This place feels like living in a luxury resort! The common areas are amazing, and the pool during the summer is the absolute best. Overall, the facilities are great, safe, and peaceful. The management team is always attentive to our needs, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The maintenance crew always has a great attitude and is incredibly quick to fix any issues.The Luxer locker system for deliveries is a game changer—I’ve never had a single problem with package theft. Plus, the free coffee at the leasing office is such a thoughtful touch! This month is my birthday, and I was so surprised to find a lovely card on my door wishing me a Happy New Year and Happy Birthday, along with some cookies (which didn’t last long!).While it’s not all perfect—some neighbors don’t pick up after their pets or follow valet trash schedules, which can make certain areas look messy—I have to say that the management does an amazing job keeping everything clean and beautiful.

Love love love the pool! It looks like a mini vacation. Its so clear and inviting. The staff was so friendly and helpful with anything I needed. They even walked me through the application process. What a slice of paradise! Wouldnt want to live anywhere else.

Application and move in process was simple. Perfect amount of space and set up for my small family. Maintenance has helped and fixed anything I have brought to the offices attention. The pool is beautiful. Cant wait to use it once the weather warms up again. The workout facility does not have fully working utilities. There are 3 treadmills and only one of them works. Wish neighbors were more responsible and pick up their dog poop so my kids could play outside without having to worry about the poop.

Verandas is a nice location. Maintenance has been a bit slow but they eventually come around. The area is quiet, the staff is friendly, the noise level is surprisingly nill or (zero), family friendly (theres a bus stop. Overall, I like the place.

She was incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming throughout the entire process, making me feel confident in potentially calling this place home. The apartments themselves are beautiful and well-maintained, with a great community feel. While we haven’t moved in just yet, I can already tell this will be a true home away from home for us. I’m looking forward to joining this wonderful community in the near future!

Almost three years here. Pretty chilled and quiet . Kids love the pool which is a life saver during the summer, don’t have to pay 60 for a sea world pass. The crew up front are helpful and friendly to my family and I . Loving the food trucks that the front people set up at times. This is our home and we are very happy here

I am so shocked at all the negative reviews . I’m in the middle of my second lease and I love it here . I have nice neighbors the staff are amazing from the front office maintenance. I loved working at this property, the location is great, extremely reasonably priced and the maintenance team, Big Willie and Jairo take pride in their job of maintaining the property. I am going to miss my regular residents, especially the ones that would bring in snacks and let us pet their dogs and took time out of their day to sit and share their day with us. Ronald, the new property manager fit right in, I’m so happy we were able to find the perfect replacement for me, I know Verandas At Shavano Park is in good hands.

Honestly I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place. Ive been here for 4 months now I believe (maybe 3) and it has been nothing but amazing. From the time I first met the leasing staff they have always been so sweet and welcoming. They made the entire move in process so easy! Ive seen reviews that walls are paper thin but honestly Ive never heard anything. Im pool side and people will be out having a great time in the pool playing music and enjoying their day and I sit right next to my patio door when I watch TV and I hear absolutely nothing. Of course occasionally Ill hear the upstairs neighbor walking around or moving a chair but thats absolutely to be expected, its never been an issue. The valet trash makes life so easy! Anytime Ive had a maintenance issue its fixed soooooo fast I love it! Had to have one small fix the day I was moving in and the maintenance guy was already there fixing it before I even made it back from the office!! Everyone is so nice theres pets everywhere so my girl gets to see other dogs during the day when we go out. The dog parks are so nice to have also so I can take her out and let her off leash to run around and play. This community is awesome!

Extremely satisfied with everything having to do with Verandas at Shavano. Beginning with the top, Tanya the leasing manager was very helpful when it came to us moving in. Everything was explained and all questions were answered. Upon move in there was a little issue involving the oven not heating up but due to the great maintenance team it was taken care of the same day. Every time Ive called the office for any question I may have the team has been very friendly and helpful. My family and I have been extremely happy here from day one. We had gone back to our old apt to get the last of our items and my 4 year old began to cry because he thought we were going back. He wanted to go back to the new house. The grounds are always clean and well kept, the neighbors are awesome too. Had a neighbor come by the week we moved in to introduce himself and welcome us in. Everything is just so perfect at the moment. I work from home so Im almost always here and I have no complaints. If youre thinking about moving in stop it... dont think about it and like Nike Just DO It, you wont regret it.Out of 5 stars:Grounds Cleanliness- 5Safety- 5noise- 5 (quiet neighbors)Staff- 5Feels like home- 5

As a first time renter I wasn’t sure what to expect, but overall I had a great time here. Review is for the 1BR. I would definitely recommend!Pros:- The unit is spacious, modern, and the complex is safe.- The management under Suzanna was awesome!- Maintenance is quick.- Other than traffic, the complex location is perfect. Tons of shops and attractions within a few minutes drive.Cons:- Management structure seems to change often.- The clothes dryers suck in the 1BR, even after maintenance checked them out. They really need to buy new ones. A small load of laundry took 2-3 cycles on average to dry and drove up electricity costs.- Get ready for the headache that is Spectrum.

Love my apartment! I just renewed my lease here and moved from the smaller 1 bedroom into the larger one and both were great. They’ve always been really good about getting all my maintenance requests done within 24 hours, and the girls in the office are amazing and always ready to help. The location is such a plus, right off 1604 but I hardly ever hear the traffic from my building and minutes from anything you could ever need. Definitely happy to be staying for another year!

Maybe its because Im single, no kids and living on a top floor...but I really like this complex. My apartment is beautiful and spacious with a washer/dryer included-but doesnt take away from the square footage. Management has just changed and so far it seems to be working out just fine. Theyll be making upgrades to all of the units and reply to messages sent through the resident portal quickly. Whenever I submit a maintenance request, the task is usually completed within a day or two. I am very happy with the Verandas at Shavano.

We are living in this apartment for about one year. The units are very nice, spacious and well maintained. Nice wooden floor and black appliances made our life easy. Leasing office management specially Debra, and Jennifer are very helpful and courteous. They always take residents concern very seriously and try to help people at their best. The maintenance is super fast. Generally all of our service requests get completed on same day. Maintenance stuffs are also very helpful. Often leasing office arranges different kinds of party/get together where you get chance to mingle with your neighbors. Though you need to pay few bucks extra for locker but its very safe and convenient. Swimming pool is very well maintained. I like the pool in summer very much. last time even they awarded me gift cards and toys for my son as we won two games. There are ample parking spots and the inner roads are very spacious. Also leasing management regularly communicates with residents so you know what is happening in your community. We feel good to live here.

Just had an amazing experience touring a few different units. We walked in and it felt like home! We were greeted right away by Tanya and staff. We were able to see 3 different units, all at our own pace. Great conversation, we spoke as if we’ve known each for years. The hospitality by itself was 5 star and the community was beautiful. You can tell this team goes above and beyond for their community!

Not only was the front desk associate friendly but she made the experience fun. She told me about the great move in deals and I was convinced this was the property for me. Ive been living here for about 8 months and I love how quickly the problems get addressed. There is a lot of attention and care from the management. I loved living here!

This is year 2 for us and this is my absolute favorite apartment complex to live in. There are 3 dog parks that help my fur babies get exercise and play time with other dogs. The staff is friendly and always so helpful. If youre looking for a place to live I recommend coming here for a tour. Great prices, comfortable floor plans, perfect location, pet/family friendly, and maintenance/ front office staff that cares.

Ive been here 4 months and thus far has been enjoyable. Very pet oriented, & quiet community thats gated with remotes. Every so often they have food trucks or small events there at the apt. The apartments look great. There has been some mistakes but nothing major as long as you are patient and understanding. The staff is nice and willing to work with you on issues. Thus far I would give it a 4.8 out 5. I will update as time goes.

I lived here for a year in the smaller 1 bedroom floor plan in building 6 on the 3rd floor.PROS:I wasnt in the front office very often and the office staff still knew me by name. They were always friendly and professional. Front office always had snacks and cold water which is awesome for pool days.Maintenance is fantastic. The few service requests I put in were done within 24 hours. The units themselves were nice. The carpet was soft, granite in the kitchen with beautiful back splash, large balcony, nice vinyl floors, large rooms and closets. Half of building 6 has a nice view of a small canyon and the fiesta Texas fireworks. Quick access to 1604 but you dont even need to get on the freeway to get to The Rim, La Cantera, Fiesta Texas. Its a great location. You can quickly access it after exiting NW Military vs having to exit, go down a mile, then U turn if you live at hilltop at shavano next door. This saves a lot of time during morning/evening commutes. A lot of places have the gate open most of the time but the gate was almost always functioning. The 1 or 2 times someone hit it, they fixed it quickly. They also have great lease specials if you wait for them as well as paid referrals.CONS:Only complaints were neighbor dogs barking. I had to email the office a few times but they contacted the owners and the barking stopped. There was loud/dusty construction behind the complex near the end of my lease but that was out of their control. There is an active quarry not to far so you hear the sirens/explosions and feel the building shake twice a week but its nothing scary, I thought it was pretty cool actually. Throughout my lease, about 90% of the mail was from previous residents despite returning it all to sender several times.Overall I had a good experience. I recommend living here. I have left the area but if I were to return, I would live at this property again. You cant beat the price and location.

I lived at Verandas at Shavano for 1 year and had quite the pleasant experience with the community. Deborah, the previous property manager, was very helpful and would always prioritize her residents needs. Although I never used the amenities, I did appreciate the fact that they were always clean and read to use. Jen, the assistant manager, was always very courteous and professional especially when helping us add our new puppy to our lease, when adding a storage unit to our lease, and when we had any questions about the resident portal or billing. The maintenance staff was also very professional and always completed maintenance requests on time. Special thanks to Jose, for always taking the initiative on service requests by guiding the team and problem solving issues rapidly. Pre COVID, there were some great food events at the club house and it was a great opportunity to meet other residents and get free food! Also pre COVID, I really liked when the food trucks would come and sell at the front of the apartment complex. It was great to enjoy some quality food after a long day of work. I also enjoyed the gift card giveaways that were hosted on social media. We won a visa gift card that we used to get some Chipotle. Definitely would recommend Verandas to anyone looking for a great community and spacious apartment!

Lived here for the better part of 2 years.... overall positive experience!! There was a management change and they came through with upgrades to the unit (granite, new fixtures, etc.) Which really made it look much classier... had a couple issues with theft which is why only 4 stars, but overall good vibe... dog park and pool is super nice!! Left only bc prices continued to rise (but thats happening everywhere)
