    Since new management took over last year, this place has really changed. I can tell they are working really hard to keep this place looking so good. Ohh.. and the new lights they put up in the BBQ area are awesome!

    I just recently signed a new lease for my second year here at the Monroe. The main reason for doing this was because of the new management who has bent over backwards to assist me with various issues Priscilla and her team are extremely helpful.I originally choose the Monroe Because it was small and Intimate and I was hoping that would be good. It really has been because my neighbors have been great and helpful, Polite and friendlyI’ve had my share of Maintenance issues, but Maintenance has always responded professionally and politely so I really have no reason to complain This is an older property and the units can be quirky, but that is a positive.

    100% would recommend The Monroe Apartments. The amenities are great, offering everything you need for comfort and convenience. The maintenance team is incredibly responsive and always on top of any requests. I have to give a special shoutout to Priscilla from the management team—she’s been outstanding and consistently helpful, making the experience even better.If youre looking for a well-maintained, serene place with excellent management.

    Recently toured The Monroe Apartments, and had a really good experience. The staff was great & knowledgeable and immediately made me feel comfortable. I also really liked that the dog park was shaded by trees, which is nice come summer time and the pool was also really clean. Overall, it was a great property, and I would definitely recommend checking out The Monroe if youre looking for a place to live!

    The monroe is a really good spot to live. A few months ago my partner and I moved here. Already we have seen a major difference from here to our other apartment complex. Our complaints although minor have been solved immediately or we have been told how it will be fixed immediately. Priscilla is an awesome person too. If you’re looking to move somewhere, but afraid you are moving somewhere you will feel neglected like we were. Donnot worry the monroe is an amazing area.

    The staff members are very understanding and knowledgeable. This property is very old but, The maintenance personnel is doing a very good job of renovating old apartments. I love it here!!! 💓

    What an amazing Property. It’s very quiet, area is safe, and family oriented. Qon(The Property Manager) gave an amazing tour and showed all of the amenities. The price is on point and you’ll get a big bang for your Buck. If you are in the market for a new home I 100% recommend The Monroe.

    100% Recommend! I came on property looking to get an in person experience. As soon as I arrived Kim greeted me immediately and was super professional. The tour was very informative and was offered many options to see. I was actually able to walk away with a place. Super easy flowing process. Totally recommend !

    The Monroe Townhouses are a great place to live. The management, Ms Kimberly, and maintenance staff are so professional and friendly, seeking to handle whatever is need to accommodate the residents. I have personally recommended this property to my friends and others. Being a senior citizen I feel safe here, and my neighbors make an even happier environment.

    Five years ago, The Monroe wasnt in the best shape. Our apartment specifically had a myriad of problems, from a leaking window, to constant AC issues, to pests. Basically, if there was a problem to be had, my wife and I had them. This was exacerbated by unresponsive at best, insulting and victim-blaming at worse staff. They either wouldnt fix the issue, or blame us for the problems we were having.That was before Pluris, and our current property manager, Kim, took over. From day one, Kim had the ball rolling, fixing problem after problem as quickly as possible. Within a month, she had already fixed the window, fixed our AC, hired new maintenance staff who are just as hard-working as she is, and started work on improving security on the property. Pest control has already started extensive work on the property. Kim is very responsive to emails and calls, and is always open. To suggestions that can help improve our stay here. And shes very nice and empathetic to say the least.I was very frustrated before Pluris took over, but Im very happy I decided to stay here.

    What a great tour I had at The Monroe. Jaylan and the Property Manager Michael were wonderful to speak with and provided me with a ton of information about the community and apartment home. The Monroe community is extremely quaint and the grounds are meticulously clean and taken care of. The apartment homes have also been renovated so there are updated modern features galore. I would highly recommend you stop by and check this amazing little boutique community out.

    My approval and move-in process was quick and easy! Communication in the office is great! I love Qon the property manager! This is the cutest, quietest and safest neighborhood I’ve lived in, in Dallas! It’s close to everything! The inside of the apartments are extremely spacious for the price! I love my little backyard too!!

    I have lived here three years and have to say that things have changed dramatically with the new management team under Kim. Previous property managers were pretty pathetic. But it’s a breath of fresh air to see this new team, under Kim, taking control and making a new difference for all of us tenants.

    Since the most recent change in management toValiant, there has been more noticeable work on the outside of the property as well as communication from the office. Kwon in the office has been very helpful in getting my lease renewal processed, questions answered, and even asked if there were any maintenance/upkeep issues in my apartment that needed to be looked at. I have lived here for 4 years and this is the first time the office/management has proactively asked about upkeep/maintenance inside my unit when I was renewing my lease.This is a small, older complex in a quiet neighborhood. It is is close to work for me and fits my financial needs at this time.

    I kept renewing my lease here for an unusual reason - Mr. Wilson the Lead Maintenance man. He is great at his job - he knows how to fix anything and he doesnt talk down to you. He is the heart of this property. It is an older complex and he is familiar with issues that might surface. He is a treasure.I love the real wood floors and that the community is less than 10 minutes from UTSW.

    I’ve been here about 3 months and everything has been good. Kim Ray got us in quick and has been professional. So far everything is excellent! Oh yea and the location is very nice as well.

    Ive lived here since 2017, and experience a lot of good times and many unpleasant interactions with several property managers. Within the last several months since the current property manager was hired, I can honestly say many exciting changes are happening. This guy is definitely making changes for the BEST! Hes caring, professional, and follows through. This property is on its way to UP, and thank to the current property manager! Thank you, Sir!

    I have only lived here for a few months but my stay has been great! Maintenance requests have been taken care of in a timely manner, the buildings are nice and the public areas remain clean and well kept. The the buildings themselves are older but the staff has done a great job remodeling and maintaining a quality living space for a great price. The staff in the front office are always very welcoming and friendly, the maintenance staff has been incredibly helpful and all very professional. Community is friendly and welcoming. Apartments are in a great location and I have had no problems walking to any of the surrounding businesses.

    Tucked away in Cedar Springs Heights, The Monroe is at the center of everything without being swept up in it. The property boasts shade trees, open courtyards for each building, individual yards for the townhomes, a dog park, and a pool. It is an oasis in the middle of one of the most active parts of Dallas. The comfort and quiet of a cottage life right in the middle of all the action.The staff are attentive, invested, and affable. The maintenance crew are committed and hard working. The property is currently seeing renovations and updates, and theyre working hard to keep the community beautiful and the units modern.If youre seeking modern styling, the renovated units have that. The Classic units are not particularly outmoded or run down.They boast hardwood floors and are well cared for. Theyre warm and comfortable. Everyone has a different taste, but I find the floor plans well considered and efficiently laid out. The space is well used.I spent a lot of time comparing apartment properties and condos; analyzing costs in various ways. The Monroe is the forerunner in all fields. Their lease prices are highly competitive.Their leasing office is not a megastructure and waste of space. Its a comfortable office that fulfills its role. They dont have a community center or massive, outdoor community areas with grills and lawn furniture. Theres no community gymn. But The Monroe offers uncomplicated living, quiet, and privacy. If youre looking for a humble place to settle down, this is it. Unpretentious, comfortable, affordable, and easy access to all the things you might want.The property is within easy reach of I-35E, I-30, The Dallas North Tollway, TX-75, TX-183, TX-114, Highland Park, Greenway Parks, Oak Lawn, Katy Trail, Uptown, Victory Park, Market Center, the Medical District, Design District, Trammell Crow Park, and Love Field. Its 5 minutes from Love Field by car.Its a beautiful day at The Monroe.

    Just toured the apartments today very last minute before they closed… Qon made me feel very welcome and set some time aside for me even though it was almost 6:00pm and never made me feel rushed. They are renovating the apartment complex and the renovated units look beautiful! He showed me a classic apartment and a renovated one, and a couple different units to get a good idea. Never felt rushed one time. The complex is quiet and close to downtown, oak lawn, the strip, deep ellum. Qon definitely took the time to take care of me today and he is a huge reason I would live here!

    My husband and I have been living at The Monroe for a few years now. We love the neighbors, neighborhood, the fenced yard, pet friendly environment as well as other amenities. The management office has been extremely helpful during this health crisis and works with tenants on their individual situations. They helped my family out during this crisis and are managing the property very well during all of this. Would recommend someone to live here as well.

    My review is based on our experience while touring The Monroe to possibly rent, Im not a resident there. But we were very impressed with the renovations that Tania, who was very helpful and patient answering all of our questions, pointed out to us. The complex looked very clean and modern. The pool is 8 FT deep, and looked so inviting! During the time touring it was so quiet, and Tania mentioned it was always like that. So in the end we didnt rent there because the price didnt align with our budget goals, however, if ever we had the opportunity to, just because of that first great impression, we sure would!

    Extremely responsive and professional maintenance and some of the friendliest leasing office workers I’ve ever met! Every apartment place will have its quirks, but having a supportive staff that helps to quickly resolve issues is what makes these apartments special. Would recommend these to anyone ❤️

    I have lived here for about 3 months, and so far I really like it. There is plenty of space to walk my dog, the area is clean and pretty. My apartment did get hot on the second floor (2 BR), so I bought 2 $100 A/Cs and I sleep in a cold room every night and my utility bills have been right at $100/month which I think is reasonable. My neighbors have been very pleasant, I have had zero noise complaints. I have seen one cockroach in 3 months so as of yet insects are not a problem. My biggest issue is that some kids in my building dont walk their dog on a leash and dont pick up after their dog. Ugh. Oh yeah and the manager brought by some cupcakes the other day for some sort of national cupcake day, and they were amazing!

Thank you to the staff we have in the office now foe going above and beyond to get me squares away. They took the time to literally walk me through the steps to gey my rental insur updated to avoid addtional monthly fees!!! YOU GUYS ROCK.

    These apartments are a hidden gem in the Oak Lawn neighborhood of Dallas! While they are nothing extremely fancy, you do get granite countertops and real wood flooring. There is also a sense of community among the residents. The only criticism is that landscaping could use some TLC. The only reason I left is because I was transferred to Houston for work. If I ever move back to Dallas I will definitely be contacting The Monroe!

    Been here before the take over and I loved it..quiet very nice neighbors etc...since the take over..still quiet however the gate wouldnt open out the blue (had to park in the street overnight!) Out of the blue the complex was without water no flyers, notice, NOTHING! we just lost our free wifi which was a great amenity for guests...seems like there watering down the community somewhat I can keep going :-(...UPDATE..10.5.2016... The new owners are renovating the exterior all of the above HAS been addressed...looks like we are getting more personal spaces built etc...Im interested in seeing how this looks when completed...praying about the color samples we (the residents) have seen so far 😂🤔
