property and never had any serious issues. Maintenance requests were usually handled fairly quickly. There was one incident when someone came out to snake my drain and told me that I could do it myself next time. That made me laugh at the time since that is, indeed, what he was being paid to do. Other than that, the maintenance was fine. The gym was small but served as a good way to get in a quick run when I didnt have time to make it to the gym at which I had a membership. It is a gated community, but that doesnt mean much when it comes to complexes serving primarily students. I paid just over $600/month, all inclusive. This just cant be beat in this area. It was close to stores and restaurants and only 20 minutes or so from the capitol (assuming you leave before 8am).The pool was rarely open. There were many, many days in the middle of the summer when the pool wasnt open. This is my biggest complaint with this complex. The office staff was pretty standard. Mainly college kids who honestly didnt put customer service first. However, Maria was amazing. She handled all of my paperwork and was very patient with me while I scrambled to submit all of my documents and get everything in order for a mid-school year move. I cant commend her enough. In conclusion, the property itself was pretty standard. The office staff was just okay with the exception of Maria. The leasing manager was a pleasure to work with. All in all, Id recommend this property and would sign here again if I found myself back in Austin for a few months.

Elena is the sweetest person ever. She gave the best tour and her professionalism is amazing. This property is beautiful- the gym is a must-see! She even told me about how they have this team on-site that throws FREE events for their residents to attend. Love that!

Renewed my lease recently on a transfer.Affordable rents for Austin/location near trails (.5 miles away)Leasing manager was the best - great guy!Room could have used a new carpet - suspect sub carpet is old and emits an old odor.Place is safe for the most part. Carful if youre leased an apartment towards the back of the property.Overall amenities are great!4/5

Good place to live. Elena is always super helpful!

  • Review 43 (2023-02-27 - Rating: 5)

Elena has been incredibly helpful. Shes the only mutli-family employee who has ever followed up with me; we had a lot of questions but she was so patient and made sure to provide all the details I needed. The study rooms were a stand out feature for us. We had the best experience with this team!

  • Review 44 (2015-05-09 - Rating: 4)

Its been super cool living here! I renewed my lease for another year and would definitely recommend this place to others! Staff is pretty friendly and the apartments are really spacious. There are social events occasionally that are pretty enjoyable too and there is always free food, which is great for college students of course.

  • Review 45 (2018-06-11 - Rating: 5)

I have been living here since my freshman year of college, and may I say, I’ve enjoyed my time here! The staff is super friendly and willing to help to their best of their abilities. Shout out to Amanda! She’s been a friendly face that always like to make sure her residents are taken care of. As for the apartment itself, I highly recommend going for the upgraded unit. It is worth the extra per month. Thanks guys for all that you do for us UV residents! PS: love all of the events held throughout the year

  • Review 46 (2018-10-22 - Rating: 4)

I lived here for two years and I honestly can say that it wasnt a bad experience at all. When I first was looking for a place in Austin to live, I wasnt a big fan of being far away from campus. I wanted the convenience that came with waking up and being a 5-10 minute walk away from my classes, but I think that living here for my first two years was one of the best choices that I could have ever made. I had one of the more costy floor plans, but it was well worth the money because we very rarely had any issues with our apartment unit. The reviews for this place were pretty tanked when I was scouting for apartments saying that management was bad, maintenance wasnt quick, ect but I never had any of those problems. Our leasing contact/management contact was super caring and efficient by listening to all of our problems and helping us settle them right away. I dont think that I ever had any issues with management. I also think maintenance was super quick to our beck-and-call as well. Our unit did have some issues with plumbing and AC/heater but it was fixed pretty quickly. The only issue I had which is why I docked a star is that I dont think the maintenance people are licensed or too qualified for some of the jobs that they have to take on. When fixing our heater, the maintenance guy torched our wall so we had burn marks on it afterwards. Bugs were never too big of an issue here either. We had the occasional roaches, maybe like once a month or so but thats way better than some other places that I have lived so it was just something I had to suck up and deal with. The higher up you are, the less likely you are to have roaches however and if you spray home-defense and leave bait continuously then it really wont be a problem. Lastly, another reason I docked a star was that during my two years living there the gate was broken more often than it worked so I wouldnt really call this place a gated community. The gym also isnt super popping!

Cat, always has a great disposition about herself every time I see her.

  • Review 48 (2019-10-30 - Rating: 4)

I’ve been living here for 3 years now and honestly everything has been great. Maintenance always come quickly to fix any problems with your apartment and staff are very friendly. The only thing is rent keeps increasing every year which I don’t really appreciate because as a student I’m always on a budget and it’s hard to keep up with. Besides that everything else is really great.

  • Review 49 (2023-02-28 - Rating: 5)

Sam was great! She took the time to show me and my grand daughter around the community and point out the pool area ( which was beautiful), the gym, volleyball courts. They even had a coffee machine for the residents to use!

  • Review 50 (2023-02-27 - Rating: 5)

I went on tour with Sam and had a tremendous experience. The whole office was super nice and concerning. I definitely felt a very warm welcome. I would recommend everyone to rent here. I went on fours tours prior, and they all were unsatisfactory. Until I came here!! Wonderful experience THANKS AGAIN!!

  • Review 51 (2016-11-01 - Rating: 4)

These apartments help a lot with all the events they have to help you get out and meet new people. For the most part it is a nice place to live everyone is very sweet and willing to help. The only flaw is maintenance takes a little bit to do anything but I havent had to many problems to have to call them. Overall its a great place for your first apartment!

  • Review 52 (2025-01-15 - Rating: 5)

Great customer service! Stefany was vey friendly and helpful.

  • Review 53 (2020-05-19 - Rating: 5)

I love living here and how close it is to downtown, lady bird lake, and walking trails. The pool simply amazing, the staff is very involved an is always trying to make your living experience special. 10/10 recommend living here. The only thing i wish was different about living here would be having screens on the windows.

  • Review 54 (2018-06-13 - Rating: 5)

I lived here for over a year and loved it! The management was always friendly and willing to help out. The amenities were always clean and the gym was constantly getting new equipment. Although I had to take the bus to go to the UT campus, it was a nice break from the craziness of downtown austin. The rooms and closets were big, something that I couldnt expect in west campus without paying an arm and a leg. Even though I no longer live there, I still enjoy being part of the marketing team at the property!

  • Review 55 (2018-06-11 - Rating: 5)

I lived here from 2017-2018. This was my first experience with living at an apartment, and it was wonderful! I lived at a newer unit closer to the entrance and the interior was very nice and very clean. The kitchen had gorgeous dark wood cabinets and marble countertops and there was wood flooring throughout the living area of the unit. Upon moving in, my only complaint was that there was a dark stain in my tub from trash that even the complexs cleaning crew could not remove, but it wasnt that huge of an issue for me.I will definitely say that the maintenance team at UV is very prompt with fixing your work order requests. I applaud UV for being so responsive to their tenants. Sometimes they would come and not fix the issue for some reason or another, but it wasnt that big of a problem because I knew I could just send in another work order request and explain in more detail exactly what was wrong. The maintenance guys are also very friendly! It seems like the staff at University Village appreciate their residents because theyre always having some weekly prize drawing or small treats for residents in the office. The pool is nice (although I never used it) and the small complex gym definitely does get the job done. Theres also a business center if you need to use the computer or print anything. Although I decided to move onto a different apartment, I will always have fond memories of my time at UV. You definitely cant beat the cheap rent (10 mins from downtown! & tons of nice places to eat around the area) and the free included parking! Pro tip - if you plan on living here and know youll be coming home at odd hours of the night, invest in a reserved parking spot. Trust me the $15 is worth it. :-) also if youre a UT student the 670 shuttle is NOT that bad! Compared to driving and commuting, I definitely preferred shuttling to campus and not having to deal with driving in traffic & parking.

  • Review 56 (2018-08-16 - Rating: 5)

I was an international student staying at UV. Had several doubts about the place upon reading the reviews, but still went ahead for it and I loved it. The place is extremely quiet and peaceful. Located next to a golf course, you may have a great vista from your balcony depending upon which building you get. Office is more so swift in responding to the maintenance requests. Plenty of amenities like pool, basketball and volleyball courts, gym and lobby for some fun time. The lobby area however remains open only during the office hours, which is a downside. They often conduct events like grocery bingo, poolside hotdogs for you to have some cool interactions with the people in the community.

  • Review 57 (2025-02-09 - Rating: 5)

Cat is awesome and assisted me with all my questions.

  • Review 58 (2020-02-12 - Rating: 5)

Love the give away and the engagement that the company has with its residents. Makes the college experience more bearable! The amenities are also good and location isnt too bad. Im able to get away from the stress atmosphere that campus hold by coming to a home and not to a dorm.

  • Review 59 (2018-06-11 - Rating: 4)

Great place to be at if youre looking for apartments around $600, and away from the craziness that is West Campus. Spacious room, amenities are good, no issues with staff or maintenance, and my roommates are nice and respectful. Theres so many free events/food so the community is pretty active. I live in a regular apartment (not platinum) but they upgraded our crappy kitchen appliances to really nice ones, free of charge, which was so awesome. Some of my complaints come from my gross neighbors who left stinky trash out for weeks by their front door. Or loud visitors yelling and being belligerent drunk on Saturday nights (had to call the police at one point since I needed to sleep). But I understand some of these things are kind of expected with college apartments generally. My Wi-Fi acts up or gets slow at times.Ive been here for 2 years and Im moving out since I graduated and because Downtown traffic is insane. But I recommend this place if youre okay with the occasional college party!

  • Review 60 (2019-08-04 - Rating: 4)

I think overall University Village is great. There’s lots of events the complex puts on and the amenities are nice! However, my number one complaint it the maintenance. Almost every time I put in a work-order it takes 2-3 times for the problem to actually be fixed. Even if it’s a serious problem such as the smoke detector. I had to put in a work-order for it 3 times before it got the batteries changed. Obviously this is a huge safety hazard. The maintenance workers are very nice though and I trust them in my house.

  • Review 62 (2019-03-07 - Rating: 4)

I enjoyed living here, and thought the staff and facilities were nice, except I hate their roommate matching system. I asked for people who arent clean freaks, and enjoy going out but I mostly got nerdy af clean freaks. I think they just give you random roommates.I also really liked how it was fairly easy to get out of lease (just pay 85% of months rent)

  • Review 63 (2020-07-27 - Rating: 4)

It was a good experience initially moving to Austin from across the country. I lived here for 3 years. Having no car for the first two years, the proximity to the shopping centers such as a grocery store, GNC etc; was very convenient and also the public transportation routes were near by (~1 mile). Not only that, but the proximity to Lady Bird Lake was also a huge plus, via the hike and bike trails towards the back of the complex. The maintenance requests were also taken care of by the staff in a timely manner. The only downside was the fact that you might get stuck with crumby housemates, since depending on your floor plan, you may live with 3 other strangers. Getting out of the lease is also significantly challenging in of itself and my car did get broken into; but after notifying the management team the security presence was significantly increased and there were no further incidents of vandalism. Id say give them a shot if your young and new to Austin.

  • Review 64 (2018-06-18 - Rating: 4)

I have lived at UVA for almost a year now and I am fairly pleased with my experience so far. It is a pretty good deal price-wise, especially as a student, and has far more accommodations than other living options with a similar price range. That said, you get what you pay for lol. Its a basic cheap apartment, and some of the neighbors are loud or trashy. Despite all this, its nice to have my own room, a living space, kitchen, and in-unit washer/dryer rather than live in a dorm or super expensive West Campus apartment. I have to request repairs pretty often, but the maintenance is usually very quick to take care of it and the management staff is super helpful and friendly. Altogether, I have had a positive experience and have re-leased for another year!

  • Review 65 (2020-10-20 - Rating: 4)

Decent apartment, location with UT shuttle route is extremely convenient for UT students. Price for your own private bedroom & bathroom is the best you can get in Austin. Riverside is unfortunately not a super great area, homeless people surround the H-E-B. Staff tend to be residents & college students and are sometimes pains to deal with. Maintenance works very quickly. Roommate matching service is also a plus.

9/10 would recommend. I’ve been living at this complex for 3 years now and I have never had any issues with the management or maintenance. There has been one or two times where I had to submit a couple of maintenance requests for the same issue but it got fixed within a week. Ammenities are great, a lot of events and activities lined up and well organized on a biweekly basis or something around that nature. For the location: UT Shuttles are life savers, they will get you to campus in less than 20 minutes depending on the day and time. Some people don’t like Riverside demographics, but it’s mostly college students, everyone is friendly and it is safe. I just wish the area was closer to campus but for the price and my own room I can’t complain.

LIVE HEREEEEEE! Honestly I can’t think of a single thing wrong with this apartment complex. Something that really caught my eye was that you get a bathroom in your own bedroom which is really spacious to begin with compared to places in the area that are much more expensive for a smaller square footage and the price is reasonable. Flat rate!!! So yes, that means utilities included. The front office staff always greets you and attends to your needs literally the second you walk in its great! Another thing I love is the various different types of events, socials and just activities overall that they constantly have going on throughout the month. Makes this place not only a great place to live but a great way to meet new people too! :))))))

Cons: When I first signed up they messed up and I had to go back and sign some papers.I was charged $40 for the bathroom even tho it was pretty clean. It wasnt perfect. The basketball goal is crappy and theres no lines on the court. Such an easy fix.If you get three random roommates, good luck ;)Like every apartment ever made, noise is a problem, luckily the bathroom fan drowns out some of the sound you dont want to hear or the sound you dont want others to hear.Pros: the maintenance crew was great. very quick to respond. There was only a couple of minor issues and they fixed them quickly.Location: Borders a nice disc golf course you can get to by going thru a hole in the fence. Also next to a golf course. You can see the skyline from hole 17 on the disc course. One of the best parts of this apartment is you can use the gym and pool of the apt next door. The owner told this to me personally, (he owns both)The apartment next door has a better pool and basketball court and probably a better gym.Social: Both apartments have pretty cool parties with very generous prizes. Just bring your own tequila, especially if they have the margarita machine.

I have been living here for a year and a half now and I signed a lease to be here for another year. I me my wonderful close friend through random room assignment and my living situation has bloomed into a beautiful, comfortable time. All of our appliances work and if there is a problem we put in a work order. Sure, it doesnt happen right away if it isnt important or dangerous but they always eventually come through. Event been over charged ridiculously. People dont bother us and we have no stories involving crime or feeling unsafe. I recommend it to students who enjoy having some space and are also easygoing! Shout out to Jerry, u da bomb

I quite enjoy living here! the amenities are excellent, you can pay rent through an online portal, they have events with free food, and when i had a request for my toilet making screaming noises, they fixed it within 2 days! really hope the rest of my time living here stays great!

This will be my 4th year living here at UVAustin, and I honestly couldn’t recommend a better place for students to live. The rent, although it has been going up, is still a much better alternative to other student housing, especially for all the bonuses you get, like the amenities, free parking, community events and of course the friendly staff. Not to mention the size of each individual room is the most spacious I found in my search for student housing, especially the walk-in closet.. Although sometimes there are issues with getting service requests done on time, it really wasn’t that much of a problem. The selling point for me was also a UT Austin bus route stop right outside the complex, which made t incredibly easy to get to and from school without the use of a car. Besides that, it’s a quiet place for the most part and I haven’t had any real issues since I started living here.

I have been living on this property for three years (going on four). I continue to love the events posted monthly for all the residents to take part in. Whether its free food, grocery bingos, or supporting students with helpful events for their future. The staff is always doing their best to help out the residents, even despite the difficulty with quarantine.

I love living at UV... its pretty quiet. It has great features like the pool & the weight room. Plenty of living space and a walk in closet! The only downfall Id say is if you plan on taking the bus to UT from here, you may have quite a walk to the bus stop.

I’m in my 5th year living here now. Although I feel I’m paying a bit too much at this point, I blame Austin over UVA. The complex is kept clean and landscapers are here 1-2 times a week. Everyone in the office is pleasant. Please understand if you decide to move here that the residents are predominantly college people; there are parties often, your roommates probably haven’t learned to be responsible with cleaning/chores, and you have no magical power to change any of that. As far as student living goes, this complex tops the others in the area. They hold little events for us often, including breakfast/lunch in the office, bingo to win bags of groceries, yoga and fitness classes, and pool parties in the summer. I have no complaints about anything within University Village’s realm of control.

Really enjoy living here, affordable rents, great service from the office, maintenance has been excellent for us, timely and efficient. The amenities are kept up, renovations all over. Our fellow residents are a diverse group of very friendly people. I truly appreciate being here.

Very friendly staff, was a bit confusing with the financial aid not being available straight away with moving in. However the staff got everything corrected and its all good now. My room was clean, my room mates friendly. Also my dog seems to enjoy it here as well!

I want to thank you for you kind attention, and I also want to thank the various staff members that have attended my enquiries, claims and complaints over the last three years. I also want to thank the maintenance staff who always resolved every problem promptly and to the best of their ability. University Village has been my home for the last three years and as such it has been an important part of my life and I thank all the people involved for their patience and kind attention.

Friendly staff, quick to fix any issues and has great amenities! Our neighbors are pretty friendly and nice people, too. Parking is never hassle which for me is a plus because this was a big issue for me where I used to live before. Would really recommend living here :)

It was so good to stay in Uv for 9 months. It is very quiet, safe, clean and close to downtown. I felt like home. There is 2 issues which I didn’t like; 1- Pool door is locked after 10 pm so you gotta jump from outside ;D I mean I respect your rules but still, most of the people are young so they wanna swim or chill after 10 pm.2- I paid over than 1300 as a deposit and they’re telling that there is only one way to give deposit back by check. Dude, this is ridiculous. You guys letting us pay online by bank acc or credit card etc and you’re sending my money back by check (hopefully soon) and you don’t even understand or respect if i left country or not able to receive my check back cuz it takes around 2 months! Please, please do something useful. Other than that, everything was quite good. I wanna mention Kira’s name cuz she was always friendly and helpful. Also maintenance guys was always smiling and fixing problems just like they’re fixing their own problems. Thank you guys!

The complex is maintained really well, I really enjoy the pool and reading a book on one of the many chairs. I wish I could attend more events. Things seem to break a lot in the apartment but maintenance comes within a few days to fix it.

  • Review 82 (2019-10-15 - Rating: 4)

Everything has been great so far! The community is moderate. My apartment is fine beside pant splatters and a broken lock that has yet to be fixed. Once those things are fixed, everything would be perfect.

I have lived here the last year for the whole school year 2016-2017. I can say that if I had the chance to decide between places to live, Id choose UVA again. I mean what else do you want? Regardless of the many comments, the management and the staff showed a professional work. The move-in, cleaning of the room, quick responses to maintenance, and easy checkout procedure. All these matters were eased up for residents.Perks with living at the UVA are uncountable; almost monthly events, the gym, the pool, and the bus stop that have buses special for campus travels and on weekends, entertainment busses work till 3 am.I am rating them 4 out of 5 stars just because I ended up with a dirty roommate and the matching up process was unacceptable.Overall, Ive enjoyed my stay and Id do it again if I got the chance.

  • Review 84 (2015-03-31 - Rating: 4)

Quiet but active community. Wish the gym was 24 hours and the business center had printers. Property does not have a drop box for rent, so if the office is closed when you get home, you have to wait to pay the next day or set up an online account to pay online.

  • Review 85 (2018-01-18 - Rating: 5)

Good place to live, with affordable prices. Also, the resident events that they have are awesome. They are always giving away free things. Depending on which floor you live on, the noise from those above you is a little loud, and the walls are thin to where you can hear everything outside.

  • Review 86 (2018-06-15 - Rating: 5)

UV was amazing for the 2 years i lived there. The maintence was nice and did their best to complete all issues within 2 days, and the front office people were always nice and helpful when i had questions, the apt os nice and spacious including a big closet and big restroom, cable was included which is nice and living jere was great.

Heres my thoughts after living here for 3years:First things first Ive lived in Austin my whole life so I know which areas make getting to campus a pain and which areas are commutable. Lets be real, Riverside isnt Circle C or Tarry Town but it is very close to downtown Austin and reasonably close to campus. The bus route and the complex really helped make my decision to move to a apartment complex in the Riverside area. I wont lie and say Riverside will compete with West Campus and if my parents paid for my rent thats exactly where I would be... but they dont so this was my second option. All in all I give this place the benefit of the doubt because it still had the college feel even if half these kids didnt go to the University of Texas the vibe was still close to a true student living apartment complex. The Bad-Sometimes this place can be a little rowdy if you have a heavy set class load, however if you can manage your classes this could be a plus.-My buddy/roommate did have his car broken into and his radio and iPod stolen.-We also had a problem with our dryer, it took several times to dry our clothes. I lived with 3 other guys so it wasnt a big deal until my GF started complaining about it when she would stay over and thats when we informed the complex and after about a week and a half we got a new one.So if you are looking for something cheap and close to school I say, go for it just be smart about your belongings and invest in some ear buds when you have to study or sleep.
