I’ve lived since May ‘24 and have had a great experience living at the Monarch. Apartments are well insulated and fixtures are solidly installed, I particularly love the kitchen found in the 2 Bedroom apartment we live in.I want to give a specific shout out to the concierge team (Sydney, Tera, and Will) who all have helped me since day one of moving to the Monarch. The concierge team has handled everything from food deliveries to guests expertly.

My daughter just moved out after living here for 15 months.The PROS: The way the building is managed is great. Everyone from the concierge team downstairs to the maintenance crew and convenience of the package delivery room is superb. The location in downtown could not be better. Literal walking distance to so many incredible things, including Ladybird Lake, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, and much much more.The CONS: Pricing. I will say the price is good for the square footage in downtown but again still very expensive and many of the apartments, including my daughters, are quite dated. I believe they have started to renovate some of the apartments, but my daughters was not renovated with older cabinetry and appliances. Her unit did have newer vinyl flooring. Units with a city view are superior and you will pay more to live on that side of the building. In my opinion, one of the worst parts of living there is the parking garage situation. Parking is $125 per month on top of your monthly rent price. If you happen to return home past 8 PM, you will not have a place to park except on top levels where the pigeons will do quite a bit of mess on your car. The only parking spots that seem to be open are reserve spots which they want you to pay even more money for. Also, they changed the guest parking policy halfway through her lease, which made it impossible for her to have friends over as they had to pay to park past a certain time and if they were only a few minutes late, they would receive a $50 ticket. Her friends did not want to come over to visit at that point. All that being said, the pros really do outweigh the cons if you can swing the high pricing and can tolerate the parking situation. She did enjoy living there overall.

I moved into the Monarch almost a year ago after living in a different apt complex a few blocks away and I am thrilled I made the move. The apartments are great with easy accessibility to walk almost anywhere in downtown Austin easily. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and amazing in all situations - shout out Terah, Sydney, Will, and Jared for unparalleled concierge (+ EVERYTHING) support and Ty for fulfilling maintenance requests quickly and efficiently. By far the best place to live in downtown Austin!

I can’t say enough positive things about Will and Terah, two of the Concierge team members. From the moment I started the move-in process, both have been absolute rays of sunshine and are always willing to go above and beyond to help! I feel very fortunate to have them at this property.The Property Manager, Ginger, has also been amazing! She played a large part in making my experience at the Monarch wonderful so far.Additionally, Ty has been a superstar helping fix any maintenance requests I’ve submitted in a timely manner. Taking the time to provide an honest review from a current resident.Ive lived in the building since July 2023 and the majority of my experience has been great. The people in the leasing office were helpful all the way though the move-in process and I havent had any issues with my actual unit. Of all of the Downtown Austin apartments I toured, the Monarch has been the provided the most value for my rent.Ill address the biggest issue that some residents seem to having currently -- the concierge. First off, the concierge manager (Jared) is incredibly hospitable and excellent at his job, as is Brittany as well.They were short-staffed due to some others leaving, which the management made residents aware of well in advance. Theyve hired two new people, but seemingly, theyre available from fewer hours than before -- which can affect deliveries making their ways to residents/outside access to the building. I understand why some residents are frustrated because this was/is a selling point when viewing the property.Overall, the rest of the amenities (pool, gym, work rooms, parking) more than make up for the recent concierge issues, but I understand the frustrations of others who may rely on the service more.

Ty has been incredible. When I had things that needed to be fixed in my apt at the Monarch, Ty has always been a lifesaver. He showed up the very next day after I submitted my maintenance request and helped me with problems, both big and small. My husband and I have been living at the Monarch for over 6 years now.. hands down the best patios and views of downtown in all of Austin! The location is perfect for walking everywhere.. restaurants, library, TJs, Wholefoods, Lady Bird Lake, just to name a few! We especially love and appreciate our staff that go above and beyond every day to provide exceptional service.. Ginger, the Monarch manager, Jared, the Concierge manager, and our recent addition to the concierge team, Sydney who is so personable and attentive, and Faith, who is lovely, make our living here such a pleasurable experience.. the service team consisting of Randall, Ty, Fred and Luis are stellar as well! Living here is only as good as the staff who support you! Thank you team Monarch!

The apartments themselves are nice, but what really makes it great are the concierge and maintenance teams!The front desk is always very kind and helpful, as is maintenance. We recently had an issue where our fridge was leaking, and we didnt have the right tools to get into the back of it where there was a bunch of ice blocking the drain. Fred was able to get in there and take care of it - which was definitely not an easy fix, so special shoutout to Fred!

Because the building was built as a condo, I don’t hear any noise from any neighbors whatsoever. Absolutely the best neighborhood in downtown Austin to live. Can’t beat the sunset/sunrise city views either!

I’ve been living at the Monarch for a year and a half and really love it here. The whole concierge team works hard to host events and patrol who enters the building, so I always feel safe. I love the on-site dog park and the pool and gym are always clean. The maintenance team, especially Ty, is also the fastest I’ve ever seen of anywhere I have lived. Requested repairs are always timely and crises are handled so fast!

Also, huge shout out to Randall!! You had the biggest ask of all trying to fish my drivers license out of the vestibule at the door of the building. Everyone here just wants to help. I truly do feel like Ive found a place I can stay at for a long time.

This review is for the conceirge team, which is terrific! I can’t say enough good things about the manager, Jared, who is always professional, positive and accommodating. There have been many occasions that he has gone the extra mile and totally saved the day! Brittany is awesome and always on top of things - whether it’s deliveries or guests coming to visit, she has always been incredibly helpful. Between Jared, Brittany and Evan, the level of service they provide is a big factor in my decision to lease here. In the time I’ve lived at Monarch, the building has certainly gone through many changes and Jared and the team have done so much to make it as pleasant as possible for the residents.The maintenance team is also on top of every request. Any request I have made is typically done within 24 hours and Tyson always goes above and beyond to make sure things are done right. Tyson has even taken a proactive approach on multiple occasions to fix things that I casually mentioned.All in all, a terrific group of professionals that make this building feel like home.

4/5. Would give higher, but the units are dated and really need a refresh. Cabinetry and Appliances are very old and kind of falling apart. We had several cabinet doors just fall off the hinges.Pros*The units are very large and price per square foot is very competitive.*Most 2/2 apartments have massive balconies.*Very responsive staff who take resident complaints seriously. They really try to ensure that the community works for everyone. If you have an obnoxious/loud neighbor, rest assured they will take care of it.*Great Concierge*Attentive leasing staff*Great Location. No noise from 6th carries over, yet you are next to Whole foods.ConsSee aboveThere does seem to be a fair bit of building construction as it is dated. They redid the lobby and are currently experiencing issues with the roof of the complex leading to massive scaffolding that was erected right outside the main entrance.Would recommend this building. I do think they should redo the interiors of some units to bring them more up to date.

I loved my time at the Monarch, overall. We submitted our application from only seeing a video of the unit. Dealing with the leasing office was hit or miss, but I feel like that can be a problem at every apartment complex. No big issues. When we moved in, the whole first floor was under construction, so it was a big hassle to go down to the ground floor, receive food deliveries, etc, and the gym was set up in a 2 bedroom apartment. I felt bad for the people living below that! Luckily everything had reopened just a few months after we moved in. The concierge men/women were always so friendly and helpful. I feel like everyone would go to them over the leasing office lol.Our floorplan was absolutely massive for a 2 bed 2 bath. Our balcony spread across the entire width of the whole apartment. It is easily, EASILY the best view of downtown. I will treasure my time there. They boast the building was built to condo specs, and I believe it. I never heard my upstairs neighbors, everything was built well. Its very walkable and you have trader joes and whole foods on either side of you. Easy walk to the hike and bike trail. Crime was low, security was present, never had any issues in the garage. They have a big storage area for residents as well. We took advantage of the common areas for parties as well as the small co-working areas. I definitely feel like this was luxury living, and you will pay the price.

I lived at the Monarch for 5 years in 2 units and had an exceptional experience. The Monarch concierge and maintenance staff set the standard for the rest of the industry. Jared and Ty were huge parts in making my 5 years memorable and rewarding. Thank you for all you do.The only thing holding back 5 stars are the units being a bit outdated. Nonetheless a great place to call home.

I dont write a lot of reviews, but need to make an exception here. There have been a lot of changes since we moved in just under 4 years ago - some could have been handled a lot better, but there are two concierges here - Jared and Brittany who are the backbone of the community, did whatever they could to make everything bearable and can always be counted on to be friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.They make everyone feel special and looked out for and go out of their way to be helpful, even if its way out of their normal job responsibilities and theyre great hangs too. I dont do this very often...Brittany and Jared are really special. Almost forgot, so is Ty (maintenance) who wont stop until everything is working and is comparably awesome..

I have recently graduated and was looking for a place in Downtown.The Monarch by Windsor is beautiful. They have a huge, clean gym and a heated swimming pool !!When I looked at the property, I fell in love with it. The location, apartments features, huge living areas, lighting in apartments and staff all are amazing.Kim - the property manager is a complete delight and a kind human being. She helped me out with all my questions - more than 50 emails in our thread and answered all of them in detail.Our apartment was occupied when we decided to lease it so she showed us apartments wit similar floor plans explaining in detail how our apartment would be different.I definitely recommend this place to recent graduates and experienced people as well.

I recently moved to Austin from another city and needed a new apartment quickly. After looking at several buildings, the Monarch was the last apartment that I needed to view. Within 24 hours of viewing the apartment, the leasing staff and building management were able to get us moved in. Kim Pastore was our leasing consultant and was always there to answer any questions during the application and move in process. The concierge staff made moving as easy as possible and accommodated any requests we had. I have only been here less than a week, but so far everything has gone smoothly, the building is in a great location if you are interested in living downtown, and I look forward to living here for the next year and beyond.

Working with Manni from the monarch leasing office team while moving out was a great experience. He helped make it a smooth transition and was always helpful so a special shout-out to him. My lease is up later this year so I went in for a tour with Manni and can’t say enough nice things about him. He was super nice, very informative, and made sure all my questions/concerns were addressed. I would highly recommend checking out this apartment complex.

We have loved living at the Monarch - the location is ideal - close to everything and in a great part of town! We feel totally safe and can walk to so many fun things! The staff here is also extremely helpful and accommodating - from the concierge to the maintenance team - 10 out of 10!Our leasing agent, Kim Pastorebent over backwards to help us, keep us informed and communicate with us since we met her at the end of January! We moved during the onset of the Corona virus - and she made a crazy time so much easier! We put our house on the market - sold it to move here - choosing the Monarch in part due to Kim’s outstanding and outgoing personality and professionalism and true enthusiasm for the community, the management and the location. She has worked tirelessly to make sure we had a place to live once we learned that the construction on our apartment was going to take longer than anticipated. We are living in an unprecedented time - so her consistent communication and support has made this difficult situation much easier. We have truly been impressed with everyone we have met to date - the entire staff goes out of their way to be helpful and nice! We are SO excited to move in to the new place - and so grateful to have someone like Kim helping us along the way!With our gratitude - Kristen and Ian Knight!

I waited a long time to write this review. There were some difficulties with my apartment toward the end of my lease, primarily centered around the fact that rents had dropped significantly and the newer tenants left a lot to be desired.I hear thats rectified, and judging by the rents, Id say it shouldnt be problem now. I also hear that there is full-time security in the garage, which alleviates the entire problem that resulted in my departure from this community.Up until that time, I loved this apartment. It had a few flaws, such as the inferior shelving in the closet and some odd floor plan choices. However, the benefits far outweighed the negatives.The location is nearly perfect, youll find that you rarely need to take the car out of the garage, as everything you need is within easy walking distance. Views from both sides of the complex are spectacular. My apartment was one of the best layouts Ive ever had for entertaining and the balcony was absolutely the best Ive seen anywhere. If you have a dog, the dog walk is one of the best Ive seen downtown and just outside the main building.There arent many apartments I legitimately miss, but this one, I do.

We stayed in the corporate unit last year and everything was great! They even have a maintenance guy by the name of Ty who helped me with our luggage coming in and ensured I got to the apartment with no issues. And when we had an issue with the ice machine in the apartment Ty came in no time and got it back working. The view was AH-MAZING and the location is in the center of everything you would want and need downtown. A++++

I asked Jarred at the concierge desk if they would be able to help me with an issue with my microwave. Within 30 minutes Ty from maintenance was knocking at the door ready to help. We discussed the issue and he had it taken care in less than 20 minutes! Wow 🤩 Ty was so professional, courteous and helpful. I couldn’t believe how fast everything was taken care of. I have lived in many apartments and never had as good of customer service and so fast. Blown away! They are awesome!
