    Hands down the best maintenance crew! It has been the same crew since we moved in almost 3 years ago. When we submit a work order, they are prompt and fix whatever was broken. I can’t say enough great things about all of them.The front office staff are ok. It seems they have a new gentleman working and he has been communicative and proactive with his leadership. I’m looking forward to better communication and managing with him on the staff.The apartments themselves are very nice. I believe ours is one that has the more dated furnishings, but we are happy with it. We’d love upgrades, but we are already paying enough to live here!I do wish corporate was more lenient with decor and lighting on our patios. I feel it looks much nicer when tenants can actually decorate their patio without getting a citation for a wall hanging.I also hope the office staff can organize more social opportunities for the tenants. Mixers, meet and greets, movie nights, etc. It sure goes a long way to make tenants feel like we are a part of a little mini community here.

    I was very pleased how are apartment felt like home. The staff at The Lodge at Westover Hills was truly pleasant and outgoing. My husband and kids love this place. Evallyna Ortega was very patient and knowledgeable of questions we had. The whole crew is great. If you need an apart come check them out.

    Ive been here for almost 4 years but sadly had to leave due to a job transfer to Colorado. If I could stay longer I absolutely would have. Theyre great people who dont bother me for every little thing and help whenever theres an issue. Their maintenance crew is great and comes to fix whatever is wrong within a day or so of calling, even sooner for emergencies.When I moved out we had an issue with the liner not coming out (dont use liner!) and thought I was going to be on the hook for a few thousand dollars in damages. To my surprise, they only charged $50 for a drawer. In fact, the total charges, despite the place needing a bit of extra cleaning, was less than my deposit so I even got something back! Im not sure why other people on here were charged so much when they moved out, but its likely their damages were far worse than they claimed.The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is the gates. They use a touchless key fob for the door (not the car gate itself) which stopped working for me almost a year ago. I kept coming back asking them to fix it but they never did despite telling me they were on it. Hopefully that gets fixed as it was quite frustrating.Aside from that theyre a great place to live and I recommend them 100%! Just be a good and responsible tenant and theyll be great landlords back.

    Updated since 5 years ago: My husband and I are still living here, now for 7 years. We had no issues with anyone until several months back when we had multi families living above us which caused a lot of foot traffic AND running around. Addressed this issue with management and the manager (Amelia) looked into the matter. It took awhile, but the problem was resolved. I really appreciate her listening to my concerns and resolving the situation. As for any work orders I have, maintenance does a great job on trying to come that day or the day after. The maintenance staff, Debbie, at the front office, and Amelia, the property manager, Thank you for all that you do. Awesome office staff. No one bothers my husband and I where we stay at. We have had 4 major maintenance problems and John (one of the maintenance staff) was always there to resolve our situations that very day or the very next day. The only issue we have is the parking. After 5p parking is hard to find unless you pay for a carport OR a garage unit. Other than that, we like our apartment very much.

    I had an apartment for 2yrs and have to relocate for my job. It’s very clean. No trash on the ground, no dust anywhere, and I’ll see a worker sweeping often. The front office is helpful and friendly. It’s a hassle free place, if you follow the rules. They keep it clean and safe and that’s all that really matters to me. If I need a PLACE TO CALL HOME in the future, I’m still coming here.

    Edit: I wrote the below review 4 years ago. I’m still here and have to say the maintenance staff is still incredible! Ben and Maryann are awesome! They say hello to my dog and always are so helpful. All of them work so hard and it shows.The maintenance and staff is incredible. I had a leak and placed a towel under my sink to absorb the water. After making a repair request, maintenance (within 24 hours) not only fixed the leak but hung the towel in my bathroom to dry.The complex is clean, quiet, spacious and feels like home. Prime Parking can be hassle. Only because tenants are typically home between 5 and 6 pm. However, you can always find parking within 1-2 min walking distance (inside the property) from your home.Overall I am beyond happy with my apartment at The Lodge and plan on staying for a long time.

    Been living there more than a year. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Even they called me for my lost dog that been found and need to pick her up at the office. Also very peaceful at night and nice surrounding with oak trees.

    I am not a tenant yet, however I am extremely impressed with this apartment complex and intend to become one soon. Hilary Alegria is a fantastic agent; she assisted me throughout the entire process in an insightful and cordial way. The amenities and layouts are really exceptional from what I saw during my tour. The fees are much lower than other apartments in the area, and they informed me they offer a 3% discount for military members which essentially pays for your carport. Definitely give this place a look in person.

    So my daughter and I moved here back in 2018 and I must say my experience has been much different than the reviews I have been reading. I have renewed my lease 4 times. Although parking is terrible if you come home around 10 p.m at night, this is a problem anywhere if you dont have a reserve park. I must say as for the staff and the work requests that I put in, they are done within 24hrs. I had a problem with the birds making nests and my building being infested with poop, but after making a call to the front office about this it was power washed the next day and the birds have not been back. I have lived in a lot of nice and expensive apartments on this side of town and I must say this one is meeting my expectations like I had with the other ones. I would like to thank the staff for there swift communication and there response to any issues I may have with my apartment. I do recommend these apartments.

    Honestly, This has been the best apartment I have ever had! I love everything about this complex. My lease is up after 3 years and I need a 3 bedroom since I have another baby on the way that is the only reason I am leaving. If I could afford the 3 bedrooms I would stay forever! Thanks to all the office staff and maintenance you guys have been amazing since day1!

    The managers were extremely helpful, even staying past closing to assist me recovering a money order that had somehow blown into a storm drain right outside of the main building ! Their customer service is exceptional and their staff is very respectful and welcoming especially when explaining the details of the complex. The only complaint I’ve had so far is with the their third party valet trash service and the complex not yet supporting AT&T fiber which was a bummer. But nothing against the complex itself!

    Ms. Kathryn gave me all of the information I needed when I scoped the place out. She remained professional and so helpful throughout my whole process! She definitely lights up the place. The property is very clean, pool and clubhouse as well. Very grateful she took care of all my needs. Oh also! When I ordered packages and they arrived too early at the apartment, her and her maintenance men placed my packages inside! Amazing service!

    Ive been here for a year and just renewed my lease!! Ive never had any problems with staff, neighbors or maintenance. The one time I had a maintenance issue it was resolved within the same day or next day. The girls upfront are super friendly and always willingly to help, especially crystal! Overall Ive been completely satisfied with everything here, thank you for such a pleasant experience!!

    I LOVE LIVING HERE!! I’m actually very shocked at reading some of the comments and the rating low. This is just my own experiences that I can speak on.This is only my second apt in Texas, as I’m not from here, and I love it here. The last apts I was at was horrendous. I don’t mind paying more if it’s a nice place, in a nice neighborhood and worth it. The last place was so ratchet and the staff was rude as well.When I came to look at the apts I came twice as I did not realize in Texas the notice is 60 days and I was about 75 days away from the end of my lease. They still showed me around. I brought over my best friend and his son when i was in my 60 day window and they gladly showed us the complex and 3 units as I was not sure which one I wanted, in terms of square footage. They were so awesome went over what I was eligible for and even gave me info on programs I was entitled to without having to ask. They told me to help me. That was a shocker and a nice surprise. The apts I was living at before held my leasing history for about 3 or 4 days and the staff here kept me informed as they knew I was looking to live here and get the paperwork started.There is no noise issue whatsoever. I’ve never had an issue with my car being vandalized, unlike at my last place where my car was almost stolen. I’ve only needed to call maintenance once. They were here within an hour and fixed the issue in less than 30 minutes. Mind you it only took that long because I called when they were on the lunch break. They deserve to eat in peace and I didn’t need the issue fixed right then and there.Every time I call or stop by everyone is very friendly and welcoming. Lyric is the BEST!!! Most of my interactions have been with her and she has been a sweetheart since the second time I came to tour. Even with the COVID-19 happening they’ve been resourceful, respectful, provided up-to-date info and most importantly, emphatic. It’s truly been a pleasure living here. Next month when I get to my 60 day window I’ll be renewing my lease.My only con is I think the pool is a little too small and the hot tub didn’t seem to work. But I’ve never voiced my opinion on that to them, so can’t hold it against them. Plus, they can’t build a new poop anyway.But line, YOU SHOULD LIVE HERE!!!

    I love these group of people, Kathryn was my leasing consultant and working with her has made my first time renting an apartment a smooth and fun experience; She truly cares about what you need. I did get to meet some of the other team members and they were also as friendly, upbeat and professional as Kathryn. She comes highly recommended.

    We had quite the difficult situation throughout my move-in process due to a variety of factors. But Hilary was by far the single best leasing agent I have ever worked with, and worked hard for us to get everything accommodated. I would recommend The Lodge to anyone!

    We have an apartment right in front of the pool area, and it is so far going great. I like that we are also close to the office area and the people working there are very helpful and polite. You will leave your trash can or bag outside your door and they will come pick it up.There is very limited parking though since there is no assigned parking, but you wont be walking very far. Rooms are a decent size and restrooms are very nice, but tubs are super slippery. If you do however get an apartment in front of the pool you are garanteed a noisy bunch of people shouting ( mostly children playing or splashing around) every. Once in a while. Overall the place is very nice and is mostly quiet from are experience.

    We have been working with Crystal and we are absolutely delighted to move in. We were approved within the first 72 hours and we cannot wait to move in. The initial apartment we wanted ended up not being our cup of tea so Crystal went above and beyond to make sure we moved into the right one and would be comfortable, she’s also accommodated is to take measurements for our new furniture. I’m really excited and cannot wait for our new apartment.

    If you are a first time renter looking for an apartment I highly recommend giving the lodge at west over hills a look at first. Community is friendly, Great GYM, Pool is awesome, and the staff has blown my expectations out the window. Office staff member MEGAN was amazing the whole tour during my visit. The whole experience was totally refreshing!

    Its been a great experience so far. Parking is a pain if you dont have a garage or covered parking, weve parked close to the mailboxes when we live on the other side. I WOULDNT trade it for living somewhere that wasnt gated, or somewhere that wasnt peaceful and didnt feel safe. Weve called about our carpet twice and theyve come clean it right away. When we first moved in one of the rooms smelled like pets, we dont have pets and refused to deal with it. We called them, they came over and sent someone the very next day! Set in stains recently started to appear and they came over and sent someone the next day! Needless to say if youve ever rented from another place where maintenance requests werent taken serious, NOT HERE!

    Lived here for 2 years and loved it! Convenient Location and management is always helpful! The gym is newly renovated and the pool area is so relaxing! The maintenance team is always there to fix anything you need taken care of!

    Love living here, just make sure that you get a car port or a garage before you move in! Parking can be problematic and car ports are never available. Perks: fireworks at Sea World are visible every night from our balcony, there’s a nice pool and a gym, the admin and maintenance staff are friendly and available.

    I am resident of this community since last 2+ yrs and have not faced any major issues. This community is one of the best and the staff in office are very helpful and care about their residents.I want to give a shoutout to service team, work-order tickets raised are closed on very timely manner. I would recommend for any family looking for a nice and quite place to live. Over all awesome experience so far. I am sad that we need to move out of san Antonio to different city in couple of months else this would have been our place for ever.The rating given is totally fake and it should get a min 4+ rating.
