    Jarehany took us on the BEST tour. She drove us around on the golf cart which was nice in the heat. She answered every question we had in detail, and gave us all the information we would need on the unit we were interested in. She also showed us 2 units which was SO helpful in deciding what floor plan works best for us. She was so funny, and had a great conversation the entire time.We had multiple terrible experiences with the other properties we toured that day. So to have her positive energy and good vibes, was so refreshing. We did decide to go with The Sage. Welcoming management goes a long way when you are looking for your next place to call home.     I recently moved into The Sage at 1955, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience! From the initial inquiry to the actual move-in day, everything went incredibly smoothly. The leasing office staff was friendly, responsive, and answered all of my questions thoroughly. The main leasing agent for my move, Jarehany, made the paperwork process quick and easy.Upon moving in, I found the apartment to be in excellent condition—clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. The appliances are all modern and functional, and the space has a nice layout with plenty of natural light. The community itself is friendly, well-kept, and offers fantastic amenities like the pool, gym, or hangout area that I’m excited to enjoy.The only minor improvement I would suggest is to provide a more detailed welcome packet that includes information about things like trash pickup schedules and how to access the community amenities. That would make the transition into the apartment even smoother.Overall, I’m very happy with my decision to move here, and I look forward to making this place home!

    We love our complex! The floor plans are spacious and have no carpet! There is a pet area, 2 pools and a yoga/workout room! Plus they have an Amazon Hub to be sure our packages are always safe! It’s a lovely place to call home!

    I moved in almost a month ago from NYC. The office staff (Tanya & Jare) are extremely helpful and communicative, they made my move stress free. The maintenance men are awesome and very diligent. Any time I had a problem they fixed it immediately, if not same day then the next day. I would recommend this complex to anyone. . .whether you’re new to San Antonio or not. I for sure give it a 10/10 😁

    The Sage at 1955 has the best staff! Jarehany is a God send! She’s dedicated to her job. She worked hard to move us as fast and as efficiently as she could! Her positive attitude was very warm and welcoming! Me and my husband also really appreciate the property manager Tanya because she too is very kind. The property is well kept as well as the neighbors around me are all really nice. I’ve been here for 2 weeks and so far so good! I recommend moving here!

    I have lived here for 3 years and the new management has truly made major changes to better the property. The new manager Joanie takes care of business for her residents. I will definitely renew my lease because of the changes and maintenance is staying on top of things.

    They have a brand new staff that are making huge & positive property differences. They treat the tenants like people & not just another renter. I’m very happy to be living here due to all the changes & renovations. I would give it 5 stars but I know, as with a lot of things, there are still some things that are needing improvements. But I’m sure in due time, we will get there. Meanwhile, I’m enjoying my journey😄

    The place is decent and Ysela was really nice and helpful with our move in, the reason Im rating it 4 stars is because we asked them to fix some minor issues with the apartment and they didnt, but the issues are easily fixable with a bit of handy work.

    I love my new home!! I started looking for apartments pretty early so I could have everything figured out come move time. I dealt with someone in the office who is no longer there. I was told a lot of wrong information but had already signed the lease. The apartment # was wrong, the deposit amounts, move in date, so I was stressed to say the least. When I stopped by a week or so before moving in to touch base with the office and learned all of the mistakes, I spoke to the office manager about everything going on. He was very apologetic and did everything he could to make things right, and he did just that! We moved in with no problems to a very clean apartment. There was a few things moving in that needed attention, I put a work order in through the portal and they came the next day to fix them. We have been here two months and have no complaints as far as the apartment or management, they have been great! The only complaint would be people not picking up theirs dogs poop at the dog park, but management can’t really control that. I would highly recommend these apartments, we have had a great experience so far!

    The process to get approved and move in was very easy and Ysela went above and beyond to make it as painless as possible. After move-in, there were some maintenance issues that still needed to be addressed and Doc definitely went above and beyond to fix them as soon as possible.

    I had problems with previous Property management when I moved, I was moved to unfinished apartment and I took me a lot of calls to Regional Manager to resolve the problem instead the property manager. Finally, I was able to get transfer to another Apartment, the Maintenance staff are friendly, and it been fast to get service now. I think after new Property Management got better, I still need to be more sastify to go for the 5 stars.

    Went in for a tour of the apartment complex and I was guided by Jarehany, which to say the least was a great experience. She streamlined the process and helped with the paperwork translation since she speaks spanish. Beautiful apartments, great amenities to include pool, gym, carports, etc. I have to say being a dog lover myself and having a dog park accessible to residents is definitely an amenity ill be taking advantage of frequently. Thanks again to the staff for making us feel part of the community in such a short span, great customer service.

    Our move in experience was fairly rough--we were told certain things over the phone that turned out to not be true and since we were moving from out of state we couldnt come check for ourselves. However, management was understanding and worked to resolve all of our complaints quickly and to our satisfaction. The apartments themselves are VERY nice! Beautiful floors and cabinets and I love the gray color scheme. We are coming up on one year here and will definitely renew our lease for another year. Maintenance is fast and while the staff have their shortcomings, they are really working hard to make this a pleasant and comfortable living situation for all residents.

    I moved in before this company took over management, and Im very glad they did. Theyve improved the overall appearance, added a gated playground, and grilling areas. The maintenance crew are generally quick to see to your needs, and the office staff are quick to relay any messages about work going on in the buildings. Great place to live overall.

    Great community to live at! They have an Outstanding customer service team. I moved here about 2 months ago and so far the experience has been great. Had some minor issues in my apartment but they were resolved just within a few days. Additionally, my apartment was renovated with new appliances and fresh paint so I was impressed.The community has a nice dog park in which you can walk your dog/cat and lots of green areas. It is always very clean overall and they have a nice pool area with a grill in which you can do barbeque and all that. It is also a gated community day/night and it has an option for covered parking, which is a big deal after the hail storms here in San Antonio.I would for sure recommend this place to new residents looking for affordable and very nice community to live at!

    My fiance and I have lived here for a little over 2 months now and we love it! Maintenance is quick to respond and fix things, Tori welcomed us with open arms and a smile, very inviting! They allow dogs of all breeds which was awesome to find. Great place for kids as there is a big fenced in playground and a pool. We love it here!

    **Updated For 1 year after Management Change**They have made a lot of noticeable changes to this apartment over the past year. New Paint Job, turned the pool area into something nicer than it was before, changed the tennis court to a kids play area which hey is pretty cool. Updated the out dated Workout room, and created a nice looking Community office, updating the Sidewalk (it was rough), landscaping all over. And Im sure more things I havent noticed. All in all they are spending the money to update the apartment to be a bit nicer. Im not convinced on the actual Apartment updates switching from the false wooden floor to false laminate, but Im sure some people wont mind. I have to appreciate the amount of work they are doing.However, with that being said, I have to give it a 4 star for a few reasons.Maintenance has improved considerably from the first few months until this year. Now they leave letters on our doors letting us know they were inside (which is a huge step up from Nothing).My biggest example of maintenance recently has been a leak when it rains into our 1st floor apartment. They have done a lot of work (And I imagine spent a lot of money as well) to get our roof fixed. This past time (Before the latest round of roofing changes) they sent a hired 3rd party worker over to vacuum up the water and shampoo my entire floor. I appreciated this.The main complaint about the complex as a whole is not something the apartment can control, but is down to the amount of dog poop not picked up. I have a dog, and I pick up every piece of poop that my dog leaves, however it appears like a lot of dog owners have no care for this. I understand how there is only so much the staff can do, however it sucks when I may be penalized as a dog owner because of other irresponsible owners. Not to mention the difficulty of walking through grassy areas in the dark. Especially this one owner who lets his/her large dog leave piles right outside my house. In the hot days the smell is obvious let me tell you. (Ill find you eventually! :) )There is a dog park with potential however it is useless to my dog as each day I go out there there are at least 3-4 new mounds of fresh poop. I cant walk anywhere on the grass by my apartment without fear of stepping in some new fresh pile of large dogs.The Staff is nice and polite. I go in often to pick up packages and they usually remember my apartment without asking and are always attentive. I can say that its definitely improved from the first few months and I appreciate they work they have put into hiring friendly staff.This apartment is good for:People who want to live in a decent area, there is a nice HEB down the street, and plenty of places to eat. Not great running tracks right outside the apartment but its doable.People who want some clean basic amenities, such as a pool, workout area, Kids play area.People who want a polite apartment staffPeople who dont plan on spending a lot of time around the Complex.Not good for:Pet Owners who take care of their dogParents who want their kids to play on any grassParking. At least once a week I got a good walk to my Apt.

    I have lived in these apartments for 3 years. Once Avesta took ownership, the upgrades started and have not stopped, and while we have opted to stay in our old un-upgraded apartment, we are completely content. The front desk staff (especially Brigitte!) have always done right by me and I feel comfortable going to them with any issues I have and maintenance is quick to help with anything I bring to them. The only downside of this, and really any, complex is people moving in and out and leaving large items near the dumpsters instead of disposing of them properly, but the staff continuously try to prevent and avoid this so I dont hold it against them. I love the location - close to the airport, downtown, medical center, and all of the major highways - you really cant beat this complex.

    We moved here at the end of September. We came from a house. Initially the transition was rough as we had not lived in an apartment in a long time. There were some issues which made me feel a sense of inconvenienced. But thankfully the management and office staff brought that sense to a peace of mind. They resolved the issues and accommodated me during the transition. Maintenance is very quick and responsive to work orders. And the communication from the property is excellent compared to others. I definitely recommend this community as it is also peaceful and friendly.

    All staff is always friendly and willing to help. Maintenance responds extremely quickly, I love that the most. The apartment itself is great, perfect size for the price. New floors and appliances are a bonus added to the bedroom sizes. Its within walking distance to Larkspur Elementary, which is great for those of us with kids. I really enjoy staying here.

    Ive never been to an apartment where they care about their residents more than here at Avesta Summit. Very nice property. They offer fully renovated units with washers and dryers included at a price you cant find anywhere else! My favorite thing about Avesta has to be Jo and Jennifer because they always brighten my day and are always willing to go above and beyond to make your day! If youre looking for a new apartment, do yourself a favor and stop by Avesta Summit and see for yourself!

    I moved into my apartment at Avesta Summit in April 2017. It was a very smooth transition. I absolutely love my apartment and I love the location of the apartment. Brooke and Amanda have been amazing for Day 1. I especially love the playground for my daughter. I plan on staying here for a very long time. The complex is very quite and its a perfect size for my family.

    The staff here at Avesta Summit really care about the tenants who reside here. When I have had to put in a work order in the past, they usually responded the same day if not the next.. They work diligently to make sure everything is alright. Also, very great price for the space they offer.

    I have been here for a year and the experience has been very nice. I have had a couple of issues the the maintenance team took care of right away They were professional and cleaned up after themselves. The office has gone out of their way to make it a pleasant experience to live here. The overall appearance of the complex has improve greatly with landscaping and paint. Also the refurbished apts are excellent with new hardwood floors, new appliances, back splashes in the kitchen, redone tubs and sinks and new paint throughout. I would recommend the complex hands down. Only issue I have is that a security fence would be an added plus and Im sure the other tenants agree with me on that. Only lacks two sides to provide that added security.

    Been here since about march ,and all I got to say is that I’m impressed and pleased with the service that Joanie with the front office team has provided , very understanding and helpful with every time I come in contact with her , and I also wanna give a 5 star shout out to John and the maintenance team ,coming from an understanding point of view maintaining a property can take a lot out of a person from fulfilling work orders to basic maintenance and to keep the property nice and clean i just wanna say thank you and appreciate the work everyone puts in !

    Update *3/28/18*Our maintenance man Alex was absolutely WONDERFUL! I had issues getting into my apartment and he was here and ready to help within less than 10 minutes! Alex is definitely an asset to Avesta Summit and I am so glad hes part of the team! Manager Brooke is also tremendously helpful, kind, and understanding. The Avesta Team is one of my many reasons for signing my SECOND 15 MONTH LEASE!Moved in on 3/20/17, and have had pleasant experiences since. I had a few concerns with the security of the property, but a month and a half later I have had no issues. The property is older, parking can be hectic at times (lots of unused reserved spaces, maybe a drop in monthly price can get them rented?), but I personally leave and arrive early so I havent had issues with that either. Steve, one of the maintenance men, is great at getting things done. I am appreciative of the office staff for successfully processing my work orders and offering a quick turn around for them! Friendly and accessible office staff, too!HARDWOOD FLOORING THROUGHOUT THE APARTMENTS YALL- its nice! :)Will update my review at moveout. So far so good! :)

    Diana is a lifesaver! When I could not get a hold of anyone at my property for an ac emergency(Starclub) I was desperate and decided to call a sister property. Summit apartments came up first on my search, and Diana picked up IMMEDIATELY! I explained that I was sitting outside my apartments office, over an hour after it was supposed to be open, and that my apt temp was 96 degrees since last night. Explained there was no longer an emergency number, and no one was on property. Diana assured me she would try to help, and thats exactly what she did! She contacted Lead maintenance to see who could assist me. She called me back promptly, to let me know Antonio with maintenance, was en route to my property! Not only did she go ABOVE AND BEYOND when she definitely didnt have to.... She also followed up with me to make sure everything was taken care of! Thank you again Diana! The Summit residents are blessed to have someone like you in their corner!!!

    Cant begin to thank the Avesta family for making my home finding experience quick, easy, and exciting. From the very beginning, I was treated with respect and guided with ease through the paperwork, financials and even move in. The community gets more beautiful everyday, thanks to the great and friendly maintenance crew and my family and I really enjoy the pool and grill area. My daughter really loves The park and track area and theres even a huge park just down The street. The location of the apt is perfect because its so close to many shopping, groceries, and food areas right around the corner. I think the best part is how much the staff really care about the people and lives of every resident. They are always doing something at the office to bring the community together, help out a charitable cause, and inform the residents of everything that is happening. I am happy I chose Avesta summit as our home and excited to see what new events they have planned.

    I have lived at the summit for a year. I came over from Houston and what a great find. When first moved in there was a transition of staff and things were a little bleak looking. Enter Ms Tori and her crew. Since they have arrived (sorry I don’t know all names) any issues have been swiftly resolved. Also noticed better up keep in the community. We are in different times due to the coronavirus, but they try to do social distancing events and keep the community a community and doing socially responsible things. What’s also been great, yes we were all hit hard finically due to Covid and the team was great working out payments. Would recommend property to anyone looking for a great place to stay. Keep up the great work team glad and happy to be a resident

    Avesta Summit is a wonderful place to live. The staff are always helpful and maintenance is usually on top of things. The upkeep is substantial as there are always upgrades being done and trash being clean up.There are a few apartment complexes in the area so the streets are busy however youll be close to major routes as well as schools and the bus stops.Apartments are modern and appealing to the eye. Spacious for the price youre paying with included washer/drier. Nice place to be.

    So far it has been great! I was very undecided on which apts to live at, but after seeing how friendly and professional the staff was compared to other others i signed my lease at Avesta Summit. Very quiet complex! Its too quiet i wonder if i am the only at that complex. During the night the apts are patrolled on a regular basis. The staff was very helpful and quick to respond to my emails, calls, and etc. Maintnance issues so far have been also handled quickly, if anything it was my fault that my service issue was delayed bc i didnt hear them knocking. But same day service was provided. Honestly, ive had a great experience so far! Normally bad reviews come from people that complain because its something they either didnt tell office about and got mad, now they want to blame complex for their mistakes. I believe i could have made a bad review and said something bad about them if i wanted too, but then id be lying because it was my fault that my service issue wasnt resolved bc i didnt open door. I get home at night and i actually feel safe getting home bc The hallways to apts are all well lit. Complex is also very clean, thanks the the maintnance team! Its rare to see the smallest piece of trash laying around outside. However, one thing i would suggest ismore dumpsters bc they fill quickly! But honestly that doesnt bother me. Because its not like i walk out to seeing trash outside my door n through out complex, like i said its very clean! THANKS AVESTA SUMMIT! SO FAR SO GOOD! GREAT STAFF AND APARTMENTS TO LIVE AT! I WOULD DEFFINETLY RECOMMEND TO OTHERS!!

    I lived here years ago - loved the location and apartment. The only drawback was being pregnant and living on third floor but I wanted skylight and it was worth the trek up the stairs.Honestly trying to remember exact floor plan- I was telling my kids about living in apt 636.

    I am so ThANkFuL to be living at the Summit Apartments. They offer a clubhouse with a fitness center and yoga room, two swimming pools, picnic area with BBQ grills, playground, walking track, and on-site dog park. They make your pet fell very welcome.In these hard times they will work with you and are very understanding. This is the most important thing in these trying times.Apartment # 2214

    Best management!!! Work orders are done fast!! Best maintenance in the complex!!! Cool neighbor hood. Dog friendly!! I really love living here, I had never had any problems with management. Everyone is friendly here.

    My mother and I are very thankful n couldn’t be more blessed because we came from Ft. Collins Co the beginning of this year and struggled to find a place we can call home so we lived in parking lots, mountains, rest areas and hotels. Our way back to Texas we worked 24/7 to find the opportunity to find the Summit Apts our brand new home they were very welcoming with open arms of our situation thanks again 😁
