I have to commend the new management team at Patten West. Turning around an apartment complex isn’t easy (especially in this part of Austin) but the effort and dedication they’ve shown have been nothing short of amazing. The new property manager and staff have truly stepped up, and the improvements are noticeable. Keep up the great work—your hard work is paying off!

Me and my friend stopped by last week on Saturday without an appointment and we were very pleased with the service we received from Jenni. Even though they don’t have 3 bedroom apartments we were so comfortable with all the information she gave us. If it wasn’t for us needing 3 rooms we would’ve had already applied.

I love visiting my cousin and stopping by the office just to say hi to Jenni and Denisse. They always help us with everything. Specially with my cousin who recently just had surgery and couldn’t walk to the office. Very appreciated 🫶🏻

I recently moved into Patent West, and my experience has been positive overall. Janel, the property manager, was incredibly helpful during the move-in process, making it a smooth transition. The property management company recently took over, and Ive noticed their dedicated efforts to enhance everyones living experience. Its evident they are working hard to make improvements. The location is great. I appreciate the positive changes happening, and I look forward to seeing how the property continues to evolve under the new management.

I want to thank Janel, the new manager at The Patten West, for her excellent service. She has been the best manager that I have ever had. She is so competent and compassionate, and always, even when she is not at work, ready to help. She even came in on her day off to get me into my new apartment.When the new management took over recently, I was scheduled to move from one apartment to another due to water damage from the apartment above mine. Unfortunately, the prior manager had not informed the new management. Janel got me transferred on time, and took care of everything efficiently. I can’t thank her enough for the timely and smooth transition. It could, and probably would, have been a nightmare if anyone else had to handle my situation without notice. Thank you again Janel. You are a Rock Star!!!

I have lived at The Patten West apartments for the past 5 years, in two different units. I have had numerous bad experiences with the previous management companies (of which there have been several during my time there) Had I written this review a year or two ago, I would not be giving 5 stars (more like -5 stars) Previous management ran this property into the ground.BUT the new management company, Sandalwood, really seems to be doing right by the property and the residents, specifically Janel. It has been such a nice change of pace to have a property manager who you can tell REALLY cares about her residents. She is friendly and quickly responds to emails. She is all about taking care of business and that is what this property has needed for years!

I have lived at Pattern West for 10 yrs but it wasn’t called that when I first moved in 10 yrs ago it was Hillside Villas. The managers have changed reins for at least 6 times since I’ve been there. My experience has been good & rocky but overall it’s been great. I’ve had great managers over the years but Janel Patterson has been far most the best. Since the first day I met her she was about “BUSINESS “ let me say that again “BUSINESS “and making her residents feel at home . Her heart is so big she listens to you intently and once you are finished she gets right on the problem while you are sitting in front of her. If you leave her a message or email she will return it if not that day but definitely the next day. Janel is an awesome manager wouldn’t trade her for nothing wish more managers were like her she has definitely made me feel like this is a great place to reside. The other staff are great as well polite and courtesy. So please stop by Pattern West you want be disappointed greeted with the upmost respect. Janel is awesome

5 stars to management. I have lived here for almost 2 years and I believe this is the 3rd or 4th management group we have had. The others were absolutely terrible but this group cares about the residents and do anything they can to improve the experience here. The apartments themselves vary drastically from unit to unit and the area is not ideal but you pay for what you get so it’s expected. I see this complex only improving under the manager Janel.

Living here around a year and it has been the best apartment we’ve ever rented! Couldn’t be happier with the location and the staff! I want to thank the new management at The Patten West apartments. When they were previously run by RPM, I always struggled getting in contact with anyone at the office. My maintenance requests would be ignored and marked as complete without anything being done. This was not run professionally in my past year living here. Now, I want to really commend Janel in her efforts to make my stay worthwhile. After leaving a voicemail one day, she took the time to call me back and assist in my payments and living conditions. She is truly a stellar asset to this apartment complex. She is the reason Ive decided to renew my lease at the Patten West.

All the issues I have had since move in she has taken care of in a short time. She has even done a work order for me because she didnt have staff to do it. She has made it so I will renew my lease. The property manager is absolutely amazing. Will help you with anything. Kay is the best! Will go above and beyond. All the maintenance staff are incredible. Service requests are fulfilled within 48 hours. We’ve been here 1 year and we love it.

My review would’ve started off bad the management used to be awful at this property. You could not get no help from no one. Until Janelle, the new property manager, which is amazing fixed everything she hasn’t even been here that long and you can see such a big difference. The property even looks better. This lady always answers the phone and is willing to help so I would definitely recommend renting here now they got great office staff.

Lived at the Patten West for 1 year, and experienced a huge upgrade in responsiveness and quality of living after the property dropped RPM. Big kudos to Janel for turning the location around. Had I not moved out of state, would’ve absolutely resigned.

So we have moved here over two years ago. The previous management company was awful. But we recently changed management companies and the new one is awesome. Janel and Leti are always there to help us and have fixed issues that the old one didn’t care about.

The maintenance staff at Patten West are very attentive, communicate well and make repairs in a timely fashion. Mike Pantoja is one of their best maintenance employees on staff and generally contacts you the next business day once you have submitted a non-emergency work order.

I’m currently aparment searching and Wolfdji has been very helpful taking me to both Patten East and West so that I could get a good feel for the place! The renovated units all feel very spacious and it seems like a very pleasant place to live!

Hello. A few days ago I had a problem with my apartment, the bathroom flooded and they moved me to another apartment while they repaired my apartment and in my rent they deducted the days we had away from it. I have nothing to say about the administration... I They solved the problem.
