I submitted my application for 2 bed & 2 bath and Sabrina is a leasing manager who helped us through out by showing the different available units gave me helpful suggestions and also explained how the promotions works. She was really kind and sweet to us. I hope the stay in this place would be wonderful in the coming future.

I moved into Briarcrest a week back. My leasing manager/agent was Ms Sonia and am so lucky to have worked with her. Firstly, I was relocating from west coast and could not visit the property in person. Sabrina and Sonia are so experienced at this and they showed highest level of patience and guide me at every step. Fortunately, Sonia took care of all my concerns through phone and emails consistently, cos I did have some credit issues. The unit I moved into was EXACTLY as she had described on phone (renovated with all new appliances!). All paper work was done by her fast and smooth as I had just one week before moving. Once I met her at the office I just realized how kind, considerate and hard worker she is. She helped me set up internet and electric service immediately which I am very thankful. She also offered a water bottle just seeing I was tired driving to the place when it was super hot that day. The unit itself is bigger than I expected with huge closets in both rooms. I dont think of any cons moving here except that I would prefer gas stoves instead of electric ones (they have a safety feature where after the stove is very hot it switches off!). The neighborhood is just off the main freeway and very close to all stores you can think of (walmart is less than a mile!). A walking trail attached to the property is super cool! There is a pool and 24 hr gym which seems rather busy most of the time, that I dont use. I did not have any Parking issues till now even though it is not reserved. I feel lucky and proud to move here!

I am a current resident of The place at Briarcrest, been here 2 months now. I worked with Kecia and Sonia who were both very nice and welcoming. I absolutely love my townhome ALOT…..BUT I have to be completely honest, I have ran into a few things that concern me….1. When I first moved in my AC unit up stairs went out and they had to fix it. Thank god it hadn’t gotten hot yet so it wasn’t a big deal. But when I got my first electric bill it was over $200 dollars for 30 days. Blew my mind! Going to see what it’s looking like for the following month before I say something.2. My downstairs toilet hose was old and ended up busting while I was at my night job, came home to a flooded home w my dogs inside. Called emergency maintenance which is not on site, took them 45 mins to get here. I had to call out of my second job due to my house being full of water. Maintenance men were very nice tho and did change all the hoses on my 3 toilets I appreciated that. I was kind of upset that all I got was a phone call from the PM (property manager) stating it wasn’t their fault or mine’s and that was it. I feel like knocking some money off my rent for the following month would have been curtious seeing how I was only here for a month and had just paid rent when this happened and technically had it been checked before I moved in this would of never happened. But I didn’t push the issue because I don’t like to be a pest resident, it’s just the thought that counts ya know.3. They have a bad issue with American cockroaches!!! Every day or every other day I am having to kill or sweep up these huge cockroaches literally everywhere. I have said something about this and my house has only been sprayed twice. Me and my kids are terrified of bugs and these things are HUGE!!! I feel like I can’t be the only one here with this issue!!! I would love for it to be resolved. There has to be some type of entry for how they are entering my home and I need it GONE! My daughter found one in the bathroom and now she’s scared to go to sleep. I’ve only seen a few roaches here and there which is no where near as bad as the American cockroaches and not a big deal because I clean my house twice a week.Other than those 3 issues , I absolutely LOVE staying over here! It’s quiet, surrounded by tons of food places and Walmart, they have Amazon lockers on site so I don’t have to worry about my packages being taken! The staff don’t bother you at all. They are actually really sweet. I try not to get on here and read reviews before hand because I don’t want someone else’s issues to be the reason I don’t move somewhere. So after being here 2 months and getting my own feel, I decided to finally give my honest review! Definitely would recommend to others but I will inform them of the few issues I encountered. Overall 7/10 for me!!

Best property ever! I use to live in this property about 15 years ago. I moved back to Dallas again and need an apartment asap. Miss Sona and Sara help asap to get an apartment. I only have positive things to say about this apartment complex. The front desk staff are friendly and willing to help with anything you need. The maintenance staff responded to my service request the day after it was submitted. My dad lived at Briarcrest apartments for over 6 years. For quite a while, the apartments, maintenance and staff became quite complacent and even neglected the property. Fortunately, earlier this year, a new manager, Trish, and her staff took over. They have been working tirelessly to repair, replace and update the entire complex. My dad had a severe water leak prior to their takeover and was ignored with maintenance requests. However, Trish immediately used all her experience and trusted company connections to quickly take care of the situation. She went completely above and beyond with so much hard work and compassion involved. With this new team in place, the apartment complex will be transformed into perfect living!

UPDATEThere was another company that came in after Cortland. I was a little bit hesitant. However Anthony is amazing GREAT customer service. Dominique the Manager is kind and understanding. Alex, Martin and Maintenance Supervisor Greg is AWESOME! I couldnt ask for a better management company. Skilled, Caring and maintenance request are met on time. The Place at Briarcrest is GREAT AGAIN!Trish and Aaron, are amazing! Cortland has taken Briarcrest to the next level. The communication between and staff and residents have improved greatly. “It was time to make Briarcrest GREAT again” it seems to be on its way!

I absolutely love this place. Been here for 4 or 5 months so far and I have zero regrets about moving here. Its a quiet neighborhood and its close to so many wonderful things. Walking distance from H-Mart (yay), close enough to the tollways/freeways that you can get just about anywhere quickly, and its genuinely peaceful. No booming cars at night, no shouting matches in the parking lot, just nice people everywhere. And something that should speak volumes about this neighborhood: people go on casual strolls because they choose to. Try living in a sketchy neighborhood and look at the pedestrians. Every one of them are buried in their phones or hiding their faces as best as they can. Around here, people walk because they want to. Oh and my personal favorite perk: there are three fantastic put-in spots for kayaking the Trinity within a 15 minute drive. Roger was delightful when I first toured the property. Maintenance actually maintains things. No accumulation of trash. Its just a good, peaceful place to be.

Since the management has changed, Cris the manager and her team have worked very hard to please everyone who lives here. I know they get a lot of complaints but since covid, they have taken all the right steps to protect everyone in the office and us the community. Excellent job all the way around and I will be ready to sign my lease when it is time. Love it here.

I’m stunned by some of the racist reviews on here. Sure there is plenty of diversity at this complex, but I think it adds to the environment and makes things interesting.The management really tries to make a difference and they are both friendly and professional. There’s a few trouble maker residents who dump garbage and are generally slobs, but that’s true at most complexes. I think overall the helpful staff and proximity to shopping make this a great place to live. I do wish rent was a little lower, and they are raising prices... but I think that has more to do with our busted economic system in the US than anything management can do. I would (and have) recommend Briarcrest as a home to friends around the area.

My whole experience with BriarCrest staff has been amazingly pleasant. They welcomed me very peacefully and eager to help me find a place for me and my children. Roger and Chloe have been keeping me updated and informed on the whole process. Most apartments that I have applied to have been inconsistent, it would be hard for me to reach them but Briarcrest has been doing an amazing job. They leave vms, called me back in a timely manner and they keep me on my toes on what I need to do next to complete the process to be apart of this community. Im so excited for my move in tomorrow!

I am here visiting from Kentucky let me say i am staying in a townhouse here and it is very nice always clean outside they even offer to pick up your garbage and take it to the dumpster. Pool is great clean and even open late. Office staff are very nice and helpful i give it 10 stars!!

Office staff were always friendly and helpfull. I feel they were flexible when my needs changed over the life of the lease. Parking was never a problem. I never saw any security issues nor felt it was unsafe area. I saw alot of families living here. It is close to H Mart and Trinity Mills Transit Center. Plenty of night lighting.

Placed a call to office, talked with Mina and she contactedthe maintenance group and shortly, Alberto showed up, monitored the situation and Alberto added coolant to our a/c unit and everything was great.
